Seapot

You come to Seapot primarily for the hotpot, and the Korean BBQ is kinda a secondary afterthought for a $5 add-on (or you can just get the BBQ by itself). If you're hankering for some real deal Korean BBQ, you might want to pass Seapot due to limited meat offering. That doesn't mean the quality of the meat is bad, far from it! We've dined at Seapot on several occasions. The conveyor belt with rotating ingredients is generally reserved for adding to the hotpot only. Unlike traditional Korean BBQ joints, the banchan (small side dishes) commonly served and plated on your table, is self-served at the communal banchan and sauce bar located near the entrance. Want kimichi or seaweed salad? Go serve yourself. I think this helps reduce waste and allows the patrons to decide what sides they truly want to eat. Pretty decent full bar area with wide selection of hand crafted cocktails, beer and spirits to choose from. All you can eat, but 90 minute limit.

We went to Seapot for dinner First of all, the interior is genuinely impressive. The design looks modern and stylish, and visually, it makes a strong first impression. The rotating conveyor system also looks cool at first glance. However, the experience quickly went downhill. Our server missed several basic items we asked for, like napkins, but that wasn’t a big issue. What was an issue was the environment. Our table was toward the back, and it was so noisy that we could barely have a conversation. We only did hot pot. Hygiene is where this place really needs improvement. The small sauce and dessert bar looked messy and unclean. Some of the hot pot ingredients coming down the conveyor belt were dried out, wilted, and had visible discoloration. At one point, I honestly wondered if the lighting was intentionally kept dim to hide this. More concerning, there was an occasional spoiled food smell in the air. It seriously killed my appetite and made me feel nauseous. If it weren’t for the cleanliness and freshness issues, this place could actually be great. But because of them, we didn’t enjoy our meal and left disappointed. We spent about $110 for two people with hot pot and 1 drinks soda, and it didn’t feel worth it. Many people have mentioned the same issues unpleasant food odors and lack of freshness. If Seapot could improve hygiene and ensure truly fresh hot pot ingredients, it could become a much better place. After eating here, I felt uncomfortable and had stomach pain. Whether that was psychological or not, seeing dirty floors, dried and discolored rice cakes, dumplings, noodles, and vegetables combined with the lingering spoiled smell definitely played a role. It’s a visually beautiful place. If cleanliness improves, it’s somewhere I’d actually want to return to. Right now, it just left me disappointed. But this restaurant is cool in Dallas🥲

I had an amazing experience at Seapot! It was my first time here, and I honestly enjoyed it a lot. The worker in the photo was super nice, and so were many of the other employees, they were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, fresh, and definitely worth it, especially for such a reasonable price. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the atmosphere was perfect, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back and would 100% recommend Seapot to anyone looking for great food and great service. +they had a variety of different things

We stepped into a dark and smoky restaurant with rows of dining booths, and a whole wall showing a college football game. 😊 Not the Korean BBQ setting I expected, but since it was trending on our socials, we thought to give it a try. There’s a waitlist to be seated, so best to either go before the lunch or dinner rush so you get seated quicker. We waited for about 10mins, and we were 5th on waiting list. Once you’re seated, you’ll see the food train with your extra meats and sides, the table is big enough for 4 people. We chose the hotpot and KBBQ set, about $35.99. The soup bases were ok, my fave was the herbal broth, easy on the gut since it wasn’t spicy to begin with, but you can build on your flavors. The sauce/condiment counters though, were a bit too dark for my liking, some of the new to hotpot dining looked lost over there, and the lines got super long during the dinner rush. Perhaps a standard 3-option plate of sauces would help other diners enjoy their dining experience better. 🤭 You’ll never go wrong with Ponzu, chili oil and garlic, then red bean sauce. Meat selections for hotpot were good, the KBBQ had less than what we we’ve been used to at other places, but still pretty substantial for the $price 👍🏼 We got about 4 servings of Galbi, spicy Pork Belly and squid; then the options for hotpot were endless. For a collagen boost, get the Beef tendon boiling away while you sample other meats, by the time you’re ready for it, about 10-15 mins, it’ll be the best thing paired with some cabbage or bokchoy. Cons: - I would have liked there to be less smoke; better exhaust perhaps? - Accept the fact that you will need to wash your hair again after dining here, LOL - Lettuce wraps and perilla leaves on the food train would be a nice addition too please.😊

One of the better Kbbq spots in town. Good cocktails and the sauce bar is pretty good! A little too loud for those with sensitive hearing but overall a great place for a group hangout!

