7 Dishes That Prove Atlanta Will Lemon Pepper Anything

"Saints + Council in Colony Square makes a solid Bloody Mary with all the traditional ingredients, but we’ve taken to it more because we love the lemon pepper salt rim, which reminds us of licking our fingers after polishing off a basket of LP wings. And if you want a breakfast that won’t send you back home for a midday nap, pair the brunch cocktail with the modern American restaurant’s delicious country bread toasts topped with avocado, figs, pickled onions, and a sweet balsamic glaze. Enjoy both on their big outdoor all-seasons patio for a full-on F.I.L.A. moment." - juli horsford, nina reeder, jacinta howard

Saints + Council Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"When the Atlanta weather plays nice, we love to head to the quiet side of Colony Square to post up with a cocktail by the outdoor fire pits of Saint + Council’s spacious patio. And the scene is just as warming inside, with a towering fireplace near the entrance and soft, moody lighting around the bar. The venue has a catch-all American menu, which jumps around from burgers to pork belly risotto. And you’ll most likely be pleased with anything you pick (just not the tasteless mussels). But it’s the comforts like boozy hot chocolate, thick grilled cheese sandwiches, and bread pudding that keep us coming back." - Nina Reeder

Where to Find the Best Hot Chocolate in Atlanta - Eater Atlanta

"Saints and Council at Colony Square offers a range of hot chocolate selections, including Cookies and Cream and the Consulate. The most decadent option is the Peanut Butter Cup, featuring milk chocolate sweetened with cream, peanut butter-infused whipped cream, and chunks of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups." - Beth McKibben

A New Restaurant Called Saints and Council Is Opening at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta - Eater Atlanta

"Saints and Council is a new restaurant from the CEO of Cafe Intermezzo, opening next summer at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta. It promises a ‘positive’ dining experience without the fixed rules typically associated with a traditional, full-service restaurant and an ‘equitable’ pay structure for employees. The design features a mix of indoor-outdoor seating, a central bar with unique ‘small peninsulas,’ and a team-based service style referred to as ‘memory makers.’ The menu includes breakfast items like Dutch baby pancakes and a variety of small plates, salads, sandwiches, and slow-cooked meats for lunch and dinner." - Beth McKibben

This is a really nice restaurant. I think it is the nicest restaurant within walking distance of the Woodruff Art Museum. It feels like you are in a luxury resort. It is grand and sophisticated. It is luxurious. The host was a little cold, but the server was very friendly. She came to our table several times to check, refill our drinks, give us menu advice, and take care of us. She was really friendly. The plating was very pretty, but the food was not very good.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Saints + Council! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting. We were lucky to have Mark as our server—his service was absolutely top notch. He made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal. Now the food… unbelievable! We shared the cinnamon cream pancakes, huevos in purgatory, and the braised short rib gratin—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like a treat, and we left already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a delicious brunch and top-tier service in a great atmosphere!

Google
Had a quick light dinner here before a show. We sat outside. The space is beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask your waiter for recommendations bc all the food looks awesome and it will be hard to choose. I would recommend the corn cakes and yucca fries - both were wonderfully flavorful. Overall a really nice experience. I would definitely go back.

I really enjoyed my brunch here! Wow! My meal was simple but it everything was delectable. My server was nice and checked on the table a few times. My cappuccino was pretty standard. I like that they have individual bathrooms. Parking is validated for up to two hours. I’ll definitely be back. The restaurant has great ambience - very good for date night or girls night out!

Google
I love S&C! Such a great atmosphere and lovely staff. David was our server today, and he was WONDERFUL!! He was knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu and had jokes and vibes for days✨️ We went for brunch and had such a hard time figuring out what to order bc of all the yummy options, but once we finally settled, EVERYONE was beyond happy with their food and drink choices! I'll be back for sure!!

Google
This is a great place for a lunch date and or meeting over cocktails. The food was A1 and the service was stellar. They also validate parking. The reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because the food was on the salty side and the French bread was a tad dry. But 5 star vibes for sure.

