I really enjoyed my experience here. My co-workers and I visited this location in hopes of finding a nice Colgan. Once we arrived at the upper floor, the sales pitches were flying. I must say I learned a lot in a small window. I watched a scent I selected being made for me. It was a nice experience.

Iconic store that is a must visit if in new york. It has all the designer brands, there is something for everyone. Staff were great, store was clean and very busy. My daughter was mesmerised by the fashion. Would love to go back.

I recently ordered 16 expensive silk ties from Saks's online store. To my surprise, each of the ties arrived folded in a small plastic envelope. The first thing to know about silk ties is that they should *never be folded*. The mere act of folding will warp the fabric, which can ruin a tie. When I unfolded them, my concerns were confirmed: each tie had huge creases running from side to side. To undo the creases, I ironed them gently using the “Silk” setting of my iron. Although that undid the creases, there was nothing I could do about those areas being warped from folding. You would think that a store as reputable as Saks would know how to treat silk ties, but as of this writing, their packing process (folding them into small plastic envelopes) damages the ties. It is standard when shipping silk ties to avoid folding, either by laying them flat in longer boxes, or by gently rolling them up. I hope for the sake of future customers that Saks adopts a more appropriate way of packing ties. I will complain to management to try to get them to improve their process, which I imagine has ruined hundreds if not thousands of fine silk ties by now. Until they do, I would advise others to not buy any silk ties online from Saks.

The window displays are so cute this year! The lights are sponsored by Dior and they don’t disappoint! It seems like there is a light show every 10 mins or so which is fantastic. You could spend hours looking at all the decorations. Job well done!!

Wow, what can I say? This display is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step foot on the avenue, you're transported into a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, dazzling decorations, and an atmosphere of pure holiday joy. It's a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and create lasting memories with friends and family. Definitely deserving of 5 stars for its magical atmosphere and unforgettable experience.

I had bought a blazer here years ago and it finally grew too derelict to wear, so I returned for another one. Saks has certainly gotten way more upscale; unlike years ago, finding a relatively inexpensive item on a clearance rack just won't be happening. Very elite store, with every luxury brand one could imagine (figuratively).

This place use to be amazing, not so much anymore. The lady working here wasn't very helpful. The selection here has always been pretty big. Prices are generally on the higher side of things. So do expect that. I found a shirt I liked, which said it was discounted. When I got to checkout, they wouldn't honor it. I wanted it bad, so I got it anyway, but they should have honored it.

Snooty and rude at Chanel beauty. I was there and the only lady was an older lady with blond hair. She refused to help me access my electronic gift card. She lashed out at me for taking up her time, because I didn't know how to find the PIN number. Then she talked badly about me, out loud, while I was still in Chanel Beauty. She assumed I couldn't hear. She was so loud as she told the other salesladies that I was wasting her time because I couldn't get my PIN number to the gift card. I had to call customer service and Jonathan helped me. He apologized on my behalf. And asked what was that lady's name. That older lady was only "nice" when she knew I was buying a Chanel hand cream. Once I struggled with finding my PIN number, she lashed out at me and grew irate with me.

Saks used to be one of my favorite stores but the service is not the same as it used to be. They have good taste but their order fulfillment is so flawed now. You need to purchase 300$ worth of stuff if you want free shipping on line. Which is fine. But then they will ship each item separately which will result in pending transaction and loss of time waiting for FedEx. Then also sometimes they can forget about the order and just leave it in progress. I also would really appreciate if they make it clear on line if the shoes are men or women. Hoping for improvement in the future.

I'm in Saks 5th Ave & needed a bite to eat. I ran into this beautiful & very clean bistro nook on the 4th floor. Check it out! I'm having a quinoa salad bc I'm not that hungry & a cappuccino but they have croissants muffins & coffee etc. Even, if ur in the area & just want to step in to cool off from the heat & browse later lots of 60% off sales presently. Hello, I ordered shoes from sak fifth branch since November 29 to use as wedding shoes on December 14. Until now I still have not received the shoes. I contacted them many times why I still have not received the shoes. They could not give me an answer. They blamed fed ex company and fed ex gave the reason that they could not contact me. Which is not true because we are at home every day waiting for our wedding shoes. If they could not contact us at least they should have left a note saying that they could not find us. But they did not even deliver. Until now, not only have I not received the shoes, I have not received the refund. This is the second time that I am very disappointed with buying from this branch, especially this time because it is my wedding day. I chose shoes from this brand to be my wedding shoes. Disappointed time and time again with Dior.

