Best beignets in town! We have wanted to try NOLA for a while now & we finally got a chance recently. We decided to have some omelettes & then enjoy some beignets. We decided on the Blue Crab Omelette & the Boudin Omelette. Both were delicious in their own way, but the side of Brabant Potatoes were the star on the plate. The blue crab omelette was fluffy, light & airy. Our waiter suggested a side of avocado went well with it so I added it, he was right. The Boudin omelette was delicious because it had the perfect punch of spice in it, not too much. What really hit the spot were the beignets. They came out to use fresh & hot. We knew they had been freshly made because they were just perfect pillowy pastries that just melted in our mouths. We chose an order of Mixed which included 1 classic, 1 lemon, 1 chocolate & the seasonal which was the Reese’s Pieces peanut butter. All of them were just delicious! 😋 Our waiter was great too. He was there when we needed him & out of our way while we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely stop in for more beignets, those were the highlight of our meal.

Went on a recommendation with friends who've been a few times already. Great location on Broadway not far from Pearl, SAMA or downtown, small private parking lot is also helpful. Welcoming ambience with plenty of inside and outside seating for small and larger groups, enjoyed the lovely wall art, open concept windows and lots of natural lighting. Even the bathroom colors and decor are modern with a nice esthetic. The menu offers mostly traditional Louisiana or southern foods ( praline, boudin, beignets, crab, shrimp etc ) with a few more common brunch options ( pancakes, omlettes etc.). I had the boudin and cream cheese omlette, comes with brabant potatoes (similar to crispy home fries)- it was tasty. Glad that they keep Louisiana hot sauce on the table, which I definitely used since I prefer heat on my eggs. Others at my table all liked their plates, we had a combo the traditional and southern dishes. Personally I like to eat more veggies and fruit, so I gave 4 stars on the food only b/c I haven't tried the rest of the menu yet. Service was friendly and attentive, prices fair/comparablefoe that part of town. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks NOLA B & B for a nice first time.

I had the Nola Brunch, and he had the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pancakes w Turkey Patties and Potatoes. The Nola Brunch was good, the grits were nice and creamy ( I added cheese), and the eggs were scrambled however A bit too soft for me, but I could have asked for them to be hard scrambled. Praline bacon was tasty 😋 not very crispy. I sampled the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes, and they're so good that no syrup was necessary. Our waitress I think her name is Monette she was very friendly and accommodating. Plus, our food came quickly after we ordered. On the way out, we ordered beignets to go I tried the lemon curd beignet once I got home...it was still warm too...so Yummy 😋 Only.parking may be the minius **** I'd definitely eat here "Again" (They are only open for breakfast and lunch)

Came with an 8:45 Sunday breakfast reservation and it was nice and quiet, a little cooler and we sat outside. Brought 2 out of town friends, this is my second time here. I love cafe du monde so this is the next best thing here. Beignets are delicious, personally I’m a classic girlie but we did order variety bc why not. Then I ordered NOLA plate and added shrimp and avocado which was spectacular. My friend got the garden omelette and my other friend ordered same as me plus a biscuit. Everything was perfect and our service was excellent. I forgot his name but he was a thin young man who made us feel welcome and relaxed. Really enjoyed having him. I will continue to bring my friends that visit me here. Yummy! The were impressed!

Google
Found the place looking for dog friendly options in the area. They have this cute Dog's Menu that you can choose from, my dog loved his pancakes so much he actually licked the bowl! (Now that I think about it, it may not be a great selling point) My breakfast was great too, I didn't licked my plate though, but I could've if my wife had looked somewhere else long enough. Anyways, we ate outside, so can't speak about the atmosphere inside. Service was adequate, not vanishing at all, nor checking on us every other minute. Would go back to try a different plate.

