Came here to meet friends before an event at nearby Kubo LB. The vibe is fantastic- turntables, games, natural wines, iced matcha & mocha were delicious on a hot day. Folks were in here working on laptops or chillling w kids or friends & enjoying wine & coffees. We were surprised by how dang good the sandwiches were! Ordered hot chicken & turkey club- kind of expected usual unexciting lunch but the quality of the bread, the bacon, condiments, fresh green salad sides- absolutely delicious. 100% would return! Parking out front was easy, restroom clean. They just need a bigger sign out front we almost missed it!

We popped into Sala Coffee & Wine for a little breakfast-meets-brunch situation, and it had neighborhood gem energy written all over it. Bright, open, and airy—with that casual-but-cool vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. Definitely the kind of spot you could meet a friend, have a solo laptop moment, or just sip something good and exist in peace. The natural wine selection looks amazing (already planning a return trip just to explore that), and the espresso machine is a stunner—they clearly care about what they’re doing here. It was busy when we arrived, nearly every seat was taken, but we grabbed a spot at the community table in the center, which felt laid-back and welcoming without being awkward. You order at the counter, and I only saw one printed menu available—so if you’re like me and get a little anxious making quick decisions, it’s worth checking out the menu beforehand. I ordered the Breakfast Burger—juicy beef patty, American cheese, over-medium egg, and the real star: that pineapple tomatillo jam. Sweet, tangy, and just different enough to make me pause mid-bite and go, okay wow. Added bacon because… obviously (+$3), and fries too (+$4) because I make excellent life decisions. The burger was juicy, filling, and honestly had me needing a nap after. Fair warning: it’s a sticky, gooey, glorious mess—so come prepared. We’re talking fork, knife, napkins, backup napkins. Maybe even a wet wipe if you’re fancy. Partner had the Breakfast Sandwich—bacon, yolky egg, chipotle mayo, hashbrown, and cheese on a brioche bun. He isn’t the most descriptive when it comes to food reviews, but the silence and lip smacks told me everything I needed to know. It’s a yes from him. He also had an iced oat milk latte, which he said had a really warm, almost spiced flavor to it—unexpected in the best way. Smooth, layered, and honestly above expectation. I went with one of their wine + Mexican Coke cocktails (wish I remembered the name, blame mom brain), but it was refreshing, unexpected, and delicious. A weirdly perfect combo I didn’t know I needed. Think sangria but cola fizziness. Also grabbed a lox bagel to-go for my daughter. Didn’t try it myself, but visually it was stunning—stacked just right on a beautiful everything seed bagel. Jury’s still out on her final verdict, but she looked impressed. All in all, this place has a vibe. It’s giving slow mornings that bleed into lazy afternoons—good coffee, food that feels special without trying too hard, and a wine list that’s just sitting there flirting with you. We’ll absolutely be back—there’s more on that menu calling my name.

Came here the day after Valentines for their Valentines pasta menus got to say I was impressed! Also had some vegan donuts which were also delicious! Would come back again’ they had live DJ and the vibe was great!

I love it here! SALA has all the things you want, and everything you need. Eclectic eats, an exquisite selection of natural wines, coffee, and great vibes. The menu is constantly updated with incredible culinary experiences. Don’t be afraid to post up 10/10!

My visit to Sala Coffee and Wine Bar left me pleasantly surprised and eager to return. The ambiance was cozy and chill, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a delightful cup of Salita coffee. As a bonus, discovering a coffee and wine bar in one place was a unique and exciting find. After another coffee shop that closed while I was working, finding Sala was a stroke of luck. Their closing time of 9 pm provided me more time and they have A/C. The seating arrangements were okay, but I must admit that nabbing a good table makes the experience even better. The variety of options available was impressive – from their delicious coffee and delightful wine selection to the tempting food choices. It truly felt like a place with endless possibilities. One aspect that stood out was the friendly and attentive customer service. The staff seemed genuinely passionate about their offerings and made the overall experience even more enjoyable. the only hiccup in an otherwise perfect experience was the slightly choppy Wi-Fi connection. Although it went out regularly. Nevertheless, it might be something to consider for those who need a stable internet connection. The music playing in the background enhanced the overall ambiance, contributing to the comfortable and good vibe of the place. Sala Coffee and Wine Bar is a true gem with a brilliant concept. It's a versatile spot where one can work, socialize, indulge in wine, study, or simply hang out. The combination of coffee, wine, music, and delicious food makes it an alluring destination for various occasions. I'm already looking forward to returning to Sala to spend more quality time, whether it's catching up on work, relaxing with a glass of wine, doing homework, enjoying the music, or savoring their tasty offerings. It's a place that offers something for everyone, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Sala Coffee and Wine Bar exceeded my expectations with its warm ambiance, excellent customer service, and diverse options. Love the vibe here. Coffee was good enough to come back, but the real kicker was the veggie bagel. Delicious. Will be back for more yummy food.

