First, the positive. The take-out pizza, Puttanesca (marinated tuna, tomato sauce, garlic, capers, and parmesan), is very tasty. It's Roman-style pizza, so it has a rectangular shape. Crisp crust, a great meshing of fresh ingredients. I ordered online (no telephone number to call) and picked it up about 30 minutes later. Sacro Bosco Pizza is the nighttime restaurant incarnation of Temple Pastries, so it has a sleek, stylish interior that works for an evening restaurant. The reason for a 4-star (vs. 5): The pizza is an okay size, but is a pricey $33. My wife only had one slice while my son and I easily devoured the remaining kind of on the small size, slices. When I got to the counter to pick it up, I asked the woman who was handing me the box if I could have some chili flakes, which I always have with my pizza. She said it costs $2 for some flakes, so I declined. I thought that's like ordering a hamburger and fries at a restaurant and being told that I would have to pay extra for ketchup. It's the first time, ever, that a pizza restaurant has wanted to charge me for chili flakes.
