I've been here at least 3 or 4 times on dates or with friends. The ingredients are premium quality, flavors outstanding, presentation is okay, atmosphere used to have more plants in the patio pre-pandemic, customer service is fine and the prices are a bit high.
Seriously LOVE that they have an immunity shot and range of delicious non-alcoholic drinks (drinks I actually want to order), but the Sinus Blaster was $6 for a half full shot glass (2oz is usual for immunity shots, but usually cost $4 or less in the grocery stores).
The Strawberry Pina Colada tasted like a regular Strawberry Smoothie, didn't notice a Pina Colada taste.
My friend really likes the vegan donuts, but our other friend wasn't a fan. I found the dough kinda dense, but not super sweet, the icing was best on the blueberry. Wasn't fond of the chocolate icing.
The hot chocolate used premium ingredients, but tastes rather thin for me (I'd say make this an after treat at ChocoVivo and order a hot chocolate exactly how you like it). It was good, but I'm very particular. It's not as rich as the Amara Cafe (?) hot chocolate or the place in South Pasadena, but those use dairy unless you request another option.
The Artichoke and Eggplant pizza was interesting, great taste, but I felt like it needed something crunchy to break up the smooth textures. My friend loved it!
The Brazilian bowl had a great combination of flavors, nice texture. Portion sizes were definitely sharable if ordering a few things depending on how hungry you are (I love small bites of several options).
And finally, the nachos were crunchy with great toppings, but I do love cheese, so being vegan, it was hard to fully enjoy these. Plus, I adore every bite fully loaded and well balanced. It took a bit of work to ensure every bite was covered the way I like, but that's just picky and my personal thing...it comes how most are. Piled up. Definitely a shareable size for the 3 of us last night.
I didn't try it, but my friend said her matcha wasn't very sweet, so you may want to ask for agave, honey or sugar (your options).
For the nomads:
There is a restroom, but it's been years since I used it so don't remember anything special about it.
I don't believe there are any usable outlets to plug in and work/charge up.
Overall this is a fantastic place for a vegan date and you can probably still enjoy it even if not vegan.
They have juices, bakery items, an alcohol menu (I don't check that, so ask someone else haha), nice selection of sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, sides, etc. One of my FAVORITES (that we didn't order last might sadly) is the Buffalo Califlower!
