Biggest NYC Restaurant Openings in June 2025 | Eater NY

"A 200-seat outdoor bar from Crew, the team behind boat bars like Grand Banks, offering a waterfront-inspired, casual drink program; the name references a signature cold brew over ice with a lime and the space emphasizes large outdoor capacity." - Melissa McCart

New Boat Bar Sailor’s Choice Opens in NYC | Eater NY

"Opening in Hudson Yards, this breezy, seasonal seafood bar from Alex and Miles Pincus brings a relaxed New England seafood-shack vibe to a corporate stretch of Manhattan near Time Warner and Meta. Built around a vintage Hinckley fishing boat (loaned by the Barton & Gray mariners’ club) that’s docked on land and surrounded by counter seating, a large deck with yellow-and-white striped umbrellas, and nautical chairs, the project seats about 200 and also features a second cocktail bar housed in a retro Airstream. Part of the brothers’ Crew hospitality group — which includes Grand Banks, Drift In, Pilot, Island Oyster, Holywater, High Tide and Fairweather — it was conceived quickly after a Hudson River Park gala pitch and aims for an unfussy, post-sailing feel (a cold beer poured over ice). The menu leans into New England seafood classics: lobster BLT ($27), fish and chips ($29), surf club sandwich ($21), caviar tater tots ($27), and oysters ($23–$29 for six, $43–$55 a dozen); cocktails range from a watermelon-and-vodka Tropicalia to spritzes and “yacht club” martinis and gin-and-tonics ($18–$21), plus wines and beers — including frosty brews over ice with lime for $7." - Melissa McCart

Amazing little pop up at Hudson Yards. Drinks, food and service are all on point. What a perfect addition to this area!!! Perfect spot for a nice summer evening of dinner and drinks.

If you are looking for a great view this is the perfect place to be. However, if you want good food, bar service and pleaseant waitstaff AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!. We waited over a half an hr for initial waitress contact. The waitress didn't get my mom and I our appetizer/drinks. Waitress brought drinks for a couple of guys but not us. I made eye contact with the waitress. She then came to our table and said "bar is running behind." My mother and I waited 10-20 minutes no drinks, no food only 3 tables with people who already had food and drinks. Then came to out table again and said the same thing. We just left. Very disappointed.

Well I don’t know how to start… the people that work here are extremely racist!!!!! I speak Spanish but the guy in the front was so rude!!! I spoke to him in English and he respond in a broken Spanish!!!! I asked what happened with Verano? In a nice way!!!!!! And he said oh I don’t know you should call them like in a sarcastic way in a BROKEN SPANISH !!!! The bartender was extremely rude when ordering our drinks and kept complaining that they were closing and were in last call. We confirmed we only wanted one drink and had an attitude the entire time yet was profoundly attentive to other folks ofc. I left a tip because I refused to be judged give her more reasons to be racist but I should’ve left 0 got her service and attitude. It’s one thing if she were just a grouch and another if she’s a grouch to once group and nice to another. says a lot. Won’t be coming back and don’t recommend to POC/latinos!

It was a nice afternoon. I had a lobster BLT sandwich. It was a very good sandwich. The lobster was fresh and moist.

This could have been so much better if they got their staffing ratios right. The poor wait staff were run off their feet and clearly unable to deliver the service they are capable of and desperately wanted to deliver. The atmosphere at sunset was gorgeous, except for the annoying social media influencers and wannabes. The food was ok for the price point, but nothing worth a second visit. This place is 100% for tourists with low standards and not for people who enjoy good food and good service. Please do better!
