"You can still feel the glamour that must have accompanied the opening of Saenger Theatre in 1927. "So, can you tell us a little about this place? You can still feel the glamour that must have accompanied the opening of Saenger Theatre in 1927. Although the capacity has been cut from 4,000 to 2,600, the grand venue is still one of the biggest theaters in town, with a performance hall modeled on an Italian baroque courtyard and overhead lighting that resembles a starry constellation. What sorts of shows does it put on?The venue hosts big events that still need a more intimate setting than a sports arena: touring Broadway shows, big-name comedians, and music groups that want to play at a legendary theater. You can also catch occasional classical concerts. How are the seats? The reduced capacity makes for a much more comfortable experience; even the more affordable seats in the back have decent views. Anything good for kids to see? There are plenty of kid-friendly performances—the theater is well-equipped to make smaller guests comfortable. What else stands out about this theater? In addition to the Saenger's striking interior—truly a sight to behold—there’s nowhere else in town where you can see major Broadway productions. Why would you recommend a visitor catch a show here? The Saenger delivers grand nights out that are perfect for a special occasion." - Paul Oswell

Yelp
Great venue, beautiful restoration. Nice acoustics as well. Came here for two shows with Bob Weir and the New Orleans Philharmonic, epic shows in an epic venue.

Yelp
Here's a concise breakdown of Ticketmaster's major issues: 1. Deceptive Fee Structure - Hidden "convenience fees" often exceeding 30% of ticket price - Multiple layered charges revealed only after significant time investment - Dynamic pricing that turns concerts into bidding wars 2. Monopolistic Control - 2010 Live Nation merger created unprecedented control over venues, promotion, and ticketing - Survived Pearl Jam's 1990s Congressional testimony challenge - Maintains iron grip on venue contracts despite public opposition 3. Anti-Consumer Practices - Forces account creation and data sharing - Mobile-only ticket system locks users into their ecosystem - "Verified Fan" program creates false sense of fairness while acting as lottery system 4. Artificial Scarcity Tactics - Reserves large ticket blocks for special programs and presales - Forces fans to join multiple presale programs and obtain specific credit cards - Profits twice through their own resale platform 5. Technical Failures - Major system crashes during high-demand events (like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour) - Deflects blame to "unprecedented demand" rather than addressing system inadequacies Despite lawsuits, investigations, and unified opposition from fans, musicians, and politicians, Ticketmaster continues these practices due to their market dominance.

Yelp
This is a very nice theater. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old timey theater. It's spacious. They have lots of bars so you don't have to wait too long for a drink. My only complaint is that all the snacks are packaged. I'd like to see some fresh popcorn or nachos.

Nicole D.

Yelp
Such a beautiful venue!!!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend coming here for a concert if you can. I was general admission in the balcony and could see perfectly! Perfect view. There are seats and each row is higher than the next so nobody will be blocking your view! The ceiling has stars it's so pretty!

Andrea H.

Yelp
It's a beautiful theater, but the lobby has accessibility problems. Once you arrive and get past security (no backpacks allowed), you enter a lovely lobby. However, the lobby is really narrow, and people waiting to get in the doors block where the halkways cross, and it's difficult to access the restrooms. There is nowhere to sit in the outer or inner lobby, other than a handful of chairs meants for employees. I'd recommend not arriving early unless you're okay with a lot of standing. Then, while waiting for the second set of doors to open, the fire alarm went off, and everyone had to evacuate. Once they resolved the issue, they put everyone in one giant line that wrapped around the block. Eventually, they allowed people who had already had their tickets scanned in via the side doors. Once we got in, the seats were good-sized and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Richard F.

Yelp
Beautiful theatre both in the lobby and in the seating area. Chairs that are comfortable and staff that were helpful in getting you to your seat.

Mark H.