Google
We didn't have a reservation but were able to sit immediately at the bar. Service was friendly and responsive. Between Summer and Martin, all our questions were answered and concerns were addressed. Normally we find espresso martinis too sweet, but after talking to Summer how they are made here, it sounded like they wouldn't be too sweet. She offered to adjust the sweetness if needed, and delivered drinks that were dialed in. We got the shrimp & grits and the Fried Chicken Dutch Baby. Cheesy grits and collard greens were nice touches on the shrimp and grits, The Fried Chicken Dutch Baby combined savory fried chicken and collard greens with the sweetness of maple syrup and German pancake. This was my first time ordering this dish. Next time I'd get the syrup on the side to control the sweetness, but as it was, it was delicious. When the check came, they also brought a post card, that they'll mail after you fill it out. This was a nice touch. Especially if you know people who still enjoy getting something in the mail, which I do.

Google
Clean lines, so much so that it was both sterile and impeccable. This is "a thing" now. I found its jury box clean. Now about the food.. We had the Pork belly, the stuffed oysters, and the crab dip. Me thinks the plate doth come out of the oven too soon. the cheese atop was not melted. Beyond that, the flavors right were on point. Service was polite and attentive. It's a perfect place for a business luncheon or business dinner. They have a lovely wine list and cocktails that impress. Four stars is not too shabby in my book, all in all. I have to comment that $42 for a dozen oysters on the half-shell is a bit excessive.

Yelp
I recently dined at Saints and Council in Atlanta while in town for business meetings, and I was fortunate to have Helen as my waitress. Despite a few hiccups--my chicken wasn't cooked properly, and the restaurant didn't have Johnnie Walker--Helen's service was absolutely stellar. She was attentive, professional, and went out of her way to ensure a positive dining experience. I really appreciated her warm demeanor and quick responses to any concerns. One thing to note is that when seated outside, there are quite a few water bugs that come out from the plants, which might be something to consider for management. I have nothing negative to say about the service. Helen truly made the evening enjoyable. I hope everyone is lucky enough to be served by Helen!

Yelp
On a recent Saturday, my friend and I decided to treat ourselves to brunch at Saints + Council. The restaurant exuded an intimate and classy ambiance, complemented by the soothing melodies of a live band. From the moment we arrived, our waiter was kind and attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations that made us feel well taken care of. I opted for the Guatemala "El Volcan" House Coffee ($3), a medium brew with fruit notes. It arrived steaming hot! For my breakfast choice, I went with the Berry Crunch Dutch Baby ($17). This oven-baked pancake was impressively large and beautifully presented, adorned with an abundance of strawberries, blueberries, blackberry compote, crunchy streusel, and a light dusting of powdered sugar. While I have a sweet tooth, I found the dish to be overwhelmingly sweet, which masked some of the flavors of the berries. Additionally, the seeds kept getting stuck between my teeth, making it a bit less enjoyable. Ultimately, I could only manage to eat half of it. My friend chose the Crispy Chicken Dutch Baby ($21), which came topped with collard chips and hot honey maple syrup. She absolutely loved it, raving about the perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors. While my sweet dish didn't quite hit the mark for me, I would give Saints + Council another try and explore some of its other offerings. It has a diverse menu and a cozy vibe, so I think it's a restaurant worth visiting again.

Yelp
Service: the host spilled a pint of water on me when she sat us at the table. She was not remorseful at all asking "are you okay" like I was emotionally distraught as opposed to soaking wet. She then went back to her post as if nothing happened leaving our server completely in the dark. Afterwards service never adjusted. Our water came out about 15min after ordering. The drinks we ordered were forgotten and placed after our appetizers. The "fresh" oysters came out saturated in a mignonette slaw. We sent them back, but by the time they returned they were warm and dry. 6 of 12 on the dish when they were taken from the table. My entree the Linguine, terrible. It tasted like CAMPBELLs chicken noodle soup. Extremely salty and lukewarm, easy cold shortly after landing at the table. The ambiance is nice if you can handle the flies that attack your meal and the servers that bump your table the entire time. First and last time. Too bad, it's in a really great spot. Food and service aren't worth the disappointment.

Yelp
Very beautiful restaurant, inside and outside. Cocktails are *perfect* and the bartenders are super professional and friendly. Drinks were so good we came back for breakfast the next day. The food was good. It was pricey. The biscuit and jam was a big disappointment, not soft at all and came pre toasted and buttered so it was crispy. Was hoping for a big soft warm biscuit. My sister got the dutch baby. It looked extremely eggy, and was a pool of lemon curd. She ate only part of it, but did say the curd was excellent. My avocado toast was good and the avocado was very fresh and tasty, but there was an absolute mountain of onions. It was very good toast, but there was just too much of it. 2 huge pieces is excessive and should really be shared with someone if you can't have the option of a half order. Recommend.

