SACHI.LA somehow harmonizes eloquent design, outstanding drinks, kindness, community, attention to detail, style, variety, every single day. Catching lightning in a bottle is no easy feat. Sort of like a pro athlete making the sport look easy, SACHI.LA team does the same with the customer experience. East siders, this spot is worth the schlep. Everyone else whether local or visiting stop by. This spot has been the best third space for me for two years. Ok final note, the sisters who own and design the space are hands down cooler than 90% of the people I have ever met.

CUTEST coffee shop on the westside w/the most friendly staff and owners :) amazing coffees & matcha - plus a few pastry options! They also have sachi.goods shop attached to it w/so many cute plants for sell & great vintage clothing!

Stopped by after an appointment. Very cute space with ample seating in the back. Staff was so friendly and kind. Made me feel very welcomed. Even a small table for kids in the back. I didn’t order a coffee, but the matcha latte was wonderful.

Really friendly staff! They turned the alley area into a bit of seating and then they’ve maximized the inside space, adding a decent amount of seating for a smaller shop. They seem to allow small dogs inside which can be a positive or a negative depending on your perspective and the dogs in question (I saw a cute, chill frenchie and a less chill, more barky chihuahua). I had a matcha latte which was nice and a jalapeño za’atar pastry which was also good. Prices are what I expected from a cute west side shop (which is to say $7.25 for an oat matcha latte). Not cheap, but you know what you’re getting into going to nice coffee shop. I live close by and pass this shop all the time and it’s usually pretty busy, but I went at opening on a cold, misty Saturday, and it was pretty mellow for the first hour of the morning!

I stopped by the coffee shop on my way out of town and discovered that it was also a place for buying unique plants and really nice clothes. It's a spacious, well organized and clean dual store. The staff are young and super friendly. The croissant was absolutely light and delicious and buttery. The cappuccino was well made and had a smooth bright flavor. The store is easy to find and there are places to sit outside behind the store as well. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Really enjoyed my coffee.

I had a vanilla late and a artichoke danish. First of all the sweetness of the vanilla kicks in for the first drip of sugar high in the morning following with a sensational Ethiopian medium roast coffee, a bite of so creamy artichoke danish blends in perfectly in such comforting space, inspiration fires in this space.

I came to Sachi several times and have to leave a review. The relaxed atmosphere of the café with outdoor seating together with the little shop makes me go there every time. The staff is friendly, drinks are great and they have plenty of good pastry options. Even a good place if you want to work a little bit on your laptop.

the vibes here are relaxing and serene. the plants create a comforting feel to the interior and the staff were not only friendly to customers but seemed to get along with each other well. the matcha latte was such a beautiful green. just the loveliest froth to it with a great balance of that earthy matcha flavor i so adore. they have a few small tables for seating and a plant/thrift store on the other side of the cafe. tons of cute goods to purchase as well as matcha tools and supplies. the back patio is small and wide open but still has a nice feel to it. please do yourself a favor and try this place out! you won't regret it.

In honor of Women's History Month and to celebrate women-owned businesses in general, I hereby offer up my review update for SACHI.LA. Going back to January of 2018 (actually before but that's when I started taking pictures) I noticed that a new coffee business was going in just North of Culver Blvd on Centinela. From the beginning, I could see that it was going to take a while. There weren't any big construction crews. Just some people doing it a little bit at a time. And It wasn't going to be very big but the independent coffee scene on the West Side was pretty bleak back then. You have to understand that any new additions were highly anticipated. Started by two sisters, Sachi and Chiyo, it has been quite a journey for SACHI.LA. Eventually opening in September of 2018, they had just enough time to become established before covid hit. They did an amazing job following all the protocols to keep everyone safe but still managed to keep the vibe 100% SACHI.LA. This meant a great deal to the local community that had come to depend on them. After successfully surviving covid, they have now gone through an expansion that has transitioned them into kind of a lifestyle brand. As well as continuing to satisfy all of their loyal coffee lovers, along with all of their other well curated merch, they have added clothing (new & vintage) and an amazing selection of house plants (and related items). This involved taking over the space next door, at least doubling their size. When you need a special last minute gift, they are very likely to have something that will work perfectly. Be sure to check their hours as they close a little early at 2PM. If you have never been to SACHI.LA before or if you haven't visited in a while, go check them out. In a way, I think it's still a work in progress but honestly, that's just the way it should be;)