Before walking in, visually see the beautiful architecture of Nola. I knew immediately this is going to be an amazing experience. Escorting me in was my wonderful husband. We were kindly greeted and swiftly seated. You could feel atmosphere and vibe. Visually beautiful with the sense of old and yet modern. Perfect background music paired with the appealing aroma coming from the kitchen. We couldn't get a better server. Her name is RUBY. Much MAHALO 🤙🏽 for being attentive. As for the food we ordered, the pictures speak for itself. Yes, yes, yes 👏🏽 🙌🏽 it is delicious! I did the silent clapping as I was eating. Highly recommend Nola. Sadly we reside in Seattle and need to wait to experience the deliciousness of Nola when we visit again. Much ALOHA and MAHALO to Nola. Oh......and I to buy your hat and will be wearing it in Seattle 🤙🏽

The purse pockets and pecan bacon were amazing. My blue crab omelette was underwhelming. Super wet where my husband’s omelette was cooked more through (he got the boudin omelette). Could not finish mine so I was disappointed. Nice ambiance, our server was great but not in a rush to go back.

If your looking to the best service in town where everyone is friendly authentic and wearing a smile in a building built for excellence your in the right place. The fried chicken was some of the best poultry my pallet has ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The lemon beignets and original where fresh and flavorful and my wofe loved the biscuit plate she got. It was her and my sons birthday and they went above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Will be back in the future without a doubt.

Yelp
Never fails me. Family trip to Nola for brunch was amazing. Great service .. helpful, nice and timely. We went for the bread.pudding French toast ... yum.. love the added sugared cranberries. Shrimp and grits was amazing .. LOVE the creole sauce!! Pecan Praline Bacon was just the right amount of sweet and salt. The fried green tomatoes had a kind of vinegar twinge ... hmm .. not our favorite. Of course mimosas and benigns to finish. The strawberry mimosa was strong!

Yelp
Like... 5 for the amazing sweet lady server for taking care my f-d up to go order. I should have known to leave and walk away when the to go guy was like " so would u like cream in you cappuccino?" Lmaoooo Wait huh? Yeah so do you want like any specific flavor like caramel or... like cream? Huh Hahhaa shoulda left. He has no business working there lol. But it did make me laugh I wasn't mad at all. The red flags need to be taken though people! The food was disgusting. And I was starving. When I'm starving all food tastes decent.., this was cardboard dry and bland. I've never had something so gross that cost me nearly 40$ for ONE person! The sweet little waitress you tried to help fix my meal.... She comes up to me she's like so. How is it with a big smile on her face hoping that it's amazing.. lol I looked at her. I was like it does the job. It's putting food in my bellies basically what I meant. I mean, am I allowed to be like this is fucking disgusting and continue to eat it? Lol I was in a hurry, hence trying to order to go.. which in the long run didn't even work out for me to begin with. Lol I'm not eating out anymore. That was a turning point for me lol. And let's talk about the water. Like this restaurant is all about you can bring your dog right . But does the water have to taste like it's for a dog? That shit was gnarly. Every time I took a sip, I gagged a little . The metallic flavor was off the chart... and it tasted like maybe ten dog had been drinking from it before me. Like big dogs not cute little ones like mine. Lol. I dunno how to explain it. The place is clearly popular ... but clearly most people don't have taste buds

Yelp
Really nice space. Bright, open and even though they were full did not feel crowded. Met with a group of friends. We were served quickly but we were not rushed. I had the Banana Foster Pancakes which were amazing. A warning, the Beignets are almost too delicious but they come in a serving of four. Definitely split them because four is way too many for one person. I wish they had tea (other than iced tea) maybe a chai or black tea. Other than that I highly recommend NOLA.
google avatar

Lindsey F.

Yelp
NOLA is hands-down my favorite spot to eat in San Antonio. It's where I take all my out-of-town guests. The chicken and beignets (with lemon beignets, of course) are perfection. No notes. The space is super cute. The vibes are always great, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's the kind of place that just makes you happy to be there.

Yelp
I have good things to say about Nola. The service was great on a busy Saturday morning. The food came out quick and hot, everything ordered was super fresh. But $20-24 for an omelette? Really? Yes, I paid. And yes I will be back. There is outdoor seating area. Oh and parking sucks. Be prepared to possibly park far away!
google avatar

Vanessa P.

Yelp
This was my first visit to the new location. Parking was a challenge but worth it once inside. Still has a very laid back vibe and great dishes. The grits are my absolute favorite and oh how I have missed them. Our server was great, very kind and attentive. Made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us a good amount of times but not overbearing. will be back.
google avatar

Lisabelle L.