This is Saks' flagship store in Midtown Manhattan on Fifth Avenue that opened in 1924. After Saks & Co. merged with Gimbel Brothers, Inc., they opened this iconic store. It is ten stories high and has three facades with several American flags. The exterior of the building has several large glass display windows on the ground level for pedestrians to enjoy the latest fashion trends. I like coming here during the holiday season and seeing the light show on the front of the building. The inside of the store is lavishly decorated for the holidays and looks like winter wonderland. Go check out the tree and holiday lights at nearby Rockefeller Center and then come over here and do some shopping. The window displays are decorated for the holidays and get better and more creative every year.

A lot of these negative reviews are related to online issues, not this actual store (which is the physical flagship Saks store). Cmon. I've been a Saks customer for a long time, but mostly online. I don't get to one of the stores very often. The Chicago & BH stores are nice but this one is my favorite. The store is absolutely stunning & truly iconic. Some of the staff isn't always the warmest people you have ever met but I've been able to get help whenever needed. I bought a bag in the Celine store here most recently and both sales associates were friendly and were able to locate what I was looking for even though it was in a different area of the store. Also the Prada associates are nice as well. I would come here absolutely anytime I need something designer. Love. Truly a fashion lovers dream space inside.

This has been one of the worst shopping experiences of my life. I went and bought a bunch of items in the New York store. They offered to ship it back to me in Miami and never received the items. They said it would take 2 to 3 days. I called a week later couldn't get anyone on the phone finally when I got someone on the phone they never mailed the items and I told them to stop the order, but then they put the order in and it still hasn't shipped And it's gonna be two weeks when I could've put the clothes in my suitcase. I've called and left several messages for managers to call back. They forgot one of the items in the order and charge me for it and I'm trying to get a credit but no one returns my call. This is the worst experience ever.

I purchase online from Saks on occasion because they no longer have a store in my city. Recently purchased a designer skirt for $500. Decided to return as the quality didn't match the price and it appeared to have been previously worn. Got it shipped back per Saks return instructions immediately. Received an email from Saks that return has been received and is being processed. The item was purchased almost 4 weeks ago. So now my funds are tied up awaiting Saks to process the return, and I don't have the merchandise. I have had returns with Saks in the past for items purchased online and it's never taken more than 2 - 3 weeks to receive a credit. Adding insult to injury, they now charge for shipping (no free shipping on my $500 purchase even though I attempted to use the FREESHIP promo code) and another charge for the return. What a racket! There's a Reddit post about Saks' handling of returns and it echoes my experience. The negative reviews are as long as my arm. Sure wish I'd seen this before making the purchase! Avoid this unethical retailer. And since Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman are now under Saks ownership, avoid them as well. I hope all of the negative posts get enough attention that buyers stop dealing with these dishonorable businesses.

Once again the flagship store on Fifth Avenue was just beautiful for the holidays. Hundreds of thousands of lights dress up the windows facing Fifth Ave and all ten floors of the store. This year is a joint venture with Christian Dior. The theme Carousel of Dreams is absolutely stunning. A giant zodiac like clock covers the entire outside of the store. The Carousel of Dreams follows the fascinating story of Christian Dior's first visit to New York in 1947. His journey from Paris to New York City, with a mix of references to landmarks and to the Dior fashion house. Each window was more magnificent thatn the one before and the entire store was decorated beautifully. If you want to get into the Christmas Spirit just take a a walk down fifth Avenue, to Saks and grab a selfie in front of one of the iconic windows.

Saks Fifth Avenue is such a beautiful store in New York City. The only drawback is that everyone wants to be there at the same time, especially during the holidays. I would venture to say that they have the best decorations in the City.

I was expecting more holiday decorations on the exterior of the building, mostly decorated in the displays. Maybe there wmore to come after or around thanksgiving? I just see the big Christian Dior Saks sundial on the front 5th Avenue. Very colorful interior.