Yelp
For my first Saints + Council visit, I ordered the Goody Burger with a vegan black bean patty. The toppings are what made this sandwich. The combination of cheddar and American cheese was divine. The caramelized onions, house pickles and remoulade sauce countered the saltiness of the cheese with a sour and sweet tanginess. The black bean patty itself was well seasoned, although a bit mushy, which I know can be a turn off for some, but I didn't mind it. The burger would have been messy either way. The bun was soft and fluffy, but it didn't do the best job holding the sandwich together. The side of shoestring fries were crispy and just salty enough. I really liked the atmosphere inside and the service was great. I hope to return soon to explore more of the menu.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The vibes were very cool - felt like a rustic yet fancy spot with dim lighting. You are definitely transformed when eating here. The food was delicious. I got the braised short rib and it was excellent. My fiancée got the salmon and enjoyed it. We also got the cauliflower and cheese dip appetizer and enjoyed them both. The service was also great and very friendly. They also validate parking.

Yelp
I stopped in on a Thursday night for a date. It was our second date and so I made a reservation. The reservation was honored and the interior was full of muted lighting and dark wood. All of the servers and staff were very friendly. I was told that I had to get the burger. It says that it comes with fries and after some debate I was able to get the fries swapped for Brussels sprouts which was good. The burger itself was very juicy. They clearly used steak to make the burger. Is it the best burger in Atlanta? Maybe not. But is it a phenomenal choice for a reasonable price on their menu. You bet it is. They do validate parking in colony square.

Yelp
Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...I am in Atlanta for a conference and visited this restaurant while on my work trip. Loved the location of this restaurant was in the midst of other restaurants but placed in the right spot. It allowed for a nice feel for a quick bite with friends to a romantic dinner with your boo. The service was great and the food was equally great. The salmon was cooked, seasoned and serviced perfectly! Try it out and tell me your thoughts!
google avatar

Yelp
This was my second time visiting this location, really enjoy it but my chicken was a bit over seasoned & salty. Besides that the banana dessert was incredible. This time we sat outside since the weather was nice. Definitely a must come back during the fall/winter for more desserts!

Yelp
Fantastic outdoor setting in a centralized location perfect for a Sunday midday brunch with family and friends. They provided both fans and heaters to set the weather straight. The service was very attractive checking in on us but not overwhelming. He made sure we had everything we need and allowed us to add seating when more people joined us. We ordered a wide verity of food to share which allowed us to try multiple dishes. It was recommended to try the Dutch boy as a group since it is large and would be too much for one person. It was by fam my favorite dish, rich but airy full of flavors bursting in my mouth. The salad was a hit as well. The dressing was light and refreshing. We enjoyed putting together the bagel selections and avocado toast was extremely full of refreshing flavors. The gratin potatoes with the short rib was a bit plain and needed a bit of seasoning added. Over all everything paired nicely for what we were hoping for.

Yelp
Saints and Council in Midtown Atlanta somehow manages to stay vibrant, like it's been plugged into some cosmic power source. The decor? Beautiful. The atmosphere? Exactly what you need when you're trying to pretend you still know how to have a good time. The service? Enthusiastic, maybe a little too much so. Our waiter checked on us as if we were at risk of wandering off, perhaps disoriented by our second Malbec, needing a guide to find the restroom or the meaning of life. He was a pleasant guy, though. You can't really fault him for over-caring. The Chicken Saltimbocca was exactly what you want it to be: juicy with just the right hit of lemon. The Chimichurri Skirt Steak? Fantastic. We ended with banana bread pudding, and let me tell you, if I wasn't already sold, that did it. A solid night overall. Good job, Saints and Council.