Yelp
Came here for the first time. Parking is difficult and limited so come early or park nearby. Waiting can be up to 45 minutes, we waited for 40 minutes. It's quite popular on the weekends. They have outdoor seatings under a fan or indoors. Service was great, very attentive for a busy weekend. Food is absolutely delicious and the beignets are a MUST! Definitely recommend to try at least once, but I'd recommend more than once to try everything on their menu. And beignets are a MUST!

Yelp
TLDR: One of the most enjoyable brunch spots you'll ever come across in the Alamo City. Go visit it, and go early! Finally got around to trying NOLA B&B this morning and really enjoyed the experience. Went at 9am on Friday as the parking lot here is tight, it shares spaces with a gym(!) and can fill up quickly. Setting is delightful, with an exposed wood beam interior and windows that let in lots of light. Service was superb, the waitress Ruby was on top of everything and even had the kitchen split an order for us on request! The food is creative, delicious, and authentically Nawlin's. We started with a Mixed Plate of the signature beignets: be prepared to be baptized in powdered sugar but the lavender and lemon curd fillings are superb and the Froot Loops topping is fun. I wanted to try the Pain Perdu, but the beignets more than satisfy the sweet tooth. Instead we tried the boudin balls - deep fried balls with pork, rice, and some zippy spices inside. The remoulade sauce on the side is superb. Finally we split the blue crab omelet with the side of brabant potatoes. Delicious, though the topping of Creole Hollandaise needed a good dash of pepper. All in all, excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Come early to ensure you can park and get a table and you're sure to be satisfied! This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad I finally did! Fried green tomatoes are my go to and theirs did not disappoint! The chicken and beignets, so flavorful. Had the hurricane and that was yummy and all I needed was one drink and I was good. The service and atmosphere were great as well. Will definitely be going back:)
google avatar

Yelp
Been waiting a awhile to eat here and I regret waiting for so long. We got there around 10 and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The service was quick and attentive. I ended up getting a matcha drink (it's not on the menu). It was great. But the star was the blue crab omelette. I opted for the crawfish fish Hollandaise. It was amazing. The eggs were soft and flavorful. The sauce with the crawfish bits was heaven. We were seated outside and our table had one of those flies spinning things. That was cool. Plus a fan to keep us comfy outside. I want to come back here soon.

Yelp
Really enjoyed brunch I am not really a pancake person but these were yummy It is a great brunch spot for groups fun fast service

Yelp
I LOVED their coffee! So rich and flavorful. All of our food was delicious. My husband loved the blue crab omelette. I had the NOLA breakfast with the eggs, candied bacon and grits. Normally I'm not a grits person but saw rave reviews so gave it a shot. They were right! Very flavorful and I enjoyed it. My son had the Big Easy Biscuit sandwich and loved it and my daughter had the Bananas Foster Pancakes and we ALL enjoyed that! Beignets were great too. My favorite was the lemon!
google avatar

Melanie M.

Yelp
Great service! Waiter was friendly and upbeat. Generous with the water and coffee refills. I had the NOLA brunch plate. Scrambled Eggs, Grits, Praline Bacon, Fried Green Tomato. So good - especially that bacon. I added sliced avocado for perfection. I drink my coffee black and enjoyed this one a lot. My friend had blue crab omelette and enjoyed it. We finished with beignets that are always the star of the meal. NOTE: Dog friendly! They have a menu for your pups! We sat on the patio. It was nice!

Yelp
My husband and I finally decided to check out NOLA Brunch & Beignets, a spot I've been eyeing for a while since I work just down the street. I've always been curious--could their beignets really compare to the ones we had in New Orleans? Verdict: They absolutely nailed it. From the moment our food hit the table, we were hooked. We ordered the Muffuletta, the Big Easy Biscuit, and of course, the Classic Beignets--and every bite was incredible. The Muffuletta was the perfect size--not overwhelming, just right. The briny olive tapenade and savory ham were balanced perfectly, with just a little kick to wake up your taste buds without overpowering the sandwich. The Big Easy Biscuit was a pleasant surprise. I expected it to be heavy, but it was light and buttery, and that hollandaise sauce? Pure magic. I found myself dipping the seasoned potatoes in it--so good I'd go back just for that. Now the Beignets--these were perfection. Pillowy, not overly sweet, with just the right amount of powdered sugar. No soggy bottoms or dry centers--just soft, warm, fluffy goodness. If you're craving a taste of New Orleans in San Antonio, this place is a must. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Chef Pete continues his Legacy. The Hip, Chic Warehouse restaurant Vibe at his new location is Nothing short of ~SPECTACULAR~ And the FOOD & Service I did not think could get any better! Love Love Love this place. Be prepared to loose track of time!
google avatar