Plants, coffee, and a seriously cool vibe? Yes, please. Sachi LA checks all my boxes. From the moment you walk in, the space feels warm, relaxed, and thoughtfully designed. The interior is filled with gorgeous greenery--tables covered in houseplants, shelves lined with pots, and trailing vines that make the whole place feel like a little urban jungle. The aesthetic is calm and modern with natural wood, soft lighting, and unique decorative touches that make it a great place to sit, sip, and just enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly, which always makes a difference. Service felt genuine and easygoing, and the coffee itself was top notch. Whether you're stopping in for a quick caffeine fix or planning to hang out for a bit, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Seating options are another big plus. There's comfortable indoor seating as well as a covered outdoor area if you want some fresh air while you drink your coffee. It's an ideal spot to meet friends, catch up on emails, or just relax with a good drink surrounded by plants. Parking is also pretty convenient for the area. There's a small lot in the back and plenty of street parking nearby, which makes visiting a lot easier. Between the great coffee, welcoming staff, and the plant-filled atmosphere, Sachi LA is definitely becoming my new go-to spot.

This place is super great. They have an outdoor patio with plenty of seating and delicious looking pastries. I got the earl grey lavender matcha, which was really tasty and the match combo with earl grey was really unique. Cold brew was decent. Staff was super friendly!

Love the plant and coffee mix up, welcoming ambiance. Just tough to find parking, but their coffee and matcha are worth it. Sweet customer service too.

Ambiance: it's cozy and equipped with a lot of green plants inside, they also have an outdoor patio converted from rear parking lot. Unfortunately bad experience overall, and it's such a waste for the vibe Service: no service with terrible attitude, and I wish I didn't tip. After placing the order, I asked can I get a cup of water for the dog since it's a hot day, and the barista said there's a bowl for dogs, I went to check right away, the water bowl next to the rear door was empty and so dry, there wasn't any water for dogs to drink and they didn't refill it for a long time. When I tried to get water for human to drink later, the self serving water barrel was empty too. I had to ask them to refill more than once, which shouldn't be my job in the first place, but apparently they couldn't care less Drink: simple menu with few store specials, they made mistake with one order and couldn't fix it properly, you either get a full cup of ice or only 70% cup filled if you ask for light ice sachi special - * vanilla cold brew, the taste was bad matcha latte - ** light and watery taste Price: steeply overpriced for the poor quality, totally not worth $8+ per drink, let alone the milk they used wasn't fresh and caused stomach problem afterwards

After several years, this is still one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and good wifi if you're wanting to do laptop work. The indoor seating can be a bit busy depending on the time - I came at 8:30 on a weekday morning and all the tables were full, so I snagged a counter seat by the window. Staff are always kind. For straight, unsweetened matcha, this is my favorite place on the west side. Coffees are also always perfectly made with latte art.

One star. The place is honestly so cute, tons of plants and a really cozy aesthetic. I was excited to try it. I ordered a matcha and it was $8.25 and it was genuinely one of the worst matchas I've had. It tasted like straight up water, like barely any matcha flavor at all. Super diluted and just flat. I thought about asking them to fix it but it felt so far gone that I didn't even bother. For that price, I expect at least a strong, solid matcha base. The vibe is adorable but the drink just did not deliver at all. Wouldn't come back for the matcha

I stopped by this place quickly searching as I exited the fwy. And did I walk into a gem! A coffee shop connected to a vintage/plant/ kitschy/clothing store? Okay the owner is living my dream. I got the earl grey lavender matcha & matcha tonic. Both were very good! I also scored in the discount bin next door on some "vintage" American apparel shorts. I've already told my friends all about it so, yes would recommend!

Love the plants inside! The coffee and tea was okay, but I really loved the decor inside. Lots of wonderful plants and items to look at.

Parking sucks but the drinks don't!!!!! When I went, it was difficult to find a parking spot. I parked somewhat far and walked but it was a nice day. The drink was so good, it was fine. Lol. : ) Friendly service. Yummy drinks.

Solid matcha spot! Came by here on a Saturday morning to start the day. It's located on Centinela but there's some good street parking available. It's actually a cafe and store connected. The store side has records, plants, pottery, and clothes. It has cute gift items like candles and cards as well. The cafe side has a few seatings spots inside and a lot more spots outside in the back. Dogs are allowed in the inside and outside spaces. I ordered a classic iced matcha latte, smallest size ($6). It was pretty good! Nothing too memorable but not bad either. The service was great! Just order at the counter and wait for your drinks. Bright vibe inside and the back seating outside with some good music. Overall great vibe for a morning coffee or matcha!

If you are looking for a simple matcha then this is the spot. No fluff just straight good matcha. They also have coffees and other caffeinated drinks. And I love that they use organic milk by default but they got milk alternatives as well. And their pastries are to die for. There's lots of gluten free options as well. I got their Citrus olive oil cake and it was perfection. Perfectly moist, just enough sweetness, and total delicious. Shoutout to the guy behind the counter for recommending it. Oh and they have a cute little shop connect to it. I spent some time hanging out there for awhile. Great vibes.

