Making a reservation online was quick and easy. They also had plenty of seating inside and out, so they may be able to accommodate walk-in also. The restaurant is located in the center of the shopping area, and parking in one of the garages is the best option. We had a party of four, and they weren't too busy when we arrived. We were seated outside with a view of the courtyard, This was perfect for people watching. Our server, Brooke, was very attentive and prompt in meeting our needs. The couple we were with enjoyed the mimosa flight, which came with a full bottle of champagne. I ordered the Smoked Tri-Tip Hash. It was full of flavor. I don't mind poached eggs, but if that's not your thing, be sure to ask for them cooked differently. The yolk, while tasty, gets everywhere! I also tried some of the pancakes, chef's kiss. They come as two large pancakes, so if that's your meal, you'll definitely be full. They could also be good for sharing. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Some others in the party lightly added salt and pepper to their meals, but the Tri-Tip Hash was good for me. I often stay in the Manhattan Beach area when I'm in LA, and this restaurant has definitely been added to my list of go-to list.

stars — all for the insanely amazing service from Chase and the manager JR. They were attentive, gracious, and truly the saving grace of our visit. That said… we ordered our burgers medium twice and both times they came out well done — dry and barely edible. Super disappointing since we were excited to try them. The drinks? Came out sooooo slow I was tempted to hop behind the bar and make them myself. I absolutely love the Belmont Shore location and was thrilled to see it finally open here in Manhattan Beach by my house — but it’s clear they’re still ironing out the kinks. Once the kitchen dials in meat temps and the bar gets its timing right, I’m sure this will be a 5-star spot. Fingers crossed!

Tried Saint & Second for the first time today and loved it! The avocado toast was perfectly seasoned and super fresh, but the real standout was the potatoes — crispy, flavorful, and seriously addictive. Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!

So excited this opened ! I had dinner here last night with a friend and will definitely come back. The ambiance and decor is gorgeous; we sat on the outdoor patio. We ordered several dishes and left feeling full. The spicy tuna crispy rice was excellent. Often I find crispy rice to be too oily and overly fried but this was perfectly done and had plenty of protein atop too. Our other favorite dish was the pork gochujang lettuce wraps which I would also absolutely order again. The charcuterie and branzino were very good but not as special as the two mentioned above. Our least favorite dish was the Aguachile but it was by no means bad. The service was prompt and great especially for an opening. The ambiance is less corporate / stuffy conflated to Joey next door. The food is also better to be candid. Very glad to have this now in MB ! Martinis rocked too :)

What an incredible disappointment. The restaurant is extremely well decorated and the atmosphere is welcoming. After that it all goes downhill. We ordered crabcakes for an appetizer; it was 90% filler with ZERO lump crab. Tasteless and not even edible; they could have have passed for a vegetarian " crabcake". For a main course we ordered branzino with mashed potatoes. Again, the dish was tasteless and disgusting. The fish was overcooked and dry and the mashed potatoes were brown with a funky flavor. Finally for dessert, we ordered a vanilla latte and an earl grey tea with no gin. They couldn't even get that right as the latte came out 10 minutes before the tea. The latte was decent but the tea tasted like it had some sort of cleaning solution in it. When the tea finally did arrive it had whipped cream spilling down the side of the cup and the handle without any dish or plate. There was no manager checking on how people's experience was and people close to us were annoyed at how slow and disconnected everything was. If I were offered a free meal to try S & S again, I wouldn't do it. To cap it off, we shared our dining experience on the way out the door and the host walked away. This place needs leadership and a new chef. Save your time and money and walk 50 feet to Joey or any number of other better, more established restaurants that appreciate your patronage. For the food and service I would have given it zero stars if that option was available.

