"An old-school Wembley favourite that’s best-known for its buffet (yes, we said buffet), Sakonis is a big, comfortable, bungalow-feeling Indian vegetarian restaurant that’s been feeding friends and families since the mid-'80s. Like any buffet setup, some things blow hot and cold, sometimes quite literally. The chickpea curry has plenty of depth and the paneer masala is a vivid orange comfort blanket of a dish. Look around the room and most tables—be it elderly friends, several generations of family, or roaming kids—are eagerly sharing plates of chilli paneer and Szechuan noodles. The Indo-Chinese dishes are definitely worth ordering fresh, as are the excellent crispy bhajiya." - jake missing

The food was great we had dahi vada, kachori, chow mein and chole bhature. The ambiance is fine with music. I think they need to improve the service because there was only one guy and he was on the phone with head down and had to wait 10 minutes to get his attention. Definitely visit it again.

Came here for my mums birthday on a Saturday. It was very busy so definitely recommend booking a table. We all opted for the buffet which was the most cost efficient option. The food was delicious, I expected a bit more variety with the curries as there was quite a lot of paneer. And more variety needed with desserts too. However it was all really delicious and I would definitely eat here again. The staff were really friendly, service was a bit slow though.

Nice clean pure vegetarian restaurant. We had the buffet. So much choice and variety. Good value for money. Only disappointing factor was we were charged a service charge! Wasn't happy about that considering we go get our own food. We ordered nothing else except 2 buffets and 1 passion drink. Service charge was just under £6. Not great.

I just wanted to take a moment to express how much I enjoyed my recent visit to your restaurant. The new decor is stunning—both stylish and inviting—and it creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As always, your staff impressed me with their exceptional service. They were incredibly attentive and respectful, going out of their way to ensure my elderly parents felt comfortable and well taken care of, which I greatly appreciated. And, of course, the food was absolutely delicious! Thank you for consistently delivering such a memorable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Can't fault this Gujarati place. The buffet is excellent and they're very vegan-friendly. They'll even freshly prepare vegan versions of some buffet items for you that aren't vegan. I'd also add that the restaurant staff are always very kind, welcoming and helpful to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. The décor is very well done, especially the paintings on the wall that share the restaurant's history.

Went to Sakonis with family for the dinner buffet and I must admit that it stays usually packed but surprisingly we got a table even though we walked in. The food quality was just average if you consider that they charge £23 per person for dinner buffet. They have a good variety of options available and yes it’s all vegetarian. Overall I would say this place is must go if you want to have a whole variety of food but do consider the pricing as it is a little on the upper side.