Yelp
My husband and I love trying out new restaurants. We chose Saints + Council to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The ambience was absolutely so romantic and chic. The drinks were delicious and paired well with our appetizers, entree and dessert. We had a lovely cozy booth. Service was great and food was spectacular. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Kelsey K . should be running this is place! our first time dining at this establishment and Kelsey was phenomenal from the beginning of the service right up until the end. She offered great suggestions for appetizers as well as entrées and desserts . She is knowledgeable on every thing that is on the menu and even told us about new and upcoming items that we're gonna be featured on the menu in the future, she took care of our table 100% and even took her time to walk me to the bathroom( who does that these days ) she made us feel really special . We never had a dirty table and one thing that she did , that really stood out was she replaced my silverware after the appetizers and after the entrées. I am not from Atlanta and visiting from the Northeast , you better believe the next time I visit I will revisit Saints and Council and ask for Kelsey. Should she still be around? thank you

Yelp
Had some great apps and the peanut butter pie which was outstanding. Will be back for more next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Spicy mussels is good, love the flavor. Ordered the Goody burger, I think there is ginger in the fries and I didn't like ginger. the chocolate cake was too dense. Would prefer if it's a bit more fluffy. Service was great, waiter was attentive and she recommended the spicy mussels so that's a plus. Although she did recommend the goody burger but I didn't like the ginger taste. If there isn't the ginger taste the fries is actually really good and crispy.

Yelp
Great herbed ricotta toast w tomatoes, I also ordered the shrimp toast but it was sadly not as mind-blowing as the tomato toast. It was a little cold considering the wait time and felt like it had been sitting out for a bit. However I was in a large group so that could account for this. Our server was super friendly and helpful with our orders. The resteraunt was pretty dim and it was hard to see the food as I was eating it, but overall a pretty lively atmosphere. Good for a special occasion but not my top rec for a nicer place to eat, price doesn't seem super justified in terms of food unless you're going for the vibes.

Yelp
Part II Day 2 in Atlanta seeing my best friend and he's been the host with the most. He wanted to introduce me to all his friends in Atlanta since we met in college in Jersey. Was a large group of folks that trickled in in different times, but we had such an amazing night. I am a big believer in the fact that good ppl know other good ppl. If I am being honest, I do not remember what I ate, but everything was delicious. From the beet salad to the drinks, absolutely love! This place is such a swanky place to go on a date or just hang out with dearest friends like we did. I am not an Atlanta native to go back here any time soon, but if I were to go pay a visit to my friend again, I would 100% go here again.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time, the Sunday night atmosphere was a really nice chill vibe. We lead with the Little Gem Caesar, which was a nice size. We also tried the Crispy Glazed Pork Belly and it was to die for. A must try is the Sticky Glazed Pork Tacos, enough to feed the family. Lol The pork shank is pleasantly huge and the summer vegetables had a great taste. The kids had hamburgers that were delicious as well. We ended with Banana Bread Pudding, I enjoyed the bourbon sauce. Alex was our server and made our evening five stars!

Yelp
This is a nice restaurant located in Colony Square. It looks upscale but you can dress casual. They have a brunch, lunch, and dinner menu. A group of us came for brunch. You can park in the parking garage and it's 2 hrs free parking. Don't forget to bring your ticket because the restaurant does validate. Josh was our server and provided great service! I ordered the braised short rib gratin, scrambled eggs, and a sweet tea. It was very good! The all saints breakfast was a popular selection among the group and everyone seemed to enjoy it. If you have a party of six or more people, 20% gratuity is automatically included inn your bill. Someone in our group was told the validation is for two hours. But we found out that wasn't the case after standing in the garage talking for about 15 minutes. I was charged $9.00 (Got there around 10:56am, left restaurant just after 1pm). The food was good, the service was great! I will definitely be back.

Yelp
We had a late lunch here and it was fantastic. I have to say I've had some reservations of eating here as the overall review is around 4. We decided to go as it was close to our hotel. We are glad we did. Saints + Council has a great vibe. They were accommodating with our special requests (we split an entree and also ordered a side Caesar salad). The braised short rib was on point. Tender and flavorful. The cocktails were delicious. We ordered dessert - triple chocolate Cremeux which was excellent. We will definitely be back and try the brunch menu as well. Our waitress Haley did a phenomenal job taking care of us.

