"Tomorrow’s News Today is reporting the beleaguered steakhouse chain Sage Woodfire Tavern has put its Windy Hill Road location up for sale after only a year in business. This, after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July and spending serious bucks renovating and opening a two-story Buckhead location." - Beth McKibben

"The fourth (first ITP) location of Sage Woodfire Tavern opened last week in Buckhead. The restaurant known for grilled surf and turf dishes, hefty salads, and happy hour is located in the former Morton’s Steakhouse space next door to the Westin Buckhead hotel on Peachtree Road. The 11,500-square-foot 'tavern' includes a 28-seat bar, a large patio, and a second floor designated for private parties and meetings, all designed in Sage’s trademark dark wood and stone motif. Expect live entertainment nightly, too." - Beth McKibben

First, let me start by saying.... THE DRINKS ARE AMAZING! Everyone in our party had a different cocktail/alcoholic beverage, and not a single person had a negative thing to say about them. The food was delicious, but the plating was rather sloppy, as you can see in the pics. We had about 16 of us to just show up, and they were quite accommodating. Especially with one of our guests of honor (this was a celebratory dinner) who is in a wheelchair. Next time I’m back in Atlanta, I’ll definitely stop by here again.

We had a great time at this venue celebrating a close friends move. It was a little hectic because we had 16 people in our party. We had to be reseated upstairs which was a relief because downstairs was very cold...at least where we were seated. Got upstairs and it smelled like urine. It could have been the smell of seafood but it was very overpowering and took away from the ambience. Three stars because the food was delicious and the DJ did a wonderful job with the music selection. Shout out to our waiter as well for handling such a large number. He recommended a sangria mix for me that was sooooo good that everyone else got them one too 😍😍😍 I think a smaller crowd will have a great experience here, but we had all the ingredients for an ok time. I will definitely come back here for an intimate dinner and to listen to music.

The perfect balance of elegance and casualness. The jazz brunch, hosted each Sunday beginning at 11 AM, is filled with classic brunch and lunch entrees. First visit I had the steak and eggs. Seasoned well and cooked to my liking. The second visit I chose the crab cake Benedict. Not much crab and basically a "filler cake" Benedict. The bread basket comes with an assortment of different things, from croissants to mini muffins. They're usually provided fresh and warm. Drinks: Opt for the Bellini over the mimosa and thank me later. 😉 Atmosphere: A saxophonist plays classic hits and places the bow on the brunch experience at this location.

This place was very disappointing. Party of about 30 people and majority of, if not all of us were dissatisfied with the service and the food quality. The food temperature was well below average. The wait time for the food and the check extremely long. When the issues were brought to management the results were still not satisfying. The gratuity was automatically added to the bill even though the service was not deserving of a tip. Our menu stated that we would receive an assortment of desserts and that was not the case. Received one slice of cheesecake that wasn't even a whole slice. Many guests were still hungry after leaving. Will not return. Point. Blank. Period.

I came with a group of friends to have dinner with a package from the manager. Everybody was soooo hyped up to see what this place was about. So, we started with an appetizer. We got soups and when we all tried them..... IT WAS COLD. Everybody's soup was cold and we were disgusted. Our main course meal steaks and you would never guess.... IT WAS COLD AND UNDERCOOKED!?? What was the meaning of this all of our expectations were let down. Our steak came with mash potatoes.... the "mashed potatoes" where not even mashed when we were served. Finally the most aggravating part of this was the horrible, no good service. Nobody bothered to ask us what happened after we only took one or two bites. This was terrible!!! One other bad thing I noticed was the size of the asparagus. They were abnormally thick and looked like the were not grown naturally. Overall my experience was terrible and I do not recommend this to other people.

I Love This Place. I hosted part one of my My 50th Birthday celebration here. The entire team from Nikki, the event manager to Pless our waitress were spectacular. The bread.... omg!!!! The companion dipping oil is amazing. Thank you so much for helping me create the most memorable moments!

The environment was so much fun. It was a whole vibe it was laid back & chill. The entertainment was great. And the food was some of the best that I've had on my quick trips to Atlanta! I'll definitely be returning 🤩

I went for the first time at the location in Buckhead for a Christmas brunch with my friends. My food was good. I ordered from the lunch menu. I didn't get the bottomless mimosas because I don't like it that they bring out a glass at a time and it is heavy on the oj. Champagne is cheap, so I am not sure why they have chose it to do that way. When my friends wanted a drink, it took a while for them to order and receive their mimosas. Also, they were not thrilled with their breakfaat items. This is the reason why I ordered lunch. I will definitely take my hubby for his first time to the location at Peremiter.