Despite some lackluster reviews we went with an open mind and we were well rewarded. Our server was attentive and came back multiple times. We started slow with ordering drinks to start. The "It's a Fig Deal" was delicious. I definitely wanted another one. She came back shortly and took our appetizer order. No rush to place the whole order. Food was delivered at a non rushed pace. The Beet and burrata salad was delicious. Our main course was also delicious. The 100 layer lasagna was declared excellent, as was the fish and chips. My only suggestion on the F & C would be to cut down the fish to a few pieces instead of one giant piece of fish. Mainly it just looked weird. I had the asian salad and added chicken. I really enjoyed it. Sadly no room for dessert. The atmosphere was great, not too noisy. The decor is really nice. Modern and cozy. We were there pretty early on a Thursday and the noise level was pretty good. Will be going back for sure.

This was a great experience I loved the steak and fries the steak was so soft and easy to chew the salmon was a little bit undercooked and sadly there was a white long hair in the fish and chips but one hair won’t make ur food spoil either way I would still come back. We also didn’t wait but because we reserved.

We frequent the LB location and have been to this location twice. Menu is off the charts for interesting combinations of ingredients and presentation. I enjoy food for chef inspired taste, not super-size mega portions. Social Hour (happy hour) book of valued food & drink is inviting. Enjoyed Calamari, Pork Belly Lettuce Cups and Spicy Tuna and a crisp Rosé.

We came for a special pre opening party and the hostesses there made us feel so welcomed.This restaurant is so beautiful! there's a ton of natural light but also has that romantic feel inside which is perfect for date night. The bar extends to the patio which is a great design idea and makes the bar a super fun place to hang with friends or with the very friendly and welcoming bartenders! Food is excellent and super fresh. Honestly, their ingredients are unmatched and everything was super flavorful! The bartender said we should get the mac and shrooms and it did not disappoint. Super Food salad with the salmon was so delicious! and the avocado toast was perfect. I can't wait for this restaurant to open in a few days this is truly a special place and even the managers all came by and all said hi. The manhattan village really needed this place!

Their drinks are amazing!! We tried the Espresso Martini and Saint Rita , and for food the Stonefruit with Burrata. Everything is so delicious. Shannon and Janise were great!!

No reservation on a Saturday, but they squeezed us in, seated within 10 mins. Our server Giovanni was very informative, attentive, personable, and made the experience wonderful. Ordered the aguachile( GOOD), pork belly(BOMB), and Filet Mignon cooked to a perfect MR. Recommend all 3 dishes, will be back to try the rest. Oh and ask Gio to try his favorite red wine .. so good!

Yum!! We've visited a few times since opening. Two of the three times, Sara sat us and was so sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. She even checked on us at one point, unheard of for a host! The manager, Adam, also was attentive which is a sign of great leadership involvement. All three of the servers we've had have been outstanding. And the food..we've tried brunch and dinner and all were amazing! Great eggs Benedict and delicious egg sandwich for breakie. Our fave mains were the pasta, the roast chicken, and the risotto. All superb! The wine selection is also impressive Can't wait to go back. Time to try the burger!

In a very lively plaza of Manhattan Beach. This establishment is fairly new, about a month and half month old. The decor is modern contemporary. The lighting is slightly bright than their neighbor, JOEYS. Which i prefer in order to see my food. They have mostly indoor seatings and limited outdoor seatings as well. The menu offers variety of American style, like an upgraded bar food if that is your preference. The food, the oysters were fresh and sweet. The fish and chips were fried to a golden crisp but not overly fried. The drinks were very decent. All the orders were served within timely manner. The price could be from $$ to $$$ which depends on your appetite. The service was attentive. The waiter would check in every so often. Overall, great experience. 4.7 out of 5.

This place was great! Great ambiance, service, and food. I had a reservation for brunch here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. Free parking decks, which seem to be rare these days, made parking a breeze. The waiter made sure to check in on us and check with the kitchen for modifications my friend wanted to her meal. I ordered the French onion soup and the lobster rolls with a side salad. Both were delicious and together, made for a great filling meal. Can't wait to come back here and try more items on the menu!