I ordered a dress in store (SAKS FIFTH AVE NYC), since they did not have my size. When I got home I went online and saw that the same exact item was $54.00 cheaper. I called customer service online to ask for a price adjustment and was told that the online store and the physical store were 2 separate entities. I called the store and was connected to customer service. I explained the issue and the person cancelled my order and I then proceeded to order the one online for less. Well, the order was NEVER cancelled and the package was shipped. Now I was charged for 2 dresses! This is not good customer service!

It's NYC's version of Harrods - what's not to like?! A beautiful, bright and clean department store housing the largest luxury fashion houses! The sales associates are all friendly and eager to help you. The facilities are pristinely clean and beautifully decorated. It's a NYC icon for fashion lovers! There are some mid-luxury stores on display as well but they just don't have a large stall like the high-luxury ones like Hermes, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Channel, etc. Personally, I wouldn't purchase anything here, but it's a good way to check out materials or sizes of items that you've been eyeing online, especially the mid-luxury items because they're in an open display case and have likely been touched and tried by hundreds of people. It is expensive but that's expected because of the brands that they house. I rate this a 5 out of 5 for its iconic status in NYC culture as well as its decorative designs. I have never purchased anything here because of my view of department stores in general. I think it's a must-see place for tourists since it's beautiful, free and free! This place is a must travel to for the holidays because they always have a gorgeous light display by the front on 5th Avenue. This year (2023), the building partnered with Christian Dior and designed the most beautifully intricate display and light show it's ever had!

I mostly shop online from Sake because it is more convenient but coming to the store is always a present. Department store is dying but to be able to see the real stuff is still better than ordering online then if didn't fit you have a choice to return either in the store which you will get refund faster or return by mail will take more time and you will have to deal with waiting. I bought a bag and didn't fit so I bring it back. The person who accept my return really like my bag so maybe he will buy it after I return. Good for him. The reason I gave this stars because no one care when you ask for direction. It was funny, start from I stepped in. The doorman keep looking at me, when I ask, he didn't know anything about the mall, LOL. Second, I walk to the escalator, there was another security guard and couldn't help. Another SA only know her store so at the end I have to walk around then found out myself the place to return.

I use to adore shopping here. But recently it has been going more and more down hill with customer service but my main disappintment was the lack of lights this holiday season! I had family in town and they always wanted to experience the city in all its holiday glory! Bring them back please. Still use saks but will do most shopping online.

This store had one of the coolest holiday displays I've ever seen. It was a giant animated astrology clock and put on a show every 30 min! It was beautiful. Also, this store is located directly in front of the side view of the Rockefeller center, which was a happy surprise!

If there's anything that could make NYC's Fifth Avenue busier than its usual crowd of tourists, it's the extravagant window displays that emerge for the holidays. It's hard to beat Saks Fifth Avenue's holiday displays, as they can be among the most extravagant of them all, so my partner, our guests and I went Saturday afternoon to see them. Saks is located across the street from the iconic Rockefeller Center tree. Upon arrival, one can't help noticing a giant, clock-like zodiac display covering the 10-story facade, paying homage to Christian Dior. The Carousel of Dreams follows the fascinating story of Mr. Dior's first visit to New York in 1947. His journey tracks from Paris to New York City, including a mix of references to landmarks and nods to the fashion house. This will be up until January 5.

I use to love coming here, but from now on I'll doubt that I'll return. I bought a pair of shoes, unworn - not used, with tags. TRied to do an exchange, and they wouldn't honor it. Not sure why? I want to give negative 5 stars. I bought an MCM 380 dollar luxury belt with a defective buckle less than 6 months ago. I came in with the belt and receipt. I thought it would be a simple return or store credit at the least. The manager and salesmen I spoke with were profoundly hostile and refused even a free repair. It gets worse. Because the customer service and repair policy was so draconian I just asked for a printed new receipt so I could bring my belt to MCM for repair. I had to beg and plead with 3 huffing and puffing employees in the returns department to simple print out a new paper receipt. The manager finally emailed me the receipt kicking and screaming for me to print. Once you buy something at this store no matter how defective it is the management will aggressively fight and refuse any type of accommodation. The men's department employees and managers are outright scumbags. I hope this company goes bankrupt soon.