Super friendly staff. Awesome vibe. Music a bit too loud but interior is really cozy. Bathrooms are clean and I love their food selection but I got a bit of a salt bomb on my bfast burrito and the turkey club was a little too mayo-y. The taste was great but I'd prefer something a little milder. The coffee was superb, both the decaf and regular.

Sala , It feels like home it's a touch of quietness. I highly recommend the Salita coffee, whether iced or hot, both ways delicious. If you're looking for something with a hint of spice, there is also the Mexican mocha. Very delicious. I've had it warm, and it's great . The cookies so soft that they can crumble in ur hand .I just had the breakfeast burrito for the first time, and it was delicious. I tried the bacon one it came with salsa on the side, but it wasn't spicy! Go check it out love this place 💕

For the dinner experience at Cuevita at SALA: My husband and I came here for dinner and ordered the Grape Salad, Kofta (amazing!), Camote, and Garlic Prawns. The Kofta and Camote dishes were absolutely delicious with lots of flavors and unique textures. The grape salad was fine, but the prawns were extremely fishy. They also did not devein the prawns (aka poop lines still in tact) which was disappointing. Our waiter didn't smile once and quite honestly looked like he'd rather be anywhere but there. Glasses of wine are served in Port Wine glasses. Extremely small pours for regular prices. I would like to come back to try their coffee but will not be back for their dinner service or wines.

Pricey and mediocre wine bar -- decent coffee. Short of it: No price on most wines, the wines priced are costly ($40+), corkage is $15, very limited chilled wine selection, bad service. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and the wine area had a lot of boxes on the ground so it looked messy. Okay, whatever. The real issue is that 80% of their wines did not have the price written on them. Most wines were between $40-60(!). I asked for the corkage fee, $15(!). Wine by the cup is $15. We asked for some chilled wines and they only had a couple that they had to get from the back of the house. It already seemed like a lot but I paid it anyway. I even tipped, only to find out that we had 30 minutes because they were going to close for an hour to do some dinner service. I would've appreciated a warning BEFORE my purchase. They serve us our chilled wine wine and leave it on the table. They didn't offer to keep it in their fridge nor did they bring it in a wine chiller (bucket with ice). What's the corkage fee for?? Then, at 2:50pm they came to tell us to leave by 3pm. All in all, I paid approximately $60 for 30 minutes of poor service. Two stars because the wine was good and I've had decent coffee there.

My daughter took me on a cafe-hop around Long Beach to have snacks at all of the spots we wanted to eat or drink at, and this place was on the list. We were so excited to get the breakfast burrito and... wait what? Did you say coke AND wine in one single delicious drink? Serve it up please for a birthday AM drink, yes well it's noon somewhere right? The service was sweet and attentive, but not overly so... and the dining room was so cute with lots of tchotchkes and candles? Lots of novelty candles... I'm sure they light these on live music nights or something like that, because they are SO SO cute. I am SALA-vating just writing this review and cannot wait to return. Street and residential parking.