Yelp
My friend wanted to bring me here because of my love for the Crescent City. Founded by New Orleans native Pieter Sypesteyn and his wife Susan, NOLA Brunch & Beignets is a charming eatery where you can enjoy a New Orleans style brunch with a south Texas Twist. The restaurant is spacious with a colorful mural of a swamp on the wall. Our darling server exuded Southern hospitality. She was an absolute doll. We started with glass of champagne and decided to split the Mixed Stuff Beignets - Lemon Curd, Chocolate, Raspberry, & Classic. OMG! They were amazing! Pillowy soft with the right amount of powdered sugar on top. Our favorite was the raspberry, but they were all good. Some of the best I've had! I hope to return and try some of their other dishes. I also love that they have a doggie menu. *Parking lot or street parking. *10 Corkage Fee. 3 bottle limit.

Yelp
Came here with my Cher n Ma to pass a good time. First time at the new location. Just as good as the old location. Nice food good people. Bathrooms were really clean which is always a big plus. If I knew some more Cajun colloquialisms I'd insert them here but I'm a couillon fer sure bruh.
google avatar

Ruby L.

Yelp
Restaurant is really clean and roomy, tables are spaced out. Service was great. Food was really good. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
google avatar

Aliah J.

Yelp
First looks : Interior & exterior were super cute , the parking lot is small so either be patient or find somewhere near by. The food was amazing! We opted for a champagne by the bottle and juices ! Good came out at a decent speed . The atmosphere was lively and a good place to enjoy inside or out! Staff was helpful , quick and knowledgable *be prepared for a wait on busy days*
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing brunch! We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table on a Saturday morning, which isn't too bad. I took one star off only for the noise level inside, otherwise this would have been a 5-star review. Generous portions. I had the Nola brunch plate, plus avocado which was delicious. I'm normally not a fan of grits, but theirs were outstanding-- not soupy, with a little kick. My son had the Blue crab omelette, and devoured it. This kid is not usually a breakfast fan, but absolutely it, along with side of potatoes. We also got a side (4 pieces) of the Classic beignets for the table-- everything you'd hope for: warm, doughy, and sugary. Definitely a place to check out in San Antonio!!
google avatar

Kaylee P.

Yelp
Service was a TEN. I had a very attentive, relaxed, and enthusiastic server. Food was not worth the price point. It was fast and hot. But just not good to me. I got the big easy biscuit and for $20 I got one egg Benedict. Mimosa is $10 but only a champagne flute (standard). But for all the hype I would not go back. Maybe for a lunch item but brunch was not worth it.
google avatar

Alison P.

Yelp
We had a party of 7 today to celebrate my husbands birthday. We have frequented the very first restaurant several times and the food was at a much higher level so we were a bit disappointed. The gumbo although flavorful came out luke warm. There was a lot of sausage but only one piece of what tasted like chicken but possibly was roasted pork. The egg dishes were just so so. This restaurant although substantially larger missed the mark on food for us today. The vibe is good but they needed to turn the music down a tad and find a way to minimize the noise so you could hear the waiter and your surrounding party. The main outstanding item of course was the beignets they did not disappoint.
google avatar

Clara G.