Yelp
Went for Tesky Brothers. Sat to far right my uncle is quadriplegic and in a chair. For a sitting concert venue, people were standing most of the show causing us to not enjoy much of the show. I asked ushers to do something about, they said it is a possible standing venue. Know going in for any concert people will ruin it by standing in a seated venue. Isles are narrow hence we took end for handicapped and access. They allow standing in a seated venue be my last visit - beautiful place though

Yelp
Our family and friends love this theater!! We've seen concerts, Comedies, musicals, holiday shows, Cirque, etc. I don't think we've seen a production that we didn't like. This theater is beautiful!! It's comfortable and accommodating for any needs. They have good security before, during and after shows. Staff is nice but take their jobs seriously. My favorite things are the drinks available, playbills, Broadway shows and when they take your order at your seats! Tips: Have tickets ready or grab from box office (to left of front entrance). Be prepared to empty pockets, open purse and walk through detector. Get there early so that you have time to park, find your seats and get a drink. Buy souvenirs before show to avoid long line after. Dress as nice or casual as you want. We like to dress up a bit for musicals or holiday fun. All in all, if you've been thinking of going to this venue.....pick a show and go have fun!! It's definitely worth the experience.

Dean H.

Yelp
Fantastic venue for live music. I saw Samatha Fish and Jj Gray here during Jazz Fest and it was amazing. Great sound. Lots of places to get drinks / short lines. Amazing architecture!

Shelley H.

Yelp
I'm just in awwwww, this theatre is beautiful and it's small and cozy. We had great seats, which I don't think there's a bad seat in the building. The ushers were kind and helpful. The bartenders served us our drinks with a smile and very patient. We had a good night. Patti LaBelle gave us a show, she was amazing. At the end, they waste no time pushing you out them doors, First warning closing the doors on Canal St. Then we finally had to wait outside for our Lyft cause they were now closing the doors on Rampart side. One good thing about bring pushed outside to wait for your ride is you're not alone and the security guards stayed around. Thanks.

Yelp
The Saenger Theatre has been on FIYAH this Fall offering entertainment for all age groups! In the past few months I've visited three different times with my dad (Earth, Wind, and Fire), my cousin and aunte (The Lion King) and my five-year-old nieces (Disney Jr). This nearly 100 year old theater is a beautiful part of New Orleans history. From the Roman grandiose architecture, marble floors, and the star lined ceiling. You definitely step back in time walking into its doors. The venue is intimate yet perfect for all ages. The staff members are warm, welcoming, and friendly. A few tips: 1. Uber-- the parking is pricey, a hassle, and cost varies with each event. 2. Arrive 15-20mins before showtime! The shows start on time. Depending on the act the auditorium doors may be locked until after the first song or scene, etc.. 3. Order your drinks and snacks at your seat. I normally grab one drink first, then head directly to my seat, scan the QR code place my order, drink/snacks I'll be delivered to you before or during intermission. 4. Speaking of intermission, it only last 15 minutes and everyone in the theater simultaneously will have to go to the restroom (lol), beat the line by going to the lavatory a few minutes before intermission. Trust me there are three or four restrooms, and they all have massive lines. 5. This tip maybe more if a personal preference, but I always get the aisle seats, because the rows are 20 or so seats deep...if you have an emergency or need to get up, the aisle is more convenient. 6. There are only small snacks; think candy bars, gummy bears, raisins, and ham sandwiches. Plan to dine before or after the show...but there are 4 full bars.

Greg M.

Yelp
The Saenger is a world-class performing arts center on Canal Street, just outside the French Quarter. After attending several shows through the years, I couldn't resist investing in season tickets for the Broadway in New Orleans series coming out of the pandemic. It's been such a rewarding experience that I've already renewed for next season, with a lineup even better than this years, if that's possible. The facility is spectacular. Intimate enough to make you feel part of the action even back 24 rows. The acoustics are superb. The seats are luxurious and comfortable. The restrooms and concessions get busy during intermission, of course, but I've never not been able to navigate them during the time allotted. The entire ambiance is everything you'd expect.

Andi F.

Yelp
I love this theatre! I have seen several shows here. Sister Act, The Book of Mormon, Hamilton, and many more. There is paid parking nearby, streetcar stop right in front, driver services. All of the staff I have encountered have been friendly and helpful. There really is not a bad seat in the house. All of the shows I have seen have been entertaining and top-notch performances. My most recent visit was the first in a few years since the Hard Rock incident and the pandemic. The Broadway in New Orleans series here has been wonderful. Inside, the decorations are beautiful. The chandeliers are breathtaking. The details on the staircase handrails, door frames, walls, lighting fixtures and oh, just everything. Nothing has been overlooked. The ceiling in the theater itself has twinkling stars and is the night sky itself. I always look forward to coming to shows here.