Yelp
A dessert coffee. Music. Convo. I can't wait to come back! This is a really nice space and while I wasn't there for food, all of the plates that were coming out around me looked really delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Selection of food was limited before 1700. Drinks excellent. Music atmosphere very typical for midtown. I liked it. They forgot our order but rectified quickly. Roast beef and egg Al gratin was good. Service vet kind. Thank you

Yelp
Another fantastic visit. This time, I attended a birthday celebration during brunch. Our reservation was honored as soon as we were greeted. Live music was performed by violinist Justin Mondie. He performed all types of music. At times I thought a radio was on. He was that good! See attached video for a sneak peek. Our server was delightful. SC celebrated the birthday lady with a choice of a dessert or champagne. She chose the bubbly. Brunch is via menu and not buffet. For our meats, we subbed with chicken sausage. This option wasn't on the menu but the birthday lady knew to ask. Portion sizes are huge. Food was flavorful. However, the person with cinnamon pancakes said the cinnamon was a bit overpowering. Three bites is about all she could handle at one time so she took the rest home. We also had coffees and hot chocolates. We were stuffed when we left. Our only disappointment was they didn't have their famous cinnamon rolls because of how cold it was and dough rising (or something like that). This was my first brunch here so I had never had them before. I look forward to going back to try them. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. With the parking validation from SC, we paid $9 for parking.

Yelp
I can't wait to go back. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was great and the vibe was nice.

Yelp
The ambiance, impeccable. The service, superb! The food simply delicious. I decided to have my birthday dinner at S+C and I wasn't disappointed. We started with two of their crafty cocktails and the crab dip. We got the Hail Mary and Venezuelan Old Fashioned. I didn't care too much for the Old Fashioned and our server gladly took it back and got me an Undercover Angel. That was much better. The crab dip and pita chips were so so good! Absolutely a must! For entrees, I had the salmon and the burger for my husband. Mm mm mm! That's all I can say. I was worried it wasn't enough food as I was really hungry, but we were both super stuffed with food to spare. That didn't stop us from ordering dessert. And this was in addition to the birthday scoop of ice cream and celebration champagne glasses they gave. The banana bread pudding was calling my name and boy was it saying some things to me! Shout out our server Jerry! He was the best! He came with all the great recommendations. Oh and I have to mention the beautiful restrooms. They were beautiful - I want to redo my bathrooms at home S+C was certainly an amazing experience. I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend my birthday.

Yelp
I came here on a Wednesday evening with my family (party of 6) and only had a 15 minute wait. The friendly hostess walked us over to a waiting area near the bar and we ordered some drinks and reviewed the menu while we waited. The espresso martinis were clearly made with love and the old fashioned did not disappoint! The ambiance of the restaurant was amazing. Soft music played as we were led to our table. Our waitress, Alex assisted us in ordering our three courses and all of her recommendations were hits! To start, the spicy mussels, pan roasted shrimp, beet salad and crab bisque were all fantastic. For mains, we family style shared a few plates (pics included) and I must say they were also all amazing. I'd absolutely recommend the braised short-rib dish. And for dessert, the banana pudding and chocolate cake. UN.BE.LEAVE.ABLE!!! I asked around the table for their scores out of 10, and no one rated lower than a 9.We'll absolutely be back to try the remainder of the menu. Thank you Saint and Counsel. Their ratings are accurate, the proof is in the.... Ok ok.

Yelp
It was my son's 17th birthday and he picked this spot to celebrate. It was visually pleasing and the teenagers were excited. It was about 8 people in the group and our server was able to handle us all flawlessly. We ordered crab dip, pork belly and Gouda balls. Dinner orders included 2 salmon dinners, 2 burgers, 2 lamb bolognese, one trout and crab bisque. All was eaten and nothing was sent back . I would definitely stop by here again.

Yelp
In my family, if it's a birthday, we're going out for dinner. My grandmother made 73 so we went to Saints + Council in the popular Midtown hangout, Colony Square. Note for large parties, if it's over 8 people you will need to call and make a group reservation. Saints + Council is a sleek sexy spot with individual booths that serve as your personal little hangout. Share secrets over small plates. Bae and I decided on the smoked chicken and the Goody Burger. The smoked chicken is served with a rosemary demi glaze, au gratin potatoes and asparagus! I opted to get the rosemary demi glaze on the side, then decided I wanted a less savory option and instead got the lemon miso sauce that goes on the salmon. I will be ordering it that way from now on. The au gratin potatoes were great and the asparagus were perfect. Bae's Goody Burger (I did take a small bite ) was well seasoned and the bread was delicious. The fries were just okay. Oysters (stuffed and regular), crab dip with pita points, pan roasted shrimp, and brussels sprouts were all enjoyed by the tables. Although it was a very lively atmosphere, it still felt like other patrons weren't interrupted and neither were we. Our server Alex did a pretty good job of making sure everything was correct. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This restaurant is stunning and tastefully decorated and the food is amazing. We decided to eat here at the last minute and thankfully were able to be seated with no reservation. I would love to go back and enjoy their dinner menu. They had a violinist and he was very talented. Don't wait just go!