The food delivers with its modern American menu featuring all your classic favorites with fresh modern twists and super fresh ingredients. Their culinary team is top of game creating a menu that offers diversity and something for everyone. Elevated ingredients that are sourced locally supporting the local community. Everything was delicious! Some fun items on the menu as well too with the smoking pork shop with its twist off pork chops and applesauce with a tropical Smokey twist! Perfectly cooked pork belly and al dente pasta and risotto. The Parker rolls are also a must here. Each of their desserts have a nostalgic nod as well too including their smore toasted tableside and their fun interpretation of the ice cream trucks strawberry shortcake bar. They have a large wine library as well as some interesting smoking cocktails featuring some top shelf spirits. Some of the best service around town with attention to detail and hospitality. We had dinner last night at Saint and Second with another couple and it was about average. I must start off by saying that the restaurant was very pretty and that the manager was very nice and efficient. Service was okay, a little slow at times, and my husband and our friends both ordered the same thing, differently cooked and they were each given the other's food. They ended up switching after each eating a bite of the other's discovering one was well-done, and one was rare! We had cocktails which took a while to come as the bar was backed up. We all had the French Onion Soup which we were told was more savory than sweet, but was actually very sweet. I probably would not order this if you are looking for a more savory dish because it's definitely on the sweeter side. I had the burger which was okay but could definitely have used some pickles for crunch. I asked for crispy fries but my fries were just barely warm. My friend enjoyed the Branzino and the husbands had the steak. My husband said the steak was just okay. The restaurant is very pretty and inviting but we all noticed that the floor was extremely slippery. When I went to the bathroom, I felt like I was literally ice skating there. I did inform the manager who immediately thanked me and put up caution signs. I'm not sure that we'd return.

finally!!! saint & second has finally opened their doors at the manhattan village, right next to joeys... i made rez via opentable for patio for HH. FYI - if you are dining for HH, it is only at the bar, which is like 5-6 stools and if its pairs seating, there is just an awkward solo seat in btw its a beautiful space. beautifully done! the patio tho, felt a bit cramp.. service was good, our waiter kept coming around to make sure we had everything we needed the HH offerings were great ordered: CRISPY CHICKEN SLIDERS (2) peanut chili crunch, Korean packies, purple cabbage slaw, , kimchi comeback sauce, parker house rolls MEATBALL SLIDERS (2) Beef and pork meatballs, San Marzano tomato sauce, black pepper ricotta, parker house rolls PORK BELLY LETTUCE CUPS pickled daikon, kinchi, Korean pickles, gochujang glaze BLACKENED SALMON TACOS (2) charred pineapple pico de gallo, avocado, red cabbage, housemade tortillas, tomatillo salsa out of the 4 plates, my favorite were the salmon tacos! i love house-made tortillas, they just taste so much better. the chicken sliders, the batter on the chicken or the sauce was wayyyyy to salty. all the plates were decent portions. worth the price. i have rez for brunch in a few weeks, looking forward to that menu. parking: no issues with parking. parking structure and lots avail

Nice location with excellent service and delightful cuisine. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely. We had brunch on a Sunday morning. We ordered the Biscuits & Gravy and Huevos Rancheros. Both dishes were very well-prepared and delicious. Mimosa's were good as well. Sara, our server, was extremely friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to going back for lunch/dinner.

Adventure is a fact of my life. Today my wife and I went to Macy's for a gift for my daughter and it went late. We were hungry and it was late, we tried to get in one restaurant and they said they had a 45 minute wait so, we left. Then we turned south and there was... the Saint &Second beautiful restaurant. We went in and first thing we said... we don't have a reservation... both ladies in the reception looked at us and they said, let us see if we can get you a seat at the bar... and there we went... immediately Grace our gracious bar attendant brought us a pair of Martinis my wife had a Cosmos and I did my regular dry vodka Martini... but then... the menu!! First Sone Fruit and Burrata, a delicious combination of suit flavor with delicious cheese and vegetables!! Then something totally unexpected a corn Cavatelli pasta sweet corn, truffle pate black pepper and ricotta... a fusion of delicate flavors that travel that magic route from your tongue to your brain... Thanks Grace, you did the experience worth it... if you are around try it...