Would not recommend. Food and drink was pricey. One positive note was that my Matcha Cream Top was yummy. My boyfriends Cold Brew tasted sour like another reviewer mentioned. He drank it but commented several times that it was pretty unappealing. Way better quality and prices directly across the street at Cassidy's Bakery. I got the Lox Bagel at Sala, bagel felt cold and rubbery. I took two bites and had to throw it away. I orders the BLT at Cassidy's and it was delicious and cheaper and faster! Service was terrible. Only two female taking orders and making drinks. Zero energy and friendliness to customers but they had the energy to chat with friends that hung out at the pickup drink area. I observed one guy came out of the back to help 40 mins after we arrived. Management, please staff appropriately, across the street at Cassidy's they had more than 5 prior working on drinks and bagels and way less people waiting for their orders. Not enough seating. Everyone was standing around waiting for tables for the whole 40 mins we waited. No tables opened up. We were in the building for close to hour. Line was long and the cashiers didn't seem to care about the customer experience. We waited 36 min for bagels. My friend never got their coffee order. When we got our orders, they were served for here instead of Togo as requested. We asked if we could have them to go and they silently walked away without responding. When they placed it to go they just put it in a plastic box and handed it to us without napkins. Every step of the service was awkward. Also not sure why but the cashiers allowed a young boy in a baseball outfit to step into the back of house ice machine and scoop ice for himself. He yelled across the bar to ask his family if they wanted any. That was so inappropriate and unsanitary. What a waste of $50. Management do better. I don't normally write reviews but that was terrible and my group couldn't stop pointing out all the weird issues and bad energy. I'm including a photo of the bakery across the street selling almost the same products. Check out how many staff it takes to properly run a cafe service. Again management do better because who knows if your two workers were just hella burnt out from holding down this sinking ship. The place looks great but doesn't run well. It takes more than aesthetic to run a great cafe.

What a fantastic coffee shop and wine bar! I have been following SALA on Instagram for a long time, and I cannot believe it took me this long to get here.  We indulged on the menu since it was our first time here. Between the two of us, we got two Yuzu Cold Brews (which are alcoholic!!), Matcha Sunrise, Midnight, and Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. Yuzu Cold Brew - Great for a brunch drink at a coffee shop! The yuzu sake is bright and counteracts the acidity of the cold brew. The jalapeno is also very fragrant, but not necessarily spicy. I would describe it as giving the drink lift rather than a kick.  Matcha Sunrise - I don't think that they use fresh orange juice, but they do use a good matcha. This drink was enjoyable, but I would probably try their matcha in a different format to be able to tell you more about the quality. Midnight - This drink is thick, decadent, and delicious. It is chocolatey, but not overly so. The orange in it gives it a night brightness that cute through the richness of the drink and makes for an indulgent treat. Chorizo Breakfast Burrito - Solid!! I love when burritos, especially breakfast burritos, are evenly distributed. Every bite had a little bit of everything, which included flavorful chorizo, tender beans, potatoes, and eggs. SALA was a wonderful find, and I am so excited to go back to try more! They host events at night with a bigger food menu, vinyl DJs, and more community goodness. They also sell wine here, which is a great selection. One of their wine people talked to my boyfriend for  a while and he ended up buying a bottle of Dandelion wine. Definitely add this spot to coffee shops in Long Beach that you don't want to miss.

My best friend found this beautiful cafe with ambient natural lighting. It was breakfast time. I walked into this beautiful modern, retro, cafe and said "Where am I? How come we've never been here before?" To the corner were a fine selection of wines, a nice bar area, a vintage speaker that played the best of soul, indie and jazz. Additionally there were lots of seating. The barista was very nice and welcoming when she found out it was our first time here. My best friend got a matcha tonic with chilaquiles and I got a lavender latte with a breakfast burrito. Chilaquiles - very flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. She also loved how they used real eggs compared to other establishments who are using just egg to combat the rise in egg prices. She noted that she'd happily pay the surcharge if it meant using real eggs. The chips were also crispy and cooked to perfection. Breakfast burrito - I added chorizo. It was big with potatoes, eggs, cheese, beans and of course the chorizo. Everything was well cooked and the salsas were fresh and delicious, it only elevated the flavor profile of the burrito. I highly recommend getting this Lavender latte - my only quip was that I wish the cups were bigger. But it was really good. Matcha tonic - The matcha was a dark green with a candied orange and I wish I got this because it looked good. By night this place turns into a nice wine bar with a Dj spinning records. A couple yelpers mentioned there also being a dinner service. I really want to check it out at night time and provide an updated review.

Amazing spot for food or a wine break with great friends. They offer breakfast and lunch regularly during the day and a sit down wine bar experience in the evening. Staff works rigorously while providing a personal connection ratber than just a sale or service. I highly recommend one of their tonics or their breakfast items. The SALA experience is one you have to come see for yourself to really understand the vision they provide. They offer plenty of events and pop ups that you cannot miss. You'd be surprised how crazy this cozy spot can get.