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience. I get matcha from cafes almost every day, and this was unfortunately one of the worst matchas I've had. The drink is very bitter and not enjoyable. What disappointed me more was the service. The girl who took my order didn't inform me that the drink comes unsweetened and didn't ask if I wanted it sweetened. At most cafes I've been to, they always clarify this. I've had unsweetened matcha and it was still enjoyable but not this one, their matcha tasted bad. When I got my drink and tasted it, I asked for sweetener to see if that can help but even with the sweetener the worker put, it still tasted bad. She also didn't ask if I wanted my food warmed up, which is something I'm typically offered at every cafe I go to. The place itself is cute and has a nice aesthetic, but overall my experience wasn't great. I hope they can improve their customer service and communication moving forward.

So cute inside the best vibes ever, jazz, concrete floors, wood accents. The maca caramel latte with oatmilk was so good!!!!! And the matcha was good too. Totally would come back

This coffee shop is a neighborhood gem! Ive been coming here for a few years now and always love how consistent the coffee quality is. All the baristas are friendly, the atmosphere is very cozy. Would highly recommend coming here for a coffee (matcha too) and browsing their store that is on the other side.

I found myself here on my way home from LAX. It's close to freeway exit. I needed a few minutes to send a couple emails and have an afternoon strawberry matcha. All the Yelp reviewers here have mentioned what I experienced: super cozy space, well-made drinks (my matcha had bits of freeze-dried strawberry which was a nice touch) and decent outdoor seating. With the cool plant/clothing store next door, this place is definitely a good vibe.

This is coffee house is so LA! It has such a cute vibe and it's not only a coffee place, it moonlights as a vintage clothing, plant place. It smells amazing, it's inviting, it's super cool and the employees are super sweet and helpful. It's a great place to go for coffee and to purchase original gifts! The coffee was delicious and the food was yummy! Loved it!!!

I arrived shortly after 8 AM when they open and was greeted by some really kind baristas. I ordered a honey cinnamon latte and the masala chai latte and an almond croissant. Everything was delicious and while I waited, I toured the little attached plant shop and boutique was so surprised at how beautiful and cute and also large this place is. I will definitely come back to work, shop, and to enjoy. And apparently there is parking in the back.

coworkers and i love this cute matcha shop in playa. they have lots of super delicious drinks such as matcha lemonade if you're feeling a bit light, strawberry matcha if you got the sweet tooth, and traditional matcha latte for the LA gorliessss. cute patio out back with some shade and furniture. love hanging out here and also browsing the small store which has plants, thrifted clothing, little craft decor pieces, amazing smelling candles, and more. a nice place to get away from work for a bit ;)

If you're ever looking for a coffee spot to call home base, this is it. Sachi has got to be one of my favorite spots. It's warm, inviting, there are plants to enjoy, plants to purchase, an incredible group of people who feel like they're always happy to see you, and awesome drinks. Try the strawberry matcha, you won't regret it (If you like matcha) Also, such an rad place to work from. Always tables inside but even better, enjoy the tables out back with free WiFi. Can't get any better. I know this sounds like an ad but it's not, I really just love this place And these people. Bonus points: they gave us life during the pandemic and had coffee delivered/for pick up, so they are a part of my heart. Feels like family.

Amazing drinks and muffin! I love the ambiance with the cute shop next door. There's also a small outdoor patio out the back of the shop that's in the parking lot but it's nice to chat there. The service was also super nice! This is more of a grab coffee go or sit and chat, but def not a study spot if you need good wifi and a plug for the students out there.

Their matcha quality is gooood! Not the best matcha I've ever had but definitely one of the better ones in LA. I love their Strawberry Matcha special. There isn't a lot of space or tables in the coffee shop itself but service was good, there was a decent amount of street parking on a weekday, and there's a cute connecting plant shop.

Clean upbeat coffee house in West LA/Mar Vista area. It features some gorgeous pastries and the coffee is super tasty. There's pretty good seating and the morning lighting hits in a way that makes it easy to read. There's also a store connected to the coffee shop that sells nicknacks. I'm curious about the store name's origin; I think it's because it sells matcha and Asian themed gifts. I'll have to ask next time!

Chilled out Japanese themed cafe and clothing and plants in the shop connected. Music nice. Coffee matcha chai ect. Pastry type food Inside was already full at 9:00 am. Some seats outside in the front on the street. Small back patio seating area. I enjoy this place and apparently it is popular with others as well.