Yelp
Saints + Council's "wow" factor is definitely its hospitality and service! We were kindly greeted at the front desk by multiple employees and were offered several options for seating that suited our needs. We sat in the mini lounge area with the comfortable couches next the the live music. Such a vibe--wow. Our waitress, Lauren, was not only serving multiple parties, she was also working the bar. And surprisingly, she didn't miss a beat with my group of three. I was thoroughly impressed with Lauren's attention to detail, timeliness, and kindness. The restaurant was also busy--during weekend brunch--but that didn't stop her from extraordinary service and catering to our every need. Thank you, Lauren! Now to the food--the food was pretty delicious. There are some items that are better than others. The doughnut dippers need a special callout of their own because...yes. Order the doughnut dippers. You can't go wrong with fried dough when done right and the dippers are a nice app before the main course. I and one of my friends ordered the short rib and eggs. My other friend ordered the shrimp and polenta cake. I ordered takeout for my husband: (Al a carte) crispy chicken and potatoes gratin Short rib and eggs: 7/10 The eggs were simply not good. I think restaurants often overlook eggs with hopes of something else being the star of the plate. I would have liked them to use real eggs and not from a box, and to have cooked them properly with seasoning. The short rib was pretty good--under seasoned, but nothing salt and pepper couldn't help fix. Shrimp and polenta cake: My girl said it was delicious (didn't give a number rating) Crispy chicken and potatoes gratin: The hubby gave this dish a strong 7/10. He said the chicken brine was too strong and the pungent cheese in the gratin was somewhat overpowering. But he ate it all, nonetheless. I also ordered the peanut buttercup hot chocolate: 10/10. Overall, I'd definitely go back and try other dishes. The service is exceptional, the ambiance is lovely, and the food is pretty tasty.

Yelp
I loveeeee brunch, and when the presentation matches the ambience and both match the taste... it's amazing. I've never had bad service here , and I'll definitely be returning?

Yelp
The cinnamon toast bread was soo good. The sauces were amazing and it was more than enough to fill me up the services was lovely and on Sundays they had a live musician singing current pop songs.
google avatar

Yelp
Despite a beautiful space, it took a lot of effort to get our food properly prepared. Each of us ordered the salmon, both came out very overcooked, so firm it needed a fork and knife to cut... Also, the Brussels sprouts *first* came out nearly raw. THEN the dessert was brought to us with cold/stiff caramel sauce on the side so it couldn't be poured atop the bread pudding; the server never returned with the warmed sauce and never brought us utensils so the ice cream fully melted before we were able to get anyone's attention. The place pretty but the menu was underwhelming and the experience was surprisingly bad. I will not be rushing to try it again; even then, I may just stick to cocktails.

Yelp
Let's begin with Saints and Council--what a posh name for an equally posh venue! Nestled conveniently within Colony Square, the atmosphere is simply phenomenal. From the restaurant's ambiance to the attentive staff and delicious food, I can't sing enough praises about this place. I just wish Charlotte had a gem like this. Regardless, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I'm certain it'll become a regular haunt for me whenever I'm in town in the future.

Yelp
I thought the food and the service was absolutely amazing. We especially enjoyed the donuts and dipping sauces as an appetizer. I had the shrimp with grit cake, which was beautiful, especially the shrimp very flavorful. I also had some of the scallop potato in the cast-iron skillet of my friend. I thought that was amazingly delicious as well. The ambience of this place is one of the reasons it's so popular. I've been craving brunch and my birthday was the perfect opportunity to try. This spot would definitely go again.