The BBQ and Rotary Hotpot restaurant is really delicious, the food is tasty and diverse, the hotpot broth and BBQ sauce match my taste very well, and the seafood is truly fresh. The kids loved it and grabbed too much food, so we’re really full today. Server are very enthusiastic and cheerful. The receptionists are all pretty, but a bit unprofessionalism

For the $21.99 and all you can eat hotpot. The only meat that was good was the toro. It was thin cut. The brisket and ribeye was too thick. I did not enjoy it. Service felt slow too. We only requested meat twice.

Our first time visiting this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. There was a short queue because the place is so popular and I can see why. The service we had was excellent! He was a polite young man and attended to all our needs without fault. The choice of food at the 'all you can eat' buffet was of good quality and delicious. With a price of 30 dollars each I thought it was very reasonable for the amount of food choices you can eat. Will definitely be coming here again in the future.

Great food and customization to your dish!! So many options, which for a picky eater like me is great! Although they're weird about wasting food and will charge you for unfinished plates of meat? So don't order more than you can eat!

hot pot excellent. The Korean BBQ lacking. Shrimp was impossible to get out of shell. calamari was like eating a Michelin tire.

This place is always solid. I usually come here for the AYCE hotpot. I love that it's conveyor belt style so you can grab whatever! They also have a decent sauce bar plus some appetizers, which is a nice bonus while you wait for your food to cook. They even have crab legs. I think it's weekends only. Just a heads up: it gets really busy on weekends and there's almost always a wait. You have to sign in on their iPad when you get there.

Seapot has quickly become one of my favorite spots to visit. The food, the service, the ambiance, everything is amazing. Whether you're there for the Hot Pot, the Korean BBQ, or both, the experience never disappoints. After several visits, I have to say the Hot Pot won me over. There are just so many delicious options, and not nearly enough room in the belly to enjoy it all at once! The setup is part of the fun: every table is positioned next to a conveyor belt loaded with ingredients to add to your hot pot, dangerously delicious. They also have a walk-up bar with sauces and extra sides like wings and crab legs (two of my ultimate comfort foods, so that's an automatic win). Bottom line: come hungry, and you'll leave happy, content, and overstuffed in the best possible way.

We arrived at Seapot for dinner on a busy Friday night. There's a huge big screen TV with the Mavs game on, and some really cool lighting on the counters that look like flames. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. The dipping sauce station is not arranged very well. They need to pull it away from the wall to allow access from both sides. The food was very good. For the hot pot, you get your choice of meats and the other hot pot items like vegetables, noodles, and seafood comes around on a conveyor belt. The sauce bar also has some items like snow crab legs, chicken wings, and potato salad. The cost on Friday dinner was $33 and we each had a cocktail for $13 each. With tax and tip we spent $115. It seemed expensive but prices have gone up everywhere. We enjoyed our meal.

FOOD Pretty much AYCE hotpot with the option of also ordering for BBQ. Everything from beef, pork, and chicken to lamb. High quality cuts of meat, fresh vegetables, and so many options for sauce. They also have other fried foods that you can grab near the sauce bar! VIBES There is a revolving bar with different vegetables, noodles and other things that you can put inside your hot pot. The lighting is on the dimmer side, but there is plenty of seating especially for larger parties. I like how each person can get their own pot for hot pot. On a side note, the seats are deceivingly hard but there is booth seating! SERVICE Service is great! They were really quick to get all the meats out, and they even do some singing with LED signs for birthdays.