Made a reservation online, walked in and was seated right away. There are beautiful pictures of the beach on the walls and the ambience of the restaurant has a good feeling. We started with Diet Coke and for lunch we ordered the chicken sandwich. We asked the waiter if we could get salad for a side and it came through. We had a really good waiter when the chicken sandwich arrive to our table and I took the first bite. It was filled with flavor. Very delicious. The salad on the side was also very tasty. My overall experience at saint and second Manhattan Beach was perfect. I recommend this location.

I am so happy they finally opened this spot! Joey has been our only late night food option in that area and the food is much better at this establishment. I can't wait to return and try more menu options. I tried the fried fish which had a great light batter. The appetizer with the hummus was wonderful as well. I also should mention that this place has an amazing bar which wraps inside and outside of the restaurant with an amazing whiskey selection.

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience, thanks in large part to our amazing server, Marcus. From start to finish, he was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation he made was spot-on--from the Matchi cocktail to the beef tartare, corn cavatelli, and perfectly cooked filet mignon. We finished off with the peach cobbler dessert, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Marcus truly elevated our evening with his excellent service and warm personality. Thank you, Marcus, for making our date night so memorable especially away from our kids haha we'll definitely be back again soon!

Been here about 4 times since they opened for both brunch and dinner. I really enjoy the bar that extends to the patio, it was nice and cozy at night as they have heaters. I think I've tried 4 drinks so far and my favorite is the Matchi and Gins and Roses. I definitely preferred dinner over brunch. A must try is the Crispy Tuna.. I thinks that's what keeps bringing me back in. The S&S Burger is also a must. You have to be patient with the servers and the service as it's new they may not know everything about the menu.

Disappointing. Waited HOUR AND HALF for food. We were eager to try this new spot. Started good. Ordered and our drinks/salad came out along w an appetizer but then... we waited for AN HOUR AND A HALF and no food. Our server was also MIA. Worst part is that it wasn't even busy. You might think well maybe how they dressed. Nope, suited. Restaurant looks beautiful! But.... with this poor attention... they will not keep many clients. As a biz owner and previous server I know it can get busy or if an establishment is new but wow this was disappointing... I'd suggest management to hire secret shoppers and if the staff/kitchen are aware of this I am positive it won't be such a poor experience for another guest.

Phenomenal presentation and outstanding attention to the details. The dinner service at Saint And Second exceeded alle expectations. The wine list was carefully curated which made it terribly difficult to choose, thankfully their fantastic sommelier picked the perfect accompanying vital. We had 4 apps 4 mains and a dessert. I can't pick. Favorite because they were each so yummy. We can't wait to go back!

If you're looking for a place that feels like both inexperience and has amazing food, this is it! I have been patiently waiting along with the rest of the Manhattan Beach population for this location to open, and it did not disappoint. Modern meets beach elegance for a very classy dining experience. I had the pleasure of dining here before their opening and the menu was phenomenal. I have since also dying here for an evening ladies night out. I had the fresh oysters at market price and I ordered a Manhattan. Both were perfect. I love what they're doing with the Manhattan Village overall and Saint and second fits perfectly. Amazing service, we will be a frequent customer.

Rachel was such a delight! Made me feel right at home while providing me with many great recommendations. First time at the MB location and would definitely come back .

I was really disappointed with the Spicy Tuna Arancini -- the tuna-to-arancini ratio was completely off, leaving the dish unbalanced. Prices were outrageous: one cocktail and three tiny pieces of arancini came out to $46.50. On top of that, the vibe was underwhelming for a place charging $29 for arancini. Definitely not worth it. Won't be back.

