"Feijoada is often referred to as the national dish of Brazil, and it is especially popular in Rio de Janeiro. This stew is made with black beans, a variety of different cuts of pork or beef (ears, tail, feet, tongue, and various salted meats, like bacon, sausages, and jerky), vegetables, plantains, carrots, and cassava. Its makeup differs from region to region. At Sabor de Minas, the dish is best served with garlicky rice and a can of Guaraná Antarctica, a popular soft drink in Brazil. Sabor de Minas Restaurant is open for indoor dining, takeout, and delivery." - Tommy Ranucci

I just ordered the daily special and the portion was massive! It’s my first time trying Brazilian food that was not a steakhouse. I have to say this is way better. The pork was tender and goes so well with the beans. The little pickled berries gives a bit of spice and sourness. It was amazing.

I ordered it once and it came without the drink, today I ordered it and it came without meat, the food is great but the service is horrible I tried to call many times and no one answers the phone

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service and food at this place. If you’re looking for good food, this is it ! Highly recommend

Google
Cozy casual place, genuine fresh home-cooked food with heart, rotating “plates of the day” menu, amazing and kind staff. Very authentic brazilian food. Standouts were Feijoada and Tilapia for me, but honestly everything is good. If you’re not brazilian just order the plate of the day with all the sides and fix-ins. They also serve steak and caramelized onions as a main dish every day if you like. 10/10 recommend!

Google
Sabor de Minas restaurant has so much potential, I have been ordering from them for years! However, they need to step up their game with flavor, variety on those to go box. There are plenty of Brazilian restaurants in Milford that offer the bare minimum of (flavor, variety and decent portion sizes) for less than what SDM charges. Now I have to eat my flavorless steak with simply rice and beans because you don’t offer a side of mashed potatoes, salad or a simple farofa as a side!

I really love their food, but unfortunately this made me upset. I ordered Sabor de Minas through DoorDash at 9:00pm. (They take orders until 9:30pm.) I waited for a while and they weren't confirming my order. 15-20 minutes passed by and my DoorDasher was already at the store waiting for my food. Another 5 minutes pass by and I get a text saying my order was cancelled because the store is closing. That was a lie because they close at 10:00pm. (It was not even 9:30 yet.) They cancelled because they were lazy and wanted to close early even though they still had customers. I really love their food, but this is unacceptable and my whole family was hungry waiting for food. (I also don't like doing reviews and only do them if necessary.)

Yelp
I had the food there before and it was good. But they have "meat of the day" on the menu, the first time they send fish, which I really don't like. So I've been trying to check with the restaurant what would be the meats todays I have called more than 5 times with no luck. They need to improve that or post on their website what is the meat of the day.

Yelp
Ordered delivery and the food came very quickly! Overall, food was really solid. I ordered the large meal. The chicken had a great flavor but a bit dry. I'll probably order a different meat next time. Large portion sizes and great prices. I definitely recommend for those looking for a quick and tasty bite!

Yelp
Sabor De Minas 240 Howard st No website, can order through all the usual apps. So I've legit driven by this restaurant every day for the last 4 years, I've walked by it almost as much. First off the two older women working didn't speak English, not to worry three customers were there to help me through this. The menu board wasn't working and they don't have printed menus. Also FYI their menus across the apps are not consistent either. Regardless thanks to my new friends I chose what to order and decided to stay there to eat. Not much seating but a very small cozy place to enjoy a meal. *Bife Acebolado - Beef and Onions, large. Wow! Seasoned exceptionally well both the steak and onions. I believe they murdered a cow just for my meal as it was three very large thin steaks with a good sized onion. It was to die for. I could eat that every day and not get sick of it, it stayed moist the entire time as well adding to the savory satisfaction. *Beans, Rice and Pasta - this comes with the large dinner, yes I got two plates for my one dinner. Someone must be thinking I lost too much weight these last few months. Beans and rice have something I can't put my finger on but I'm going to declare them the best beans and rice in the city, meet me at the flag pole at 3 if you wanna fight about it. The pasta as well had a familiar flavor but it's not what I'm thinking. Very much a Goya Adobo red top flavor, if you don't know what I'm talking about you need some culture and Puerto Rican neighbors. I know it's their blend of seasoning but that's what it reminded me of and then the coarse chopped pork belly in with it. Italians done pasta wrong Sabor De Minas can teach them a thing or two. The other stuff on the plate is cabbage which was neither here nor there I mixed with just about everything. *Pastel De Carne - ground beef deep fried almost empanada. I do believe they are using crack oil to deep fry this. They could have just handed me the fried dough and I wouldn't have complained at all. The ground beef was nice but needed more to it, I used the no name orange hot sauce they had. I didn't even finish half of what I ordered so I have enough for two more meals at least out of this. As you can see from the price this place is a legit local gem. Since I left I've been debating and I'm going to say that I now have a new favorite restaurant in the city. Between the price and food this is going to be hard to beat. As I sat there enjoying my dinner watching the local community come in and out and chat with the ladies I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. It felt like this was that small hometown place where everyone goes on Friday and gets a great meal at a great price. I'm beyond surprised at this place and like I said it's my new favorite so I guess I need to get back on Babel and start up those Portuguese lessons again!

Yelp
Great place that can easily go unnoticed because of its location. Very small on a corner but very good homemade food. I found food to be tasty. Price reasonable too. Try also their brazilian burgers. They have a special dish everyday of the week, just call and find out.