Our favorite AYCE spot, as they have both hotpot and Korean BBQ. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - Large restaurant with a large bar area as well. They have an area for sauces, and fried items as well (I assume for the kiddos, but I enjoyed them as well). They have a conveyor belt for veggie items, so you can just sit and pick what items you would like. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and attentive. They will come back often so that you make sure you get your fill of the meat items. Food/Drink - I normally just item out what items I usually order. However, with AYCE, it is really hard to do. It is really your preference, so for me, I always go with meat items and a spicy broth. As for the Korean BBQ, again, I go for the beef. They do have HH from 3-6 M-F. Overall, this place is our top spot for AYCE hotpot, and will be back again and again.

We tried the Hot Pot and added Korean Bbq for an additional $5 it was worth the up charge. Great meat selection and everything was fresh. We went on Sunday they were pretty busy but we only waited about 20 mins. Our waiter was nice he made great suggestions and told us how everything worked. You do have a 1.5 hour time limit per table which felt about right. Ambiance for an all you can eat was nice and I like the big tv with the games on with a sitting area was spot on

I LOVE Seapot! One of the best hot pot places in DFW in my opinion. The selection is great. They have a sauce bar and another food bar with different hot foods, fruits, etc. I typically get the Thai pot broth, which is spicy and sour. I love grabbing ingredients from the conveyer belt that goes around the restaurant, there are so many options! You can also do both hot pot and kbbq for an additional $5 per person. Definitely a fun experience to enjoy with friends and/or family!

Excellent!! Great place for combo Korean BBQ and Chinese Hot Pot :) they have a nice Asian ambiance and it's always packed so it must be good !!

Fantastic food. The service was pretty good. It was quite clean for a hot pot in Korean barbecue place.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time but never did due to how hard is to get a spot. We came for an early dinner on a Friday to beat the rush and the wait wasn't long, about 15 minutes. Once we sat down our waitress was really friendly and helped us get settled right away. We only got the hotpot and not the bbq. You get to order your broth and the cuts of raw meats you'd like for the hotpot to your server and everything else is either on the conveyer belt or the sauce station. There's a lot of variety at the sauce station, it really has everything you need. There's also sides there such as kimchi and seaweed salad, and crab legs. Desserts such as grass jelly is also there too which is a plus. All the items on the conveyer belt is fresh and we had a great time eating there. While it's crowded and the music was playing, we were still able to hear each other pretty well across the table. Overall I think it's a great place to go if you're looking for an all you can eat spot, just account for the wait time.

Love going here for lunch! We usually get the hotpot & kbbq combo because you can't beat that deal! Expect a bit of a wait, but fret not since they run through the waitlist very efficiently! Ambiance is lively and can get a bit loud sometimes. However, service is always attentive and great! When you get to your booth, the server sets you up and asks for your orders. We love the chuck flap here for kbbq. For hot pot, we love the miso soup and healthy herb soup bases! There is a conveyer belt that runs through each booth, and you pick items there for your hotpot! The items are always fresh and tasty. There is also an extensive sauce bar for dipping, hot food station, and jelly dessert station! Their hot foods are actually solid--we love the crab rangoon! Will always recommend this place!

Dont come here, staff is horrible. Especially LINDA. She gave an attitude the moment we sat down. Kept telling us what to do all the time. Like let me eat lol. Someone get her out of this place. Please avoid her if you ever come here.

We always love going to sit and have dinner with our kids here. They love making their own soup and taking a variety of fun and new things to try in their soups. The service is always a 10/10. We never feel forgotten about. The restaurant can feel overwhelming at times because of sooo many people who also love it but it's still compliments our craving. The ambiance is always moving and there is never a dull moment. My kids love it when it's someone's birthday because they can sing with everyone. We always recommend this place to our family and friends. Our family of 5 will always come back for more!

