Year-round Saturdays with harbor views and a dedicated shopper base. GrowNYC’s Staten Island anchor is regularly listed on borough calendars for its produce, meats, seafood, and baked goods.
Great variety of produce and baked goods. Only place where you can find the pawpaw fruit when in season (Rabbits run farm stand). Not very crowded. And excellent tamales at the entrance

Love the fresh fruits and vegetables stands. Good seafood and natural meat. My favorite is the guy that sells the homemade granola, bread and pies. Wish it had more participants.

Great Greenmarket— Everyone is very local and you can even get compost. Rabit Run Farm is the best and I’ve been buying from them for close to two decades. If you use an EBT card here and you get $10 match in vegetable/Fruit certificates. These are really great when edible plants are being sold.

I've been to many different greenmarkets all across the city, and this one is a little different than most. A lot of the other greenmarkets have farms visiting from NJ, LI, and upstate, but this is the first one I've seen that actually has true local farms from the 5 boros. Nearly all the vendors here are Staten based, so you're truly giving back to your own local community shopping here. There's usually about 6-8 vendors here so it's a tad small compared to other greenmarkets, but there's still a fine selection available. There's usually 3-4 produce sellers, one bakery, and one or two fresh meat/dairy vendors, so it's a little bit of everything you'd want. Vendors and greenmarket staff are all friendly and knowledgeable as well. I'd love to see more vendors, as well as other types of vendors like art/jewelry/clothes/bath and beauty product vendors here like some of the larger markets. Despite that, it's got nearly everything you'd want from a farmer's market!

Great little local farmers market. When it's warmer, they have a great selection of smaller veggies (like ground cherries and itty bitty cucumbers). The bakeries, chicken pot pies are good too and there's fresh butter and eggs.

Awesome people with fresh produce. I encourage you to get your compost to them every Saturday. I simply put mine in the fridge. They are opened every Saturday! Parking space is right within the market.

Sad vendors. Maybe just to early to shop. Need more high quality vendors with reasonable prices. Also need to remove the empanada lady OUTSIDE THE PARKING LOT. Needs to be checked for vendors license, and to stop serving out of a shopping cart..NO GLOVES WHEN HANDLING THE FOOD......
