Best tiramisu I’ve had in my life 😭 Perfect balance of all the flavors and textures - sweet, creamy, melt in your mouth. Both the classic and hojicha tiramisu are insanely good. Their cakes are beautifully presented and always have the most complex combination of flavors. Very pricey though but worth having every once in a while as a treat.

Google
O.M.G. This has got to be the best dessert shop in Montreal. Just at first glance at the cakes/mini cakes you can tell the amount of love and effort has gone into these beautiful works of art. Nothing is overly sweat, and everything is oh so fresh. If we were not just visitors, we would come back to try every dessert on the menu. Lots of options to choose from including some baked goods. Frozen options available too and ice cream - we did not get to try but I can just tell it will be good. Very friendly staff and owner. A total pleasure to have come across this gem. Ambiance is perfect too and totally worth the $.

I’ve tried to eat here many times and never had success. It was worth the wait! The ice cream was absolutely delicious. The service as fantastic and I even brought some treats home with me. So good. I went back a week later when I saw they had a new flavour of ice cream. I don’t eat dairy. So this was a real pleasure! The gentleman answer my 1000 questions, which I appreciated. Don’t be like me. Check their opening hours before the trek!

Google
this is THE BEST desert shop in Montréal! i found out about this place a couple of years ago and i’ve been in love ever since, never tried cakes like these before. The cakes are not only DELICIOUS but incredibly BEAUTIFUL, i swear god this girl is SO TALENTED! ♥️ i seriously encourage people to go try it!

I passed by the cafe a few weeks ago for their vegan desserts. But unfortunately everything we ordered (carrot cake and a cinnamon roll) was dry and stale except for this lemon coconut dessert (which was alright overall). The chai latte was decent but that café latte was way too strong and bitter. The café itself felt a little cluttered and has pawn shop vibes (old cups and plates, wobbly tables, etc).

Tried the earl gray and orange cake. Beautiful and very tasty cake. You can taste the high quality ingredients. A must try before they close down!

Google
Ice cream tastes more like sorbet but I like the flavor this week:) nice tea and peach ginger mix party

Google
This bakery hasn't blown up to become as popular as the biggest bakeries in Montreal yet but it should. The desserts and pastries are so yummy and innovative. There's a different weekly soft serve flavour available, and the flavour I tried included sorbet; I despise sorbet and this is the only time I've ever enjoyed having sorbet.

Yelp
Cute shop that I've been intermittently following from afar on their socials. We stopped in to pick up some dessert for later (we'd just stuffed ourselves at Le Passé Composé), so no soft serve for us, but we ordered the salted caramel cheesecake, the sesame pie, the hojicha tiramisu, and the fig cookies. Service was friendly and efficient. As for the goods themselves... sigh. Everything was very pretty visually (Japanese-inspired for sure), but too sweet overall for my tastes. I was expecting the toned-down sugar levels that I expect from Asian sweets, and was disappointed to find that Sachère Desserts' insides don't quite match their outsides, so to speak. The hojicha tiramisu was the one exception - the sweetness level was toned down, which allowed the roasted bitterness of the tea to really shine.

Yelp
Checked out Sachère Desserts for their weekly rotating soft serve twist. It's an Asian inspired cake and pastry shop that's a stone's throw away from La Passé Composé. We dropped in on a Thursday afternoon (around 3:15pm). It's small inside but holy crap, it was hotter than a boiler's room. Zero ventilation. Didn't find service the friendliest. That being said, they have some beautiful looking pastries (mango and jasmine pavlova caught my eye) in the $4.00 to $9.00 range. Pints are pricey at $16.00 (500mL) but there's some really interesting flavour combinations. - Vegan passion fruit & cantaloupe sorbet twist ($5.50) - twist came with a thin piece of vegan passion fruit chocolate. Both sorbet flavours were bright and refreshing. It's a tiny portion so you aren't getting value here but the quality is good. Watch out as it melts quickly. On the fence whether I'd go out of my way to come back to SD. 3.5 stars.

Yelp
Sachère Desserts is another spot we visited for soft serve. They do a lot Asian flavours and have an interesting variety of pastries and cakes. Some things, not all, are gluten free and/or vegan. We shared a vegan passion fruit and cantaloupe sorbet twist ($6.50). Flavours were refreshing but wow, is it ever a minuscule swirl. Didn't help that it was brutally hot sitting inside. Don't think Sachère is a must return.

Yelp
I came here as I wanted to taste their ice cream flavor of the week, black sesame and passion fruit. They have gluten-free, vegan options but not many that are both (brownies, granola, ice cream, popsicle). I would appreciate it if they had vegan and gluten-free cakes.

Yelp
I selected Sachere desserts based on their instagram pictures and the few reviews on Yelp. We were celebrating a milestone BD in Montreal and wanted to find a special place to order a cake. To make a long story short: I ordered a cake to be delivered to my hotel (that was on time). The cake arrived lopsided (literally like a leaning tower of Pisa), there were barely any raspberries as part of decoration and generally speaking the cake was ok, but nothing special. I am kind of sad that I trusted a place with only 11 reviews. I won't be able to create another BD experience so no reason to complain here. I just want to warn others - do not order BD cakes here, maybe other desserts are better.... Sad...

