The 11 Best Bakeries In Mexico City

"There are only eight small outdoor tables at this consistently crowded panadería in Condesa, so try to come by on the off hours (either right around when they open, or before/after 12-2pm) to snag a seat if you want a sit-down meal. The BLT on a baguette is always terrific, as is the ham and cheese that’s stacked with heaps of meat and has the perfect ratio of creamy gouda, mayo, and dijon. On your way out, scoop up at least one oreja for the road." - guillaume guevara

Small l, cozy restaurant cafe. It kind of feels like you're in someone's home. There like three tables inside, and a couple outside. The kitchen is very open and the service is very friendly. I ordered a decaf americano and eggs Benedict. The Benedict was much creamier than others I've had in the past. The bread was a bit crispier than a prefer and there was very little. It was good though! And the americano was very fresh, well brewed ,and delicious as well. The shop also has wifi and a good ambiance to have lunch, work for a little, read, or whatever. Given the homestyle of the place though, it's better e joyed for a stay vs to go. Also CASH TIPS ONLY.

It looks like a cute place but after spending 40 min in traffic to get there only to find the place closing early because they didn't have enough staff and could only provide take out. I was super disappointed. Other customers said it was delicious as they were leaving. The server who was there wasnt not exactly apologetic or care if I was ordering take out but just wanted to clean up and get out of there so I didn't end up ordering anything and left right away. It is really out of the way if you are staying in Condesa but it is highly rated. If I were staying in CDMX Im not sure if I'd try again because I don't know how often this staffing issue (where staff doesn't show up) occurs.

Saint is a must-go for me! We stayed in Roma for a month and watched there at least once a week. There’s a European atmosphere with seating, selections, and the corner shop playing classical music for patrons to enjoy. The baguette, I kid you not was better than some we had in Europe. The sandwiches in the fridge are the perfect grab-n-go. And the coffee is worth every penny.

Such a good place for brunch and lunch, although they do take forever to prepare the food it is definitely worth it, I think the flavor was pretty authentic and I think was inexpensive.

A very sweet breakfast place with menus for around 130 pesos including coffee, something sweet (eg. chocolate croissant), fruits and a main dish like omlette