I've been meaning to check out SALA for quite some time and I'm so glad I finally did! Such a cute small spot that is a lovely coffee shop and wine bar. I got to enjoy SALA's coffee & breakfast selection this morning with a choco orange iced coffee (can't recall the name of it, possibly a seasonal drink) & a egg, bacon, and jam pumpernickel bagel sandwich. Service was excellent and welcoming. I look forward to visiting SALA beyond bfast and during one of their slow jamz events.

My best friend and I went to go cafe hopping and came across SALA. We came here once before after our walk and loved the ambiance. It had such a homey vibe and a really cool DJ booth. LB cafes are the best with community collabs and we loved how small biz were sharing their work here. The food was amazing, we only ever got their bagel sandwiches. But, we're way too obsessed with it because after we had it for the first time, we couldn't stop thinking about it! So we came back again and it's just so good! We loved the Spicy BEC with an everything bagel. We tried the breakfast burrito once and it was good but not our favorite. Additionally, we got their Salita latte before and it was very yummy. This time, we got the Mexican Mocha latte and the original espresso tonic. By far, the best espresso tonic I've had! So smooth, espresso was great. The service was good and friendly. Baristas are kinda enough to serve drinks and food to those who eat there. I'm used to having to pick up your own drinks or food at cafes, but it's nice of them during busy times to come serve!

We finally tried this place in our neighborhood. We first wanted to try some coffee and I figured since that should be the very basic if you have good coffee, then food and then wine should follow. Unfortunately, we are pretty disappointed in our coffee. I order a cold brew and my husband ordered their house hot coffee. My cold brew was super bitter and my husband's coffee was pretty bland. They didn't have any options to add any sugar / raw simple sugar etc at the counter when our order was ready but we figured we wanted to just taste the flavor of their coffee and was disappointed. Service was good - staff was friendly and we didn't wait too long at all. Might give them another try.

I stopped by here for a few hours without knowing what to expect and I was blown away by the service and the latte I got! I also got the chilaquiles (which are not pictured since I ate them so fast). I think the ambiance is wonderful to catch up with friends or get some work done! And if you feel like celebrating after getting that work done, it turns into a wine bar at night! Cheers!

This has become my to go place. I love their matcha, simple but GOOD! And if I make it on time, the lox bagel! The decor is chic, enough seatings, good music, bar space, and overall a chill atmosphere. I typically go alone but I'd love to have a girls day here. I noticed people go crazy for their wines. I need to add that to my list next.

All 3 or so times I've been here have been consistently great experiences. I usually come before noon on a Saturday or Sunday and order about the same: vegan breakfast burrito, a hot latte and a vegan donut. I love love love to come here for a nice chill date with a friend to catch up over food and coffee. Ive never had to wait for a table and the food comes pretty quickly. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Parking is good and the vibes are perfect. I have also tried the house wine, which has not blown me away, but it's to expect from house wines. I'd definitely go back and look to try something more specific.

I'm a sucker for cafes and spaces that are intentionally set up in such a way where you can spend your entire day and evening there. SALA, Spanish for "living room" is one such place. I got introduced to this place quite randomly. I was with friends at a book festival in a nearby library and we wanted a coffee spot that was open late and we found this spot via Yelp. Besides coffee, they offer wines by the glass and there's a solid food menu that includes bagel sandwiches and breakfast burritos until 1pm. Hot sandwiches are available from lunch onwards and on weekends, there's dinner service. Shelves of natural wine stock the shelf along with other products and a disco ball hanging from the ceiling reminds you that a DJ spins at night. In other words, you can start your day here for breakfast, work through lunch, enjoy wine whenever you're ready to start happy hour and party on after dinner! I've yet to try their dinner service but I do like coming here for their bagel sandwiches. Coffee could be better in my opinion.. I wish they'd use better beans. It's the only reason I shied away from giving them 5 stars..

I went to SALA on Saturday around 8:30 am and I can't figure out why it was basically empty! Maybe 8:30 is too early for some people but SALA is such a cool little spot. It has a lot of seating and a very good coffee and breakfast selection. I ordered the avocado toast and an iced latte. The avocado toast has really good with bread from Gusto, a local Long Beach bakery. It was a little on the pricey side, however, I think that's the going price for avocado toast nowadays. I haven't been here in the evening for wine yet, but they have a cool little DJ set up.