Yelp
I struggled a lot before deciding to write this review. Honestly, I love Sachere's desserts. The Hojicha Tiramisu is my favourite- it's light yet heavenly creamy and it's so smart to replace the traditional coffee flavour with a strong black tea. I wish I could have it for breakfast every morning! My problem is with their customer service. I know that due to Covid they had to cut their staff down to the co-owners only. It's hard to run a successful business with so little staff, I get it. But in the end I don't feel like I deserved the poor service I got and I hope this review will help them iron out a few kinks. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday through their website. The confirmation email said I should pick it up at 10am on a Saturday so I showed up at 10:45am but found out their shop only opened at 11am. The pastry chef wanted me to wait outside in the cold even though I was told to show up early but in the end the other co-owner let me in. So already I was a bit miffed. Once I brought my cake home I realized there was no inscription. That's strange because I had reserved the cake a week in advance and had specified the inscription I wanted. I knew they had seen it because they had highlighted it on the order form. I called and was simply told that there was no space to write anything on my custom cake. That's fine, but why couldn't they let me know earlier? I spent $100 on this cake, I find it ridiculous they couldn't at the very least include a plaque and worst of all they didn't want to take any accountability for it, no real apologies were given or acknowledgment that it was a miscommunication on their end. I so want to support Sacheres- their desserts are a delight and the co-owner who serves me is usually very nice. I just really felt like they took my support for granted and hope they take this as constructive criticism and make improvements that could benefit their entire clientele.

Yelp
I had the chance to try their limited heart shape cake for valentine's Day. It was a chocolate caramel cake. It was amazing. There was a thin layer of hard caramel on top of the cake and it added a nice texture to it! And the caramel inside the cake was goey and delicious. The only thing i might say i didn't like was that it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think the icing was a bit too sugary. However, the cake itself was super good. It was extremely moist (which is something i look for in a cake) and very tasty. The staff i met was so nice and welcoming! I highly recommend going there and try their pastry! P.s. the local is super cute!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Sachère Desserts ever since they blew up on instagram this past summer. I was finally in the area so I took the opportunity to pickup a selection of desserts to bring home. The shop is very lovely and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They have an online platform to place orders but they also have a good selection in store if you dont order ahead online. I ordered their caramel cheesecake, passionfruit flan, banana chocolate tart, pistacchio tart and hojicha tiramisu, which is a japanese tea that tastes like coffee. They also have many GF (intolerant only) and vegan options and they are still offering pints of sorbets. Their flan was my absolute favorite dessert, I definitely want to go back and order the pack of 4 flan flavors! I also really enjoyed the hojicha tiramisu, the flavor was really similar to coffee but their is still a subtle difference that makes the dessert very unique!

Yelp
The beautiful mix of vivid flavours reflects the unique decor perfectly at @sacheredesserts. This particular twist of the week has already ended (for the second time this year) but the quality of the ice cream itself would be amazing with any of the uncommon and creative flavours imagined here. Incredibly, surprisingly refreshing (especially on this day at 40°C) ice cream on a deliciously fresh waffle cone.

Yelp
Delicious and creative desserts. I tried the hojicha tiramisu and the 4 flavors of flan. The tiramisu was perfectly sweet and had a strong hojicha taste. The flan's flavors were passion fruit, pistachio, blueberry and rasberry. They were all very good. Their system during covid is great. You can order and pay on their website and they will give you a pick up time.

Yelp
I live for the mini vegan babkas! And by mini I actually mean maxxed enough to fill my heart and compliment their delicious coffee! Plenty of vegan options and more, so grateful they exist!

Yelp
An amazing pastry shop in the Gay Village! The owners are super friendly and the variety of desserts that they have is incredible! During summer, they serve ice cream and the flavor rotates every week! They also have delicious fruit tarts that they make everyday and the flavors change depending on what's in season! For cakes, if you order online, you can easily choose which flavors you want and also customize it to your liking. People often don't know, but Sachère caters to a lot of cafés in Montreal. You might have had their pastries and cakes without even knowing that it comes from them! I highly recommend you come try this place A.S.A.P.

Yelp
I love this place. Always creative and surprising flavours. The ice cream is top notch and you dont have to wait in line with the whole neighbourhood to get it (maybe I should stop advertising them). The cakes I got from them are always creative and flavourful without being cloying. Always a few vegan or GF options. Nice staff too.

Yelp
Sooo good!! I stopped in after hearing about their soft serve that changes weekly and I just had to have it. The place is very welcoming and aside from the soft serve they have a fridge filled with desserts to go in single and double servings (in jars and single pieces of cheesecake ). They also have many vegan options in a case in front of squares and scones. I grabbed a chocolate mousse for a rainy day and a soft serve of the week to go. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. I saw online you can order full cakes in advance and if what I had is any sign I'm sure they are delicious! I will be back!

Yelp
This place is amazing! A little off the beaten path, yet a merely a block away from the Beaudry metro station, this little pastry (and ice cream!) shop is a relaxing oasis of baked goods. There's a table to sit at, as well as a cosy yet spacious window nook. I was particularly impressed by the selection, including vegan and gluten free options. I went with one thing in mind: ice cream!!! The flavors change from time to time, and right now it's Pina colada inspired. It was so good! And even better, it was vegan! That's music to ears! The baked goods looked amazing, it was hard to restrain myself! I will definitely have to return.

Yelp
Love their cakes in a jar. Perfect balance. Not too sweet. Have tried matcha tiramisu, Black Forest, vegan carrot cake, strawberry cheesecake, and brownie fudge cake. All were delicious!! They have vegan and gluten-free options.