Hoa K.

Yelp
One of my fav theaters! I come here every couple of months to catch musicals. The acoustics are amazing. I've had seats all over the theater and can say the sound is great. Views will obviously depends on your seating! I've included a pic of my seat view! If you want to save ticket master prices...go directly to the box office and purchase your tickets! Also don't park in the garage...such a hassle to get out of at the end of the night. It's better to pick a side street parking or a parking lot.

Patrick J.

Yelp
I didn't have high expectations for this theatre but I was pleasantly surprised. It was an awesome theatre. I recently saw one of the Hamilton shows being played at the theatre and had a great time. Bars are easy to get to and it's also quick and easy to get in and out. Lines moved quickly. I was able to sit on the Orchestra level of the and my biggest complaint was the seating. I felt very close to both my neighbors so it wasn't the most comfortable for the first bit. There was definitely a fight between me and the guy next to me for the armrest; I won by the way!

Victoria P.

Yelp
I love coming here for a show and knowing we have access to some great Broadway shows in New Orleans. I just wish they had better concessions! At least some popcorn lol

Emily M.

Yelp
Always a wonderful time at this historically refurbished entertainment house. The atmosphere and ambience triggers a more nostalgic time, and it's a great reason to get dressed up! Look for the tiny water bubblers for a laugh!

Yelp
The venue, the Saenger in New Orleans, was terrible. They said I needed to take off my mask (when there were plenty of others with masks) and since I took an Uber, was not going to go all the way back home, and they wouldn't let me just put it in my bag ("we will not allow full face masks in the building"), so I threw it in the trash. A close friend of mine was harassed by a male door person - he touched her while saying her necklace, one she spent months making, was not allowed because it was sharp. She is small and very sweet, and started crying. The Saenger, in short, ruined her experience. This so-called "sharp" necklace was a part of an animal skull. There were a LOT of people inside wearing antlers, but my friend had to go back and put it in her car? He was terrible enough to make her cry. I got a double drink and it was $29. Seriously. I will never go back to the Saenger again.

Yelp
The Saenger Theatre is a top notch venue to catch amazing concerts and Broadway shows. I remember coming back in the days before Katrina, and I finally made my return this weekend for one of the final performances of this run of Cats. The renovations were spectacular and brought your back to the grand days of the theatre. Our seats were in the upper balcony, and probably my only remark is that the stairs are very unfriendly for those with any sort of eye issue. The carpets stairs do not allow you to differentiate the step levels, so hold on to the rails! I like the way the seats are done, sort of offset so you are not immediately blocked by the person in front of you. The seats are pretty comfortable, but the aisles are narrow. The stage is large and great for complicated sets. There really isn't a bad seat in the theatre. As expected, drinks and snacks are terribly expensive, but they have a good selection. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to find another show to attend, and I hate that it took me this long to return after the renovations.

Anthony M.

Yelp
This was our first time at Saenger in NOLA, but it won't be our last. The play we saw was amazing "Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations". Not just the play though, the architecture of the building is awesome, the sound is spectacular, and the seating is extremely comfortable, this is definitely the best theatre that I've had the privilege of visiting. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

Alisha B.

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to visit the Saenger Theatre during this past Holiday season Dec.2021. First I would like to applaud the theatre for the COVID precautions. Guest must show proof of vaccination or negative test during security checkpoint and during the performance masks must be worn.

Yelp
Final night: Orleans Hadestown, so aptly named Last show: Road to Hell #NOLA_Haiku #HappyNewYear #HadesTown #Broadway #MaskUp #RoadToHell @Hadestown @SaengerNOLA

Yelp
Last night, we attended night two of the Chris Rock Tour and we absolutely loved the space, service and convenience on the theatre. The staff were great, and operations was notable. The actual theatre is stunning, and our seats, although in the last row of the orchestra, were still grand seats! I recommend.

Irethea T.

Yelp
Took my mom and sisters, to see Billy Porter's Black Mona Lisa Tour for Mother's Day. We really enjoyed ourselves. Billy gave us vocals(mic was ON for two hours), he gave us looks, and crowd interaction. He was in the audience singing for us! Baby Pray Tell can sang!!!

Demond D.

Yelp
My first time at the Saenger was great. The show was awesome, the staff was super friendly and it was an overall wonderful experience. I will definitely be returning to see another show

Brian L.