It's best to avoid purchasing low-value but fragile items from Saks' online store. I ordered a $65 ornament along with other products to qualify for a promotion where spending $3,000 would earn a $900 gift card. However, the ornament arrived broken, wrapped only in thin plastic without any protective box. When I reached out to customer service via text and provided a photo of the damaged item, they informed me that I could get a $65 refund, but this would cause me to lose the $300 difference in the gift card value, as my purchase total would no longer meet the $3,000 threshold, dropping it to the $2,000 level with a $600 gift card. I then called their phone support, hoping for a better resolution. The response was the same, though they offered a 10% discount on the broken item, effectively a $6.50 refund if I kept it without requesting a full refund. Weighing the potential $300 gift card loss against the $65 refund, I opted not to pursue the refund and retain the original $900 gift card. More importantly, I declined the $6.50 "compensation" from Saks, finding it to be INSULTING. It was a very disappointing experience--I ended up with a broken $65 ornament and spent an hour dealing with customer service for an unsatisfactory resolution. I searched for news about Saks online and discovered that the company owes hundreds of thousands of dollars to vendors. With this new perspective, I've decided to let go of the $65 issue without further complaints. At the very least, I can say I've been more generous than Saks, which could only offer $6.50 as compensation for a broken item.

Saks Customer Service Team, I am appalled by what you call "customer service" . I have been a long-time customer of Saks based in San Francisco. I moved to Santa Fe, NM and recently purchased multiple items including the shoes you mentioned. First I ordered a size 39(9) as that is my usual size, order#: 317185707. However, the Size 9 was too large. I tried the shoes on in my house (with hard wood floors). I did not wear them after trying them on. Per my order records you will see that I ordered the size 38(8) and kept those. I returned the size 9, expecting a full refund. It is obvious the shoes were not worn. I called and spoke with a customer service representative, who told me I would receive a return label so that I could return them to you for further inspection. Instead, I received the email from you stating "Upon thorough review of your case it has been determined that the return was rejected due to damages after purchase, scratches along soles; therefore, we cannot process the request for a return label". Based on this poor customer experience - I will never purchase another item from Saks. Online shopping is the norm these days and if Saks desires to continue with a good reputation for online shopping, your customer service representatives need to be more cognizant of online service for returns. If I had tried the shoes on in the store, your sales reps would have encouraged me to try the shoes on and walk on Saks Fifth Avenue tile floors, which would have left minor scratches on the shoe. I am very dissatisfied with Saks Customer Service for online shopping.

This beautiful Christmas light show is made up of thousands of LED lights synchronized to holiday music projected onto the side of Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store. The light show kicked off on November 22nd, but I'm only visiting it this past weekend. Around 5 minutes long, the show takes place every 10 minutes from 5-11pm nightly. That evening me and my friends got to enjoy a medley of Elton John hit songs! Saks also has some of the best holiday window displays of all 5th Avenue. Happy Holidays!

I've worked in luxury retail in Beverly Hills for years, and worked at Saks in Beverly Hills for 3 years; I had the worst shopping experience ever here. I went up to the mens floor to look around and selected a couple pieces I wanted to try on and needed other sizes in. Not ONE person greeted me, checked on me, or attempted to help me. There was one guy in the casual mens side of the department looking up prices for the only other customer on the floor on an iPad and completely ignored me, who had armfuls of clothing and was ready to purchase at least $4000 of clothing. I walked into the Dolce&Gabbana department and again, another guy just telling someone prices completely ignoring me. It would've taken 5 seconds for someone to unlock a fitting room for me and they can get back to playing around on the iPad rambling off prices for their bargain bin customers. I walked downstairs to the shoes/sportswear floor interested in a Fendi shoe and did four laps around the floor where 5 associates were lounging around ignoring me, 1 associate was actively helping a group of customers. The only person to speak to me was someone who worked for Brunello Cucinelli. I went up to the clothing floor again and once again, associates are just looking up prices on iPads. I was so frustrated I dropped everything I was interested in on a table, walked out, and spent my money at Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdales. Helping me out would have taken all of 5 minutes and would've resulted in a $4000 cross sale for anyone who could've practiced basic customer service skills and manners. All I needed was a fitting room and for someone to press a couple buttons on a register. I no longer work for Saks and will never spend a dime of my money at any Saks location.