Yelp
I've been here several times over the past few years and after my last experience wasn't great I was asked to come back. Honestly I was nervous there would be no change and I really didn't want to leave a bad review. I'm surprised by Nola, in the best way possible. The food was good and the staff was amazing but what stood out to me the most was the change on the menu. Last visit the coffee cost $11 because of the upcharge for alternate milk and a flavoring and I was upset because they didn't disclose the price of the upcharge. It's now on the menu, clear as day. A restaurant that can take accountability and make positive change is a restaurant that will always get my business!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here first Saturday morning brunch. Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance as this place can take up to an hour wait if you walk in. It has a beautiful interior, and has an indoor and outdoor space. We sat inside because there was construction going on outside but would be beautiful on a nice day. They have plenty of drink options. We got the mimosa kit with the mango juice option. They have plenty of other juice options like orange, grapefruit and pineapple. My wife also asked for an espresso martini, which they were about to make for her even though it wasn't on their menu. It tasted like liquid tiramisu - just straight up deliciousness. You have to try their beignets if you come here. We got the mixed which came with a regular, chocolate, lemon and seasonal. They were lightly fried and coated with powdered sugar which you could easily brush off it it's too much for you. I got the Bon Ami plate for an entree. The eggs were so light and fluffy and sweet potato and artichoke were savory. We left feeling full and content. They offer a 10% military discount only to the active duty member!!!

Yelp
I decided to bring my mother here for her birthday brunch because she loves New Orleans & the food. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. We ordered the Big easy Biscuit sandwich, the chicken & beignets, & the Nola Brunch plate. We also ordered the seasonal beignet, which had blackberry and maple sauce w/ bkackberries. They also serve my mom a beignet with a vanilla cream and saying happy birthday to her. This little touch made it so special. The coffee was amazing too! The Nola Plate had the most amazing bacon on it, and the grits were good and had a slight spice. The chicken was also crispy with a light maple Cajun sauce. The biscuit was amazing. We all enjoyed our food. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Tiffany R.

Yelp
The atmosphere is so good, great customer service, but the food yall??? insane!!!! we had a little bit if everything, chocolate and piña colada filled beignets. I loved my boudin omelette was incredibly flavorful & my fiends chicken beignets was very savory. I will be coming back!!! Oh!!!! they also have parking which is a huge plus & if you have to park at the other location they comp the price!!
google avatar

Yelp
Visit time on a Sunday at 12:15 pm on a sunny, warm winter day. Ordered a cocktail from to go window while I awaited a table. Had breakfast biscuit plate and my friend had a shrimp poboy, and we split beignets. Delicious. I recommend.

Yelp
Well, Steven, my family and I decided to make a return trip to NOLA's, and I will say that the experience was a lot better! First off, the weather was dreadful on this day with the torrential downpour that was ongoing; however, the staff kept us informed on the wait times and made sure everyone in our party was accommodated. Once inside, the ambiance was the same as before: festive, lively, and upbeat due to the music that was coming through the speakers. (More on that in a few!) Our server, Brad, was the living personification of uptempo! He attended to all of our requests and asked the appropriate questions about our drink and food orders! No glass on our table ever got below half full, and that is a plus!! On this trip, I had the Boudin Omelette with potatoes, and that, my friend, was damn good! Great combination of ingredients and spices! My wife had the NOLA Brunch Plate, and she was VERY pleased with the stone-ground grits! Well seasoned and CREAMY! The praline bacon was definitely a hit, and I will order more next time to take home! My son had the chocolate chip cookie dough pancakes and was truly pleased with the plate, and the taste was right up his alley! The one thing that was a negative mark on our first visit was that the food was served cold. On this visit, everything was served with warmth and promptness! NOW...as far as the musical ambiance is concerned...the DJ that was spinning the tunes kept the heads bobbing and shoulders rocking! I thought it was the company MUZAK that was giving us our musical fill, but no, it was this young man in the back with his computer and equipment just KILLING IT...but he looked very, very young to have this type of musical taste. He played everything from the 70's to the early 2000's R&B! So, I got up to thank him for keeping the mood lively and asked him if he had a tip cup. He did, however, it was in his coat pocket. He pulled it out, and I gave him a tip. Then I asked him what his name was and how old he was...I was not expecting to hear 14!!! I then increased his tip! His name is Willam, and he definitely set the mood of the place! WELL DONE, YOUNG MAN, WELL DONE! Great job, NOLA's! Your reputation precedes you! (Now, let's talk about the parking situation! lol) Be well and stay Blessed!!
google avatar

Tyler W.

