We had two of their Green Goddess salads and two Chipotle Chicken sandwiches, and boy, they were so good! Really, really fresh, quality ingredients, great flavors (the Green Goddess dressing was especially noteworthy). We’re already looking forward to try their other options soon!

I’ve ordered delivery from here a few times, and I’ve been very happy with everything each time.

A simple spot for healthy salads with great flavors. The Greek salad was a standout with tender chicken, a flavorful punch from the artichokes, and a well-balanced dressing - very satisfying and refreshing!

So delicious!!! Ingredients are fresh, staff is friendly, place is clean. I got the Plant Lovers Salad and it’s hitting the spot. It’s not incredibly loaded with ingredients, but I feel that it’s a decent portion for the price. Also, the vegan Green Goddess dressing is delish!

This place is the gem of the Lakeview East neighborhood. I love getting to live just a block away from here! The recipes are so delicious and the ingredients are always fresh. I have never been disappointed in anything I've gotten from here. They are quick, so friendly, and easy for takeout. Definitely check this spot out!!

I had their Greek chicken wrap. I picked the tomato wrap. It was delicious. It was packed full of chicken, olives, and feta cheese. They don't have fountain drinks. They have 20oz plastic bottles of coke diet Coke, and sprite. They have kettle chips options. The staff was friendly. My food was super fresh and they gave great portions. I will definitely be back. Also the restaurant was very clean

I ordered 2 wraps though uber eats & it was delicious! Hummus and Fresh Veggies wrap & the Buffalo Chicken Caesar. There was a promo with certain wraps of buy one get one free so we got 2.

The employees at this location are careless and borderline incompetent. This is the second time I’ve ordered from them where they messed up my order. They forgot to include salad dressing one time, the other time they served me a chicken caeser salad wrap with no chicken in it.

With so many lunch salad & wrap places to go to for lunch here in Chicago, you could get dizzy from the choices. Just in my neighborhood (alone) we have The Lux Bar, Sweetgreen, Doc B's, Restoration Hardware, Ralph Lauren and many, many more. So, my wife and I are out running errands and we felt like having lunch. I named several places and she declared she wanted to try something new. I was driving and she was "scrolling trying to find a place for us to eat. Lo and behold, the Salad House popped up and off we went. So when we arrive at this small luncheonette positioned mid-block on North Broadway in East Lakeview, I was unimpressed. That is, until we walked in and I saw their menu and a kabillion sacks of to-go food. At that point, I felt very comfortable being there. My wife had a hale and hearty Cobb Salad which she really enjoyed and I has a Cobb Salad wrap that I absolutely loved. There is not many tables in this small diner, so I'm getting that this is a real Take-Out place. Either way, it was excellent, affordable and very clean. Will I come back here - Hell Yes!

I am usually a very big fan of Salad House, and I usually get a meal from them at least once a month (even after moving from the area). I was looking forward to ordering my usual, a Pesto Chicken wrap, and could all of a sudden not find it on the menu at all. This is my absolute favorite wrap in the entire city, and I am disappointed that it is not available anymore. How can we get this wrap back on the menu?! My life has been a bit bleak without it.

Really like this Salad place. I have come here a dozen times and it is consistently good. Erin and I got lunch to take to the waterfront and it was a perfect salad with fresh ingredients. Service is always really good and the place is clean. Price is super fair!

Ordered via Uber eats and they were running a BOGO special on the wild rice salad. The roasted veggie salad and wild rice salad were really good and we loved the pesto dressing. The Buffalo chicken/Santa Fe/Caesar were mediocre at best, so order wisely.

Their wrap was amazing, my partner loved the sauce and the healthy side of eating for the summer we will definitely be back!

The ingredients seemed fresh and they had a nice range of options. They made the orders quickly and they were a good size for the price.

Simple food done right I got the chicken pesto wrap the pesto with delicious and it paired really well with the lemon poppyseed dressing good portion of chicken and the spinach was crunchy. The service was really great and I got my wrap quick perfect for my lunch break. This is definitely a tasty healthy place

I had their Santa Fe Salad, and it was very tasty! I really liked their lime and cilantro vinaigrette. The service was fast and bilingual which is nice. The place is clean but was hot inside.

