Chef-driven food hall with diverse options and central bar

"Not sure what to eat? Head to St. Roch Market and order one of everything. There’s Peruvian sushi at Itamae, tacos at Hot Lime, vegan baked goods at Chef Chloe, well-executed coffee from Sabal Coffee, and eight other spots to choose from, plus a full bar featuring happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. with drink specials under $6. Leave the umbrella in the car and use the Palm Court parking garage with $3 parking for up to four hours." - Amber Love Bond

"The Miami outpost of St. Roch Market has a similar setup with 12 vendors offering a range of cuisines including acai bowls, a Japanese-Peruvian mashup, Israeli cuisine, and Italian pastas." - Alaena Hostetter

"I found that the Miami food hall may continue operating under the St. Roch Market name for now after federal judge Sarah Vance ruled in their favor, but the owners cannot open additional food halls using that name until the court fully resolves the City of New Orleans’ claim that the city has long used (but never trademarked) the name. The city filed suit on April 3 asking the judge to bar the group from using the name in Miami, cancel the trademark the company filed, and recover any profits; Helpful Hound (formed by Will Donaldson and Barre Tanguis) received a trademark for “St. Roch Market” in April 2017 and opened the Miami market in February 2018 with plans to expand via venture capital, though given how new the Florida market is and the cost of the build-out it isn’t clear the market has been very profitable yet. While Donaldson and Tanguis view this week’s ruling as a positive sign, it will likely affect plans to use the name for a planned expansion at McDonald’s headquarters in Chicago." - Stephanie Carter

"St. Roch Market is one of the food halls that debuted in Miami in the past year." - Olee Fowler