Yelp
It's hard for me to say anything negative about this theatre. I embarked on a road trip from Chicagoland all the way down to New Orleans just for a show (sure, I made the best of the weekend and stayed a few days). The theatre is beautiful on the inside. It is stylized with ornate art deco architecture, definitely a bit of a step back in time. The queue to get in went surprisingly fast, though with the entire venue being assigned seating there was no rush anyway. What I really liked about this venue is how the seating is arranged. Not only is it on a slight decline towards the stage (so it becomes easier for all to see) the seats are also dispersed in such a way that view of the row in front of you will be between seats as opposed to the back of someone's head. Even with tall people, you'll still be able to see much of the stage (assuming you aren't Billy Barty). I did come for the NIN show so surely they had their best sound techs on the job, but the acoustics are great and sounded better than most shows I've been to.

Melody O.

Yelp
Classic, memorable, inspiring. The most amazing shows in a great location. Canal Street on the Street Car Line. A definite Yes!

Anita S.

Yelp
The Saenger Theatre is stunning, and left me in awe. The beautiful historic French quarter theater is reminiscent of days gone by of formal theatre, which is what it is. Built in 1924, in the style of an Italian courtyard, that character remains. The ceiling has lights that form constellations to look like the night sky, and the renovations have kept it in grand style. I wished for more restrooms during the intermission when the lines extended the length of the theatre, but I made it back just in time in part due to an attendant who kept people moving. We visited for the first time to see Hamilton, which was beyond what words can explain. The theatre was a perfect setting, with wonderful acoustics worthy of the cast. I hope to have reason to return to the Saenger one day.

Sarah S.

Yelp
When you get to see Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Jeff Ross and Eric Andre in one night at a venue, I'm pretty sure it will effect your thoughts in a positive way. This may be the case when it comes to my thoughts on Saenger Theatre since I did see a once-in-a-lifetime show here. But I'm pretty sure it's because it's also a stellar venue. The Saenger Theatre is just beautiful! I've seen many big name comedy people in similar types of venues and they simply don't stack up to Saenger. The sound was much better, views from all seats, the seats themselves were really comfortable, all in all a nice place to see a show. This theater was built in 1927 and went strong until it was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Well it started from the bottom now it's here! Rebuilt in 2013 and looking snazzy! I'm pretty sure this was a Chris Rock thing and not a Saenger Theatre thing, but everyone had to put their phones in pouches that locked. So we couldn't take a single photo of the performance or theater. Security was on lock, too! Metal detectors and pat downs. Really enjoyed the Saenger Theatre and would love to see another show there next time I'm in New Orleans!

Jonathan L.

Yelp
I've seen some amazing performances at this theater from Aladdin musical, Book of Mormon, Wicked and hopefully Hamilton if I can get tickets this year! Every performance has been amazing. I love that the theater is clean, easy to get to and has multiple entrances so the lines to get in are never long. The theater is large but not so large where you feel far away from the stage. I've sat in the balcony and orchestra and both were equally good. Pros: Beautiful, new and clean seats. Stage is great. Not too big. Comfortable seats and sound of the singers are perfect. Not too loud, not too soft. Not too difficult to find parking within 3-4 blocks away. There's also paid parking garages around which aren't too expensive. Cons: Not the best area if you're walking around late at night. Overall, love this theater. Will gladly come here to see every Broadway show.

Will B.

Yelp
I can remember coming to some shows at the Saenger as a kid. I remember being in awe of the amazing detail of the theatre, the statues, and the twinkling celling. So if they were going to renovate it and re-open, it had to have that same wow factor without cutting corners. Well City of New Orleans, you did that with resounding success. I was just as taken away with the beautiful inside as I was decades earlier. This most recent trip took us to see the play Rent. After some mix-up on the time it started, we realized we were there an hour earlier than we planned. So we asked some of the very friendly workers at the information desk if we could go out. They said as long as we came to their door and still had our tickets, that should be no problem at all. Which it ended up not being an issue. The acoustics and production were absolutely fantastic. Even the typical crowds around the bar and restroom at intermission went very fast and helped along by friendly people. All in all, a fantastic theatre experience.

RuthMarie S.

