Sak Yant Chiang Mai | Traditional Thai Tattoo

I would like to tell you about my experience of getting a Sak Yant tattoo at Sak Yant Chiang Mai. I paid 1000 baht extra to keep the shop open on Saturday 21st February. My appointment was for 17.00 hours but I arrived in good time at 16.30 hrs in order to mentally prepare and relax. The staff were very helpful around five days earlier when I was choosing the tattoo. I was able to sit in comfort and flick through the book whilst I chose my design and the staff were open to help me with my various questions. I was eventually led upstairs into a sitting with Ajarn Sek and his assistant. I did the offering and took my position. The tattoo was done very quickly surprisingly...I thought I would have to endure a much longer sitting. The tattoo process took around 30-40 minutes and was painful but not excessively so. The blessings was done, photographs were taken and I left a veryhappy customer. Ajar Sek suggested I would be back and I certainly will be. I was led downstairs for some tea. I highly recommend Sak Yant Chiang Mai. It is a wonderful experience and well worth the money.

I went for a full back piece with master Aj Sak and his assistant Happy. I received the best hospitality from all the staff and felt so welcomed from the moment i went in. They help explain and accommodate to any modifications. They bought me a lovely lunch to have afterwards in the garden as well, honestly such amazing people here

The best experience of my life. I booked through the website and the whole process was extremely easy and smooth. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The staff helped me choose the design with so much patience and care, especially since I wasn’t completely sure at first. The tattoo artist did an amazing job — very precise and professional — and the session didn’t take long at all. The studio is spotless, and the attention they give to each client is truly outstanding. I was accompanied by Yok, who was absolutely wonderful: kind, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process. She even took photos during the tattoo, which I really appreciated. We had an absolutely amazing experience getting our Sak Yant tattoo at Sak Yant Chiang Mai, and we truly cannot recommend them enough. We deliberately waited an extra year before writing this review so we could honestly show how the Sak Yant looks after one year of healing. In the beginning, the tattoo consists of small dots, which naturally spread slightly over time and eventually form lines. We are both incredibly happy with the final result. The entire experience from start to finish was outstanding. The service from all staff members was fantastic. Everyone was kind, professional, welcoming, and very helpful. We were well guided and advised throughout the process, which made us feel comfortable and respected at all times. We do recommend that you take the time to inform yourself properly beforehand, using the detailed information they provide when you make an appointment. This really helps you understand the tradition, the process, and what to expect afterward. Our Sak Yant was done by Ajarn Sam, and we have nothing but praise for him. His skill, craftsmanship, quality, and deep experience are truly exceptional. All in all, an incredible experience on every level, from the tattoo itself to the people, the service, and the atmosphere. Truly unforgettable.

I just finished my first Sak Yant and will be going back for my full back. The whole experience of receiving this traditional style tattoo is incredibly special and unique and there’s a very intentional feeling connected to it. Not to mention Ging and Yok at the front desk make the experience extra special with their kindness, helpfulness and joyful energy! I highly highly recommend Sak Yant Chiang Mai