Was so excited this place finally opened! We went last week and sat at the bar. We were immediately welcomed by Janise who explained the menus and offered her drink and food suggestions. She was also training a new staff named Chelsea who was also super friendly and nice throughout the whole evening! We had a few drinks and some items off the social hour menu and loved all of it! The build your own charcuterie is always a solid choice! We had an awesome time and will be back soon! Thanks team S&S!

We went to Saint & Second for dinner a couple weeks ago. Loved that they had crafts for the kids! Inside had a great vibe, but we sat outside, which was perfect for people watching. we started with the house rolls (kids devoured them) and they were delicious. My mezcal cocktail was strong and tasty. I had the salmon for dinner which was perfectly cooked and so good. Definitely coming back and bringing friends!

Bre was so great! Soon as she got to our table we were laughing and had our drinks out within the first 2 minutes! The cocktails were delicious and I definitely recommend the lobster risotto my bf had it and I couldn't stop stealing some bites. The entire meal was such a delight and we really hope to come back and have Bre serve us again!

The restaurant itself has such a vibe but couldn't have been more thankful for our server, Brooke! The moment we were seated she made us feel so welcomed! Food came out quick and everything she recommended was a 10/10! Ready to come back asap! So whenever you go- request her section if possible!

I'm so disappointed to write a negative review of this location. Zero stars. My friend and I came in last Friday night around 9:30pm. As a new establishment it was pretty busy. We attempted to sit on a couple chairs at the outside bar that looked to be open. We immediately knew something was up because the server said to wait because they were taken. I was confused and simply asked why we couldn't sit there. After she had a short back and forth with management they let us sit down. I asked one of the bartenders if the menu was the same as the LBC location and he said it was. I asked a couple of additional questions about the cocktail menu, then my friend and I ordered. I noticed after about 10-15 minutes we were very obviously being ignored. Our server never returned and the bartender never even looked at us again. Right after that the manager Adam came over and told us we wouldn't be served any alcohol, but could feel free to order appetizers. I asked him what my could my friend and I have possibly done to be denied service, as we were both friendly and polite to everyone. We had been laughing and chatting as you do when you go out on a Friday night. After my questioning, he said it appeared my friend was intoxicated and that someone complained about us. I was honestly shocked and defended my friend and myself. We had not done anything wrong and had only been there a short amount of time. And neither of us were intoxicated, just laughing and talking. And not the least disruptive. It wasn't worth it to us to stay any longer where we weren't welcome so my friend and I simply left. I wasn't going to pay for any appetizers after that. I feel like there was some level of discrimination against because of how we looked. My friend has beautiful neck and hand tattoos. And I was wearing an arguably loud leopard print jacket. But that's not a real reason to deny service to paying customers. I've never been kicked out of any establishment. I come to find out yesterday (direct source) that they kicked several people out of those seats prior to us that evening. Apparently some lady was saving those specific seats for hours for her and some guy who never even showed up. So she complained about us. So they were willing to cater to this woman by kicking out paying customers. I also found out a few days prior some girls had been throwing up in the bathroom for not being able to handle their alcohol. So I guess they thought we would do the same. It's completely ridiculous for them to deny us service due to others behavior. And let some other customer dictate seating that would be open to any paying customer. What an absolutely awful experience here. I won't be returning. I'm also considering not returning to the Long Beach location I've patronized multiple times due to my experience here.

Great food and amazing service. We got the pork belly, steak and fries, wedge salad, and salmon. All were delicious. We asked for our steak to be cooked a little more and they gave us a new steak, took it off the bill, and gave us a free dessert. Completely unexpected and we didn't ask for all of this but they insisted on making our experience that much better. Mike, the manager, was super nice and came over to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Again, best service ever.