Few luxury stores are as famous as Saks in New York, even though I like a good deal and good value, I also enjoy top quality shopping that will look great and last a long time...this is what you get at Saks. Top brands with lasting quality and wear. We checked the men's store and found some nice brand name items and also a few sale items that were a great deal. The staff is always ready to answer any questions and they are very polite and professional. Saks Fifth Avenue was the brainchild of Horace Saks and Bernard Gimbel, who operated independent retail stores on New York's 34th Street at Herald Square in the early 1900s. Their dream was to construct a unique specialty store that would become synonymous with fashionable, gracious living. The combined financial input of these great merchant families led to the purchase of a site between 49th and 50th Streets on upper Fifth Avenue, then jointly occupied by the Democratic Club and the Buckingham Hotel. With the opening of its founders' "dream store" on September 15, 1924, Saks Fifth Avenue became the first large retail operation to locate in what was then primarily a residential district. The lady working here was not nice. Not just that, I complained, some 'manager lady' had a similar attitude. I tried to do a simple return on something neve worn, with receipt, not used. Had problems. The selection here is ok, but don't expect any customer service

Years ago, I visited Saks 5th Ave. store on a number of occasions! As soon as I started working, I was able to get a number of credit cards in my name. At one point, I wanted to buy a nice classic raincoat, so I went to Saks. My mother my aunt & I, were looking around & I saw a raincoat hanging behind the sales ladies, & I wanted to try it on. I requested the raincoat, & the sales lady told me: " that raincoat is probably not going to fit you, & besides you probably would not be able to afford it"!. Since they overheard us speaking in Spanish, they didn't even wanted to waste their time, letting me try it on! I realized as to why they didn't want to help me, & I was very upset & disappointed! Since I saw a supervisor, I explained the situation & she brought the raincoat out, I did try it, & I could afford it. SO: I bought it! This type of profiling, & discriminatory practices are hard for me to understand! Specifically in a city as diverse as NYC is! After a few additional visits, I haven't gone by to Saks 5th Ave. It was NEVER a pleasure for me to go shopping, at department stores, or at supermarkets! Since I do have Internet Service, I have been buying my clothes online, for years now, & also my groceries!. I don't miss snobbish pretentious sales people! Another NYC memory!

If you're shopping in NYC, Saks is a must visit store. The men's department is like most stores, smaller than women's. However the selection isn't bad, plenty of Canali to browse. Every designer you may want can be found here. The women section is filled with sale items but the deals are in the clearance area for women. Start there and work your way through the store. The purse selection is expansive. Some of the entrances are roped off and some of the sales reps will get on your nerves with how they treat their store, it's not a nightclub. Let people in the store. Odd thing happened, my wife was in looking at purses and when I walked up the guy didn't want to let me in to shop. Bad decision, now we are not buying at all from your store. The sales rep helping the Mrs. apologized for the confusion, but sorry no thanks. I will take my money elsewhere. Especially, when in the apology she said that happens often to black customers. She gave us her card for us to order and design item for the wife from her but we decided otherwise. The store is nice and don't let the bad interfere with the good. If you are a designer clothes buyer, this is a must stop.

My wife and I purchased a pair of Piaget rings at this store back in May. Richard the salesman who helped us finding the ring and making the transaction, told us that the ring will be arriving at the store no later than 6 weeks after the purchase. The rings ended up taking 2 entire months to arrive. Upon arrival we ordered some engraving, which Richard said should take up to 2 weeks -- today is the 4th week and we are still waiting. Adding to the pain of excruciating waiting is the non-responsiveness of Piaget. Note that this store is NOT a direct shop of Piaget, rather it is sort of an authorized dealer. They communicate with Piaget with emails with horrific efficiency. According to Richard he has been sending Piaget emails and emails to inquire the status of our order, but Piaget just did not respond. I have to say that as much as I want to like Richard, he is not the best salesman you want to make a purchase with. With our exceptionally delayed case he has not been proactive to help as the middleman. I have to go to him every time for him to give me any update at all. This store, this brand and this salesman together delivered the worst buying experience I have ever had. Richard refused to provide me any insight into what the possible causes might be for this disaster, so I can only equally blame all parties involved. Avoid them if you can. If you have to buy from Piaget, buy online, you'll have a better chance getting a less horrific experience as I did.