Yelp
Stopped at their new location for a lil brunch with a friend and it was packed but they seated us within 15 min -- we used to be at their old spot, which was way smaller so those wait times were way longer lol (if you know, you know). We were really impressed with the ambiance, beautiful mural, and outdoor seating at this new location. It's so close to the Pearl, you could walk there easily after Saturdays/Sundays for the farmers market! We got the blue crab omelette (the only crab was what is on top pictured here) and the beignet breakfast sandwich which were both tasty. We got an order of the beignets with traditional powdered sugar and those were dishhhh! They did forget the side of bacon we ordered so can't comment on that dish yet until we go back lol -- mimosas were good! We had a heavy pourer so that's always nice ;) overall, still a cute brunch spot with good music and vibes.
google avatar

Vanessa A.

Yelp
The food was pretty good and the mimosas make everything perfect! Loved the crab dishes & our service was nice. The meals are so adorable inside. No complaints but I do wish there was more parking.
google avatar

Madeleine H.

Yelp
I love this restaurant and have been coming since it was at its previous location. This place has authentic New Orleans vibes, a fantastic Vietnamese iced coffee, and great little beignets. There's a big shaded patio with fans to keep you cool in the summer and a large indoor dining room. There is also a walk up window where you can get coffee and beignets. There's a small parking lot or you can just do street parking around the area.
google avatar

Sicily H.

Yelp
Everything we ordered at Nola, Brunch and Beignets was absolutely delicious! The highlight of the meal was hands-down the bread pudding French toast. Rich, perfectly sweet, and worth every bite. If you try one thing here, make it that!
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Had brunch at NOLA Brunch & Beignets in San Antonio and loved the experience. I ordered the green eggs and ham- it was flavorful, creative, and surprisingly hearty. The ambiance was vibrant and welcoming, with a cute New Orleans-inspired vibe that really set the tone for a relaxing weekend brunch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything came out pretty quickly even though it was busy. I didn't get the beignets this time, but they looked amazing! Definitely coming back for those! Great spot for anyone craving a little Southern flair.

Yelp
We have read the buzz about this location. So, what is the best thing to do right after Thanksgiving LOL go to Nola! Let's start operationally. We used our OFFLINE app and had a $15 credit towards the bill. We arrived at 0845 am and it was about 1/3 full. We expected the vibe to be a little more upbeat to include the staff. Not that anyone was rude or bad, just different than what we expected compared to places we have been in New Orleans. When we went to activate the OFFLINE credit, it stated it wasn't available. The host wasn't sure, so I found the GM and asked. He explained on 1 November they ended the contract with OFFLINE. Cool deco throughout the facility. They also have a seating area outside, very nice. We thought it would be noisy inside due how open the space is. Nope, not at all. Then to my surprise, the GM said, "Don't worry I will still honor this" WOW. On to breakfast. It was very good, spicey... not hot, but spices. My only suggestion, pour a little gravy over the second biscuit. Poor thing was a lone after I was finished with the meal. Cindi a 40 year plus vegetarian LOVED her coconut chia pudding. I wanted to poo poo it, but after a bite. Dang, it was good! But we have to say the BEIGNETS stole the show. Off the charts with the coffee, mmm mmm. Price point was in line with other establishments in the area. We ordered one to split. The order came out and it was 6 on the plate. I explained we ordered one. Wait staff apologized and said he would correct the order. He came back about 1 minute later and said the 6-piece order was on the house. Outcome - we will go back for sure. Maybe the vibe will be more upbeat, and hope everything else stays the same! Hats to management to making it right. REFRESHING.

Yelp
The new location is awesome. You can never go wrong with your beignets. I will definitely be back. The waitress was super nice and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed.

Yelp
I love that they moved to a larger space. It's beautifully adorned with custom murals that brings the spirit of the food into the space. The service was great! Our server was friendly and welcoming, and offered great suggestions. I did a build your own type of experience because I wanted the lump crab and potatoes with the sauce and it didn't disappoint. Their drip coffee is delicious too. Super flavorful and hot and fresh! What more could you want?! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
First time to the new location. They do have a parking lot but it does tend to fill up. The ambiance of the inside is awesome! And the food is spectacular!! We ordered the Mimosa Kit and you get a reusable frozen bag to take home. Pro Tip: you can bring it back on your next visits and get 10% off your next mimosa set up!! The green eggs and ham were so good and of course the beignets were warm and fluffy! Also, the service was impressive! We will definitely be back. Also, make a reservation if you can. You won't regret it!