Yelp
This place has THE BEST grilled cheese I've ever had at a restaurant. Go here for lunch and you will not be disappointed. Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Also the serving sizes are fantastic for those of us with a big appetite! Side note, very clever decor having photos of "saints" as a nod to the name. *Chefs kiss*

Yelp
Only giving this 3 stars because of check-in experience. We reserved a patio table for 8:30pm on Friday, were running a little late (10 mins; they have a 15 min grace period), and we called the restaurant to say we are running a few mins behind. They confirmed over the phone that they will hold our table. When we got to the front desk, the hostess told us that our patio side table is no longer available, because we were late, and they will seat us inside. We insisted on being seated outside and had to wait for another 20 mins!! This after having a reservation, showing up within the grace period and calling the restaurant to notify them that we were running late!! This is a wonderful little restaurant in colony square. Parking in colony square is plentiful and they will validate up-to 2 hours of parking. Food is good.. nothing to write home about. We ordered the old fashioned(which was good)and a few starters. My wife loved their lobster and I liked their pickled olives. The pork belly was okay (too sweet in my opinion). For main course, I had the burger, which was a good too. All in all, a decent place to go, they really need to up their service.

Yelp
Dining at Saints + Council was nothing short of AMAZING! Everything from the decor to the ambiance to the food service was superb. My friend chose this restaurant from her previous dining experience and I will say, this restaurant has me now in a choke hold and I will be returning back for more! I ordered the Baked Crab dip, the Smoked Chicken and the Carmelized Banana Bread Puddin' and I'm still reminiscing over how good everything tasted. This restaurant is such a vibe for showing someone new around the city a good time all the way to if you are trying to have a date night/girls night. Now in reading the other reviews, I will say finding the location of this restaurant is very challenging at first but if you ask around someone will point you in the right direction. lol. but at the moment I wasn't laughing. Living in Atlanta and having reservations does not mix well if you travel far and long to almost be late just because you can't find the location of the restaurant. Also, another annoyance which is not on the restaurant but the parking situation. Saint + Council is located at Colony Square in midtown with underground parking. With that being said parking that night was $28. Thank God the machine was broken when it was time to leave because Good Grief. Parking in Atlanta is getting out of hand and is making it really hard to enjoy just dining out properly. Overall, the experience I had was a 10/10 and I highly recommend everyone go try Saints + Council.

Yelp
**Review for Saints and Council** I have been a frequent visitor to Saints and Council since its inception, and each visit reaffirms why I keep coming back. The environment is nothing short of delightful--it's a perfect blend of cozy and chic, making it an ideal spot for everything from casual brunches to intimate dinners. The food is consistently outstanding. Every dish is crafted with care and creativity, offering a wonderful balance of flavors that never fails to impress. Today, I indulged in the avocado toast with egg, and it was prepared to absolute perfection. The toast was perfectly crispy, the avocado fresh and creamy, and the egg cooked just right. Service at Saints and Council is exceptional. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and professional, making every dining experience pleasant and memorable. Saints and Council has set a high standard in both food quality and service, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal in a wonderful setting. Highly recommended! Yours truly, FoodiefromChan

Yelp
Has a group of 6 people at our table. Visiting from out of town. We all loved this place. The service was fantastic. Ricardo made great suggestions and was perfection at making sure we were set throughout the evening. The food was so good. We had the crunch shrimp and the crab dip. Neither disappointed. For dinner, 5 of us chose the skirt steak. It was definitely a clean plate club kind of night. The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavors were on point. The sides of tostones and Brussels complimented the meat in a great way. We all even dipped the tostones in the lingering chimichurri. The sixth guest at our table had a lemon chicken, and ate every last bite on her plate as well. We shared the chocolate cake (was a little too dense for our liking) the Panna cotta and one other (I forget) were a hit. Lastly, the cocktails were a 5star themselves. Seemingly so complex, but yet such simple and smooth to the palate. -as always with bigger parties, check the receipt. Our 20% was already added to the bill. Wish we had cash to tip Ricardo more. (We couldn't on our business cards) This place is a great choice!!