Be aware of buying at Saks Fifth Avenue On-line Website!!! The company partners with CDL logistics for delivery and CDL drivers are stealing the packages. They take a picture of the package in some floor, upload on their tracking information and take the package back with them. Saks did absolute nothing regarding this fraud and I had to pay something I did not receive.

Do not shop at saks.com. Horrible service. Frustrating customer service and they will take a long time to respond and return your money.

This is in regards to the Louis Vuitton inside Saks. We purchased Gucci, Versace, and Dior with no problems. This was awful. I purchased two sets of earring for my daughter. They had one and not the other. My wife purchased shoes and sunglasses. Everything went wrong that could go wrong and to look for help was a nightmare. The shoes were found and delivered in a week. Ok. There were some issues like no communication but it was also hard to find our order (even though we had the order number) and find where it was and when it would be delivered. $1500 pair of shoes. You would think they wouldn't lose it. The. My daughter's earring and wife's sunglasses. I spent over 6 hours trying to find the order. They couldn't find it or no one would pick up. Absolutely awful. It arrived today and I am grateful we received the merchandise but it was an awful experience.

Been here twice and seen the show I highly recommend seeing it once. It's awesome especially if your into the Christmas lights. But be warned it is crowded.

Saks has the worst customer service. I ordered 2 Akris Punto coats online in different sizes. Neither fit, so I sent them back. FedEx says Saks received them Sept. 16. On Sept. 26 I received a bill from Saks for $3,679.98 for the coats. Saks refuses to credit my account, even though they have the merchandise. They say it takes 30 days to credit an account, but payment of my bill is due before that date. I told Saks I will not pay this bill, and I will not pay any late fees that accrue to my account. No company in America takes 30 days to issue a credit for returned merchandise. I have been a Saks customer since 1974. I'm finished.

I am very disappointed in Saks Fifth Avenue. I bought 8 dresses in two separate orders for a wedding in late April. I tried all of the dresses on and kept one and returned the others within a few days. All of the dresses were tried on the same day/ time. I received an email from Saks saying they received one of my returns and had submitted a return for me. The other order ( that was sent back same day as other order ) was never acknowledged until the package was returned to me June 1 with a note that said the dresses had been worn and I would not be receiving a refund. The two dresses in the order had all of the tags on - including one on front of the dress. I called Saks Fifth Avenue customer service who told me to send in pictures- which I promptly did and two days later I received an email stating the dresses had deodorant stains on them and their decision was final. I then called again and finally reached the customer service manager named Westley. Westley agreed with me after I sent him pictures again and proceeded to tell me that the distribution center makes these decisions and they have had many complaints similar to mine where the item was not worn but they decide not to refund money. Westley stated that he would personally reach out to corporate and felt like I would receive a positive outcome. Two days later- email and from customer service from corporate that said since the department in charge of inquiries has declared merchandise non salable I would not be getting a refund. The other issue is that they waited until after the 30 day return date to even send the dresses back without any correspondence. I recommend never buying anything from Saks that you are not 100% sure you are keeping because apparently the distribution center randomly makes decisions on what merchandise to keep or return back to customers without examining the merchandise.

I ordered brown shoes online and Saks sent black shoes. After numerous calls and emails to customer service they refuse to send the correct brown shoes paid for in exchange for the black shoes. They asked for pictures and I sent the pictures. They admit they sent the wrong shoes but stil will not send the shoes I paid for.

This FAMOUS FLAGSHIP SFA is AWESOME! I love the architecture of this NINE LEVEL location and the BEAUTIFUL gold/wood elevators this place offers. So I highly recommend visits from everyone!

My friend brought me here to do some shopping while we were in new york. Saks Fifth Avenue is like a high-end mall filled with designer stores. I think it's a cool place to experience even just for window shopping.