Yelp
I hadn't been since they moved and I finally was able to make my way over! The new place is gorgeous! So much more room inside and an outdoor patio. Parking has improved from st Mary's st but still a bit small for their new size restaurant. They have a beautiful party room that I kept admiring. The food is just as good! Love the options for coffee and mimosa depending on how you're feeling that day. Will be back for brunch with the girls!

Yelp
Finally made it here. The parking was terrible. The wait was a little long. It was so nice inside but loud. Loved the waitress, she was attentive and friendly. I got the blackened chicken sandwich on sourdough with the potatoes. Absolutely delicious. We also got two classic beignets and two filled with lemon. So good. Can't wait to come back and try something else.

Yelp
My new favorite place! There were a few hiccups with getting my food, but my waitress Merlot went so far above and beyond to make things right that I have no complaints. I sat outside on the patio, there was a nice breeze along with the smooth music that made this place a whole vibe. The bread pudding French toast is absolutely amazing, if I never try anything else on the menu I will be back for these. The beignets were also fantastic. It IS a little on the pricy side ($15 for the French toast alone, and $7 for a side of eggs), but other than that I highly recommend!

Yelp
Solid brunch/breakfast spot! I have to say that the parking lot comes in clutch, too. To be able to park outside close and have a great meal in that part of town is rare. Food and service were spectacular! The cheddar grits were spot on. The chicken was so dang good. And the flavors on each dish were perfectly balanced. We sat outside on the patio and had a great experience. We'll be back!

Yelp
Anytime I see beignets on the menu I am there. This place is exceptional from the service to the food. The beignets were delightful- crispy on the outside yet soft and light. The lemon ones are my favorite. The chicken and beignets are also delicious. The sauce is phenomenal. My 7 yo daughter said this was the best meal she had during our stay in San Antonio. We tried to come back the next day on our way to the airport but the wait was too long. You should definitely eat here but come early because parking is tough and it can get crowded.

Yelp
Nice breakfast but gosh, the place is loud. I mean so loud you can think or talk. We thought the blueberry pancakes were good but the prices for everything were high - a scrambled egg plate (2 eggs) for 7.00? Crazy high. Service was good, the girl who helped us was friendly. We didn't order much else after our plates because it was too loud and we just wanted to leave.

Yelp
Visited for the first time for a birthday brunch. The establishment is lovely and very serene. The staff is warm and friendly and very attentive. We were allowed to bring our own champagne to celebrate with mimosas for an added $10 charge. The beignets were fluffy and delicious. The eggs were fluffy. The bacon was crispy and the potatoes were very well seasoned. Can't wait to visit again for lunch.

Yelp
Service was great! The hostess was more than accommodating being that I had a stroller and we were seated right away, it was after peak hour. Food was tasty, flavors worked together so well and portions were large. The open floor plan was so refreshing being that we do have a small child so being able to move through tables with no trouble was great. The lighting was also bright and perfect for photos.

Yelp
Wanted to make sure I added the photos of the delicious crab bites and shrimp and grits I had while eating here.

Yelp
Not a place to take a large group. We had even made an early morning reservation for 10 people with two weeks notice. Four of us arrived a few minutes after the rest of the group was already seated. Typically the waiter would come by and ask if you want something to drink... well not here. It was at least 20 minutes from the time I sat down until I saw the waiter pop back in to check on the table. I actually had to go inside to ask if someone could come check on our table. Our waiter seemed to be preoccupied with another large party inside. Maybe they need to organize the way they split their tables a little better. Anyway, the food was good but a bit on the pricey side. I find it hard to justify charging $9 for two slices of bacon. If you're going to up-charge so much on your food, at least offer decent service. Also, their parking lot is tiny so you'll have to look for street parking or pay in a private lot. The food definitely wasn't good enough to bring me back here again.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the food, service and atmosphere. Definitely coming back to try out the Poor boys. Those looked amazing but got the sandwich today. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful. No trouble finding a place to park.

Yelp
Food is amazing, they even have a menu for the dogs. I've never had a problem with the staff. They are knowledgeable and fun at the same time. I would only recommend getting there early, as it does get crowded soon.