Another coffee shop GEM in the heart of Los Angeles! A tiny and cute cafe with tasty coffees and delicious pasteries. Connected to the coffee shop is the cuttest plant shop that sells cool house plants. The whole atmosphere makes you happy. Per nice barista's suggestion I tried their caramel latte (half sweet) which was delicious. One thing that stood out to me is that at least for their whole milk, they use THE BEST organic milk out there which is Clover Sonoma. This shows that they don't settle for those cheap milks that all other coffee shops use! I am gonna be going to this coffee shop whenever I am working in Marina Del Rey because as yelpers we need to support the businesses that deserve to be supported and this one for sure does! Parking can be challenging but you will find some. If you are in the area, check this place out!

Such a cute coffee shop!! I've had both an oat flat white and an oat iced vanilla latte, and both were delicious. The pastries are also great - I really enjoyed the olive oil cake. They also have clothes, plants, and records. There's street parking, which can be a bit difficult.

Sachi is a super cute place with an attached store to stop by on the weekend! The matcha lattes are solid, and the matcha itself has a subtle sweetness without an after bitter taste. I do wish they had more matcha in the larger drinks (felt like there was just more milk and that our lattes today were a little "watered" down compared to what we've had here before), and you should ask for it sweetened if you prefer it that way. As far as the pastries, our favorite has been the herb pastry! The spinach and artichoke one is ok, but the ham and cheese one is a little strange since all of the ham is wrapped up tightly in the bottom of the pastry. There's street parking around the corner of the shop, limited seating inside but lots of tables outside. We saw that they are promoting soba right now which looked so refreshing !

Super cute place, love the vibe here it's small and quaint. Lots of plants to buy and just around the shop. Theres outdoor and indoor seating and the shop in separate from the actual coffee shop but it's just separated by a wall. They shop has cool merch I'd honestly buy and vintage clothing on the rack which is worth looking at. The Japanese incense, matcha bowls and other Knick knacks are sooo cute but pricy, but great quality! The matcha was good, ceremonial grade with different options for sweetners. Definitely a chill little local spot

All the good reviews for Sachi are true! So happy I was able to finally visit. The coffee is excellent. The owners are so friendly & kind. It's obvious that love and thoughtfulness are the foundation of their business! Looking forward to my next coffee and shopping trip there!

First time having hojicha latte, and I must say it might b me my new go to drink. The staff were pretty friendly and the service was great.

A place for matcha and plant lovers? How LA does that sound. But I'd say they do it well. SACHI sources and gets their own matcha and hojicha tea powder from Japan and I do love their matcha here. As most coffee shops have capitalized on matcha and I'm unknown as to where they source it from, Sachi can be trusted! They're connected to a plant shop with cute local and small business finds -- pots, plants, stationary, tea goods, vinyl records, merchandise. It's a cozy and small spot tucked away on a busy street in West LA but it's a nice find. Whenever I have a craving for a good matcha or cup of coffee, I know Sachi's always on my list.

Excellent location for a good matcha and friendly service. The barista who helped us was very kind and welcoming. She instantly made us feel good about this spot and the quality matcha put us over the moon! We love exploring the city in search of a solid matcha and Sachi is one of the better locations within this area. Bonus: they have a store connected to them that's loaded with matcha gear, candles, kitchen accessories and more. A few small tables inside in the front and an outdoor patio in the back. Highly recommend!

Simple menu, but the maca carmel was one of the best iced lattes I've had. Cute spot too and loved taking a look at the shop connected to it.

We ordered the house special coffee and the iced matcha latte with oat milk. The house special was not my favorite very watery and not a good flavor 3/10 would not order again. The matcha was okay I liked that it was not too sweet but not a strong matcha 5/10. The ham and cheese croissant was pretty good very flaky and they toast it for you so it's nice and warm 8/10! Although the drinks are subpar I love the vibes and would come often just to browse. They recently had a pop up from a small bao company as well which was really fun! There are always cute dogs that come in because this place is so dog friendly they even have a jar of dog biscuits on the counter. They have a joint store attached that has some cool clothing pieces and a record store and a bunch of plants and various knickknacks, worth a browse. Parking has always been easy to find around the area.

I had driven past here a few times and then met someone who told me about what was inside and the spectacular pictures she painted was even better in person. #1 Great coffee , great service and a warm calming vibe inside with an added space of clothes and plants. Unique and recommended !