I came here for a change of scenery/to get some work done. The avocado toast was really good, the latte definitely had a different type of vanilla flavor than I'm used to, but it was pretty good!

Beautiful space that really makes you feel like you've been transported somewhere different. Drinks I've gotten have always been inconsistent for some reason, depends on who makes it. My friends and I have often had to clean our tables ourselves, and customer service varies with the staff. Overall, it's a great spot for the atmosphere and music, but there's room for improvement with consistency and attentiveness. Attention to these details makes all the difference for a business and the people who support it.

What a great spot for a little coffee and breakfast moment or evening sip and vibe. Pretty unassuming place unless you knew it was there. During the day it's more chill so you can study, get some work done and enjoy their variety of freshly made sandwiches. At night you can pop open a bottle and have a glass to unwind, or come for one of their club night events. The staff were nice. You do have to walk up to the counter and look at the menus placed on it to order. Food was decent, nothing too fancy, original or complex. Moderately priced for what you can expect these days. There's a parking lot in the back or on the street. Overall pretty good experience, nothing I'd rave about but filled the brunch/coffee cravings.

I'm addicted to their burritos. Big, heavy, hearty, great flavors, and the closest thing to mom's home cooking. The yolky egg is cooked to perfection EVERY SINGLE TIME and the frijoles de olla are the hidden talent. Thank you guys for coming to Long Beach and being so close to my job! Just wish they'd open before 8am for that pre-work coffee/food pick up. Not hating though. I know prep time to produce something great, consistently, takes a lot of time...Love this place.

10/10 Vibes and service from amazing staff I thoroughly enjoyed a latte and mimosa I also got the breakfast burrito, it was okay, I wish it had some sauce in there I wouldn't order it again but I would definitely go back and try something else.

Walked in and this interior is so dreamy and inviting with its bench and tables to the wall- As a music lover- They also have what looks to be a vintage sound system that played Khruangbin type sound and the vibe was immaculate. To top that- the coffee was so good. I got the Salita which hit the spot for my cinnamon iced coffee craving nicely. For breakfast- I got the breakfast burrito which will you set all the way past lunch. Chorizo, cheese, fried egg, and seasoned potates. Bomb. Thats it. Will come back to choose wine here one day. Great first coffee date or to work in a vibey spot. All I ordered was brought out directly to me so shout out to cashier.

Though a bit inconspicuous because they do not have a large sign above the door, this neighborhood coffee joint is amazing! The service was very charismatic and the breakfast options were pretty solid. The design and music playlist were smacking. If I lived walking distance from this place, I would probably have a little morning treat almost every morning to brace myself against the onslaught of unending clerical and creative deliverables I have due daily. We ordered: A pour-over coffee, the salita latte (condensed milk & cinnamon), the Breakfast Burger and the Avocado Toast--add bacon & egg.

The locale was awesome and parking was easy. The vibe of this place is like sitting in the lobby of a hostel. The food was ok. It didn't blow our minds but it wasn't bad. There's places you never forget and then there's places you could easily forget. This was the latter. The lattes were pretty standard delicious. If that had been all we ordered, I'd have given another star at least. It's weird that you order and pay at a counter, they ask for a tip on the whole amount but don't offer restaurant-type service. No one seated us, ever came by to ask if we needed anything (like hot sauce or more salsa because it didn't come with enough), asked if we were enjoying our meal/experience or even offered us water. What am I tipping for again?!

We were in the area and looked up a coffee shop and discovered Sala! I read coffee and wine bar, so I looked up some pictures on Yelp first to make sure it was something that we wanted since it was 10am on a Saturday and I wanted a coffee more than wine at the time. The vibe of this spot is very relaxed. Upon walking in you see a bunch of wines off to the left side along the walls and then seating is located off to the right side. They have the menu at the counter which is where you order your food/drinks and then they will bring it out to you where ever you decide to sit. // FOOD & DRINKS // Cold Brew - The cold brew was very good here. It had a deep flavor and had no bitterness at the end. I really enjoyed this! 4/5 Los Bagel: Cream cheese, salmon, capers, pickled onions, fresh dill. A beautiful artwork of a bagel! The lox portion is on half of the bagel while the other half is just smeared with cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious too! They only had one everything bagel left, so I chose the onion bagel and it was perfect. The bagel itself is on the larger side and not your typical store bought bagel so it ended up being more a meal and we were full after. 4.5/5 Overall, I loved the vide and the food/drinks at Sala! I would definitely come back here to try some of their other breakfast items (later in the day they have lunch/dinner items as well).