Yelp
Top five dishes in Atlanta is the Chicken Dutch which is their version of chicken and waffles but with a sweet crepe breading drizzled in hot honey laced with crispy collard green chips and of course moist pieces of friend chicken. This is a must for any foodie visiting the ATL!!!! Nice atmosphere and excellent service

Yelp
The theming of this restaurant is modern and cozy, but the photos on the wall sent me in a good way. Was greeted with a warm fire when we entered so I love that. The seater and waitress we had were so kind and gave great recommendations! The pan roasted shrimp was full of so many great flavors due to the sauce. Only thing I'd change is make the bread a little crispy. The salmon I got was delicious. I truly enjoyed the sauce they also paired with it and ate every bite. Even the side potatoes and asparagus were perfectly cooked and I loved every bite. The truffle fries and sauce were also really good. The Oreo hot chocolate was so sad. It tasted watered down and truly wasn't satisfying which was disappointing but because everything was good I can't complain too much! Would definitely go back.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I came here on a Friday night to celebrate a friend birthday. The location of the restaurant was a little hard to find but once we found it was easy to get to and from the parking deck. The location of the restaurant was in a very nice area as this was my first time here. The food, service and hospitality were Great! We ordered one of each items from the appetizer and a few of the main entrees and just shared! EVERYTHING was amazing definitely worth every penny spent! I would say my favorite entree was the chilled sea bass it was cooked to perfection. 10 stars for the chef!! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Yelp
Saints and Council is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots in Atlanta! Phenomenal from start to finish. I went with a group of five friends, and every part of the meal was outstanding. We started with a variety of drinks, and each one was absolutely delicious. The appetizers were incredible--everything from the olives to the roasted cauliflower and ricotta was exceptional. For dinner, the experience only got better. The miso-glazed salmon was so good, you'd want to drink the glaze. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection, and the flank steak was not only mouthwateringly delicious but beautifully presented as well. And then came dessert--wow! The bread pudding was easily one of the best we've ever had, and the peanut butter pie? Pure yum! Our waiter was attentive, made excellent recommendations, and truly added to the wonderful experience. This is a top-tier restaurant, and we can't wait to come back again. It's quickly becoming a must-visit spot in the city

Yelp
Finally checked out this spot. The decor is lavish. It has a warm vibe. The service was good. It would have been great if the server would have asked if I wanted her to get me another lemon drop. I ordered a lemon drop and asked for it not to have a sugar rim. Well when it was delivered it had a sugar rim. She said I see they put the sugar on it anyway for you and walked away. I assumed she was going to get it remade, but no. I had to call her over and ask her to have it remade without the sugar rim. My new drink was perfectly refreshing. The stuffed oysters were amazing!!! I could have eaten another order of them. The crab dip was ok. I've had better. The burger was delicious!!! I truly enjoyed it and the fries. I'm definitely adding this to my date night list!!!

Yelp
Nice restaurant with easy ambiance and quick service . My friends and I ran about 20 minutes late for our reservation, we called and gave them a heads up and they seated us as soon as we arrived. The food was great and so were the drinks. We had oysters, mussels, & salmon. They were cooked well and were tasty. Our server was pleasant and courteous. The area is nice & picturesque; we had a photo shoot afterwards.

Yelp
I reallly enjoyed this place!!! The aesthetics of this restaurant is definitely giving a date night vibe. They have a patio with a fire place and an actual fire place on the inside. I also feel for the area the bill was very reasonable. I had the chicken with mash and asparagus. The mash was amazing and so was the chicken. I find in most places chicken can be very dry, but this wasn't! The reason I gave this restaurant a 4 star is because I didn't like the fact you couldn't substitute certain items on the menu. Our waiter was amazing and attentive. I would definitely be visiting again soon!

Yelp
The only complain I have about this restaurant is that it is a bit challenging to find, but once I found it, the experience was GREAT! We came on a Monday afternoon where the host and servers were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. We sat outside on the patio which is between multiple buildings which was really nice on such a hot day because we were able to avoid the direct sunlight. There is a parking garage and they validate parking which made parking a breeze. The food was absolutely delicious and filling. We had the cavatelli, the trout, and the steak frites and all enjoyed every last bite. The drinks were also pretty good. Although they were not able to customize any of the drinks on the menu (switch out the alcohol or remove ingredients) our waiter was great at suggesting other options, including creating our own drinks. I will definitely be back and am excited to try their brunch as well which looks delicious!

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely brunch on a Sunday. Our server was so sweet and attentive to us. She provided all the options we wanted to know about and more. She didn't rush us although it was busy and her shift was ending. Food was pretty delicious too. I had the short rib and eggs and the short rib was very good. Cooked perfectly! The restaurant is also a nice vibe too. Very well put together! Sundays are busy busy busy fyi! I will definitely return again.