Picture it. It's starting to get cool in Dallas but it's still pretty hot... so what do you do? You eat hot pot or so say the Asians. You're supposed to eat hot pot to produce a copious amount of sweat so you can feel each and every breeze to make you feel better. Jen was our server and has been there since the beginning and honestly? She needs a raise. I thought she was a manager or a lead with the way she presented herself on Tuesday but alas, she's not. If you don't give her a raise or a day off I will riot with my friends, and I've quite a lot! Anyways. Here's to a review. Walking in can be very overwhelming; you have to check in with a kiosk and input your information to make a reservation. They'll contact you via Yelp and contact you that way. If you're bored and parched sit by the bar with their expansive shelf of libations for them to concoct. I had asked for a highball and my bartender almost shook it. Maybe a little more education for them could help but all in all it was what I needed. Sitting down to these giant tables you've got an individual stove for just you and your friends instead of sharing one giant pot. To the end of the booth a conveyor belt is spinning round and round for veggies, noods, and other sides for your delectable soon to be meal. One giant menu is produced for your hot pot AND Korean bbq meats. I love their garlic shrimp and teriyaki salmon for the grill and will sometimes grill them to toss them into my pot for extra umami. All in all, it's a fun time with good people.

Wow! What an experience. This was my second time going to a Korean bbq restaurant and this place is grand is big! Never been to anything like it. The music in this place was great. The ambience and atmosphere was amazing. There was so much to choose from it was overwhelming in the best way possible. I would definitely go again.

The food was really good and so were the drinks! There was not a long wait (about 10 minutes) and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant has a cool atmosphere and it was a nice experience to cook the food ourselves.

I went for Sunday barbecue and hotpot. Firstly, the service was really good. Attentive & courteous staff! I like the relaxed ambiance despite the place is packed-busy. Great selections of meats, vegetables, seafood, variety of noodles including zero carb shirataki! They also have a bar for appetizer, sauces, banchan, and deserts. I enjoyed the crab rangoon, egg rolls for the appetizers. Kimchi wasn't impressive, the radish was so good and cleans the palate it's a must at every table. 8 variety of soups, I ordered Mushroom soup and spicy miso and both hit the spot- they are good enough as they were but I always have to add some garlic, soy sauce & sesame oil to my soup and to marinade the pork belly with. I enjoyed the conveyor belt convenience keeping the taste adventure flowing. I can't name all that was there but I enjoyed the kabocha, the greens, quail eggs, shiitake mushrooms, lotus root slices, king mushroom, dumplings, lobster balls, there's 250 other things on there but I picked my faves to add to my mushroom soup.

Staff were very attentive and friendly . Must eat in an hour and half but hot pot selections of veggies and other options are on a conveyor held which isn't always full with all the options. Sauce selections were good. Dessert options were limited . But pots was good flavor but very fat for the grill and didn't like the fat that they put all the meat on the grill for us so it was all done . Would have like to do it ourselves so we could eat it at our pace. Hot pot selections were good. And looked fresh . Over all was good . Restaurants looked clean and gave off a good vibe. Bathroom were clean and over all nice place.

All you can eat hot pot! (And kbbq if you add it for $5 more) Was my first time experiencing hot pot on a conveyor belt! I love it, it's so convenient to take whatever I want to eat. Be sure to finish your food because wasting does cost extra. They have a sauce station at the front to make your own dips and you order meat from the server. The place is spacious and there are lots of tables but still be sure to get a reservation because we walked in in the morning and there was already a wait.

We came by for lunch on Friday. The restaurant was pretty busy. The interior is huge with 50+ tables that can comfortably seat 6. There are also even larger tables near the front that can probably seat up to 10. There are sofas by the bar for those who are waiting to be seated. Each table has stoves for hotpot, a grill for BBQ, and individual controls for each. There's a novelty conveyor belt system that delivers vegetables, mushrooms, and noodles. There are three separate bars--a sauce bar, sides bar, and dessert bar--located at the front. Hotpots are personal-sized. I ordered the pork stomach broth, which was pretty good. I loved that it was filled with a strong white pepper flavor. I ordered lamb and beef toro. The lamb was pretty good, but the beef was just alright. Don't get me wrong - everything was fresh, I just wouldn't get the beef again. The dessert bar turned out to be surprisingly good. Everything comes in tiny portions, probably to prevent food waste. One downside was that the hotpot took a while to boil. I think I waited nearly 10 mins on the highest setting (P6). Another one is that the vegetable options are super limited - there's only Napa, broccoli, and corn. The conveyor belt also lacks covers for each individual plate, which felt a bit unsanitary after the whole pandemic experience.