Bought a bottle of Creed Aventus cologne as a gift for my husband, his favorite to replace one running low. He goes to finally use it and it's been switched with some awful old man scent! It's as good as trash. Saks wouldn't return or even offer a discount on a new one since it's outside of their ridiculous return policy. Buy from literally anywhere else! They're out here selling fake products and charging people $400+.

#SaksFifthAvenue is horrible & does not want to refund customers with on line returns. worse experience ever. After 30 days they still give you a hard time and they also send back merchandise stating used. This company is dishonest and greedy...stay away and order elsewhere. Customer service is awful with no answers to your questions. Dont trust this company with refunds. Go through your financial institution to get a chargeback and report them if they take longer than 30 days since that's their policy. Warn everyone you know. They should not be in business.

Dealing with on line orders with Saks has been a nightmare. You can wait over 30 days to get a refund and if I did call many times they would not have given my money back ! I bought a dress and the next day it went on sale and they refused to give me the difference. I bought a dress and I never got it.

This review is for Saks.com. I purchased two dresses from the website on 8/15/24. First dress, was received at my house on 8/18/24. However, I received an email on 8/17/24 that the second dress will be delayed in shipping. Then on 8/24/24, Saks emailed me saying the second dress is cancelled. I called customer service asking what happened and they said there was probably a system glitch and they didn't have enough inventory when I made the purchase. I said I understood, but now I wanted to return first dress as well since I needed both for the same occasion, and since Saks couldn't send second dress, then there was no purpose for me to keep the first one. I called and explained this to customer service on 8/24/24, and the agent was very understanding and said it was their fault and issued me a return label so I can send back first dress. I also ask for the return shipping (~$10) to be waived as well since it was Sak's mistake to not send both dresses. The same day, 8/24/24, I dropped off my first dress at Fedex for return. On 8/25/24, I received an email from Saks saying the return fee waiver is denied. I was shocked to even see the email when the first agent told me it was approved, so I called customer service again...and this is when it all unfolded. On 8/25/24, I called customer service and explained same situation as I explained to the agent on 8/24 but why did I get the email saying the waiver is now denied? The agent said there is nothing he can do, the first agent told me the wrong thing and my return shipping will not be waived for me. I told and retold him the situation on how just 24 hrs prior, I was confirmed by the first agent that return fee will be covered by Saks. He then asked his superior three separate times to get my request approved, but all three times it was denied. So I asked to speak with his manager directly. The agent put me on call with his manager and the manger listened to the situation and basically admitted that the first agent from 8/24 made a mistake and there is nothing they can do to waive the return shipping fee. But I explained how they can not expect the customer to be told one thing then the next day be told something different. If the a member of the Saks team misspoke, that's on them and not the customer. He apologized and refused to help. So I kept on challenging him with asking Saks to waive return shipping and how it was clearly directed to me that I can ship back the first dress, because it was not my fault that second dress was out of stock. Then he started raising his voice at me and talking really quick over me and didn't let me speak. Then he ended the call with hanging up on me. I have never been spoken in this way by customer service rep and was shocked that he hung up on me. I called back Saks customer service and a third lady picked up my call. I explained my situation from 8/24 and 8/25 and she also said there was nothing they can do. The ONLY time they can waive for return shipping is if it's a wrong or damaged item. Which was not told to me on 8/24. She wasn't able to help me either but at least she was courteously didn't hang up on me. Now, I don't have the two dresses, got yelled/hung up at by customer service and lost the cost for return shipping fee. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed that as a customer, I had to take the blame of Saks employees and was terribly misspoken to in the process.

In a nutshell: Go online for your Saks shopping, will be worth your time and satisfaction! THE GOOD Although this review was from an online purchase, I've visited recently, and trust me you want to shop online, especially since they've got products (such as the Valentino Garavani Gold Sneakers I purchased back in Fall) that might not be in the store or dealing with unlikable or pushy SA. THE BEST For some reason I couldn't purchase LoubiPrince from the CL website, so I went to Saks online since I know are the only other place where to get Christian Louboutin fragrances or cosmetics. Why don't they sell perfumes at the CL boutiques, that's a mystery to me. Nothing like receiving a package, on time, but the presentation inside the box makes them A+ The bottle design alone is a collectible, not only looks gorgeous smells even better (from a sample), and can't wait to spray me silly in Christmas!