We stumbled upon this place on Sunday after Service. We honestly did not know it was a trending place on social media or that they had events. So we were kind of confused by the concept but exited to know about it. Sadly, because from what it feels like they're getting very popular, they shut the place down from 11a.m to noon to reset for what would be turning into a regeton day? So they didnt allow us to buy food 10 minutes before 11a.m which is understandable. I just wish they would've updated that on their hours so we didnt make the drive there. But naturally, because we're excited to hear about this new concept I go back and ask the girl who was previously helping me and asked her how it all works to purchase tickets and if there's a no show do they allow others in and this other girl came out of nowhere trying to shut down any further questions I had. Fortunately for everyone, Im a business Owner and a grown woman so I knew how to handle myself with a rude girl like her behind the counter and was able to have the lovely girl who was originally helping us inform us on how the concept of it all worked here. But that rude young lady that popped out of nowhere annoyed and probably stressed about the event she was about to work should probably have more kindness towards people who have no idea how their cafe shop works. In real life, we're not all living to go to this place because its trending on social media. Taking a step back and remembering customer service is part of the job shouldn't be forgotten. Left a bad taste in all of our mouths unfortunately

Love this place!!! Their food selection is great and reasonably priced. Their coffee is also fresh and makes it with just the right amount of cream. Service is friendly and very helpful and the music is always on point. Try their breakfast burrito, you wont regret it.

Awesome place for studies, paperwork completion, or catching up with a good friend. Delicious food, good drinks, great customer service, and chill atmosphere vibes. Lots of space for independent sitting or multiple people gathering. Will come back for sure.

I came here with a friend on a Saturday afternoon (12-4pm ish). The ambiance was very chill. It seemed like there were people around that were working on things on their laptops or hanging out with friends. No one was loud. It was a good place to catch up with a friend. They had a DJ set, so it looks like they might have some night life. It's the kind of place where you order at the counter and they give you a number to take to the table, so pretty casual. The person taking our orders and making the coffee drinks was nice. I got the Saffron Fries, a Pumpkin Spice Latte, and a glass of chardonnay. The saffron fries were good. Nothing really special, but decent steak-cut fries. I used my hands, and my fingers turned yellow/orange from the saffron. If that bothers you, I recommend using a fork. The PSL was good. I asked ahead of time if it was sweet, and they said it could be made less sweet. I appreciated that and thought it was good as they made it. The glass of chardonnay was good and refreshing. It was pretty expensive ($14), but it was at least good.

We came here on Sunday morning for coffee with friends. Our friend got a hot ginger tea and we both got hot ginger honey lattes. I guess we were craving ginger that morning. The first sip was really ginger-y, but after that I think the elements got to mix the way they were supposed to and it was the best drink ever. I had no idea Sala was so great for the brunch crowd. There was a live DJ spinning upbeat soul music, people playing dice games, lots of happy chatter and a pleasant vibe. They had a breakfast menu with some cool-looking items like chilaquiles and an upscale breakfast burrito on there. I definitely want to come back.

I've driven by it several times, so decided to finally give it a shot...SALA Coffee and Wine Bar. When walking in, the place is wide open with plenty of room; but the one thing I don't see was anything that showed available drinks or food. They give you a menu when you get to the counter to order. I decided to keep it simple and ordered a Americano and breakfast burrito. When the burrito came out it looked so good. I will admit that the first half of the burrito was fantastic. Then came the second half. I don't know what it was but several bites had a very bitter taste. No idea what it was, but it definitely stopped me from finishing the rest of it. I'm sure this is not the norm for SALA, but gonna be little hard for me to go back and find out. Again this was just my experience.

A cool spot for grabbing a caffeinated drink and grub. I think this shop opened during the pandemic And I'm really happy it's still here and consistently serving yumminess with chill-cool vibes. def a local favorite and low key I want to kiss the chef/cook each time I eat the food. Whether it's a Solrad burrito or the chilaquilles, I always leave skipping so obvi I'm recommending this shop for lattes and any item on their food menu, but try the chillequilles if you like the crunchy kind (FYI:chillequilles should NEVER be limp, am I right mujeres?‍). OH! honey lavender latte is created with their very own house made lavender syrup, recommend!!