Yelp
I came here with my friend to see The Tedeschi Trucks Band We got to enjoy hanging out in the Grande Suite Lounge before the show started I am so glad we came early to enjoy everything that was available. This is definitely the way to roll and enjoy yourself before a show Wow The room is elegant It is decorated with pictures from previous shows Styling carpet for sound reduction. Sofa and chairs for comfortable seating. High chairs and high bar tables for easy standing while consuming your drink choice The bathrooms were elegant and very clean The bar had an excellent selection of options and choices I enjoyed the champagne They brought out an assortment of cheese trays. Party finger food sandwiches cookies sweets little petite cupcakes and petit four cakes There were two different types of pasta and jambalaya I enjoyed everything. I definitely tried everything. This was fun for me I hope one day you get to experience this I would love to do this again

Nikki F.

Yelp
I went to The Color Purple production and really enjoyed it. I haven't been to this theatre in about 15 years so I was really impressed with the upgrade. It is beautiful. The bathrooms were so clean and large. The seats are a bit tight but I was still able to enjoy the show comfortably. The only discomfort was having to stand to allow others to pass by, very limited space for this. I sat in the balcony left row e and was able to see very well. There were several concessions throughout and several restrooms as well. Great job on the layout and design

TiffanyJo P.

Yelp
So so beautiful, truly a place to be experienced. I find theatres of this kind to be so humbling and this space was no different. The sound quality was great and I was so happy to finally get to see the renovations, seasons later i realize. I can only imagine what it's like to see your favorite band there-- patiently awaiting a Led Zeppelin reunion -- I'd probably cry the whole time. Excellent atmosphere for date night, a solo night out, or an evning with the krewe.

Erma D.

Yelp
Magical Theatre - Absolutely Gorgeous & Comfortable Seats. Oct 2018 - We arrived early so we could snap pictures of the amazing restoration work done on this historic theatre. We got Suite seats rather than Orchester ones & I'm glad we did. We had a little table between pairs of seats for drinks or purses, incredibly comfortable, plush seats, great leg room and an excellent view of the entire stage. Honestly - I can't think of a single production theatre we've ever been so comfortable. We're both tall & overweight so this was an unexpected pleasure. First class Broadway production of Aladdin with amazing props & costumes, excellent sound. If we lived here, we'd buy season tickets. The mythical creature on the seat endcaps (not sure of correct term) and embroidered on the seats sparked a fruitless internet search. More mystery - we found them on the old buildings (with individual variations) at the Audubon Zoo! If anyone can illuminate us - I'd love to know their story.

Ronda D.

Yelp
the employees working the front door were extremely rude and not welcoming at all. I would not return to this theater again. cheap tickets I guess you get what you pay for. not recommended.

Annie H.

Yelp
This is a beautiful theater. The ceiling is made to look like a night sky, which is gorgeous! The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of seating. We saw The lion king there and the show was amazing! So much detail put into it. They have some good shows coming up as well! The only thing I wasn't crazy about was trying to get in. There wasn't much space to go while waiting for them to open the doors, so everybody was crowded together.

Jen B.

Yelp
The Saenger Theatre is an absolutely stunning venue. I highly recommend seeing ANY thing here if you get the chance. The renovations that were completed a few years back restore it to what I can only imagine were the grandest days of opulence in entertainment. (I especially LOVE the plush red seats!!) The details in the architecture are so ornate and detailed that you really need to get here a little early just to take it all in. LOOK UP! Dating back to the 1920s, this theater has entertained New Orleans for generations. I myself have been going to a variety of shows here since the 1980s, from Broadway shows (Hairspray & Movin' Out), to live music concerts (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Buena Vista Social Club, Jody Watley, Paul Young, the Beastie Boys and most recently Jack White), to movies (there was a John Waters film fest in the late 1990s, yes, I saw Female Trouble at the Saenger!). Hours and hours of entertainment under this roof. The theatre is small enough that every seat is a pretty good seat, yet large enough that traveling acts want to stop here. Pro Tips: #1- the ladies room on the second floor is tiny (5 or 6 stalls), go down, all the way down to the 'lounge" in the basement, much more stalls and a shorter line. #2- instead of paying $20 to park in a lot around the theatre, take the Canal Streetcar from Mid-City, free parking on Canal st. then $1.25 a person for the street car. You're welcome!

