Alright, so Saigon NV definitely gives you a taste of Vietnam right here in Boston. As a Vietnamese native, I gotta say, they're keeping it real with their dishes.
Now, let's talk about the Pho and spring rolls. They were decent, but I was kinda hoping for that extra punch of flavor, you know? They needed a little something extra to make them stand out.
But hold up, their Bun Bo Hue? That's where they shine. It's like a trip back to the streets of Vietnam with those pork blood cubes and pork hock. Authenticity level? Pretty darn high. However, the broth could use a bit more sweetness, and those noodles were a tad too firm for my liking. Oh, and where's the shredded cabbage or lettuce on the side? That's a must for that authentic touch.
As for the vibe, yeah, it's not fancy. It's more like walking into your grandma's kitchen - cozy and a bit worn, but that just adds to the whole experience.
Overall, Saigon NV hits the spot if you're craving some legit Vietnamese grub. Sure, they've got a few tweaks to make, but I'd definitely swing by again for another taste of home.