I take it back, one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. After it not really hitting the spot the first time, I came back and I tried a few more drinks..... and MY GOSH, thank goodness I did. SACHI's blend, flavors, & layers were all phenomenal, especially in their ceramic cups. By now, I have gone to SACHI over 10 times and have tried almost every hot drink item------- FAVORITE FROM BEST TO LEAST: * Maca Caramel Latte - MY ALL TIME FAVORITE. Not overly sweet. Has a beautiful balanced blend of a unique ''maca root" which comes across as a slightly sweet nutty flavor. The caramel was thankfully not overpowering. * earl gray Lavendar latte * cappuccino * masala chai latte - thankfully not a wake up spicy spice bomb but rather a smooth creamy milky blended spiced chai. I slightly like the "boy and the bear's" chai latte better though. * vanilla latte - yummy but straightforward. Good staple * matcha latte * honey cinnamon latte - still delicious but the honey flavor definitely shines through and I'm not a big fan of honey lattes. Very well balanced in flavor though * hojicha latte - extremely unique but I felt like it was more of a smooth blended hojicha when I really wanted a strong roasted green tea kick flavor * pumpkin spice latte - didn't care for this as much as it was heavily spiced but not bad at all Closed on Mondays *****

I wish I could give this seven stars to offset one star review for not having working wifi. The wifi was working great when I came here and I was very productive in tasks that I've put off for a long time. The coffee is wonderful and I had a savory pastry to go with it, a spinach artichoke danish which was delicious. The large drip is in fact large and well priced for the size. There's very cool and well curated shop next door with plants, gift items and clothes, and there's back patio too. Highly recommended!

Some friends from Seattle were coming down to LA for an event, so me and another friend drove up When I picked up my friends, we wanted to grab coffee before we went to Santa Monica and found this cute shop. It had lots of great reviews that we decided to check it out! It's located in between a liquor and market store and cannabis store (ReLeaf) on S Centinela Ave in Cypress Grove. Interesting location choice LOL. There is only street parking which could be difficult to find but luckily, I was able to score a spot right in front of the cafe! The cafe is connected to a plant shop which was very California vibes (honestly) as cafe goers could browse before or after. There were three main sections to their menu: basic coffee, housemade specials and tea. I got their Earl Grey Lavender Latte as the name kept calling me. It was a nice blend of earl grey and lavender together. Neither of the flavors clashed with one another which caught me off guard as the two were quite strong flavors! I did taste a stronger lavender flavor over the earl grey which was probably why it worked so well. Loved it! Very cute shop as it had a hint of Japanese culture in its architecture and design. I definitely want to come back to try their other housemade specials as they seem very interesting. But knowing me, I'd probably get the same drink again LOL.

Sachi.LA is a cute little café that also doubles as a nursery and gift shop. I stopped by while in the area to grab an iced matcha latte. Service was nice, and I appreciated the barista offering sweetener options (e.g. vanilla, simple syrup, agave) for the drink. The matcha drink was out within 10 minutes-- I found my matcha latte to be too milk-forward and I couldn't taste as much of the matcha as I'd wanted, but it was a decent pick-me-up while in the area. Glad I got to try it!

My favorite matcha on the west side! The coffee is decent as well. Being walking distance from work I come here frequently. They're connected to a cute plant shop/ record store / thrift shop? regardless it's a cute stop to get a cup of joe and a gift. The staff is super friendly too. My biggest issue with them is that they're closed Mondays. Ya know the day of the week I need caffeine more than ever. Other than that I'm a huge fan

We were in the area and craving a real coffee shop. A quick Google search and we found this very cute shop. Unfortunately, we arrived just before closing and didn't have enough time to peruse their wares. Attached to the coffee shop is a retail store that sells plants, clothes and records. It's quite eclectic, but it works. Their playlist added to the ambience. It' was a relaxing 15 minutes while we sipped our coffee. We ordered: Turmeric latte. It had a nice flavor. Not too overpowering Iced Earl Grey Lavender Latte. This is a weekend latte. Enjoy!

Friendly staff with very chill vibes inside. It shares space with a vintage clothing store and a record shop. I had high hopes for their matcha but unfortunately it missed the mark for me and tasted way too earthy. For now I may be better off with my homemade preps

Matcha is always on point. I only just get matcha here so can't speak for coffee. The record/trinket store next door connected to the coffee shop has some cute vintage goods and cute gifts!! Always love coming here when I'm sitting my friend's doggo. Outdoor patio is nice enough to chill for a little

Im not sure how this place landed on infatuations "best coffee shops to work from" because they dont even have working wifi. Not one of us in our group could get the wifi to work and it doesnt extend to their outdoor seating (which is the majority of their seating). We tried their sachi special and vanilla latte and both were unremarkable. For a place that charges nearly $7 a coffee, we'd rather go to starbucks because at least wed get wifi.