Rachelle L.

Yelp
I love stepping into this amazing theatre! Today we saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and sat in the orchestra section and the seats were wonderful. I've also seen Chicago and Lion King at the Saenger. The theater is just beautiful and the productions are always great!

Kevin K.

Yelp
The Saenger is absolutely beautiful, no doubt. They have really done it up nicely; the renovations were much needed and much appreciated. The stage looks smaller to me, but nonetheless, it looks great! Here's my only complaint, and I think it's a widespread one about many theatres - if the show starts at x time, start it at x time. And when it starts, sucks for the people who were late; they'll just have to wait. No apologies. I don't want the first five minutes of the show to include late people finding their seat interrupting my view and making unnecessary noise. It might be a harsh policy to actually enforce, but if I'm not mistaken, it is the written policy. Enforce it. Set the expectation. And if people don't meet it, they'll learn their lesson. Other than that, nice work Saenger! Revitalization check!

Miriam W.

Yelp
While The Saenger features the somewhat tight seating found in most early 20th century theaters, I'm still a fan. The space itself is beautiful and historic, and they work hard to bring interesting and varied live entertainment to New Orleans. I'm not sure if there are bad seats here, as I've always been happy with mine. I skipped the cocktail on my most recent visit, but queue up near the door before entering to get one. I saw Jerry Seinfeld recently, and acoustics were very good. The seating doesn't have much of pitch, so if you're short, as I am, you may want to spring for the pricier tickets.

Mike I.

Yelp
Saw the Broadway play The King and I at this beautifully renovated theatre. Seats were very comfortable and acoustics were very good. Had no problem hearing even the softest voices. Bathrooms crowed at intermission but units were quite numerous and moved quickly. Took streetcar back to hotel foot of Canal Street for 40 cents each. Nice ride experience.

Troy S.

Yelp
The theater itsrlf and the amenities are breathtakingly beautiful. Attended the moscow ballet last night. That show was good and bad. The dance troup has several full time dancers they were amazing. They had a supporting cast of local dancers that really diminished the show. They were mediocre at best. It seemed like a dance recital that came with a very expensive ticket price. All in all a decent night.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
First off, this is a beautiful venue. It looks like the gilded age inside and the ceiling of the theater is covered in sparkling stars. We saw the traveling show for Hamilton here, and the theater was great for this. I've talked to people who said they saw a rock show here. So it's good for a lot of shows. Hope something you want to see stops in soon so you can experience the theater too.

Savannah G.

Yelp
The inside is gorgeous!! We went to the 2pm showing of Book of Mormon while it was in town. I give this theater 4 stars instead of 5 because the bathrooms have an odd setup. You wash your hands and then have to walk back down the corridor of stalls to get to the paper towels. Odd. I know it's an old building but it's still weird. In addition, it's strange that there are no cup holders on the seats. Be prepared to place your beverage on the floor.

Troy K.

Yelp
Wow this place is a gem. So historic and fancy. The place itswlf is worth going to regardless of the show. The staff are so amazing and honestly it's one of the better venues I've been to. Think 1920s luxury. Just go already

QueenDivaChanel 5.

Yelp
Hubby and I went to see Iyanla Vazant ( Fix my Life , July 25,2019 ) and it was Beautiful. She was amazing. We had Pit tickets and that was just what we needed . It was a full house . We watch her show often and it's inviting what she stands for . Iyanla has touched so many people lives and people love her . My Husband and I was honored to meet her.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
The Saengar is a really nice theater. It's bigger than the Mahalia, and has much more "curb appeal". The decorations inside: the sculptures standing tall on the castle walls, the blue sky and the stars above (I'm not a poet) are all very captivating. The seating is very nice- from the floor to the balcony. There are many many bars and the stage is very big. Come on by! It's a blast in a glass

A D.

Yelp
I usually only venture to this theater for the winter holidays to see the Moscow Great Russian Nutcracker. Each of the third times I've been have been okay. I dont buy over priced concessions so I can comment on that, but the restrooms are maintained with a decent flow of traffic during intermission and the velvety seats are relatively comfortable. I think if the staff was placed in better positions (i.e. points of friction) it would help people find their seats faster. Today's matinee performance started about ten minutes late, not sure why, but another lovely experience for me at the Saenger Theater.