Love this place! Food is great but it can get crowded so be prepared to wait. If I were you, I'd ONLY sit in Jenn's section she's the bestttttt! 10/10 would recommend! Hopefully her bosses see this and give her a raise/promotion or both!

Good hot pot and kbbq place! When we got here about 6.15pm today (Friday), it was pretty busy already. Lucky there's a waiting lounge so it made it easier to kill time. Food wise it's really good and you get a lot for $37 something a pp. I like the Tom yum base and my bf loves his house spicy base. I think the kalbi is really good here and encourage you to get it. If you want amazing service, ask for Billy! He is literally the best- water always filled, so funny and polite, ready to make sure you have a good meal!

Food and service was phenomenal! We all had hotpot and Korean bbq. We loved the meats but also the rotating conveyor belt with other sides. This place is spot on! It was worth the long wait!

Quantity over Quality Fun for a group in a loud and packed atmosphere. AYCE Hot Pot and/or Korean BBQ. Our party tried the BBQ and walked away disappointed. The selection of meet was limited compared to like business. While the octopus, squid, and beef bulgogi was good along with the salmon. The steak, pork bulgogi, and a few others were not memorable. The service was fast and our server offered up suggestions and steered us away from anything chicken. Good call! No complaints. While we won't go back for the BBQ based on better experiences within a reasonable drive, we do want to try the Hot Pot.

My son's girlfriend is Asian and she really enjoys this restaurant. I have been there twice and have been very satisfied with my meal both times. The thai style broth was tasty and the servings have been generous. The bbq bulgogi is great.They have good chicken wings and attentive service. Overall it is a large well managed restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great food and fast service a little longer wait on the weekends. Make sure you arrive before noon on Sunday.

Finally got around to trying this place. I've driven past it a few times and a friend suggested we go. Wait time was about an hour on a Sunday at 6:30. Not too bad in my opinion because it was definitely packed in there. I've never done hot pot yet and was super excited for it. The waitress gave us a good rundown of the menu and we selected our options. I went with the spicy Thai broth and I got pork belly as my hot pot meat. For my K bbq I went with beef finger short ribs as my first meat. The revolving belt of other foods that come by are free to grab anything you want to add to your hot pot. I loved this idea. Only thing that sucked was there was a lot of things that I didn't know exactly what they were and they weren't labeled. However, that had a great selection. I got shrimp, blue crabs, two type of noodles, mussels, various veggies, and other toppings from the revolving foods. They also have a sauce bar with hot items at the end such as, crab Rangoons, steamed snow crab, chicken nuggets and other items. There were so many different sauce choices I didn't know what to pick. This is also a place you need to come to hungry, I made the mistake of eating a big lunch before I came here and next time I'll come empty because it was so much food that I felt I didn't even make a dent in it. My hot pot was so delicious. I loved all the options I chose. They do not do Togo as many places as this don't and they will charge you if your order up a bunch of meats and don't cook them. We didn't finish all of our food but we didn't cook it all and tried our best to finish so we weren't charged for that. Also there is a 90 min limit on the hot pot which is more than enough time of course. I really loved everything I tried and I can see why this place was so packed. Cant wait for round two here.

Really good ambiance. Fast service. Herbal chicken broth was the bomb. I prefer flavoring the soup with some cilantro and gochujang from the sauce section

This is my favorite Hot pot place. The kids get a kick out of the conveyor belt of items that you can add to your hot pot. The best deal is to go during the week for lunch. We decided to go on a Saturday for dinner and it was super busy. One round of meat was enough to feed us 3. They also offer rice. The cool thing is their buffet area that serves various items like chicken wings, snow crab legs along with dipping sauces to create your perfect sauce.