Food was fresh and delicious. We had the meatballs as an appetizer and the wedge salad with steak. Gio was our waiter and provided fantastic, friendly service. The room acoustics were great, our baby was able to sleep.

Everything was incredible, from the decor, to the service, the drinks, the food, to the overall ambience. five stars every day all day!!

My husband and I decided to try this place out for date night and we were not disappointed! 10/10 from the ambiance, to the food and drinks, to the service, everything was all around fantastic. Our server Brooke was absolutely amazing and made the night such a great experience. I'm a very indecisive person and Brooke was super sweet, helpful and professional navigating us through the menu. She recommended the filet and the lobster risotto and both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered drinks and oysters which were also fantastic. Can't recommend enough and we'll definitely be back!

I mean this is the second day for them !! I can imagine cold food and slow service. . But not to this extent. They were so slow. I mean we waited for a long time to get the food the check to even see your server we waited long !! Hopefully they get better by the time

The appetizers (parker rolls, mac and shrooms, pork belly) were amazing! The spicy tuna on crispy rice unfortunately was not a personal favorite. The entree steaks were good! The service was efficient and the food came out quickly. The ambiance is very upscale, clean, spacious.

I've been to the Long Beach location multiple times but no longer live in that area. So after waiting over four years for the restaurant to open, I wasn't disappointed. Our server, Johnny recommended the lamb pastrami sandwich served with fries. It was amazing! We also tried the fish and chips which in my grandmothers words may just be better than one of her favorites across the street. Given it was only day four since opening their doors, management, hosts and staff exceeded my expectations of quality service and attention. Never knew what I was missing until I had it! I'll definitely be back requesting Johnny as our server.

Tried them out second day of opening ,for breakfast and bar . The restaurant itself is very beautiful, servers and hostess have always been so sweet .I do recommend this place only for the bar ,to grab drinks or a small bite . The food itself is very underwhelming,like flavorless..I do love the dessert menu ,long list of cocktails and the pork belly wraps.Love the crispy rice too!!

Finally opened! My girls and I went here for lunch. Such a beautiful place, loved sitting outside. The bar is gorgeous. I had their ribeye steak sandwich for lunch and it was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. It was filling so I took half of it home with me. The service was great. Took a bit for the food to come out but wasn't too bad. Definitely want to go book and have some drinks.

I visited saint and second for my first time ever last week and had such a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly, the hosts were such warm greeters. I took a seat at the bar and was served immediately. The bar team really seemed to work well together and have fun doing it. Janise made me one of the most delicious Paloma's I've ever had. I even made some new friends at the bar well enjoying my cocktails. Will definitely be back!

One thing I have to say about the bartender Bre! WOW, service immaculate!, drink quality immaculate! conversation immaculate!. She knows how to be there for her customers with no hesitation. The food is incredible and I definitely recommend all of my friends come here. I ordered the Corn Cavatelli with added crispy prosciutto and my drink of choice was the Matchi! To be a new location and have service this good is rare, will be back soon!

Sharing pictures: two openers (gochujang pork belly wraps and Mediterranean trio); two mains - Wedge Salad (we opted for no blue cheese) and the haddock (tartar was herb-filled, delish!). Dessert was a double-crust peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, warmed caramel sauce, and (!) hazelnuts. Scoot over Sylvia's! This one hits! Hats off to the chef and staff. And, thank you to the Saint & Second staff for the blind invitation to join your soft opening. We are already planning a family event here!

Really enjoyed my time here! Always having great food, this time I had to mention my experience with the bartender Janisea she was a really great bartender. Made really great drinks and awesome personality. Really helped make the experience that much better!

I am in the industry and it's so nice to find a place with exceptional bartenders. Janise is the star of this bar. She is so friendly, offers great recommendations for food, and makes me feel like I've come home. The ambience is amazing and the bar is beautiful but to be greeted and served with such grace is amazing. Janise is the reason I come back. Plus the food is amazing and the drinks... even better!