The vibe was amazing! DJ playing on an early Saturday morning. Music just loud enough for the small place. You can still carry on a conversation which is important. Disappointment settled in when I ordered their regular coffee. I was hoping for a great tasting coffee as they have an amazing coffee set up, but it just fell flat. I had asked if they give refills on their regular coffee but they do not however they do charge less for a refill though. Next time maybe I'll try their wine selections.

The strongest cold brew that will make your chest hairs grow, whether you're a man, women, or nonbinary--doesn't matter what...the cold brew here will set you on fire. I felt like it gave me superhuman energy for the rest of the day, so I can recommend this coffee/wine bar based on that alone. Other than that, great food/drink menu. Food is served up until approx 2pm and they have delicious breakfast burritos (which is what I split). They also had a tasty looking BLT. Comfortable environment inside, ordering at the counter - seemed like it had plenty of outlets/tables and a decent place to work remotely from. Street parking only in Bixby Knolls, but spots seemed plentiful. Definitely recommend this spot! Great vibes, decent menu...and who doesn't love a wine/coffee bar combo?

Cute little coffee shop and wine bar! We stopped by for some coffee and breakfast before s trip to the local bookstore. The chilaquiles were amazing, freshly crisped up tortilla chips, yolky egg, and verde salsa with a kick. Friendly service and beautiful presentation!

Laid back coffee shop with menu for breakfast items and some sandwiches. They have a selection of natural wines and some beers. Been there a few times... Good coffee! Love their chilaquiles.

I first heard of Sala, which is near my community, either via TikTok or Insta as I was scrolling and came up on a video talking about a basque cheesecake! I was intrigued due to it looking "burnt" lol! On several occasions I called to see if they had it for pick up and they were always sold out, seems like the earlier in the day the better chances you'll have. On a random late Sunday morning my friends and I were looking for a place to eat and it so happens we were on Atlantic Ave. If you blink you'll miss SALA because it's not very visible. We decided to go and try it out. I ordered a breakfast burrito that was big and delicious, quality ingredients and a vanilla latte, smooth and great flavor. Unfortunately when I ordered I asked about the basque cheesecake and they were already out! I was so bummed, I inquired about how early one has to be there, can I pre-order a slice... and while sitting down waiting on our food, the young man approached me and said he had found a slice that was in their fridge. I got to try it and it was everything I expected and more! Thank you for your kind and attentive service.

I was really excited to try this place as it's close to my house but I honestly don't know how this place has 4.6 stars. Coffee is really nasty. I got a cold brew and it was sour. Tasted like spoiled milk. They changed it to a latte and it tasted the same. We had a few food items and honestly not the best. What a waist of 50 dollars.

This place is a hidden gem in Bixby Knolls! I love the ambience, the interior, the music, and mostly their food and coffee! I've never had espresso tonics before, and I'm glad I tried it. Elderflower espresso was perfect for a summer day, and I loved the hint of rosemary and orange inside. If you are dining in, they use a reusable straw, which I loved. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito (with chorizo) were amazing. The sandwich has that crispy crunch from the potato and bacon, but the brioche bun keeps the bite soft. The breakfast burrito was cheesy and wrapped so perfectly. The chorizo adds that flavor profile that cuts through too. When I took my first bite, the first thought that came to my mind was "I gotta order another one of this." They also sell merchandise (earrings, rings, coffee, mugs, etc). I will definitely be back for more!

Bixby is turning into quite the coffee area with a bunch of coffee shops entering the area over the last few years. Sala is the best latte on the street! Service was quick, and records playing a nice chill LA vibe. Upbeat yet relaxed for a late morning coffee! I don't care for wine, but this place may show me the light one day!

I really enjoy this coffee shop. First time I came I got the lavender latte and the second time I got the honey ginger latte. They were both delicious. The true game changer is their Chilaqueles. They are so darn good!! I'm addition to the food, they have ample seating with a good amount of spacing between and are always playing good music. It was a little chilly in there since the door was open, other than that I will be adding to my go-to's.