Second time in this place but we went for lunch which has a good deal $19 for hot pot and add $5 for the korean bbq. I got the spicy thai soup which was delish. I mixed some quail eggs , fish balls, mushroom , toro meat and tendon! For the bbq we got pork jowl and the rib finger. The hubby made some dipping sauce from the bar and it complemented all the meat and fishballs. At a separate bar you make your sauce and you also have some dessert. I tried the tea like dessert with jelly and red beans. The service was ok , i was thinking it would be faster compared to the first time we had visited. Good thing there were only quite a few tables filled at 3 pm so even if the service was a bit slow it was ok.

My sister and I came here for an early dinner. This place is very busy and has a waiting list , so next time we chose a Korean bbq with hot pot in this area, we will choose to come here but we'll sign up for the waiting list on line. The food here is delicious and fresh. So yes it was worth getting on a waiting list. It's definitely an experience. To me this place gave off a club vibe . Music, atmosphere waiting area and bar. The tables have stove top heating elements for the hot pot and the center has a round grill to bbq your meats. On the side of the table is a conveyor belt of different veggies and seafoods to add to your hot pot. The wait staff is very attentive, they are available for extra meats for the grill and keep your water glass full.

The food was good and the service was excellent. The big problem was that there was only one grill for eight of us. That's slowed things down quite a bit for grilled food. Another issue was that the grilled food was a little thicker than I'm used to so it took a bit longer to cook. I have been to other Korean restaurants with meat was cut very thinly, which made it a little easier to cook adequately

i love coming here with my family whenever we get the chance. the conveyor belt brings around all the toppings for my hotpot which is super convenient and very cool! i usually like to get the spicy thai (i believe) for my hot pot flavor. the korean barbecue meat is also very delicious as well! there are no reservations and the wait time could reach past an hour and a half, so go early.

Love this place! I prefer hotpot, my husband prefers kbbq so we negotiate and get both! Doing both is only $5 more. On a Saturday dinner it was $35 each person for AYC kbbq and hot pot. It was so busy and we waitied a good 30minutes. Incredibly, the staff is still quick and helpful. You can make your own sauce at the sauce bar and there's a conveyor belt to grab all the veggies or noodles you want so food is readily available! I got the Thai soup and my husband got the pork soup. Both of us enjoyed what we got and left verrryyy satisfied. The restaurant is large, open, and has a nice bar

I finally was able to try this place out and I was shocked at how large of a restaurant this is! There were rows and rows of booths with the revolving plates for hot pot going around. It feels contemporary without going overboard. Clean and sleek. We were sat toward the middle and the table fit 4 people comfortably. I loved that the tables weren't crazy big considering it has to accommodate 4 individual hot pots and a kbbq grill plate. I felt like I could have a normal conversation instead of shouting and standing just to reach the grill. The meat was fresh and tasty. The meat was fresh and a good portion. They weren't skimping out on you. You can choose just hot pot or just bbq and for $5 more you can do both. The hotpot ingredients are on the conveyor belt so you can grab as much as you can eat.

This place is awesome! The meat and vegitebles are super fresh, no doubt about it. It's like they have a system set up so everything comes out to you right away. Definitely a great spot if you want quality and speed!

My family went to Seapot in Plano for some hotpot on a chilly day. Even though we had a party of 16, we came early enough to get seated before the rush. They have a revolving belt that comes with plates of veggies, dumplings, noodles, and other sides to put into your hotpot. You get an individual pot here and I got their miso soup base. They have a sauce bar to create your own dipping sauce as well as some appetizers. This place is all you can eat so you just order meat and they'll bring it out to you. My favorite meat was the beef toro. If you like your meat with some fat, this one is very good. I thought the rest of the meat was just ok. My table was near the very end of the revolving belt so most of the items were gone, so that sucked. I really liked their dessert, I got some coffee/milk tea jelly with some grass jelly and added some red bean and sesame seeds, it was very refreshing.

Fantastic experience. The broth options give something for everyone. Service is spot on as well. I've just had the hot pot as adding bbq to it seems like too much for me to eat. Definitely a repeat customer.