Ordered here for pickup and it was a solid option. It's nice that they have standard items and a 'build your own' option. I stuck with the classic chicken Caesar salad, which was pretty large and quite filling. Prices are a bit high, I think my salad was $11, but you do get a lot for your money. Never had a Caesar salad with egg in it before, not sure I needed it but it also wasn't awful. Online ordering was super easy for my friend through her phone, and pickup was right on time. If you're looking for a solid salad place with lots of options, I'd recommend it!

The chicken is rubbery and disgusting. Worse than Tyson. It completely ruined a salad that seems fresh otherwise.

Two words.. Tyson Chicken. I ordered 2 chicken wraps for delivery (BOGO) and the chicken was so white, chewy, and no favor. With the burn marks just like it look like on the bag. Most of their menu items only contain iceberg lettuce.. iykyk that was the first red flag. Safe to say I will not be back.

Ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup from Salad House, and was instantly pleased and warmed up by the soothing soup! It was perfect on a cold wintry chicago day!

This place is exactly what you'd expect. Good salads, wraps and bowls. Lots of "rabbit food". Sometimes, though, I just need something healthier like this after eating an unhealthy meal, and this place has come through every time I've needed it. The blackened chicken wrap is my go-to, though this time I also got some chicken noodle soup which I also enjoyed. Ordered it for delivery this time and the soup was still hot when it arrived. Definitely an easy choice when craving something healthy. Prices are fair, portions are good, food is delicious. I'd recommend this place.

Eww. I just had a Greek salad from there. The salad was fresh enough but I added chicken to it. They used that pre-cooked, gelatinous, not fresh chicken that you find in bags in the produce section of a grocery store.

Each of the three employees working the shift were only wearing one glove each and had a free hand they still used to prepare food while also handling the POS system and packing orders. It was busy and orders were delayed, but I would still hope restaurants would take necessary precautions in handling food. Additionally the quality of ingredients were not the freshest.

Great value and pricing. I ordered the chicken soup, Buffalo chicken wrap and Caesar salad. All came with really fresh ingredients and decent quantity . Chicken soup is outstanding one of the best I have had in a long time. The only knock is the salad and soup did not have a lot of chicken. I loved the wrap, the Buffalo sauce along with the packed ingredients really is a filling option. Overall good place to visit, potentially might order and try different options in the future.

This is such a solid choice for whenever you want fresh healthy food that is light and delicious! The portions are great and everything I ordered so far was delicious.

I'm a fan of this place - been going to/ordering from Salad House since 2016. If you want actual healthy, fresh ingredients check it out. The blackened chicken wrap with chipotle ranch is my favorite.

Quick, fast, and healthy. Reminds me of a Chipotle but for salad. You can make whatever salad you want and they have so many delicious dressings to choose from- the Avocado Dressing is my personal fav. I always get a big bowl of salad on a Sunday night or when I feel like I need a cleanse. For a pretty large salad, 5+ toppings, and no meat you will spend around 12$. Not too shabby!

I've become a big fan of Salad House! I believe my initial lackluster review may have been due to the fact that I was building my own salads....instead I now leave that up to the experts and order off the menu. Highly recommend the Berry Salad. Service is always super friendly and orders are prepared QUICK.

I've been home sick with Covid and craving some vegetables, so I searched out some salad spots. I wasn't thrilled with the $6 delivery fee (because I don't know how much of that goes to the delivery driver) but decided to give it a try. The blackened chicken Caesar didn't quite look like the picture, but it was a great, full salad, packed with blackened chicken, veggies, and croutons. The dressing was a nice, acidic Caesar. I also ordered the fresh squeeze OJ, which was a really nice-sized portion and exactly what I wanted.

Great spot for a healthy quick lunch- and reasonable too! I love their turkey blt on a spinach wrap with avocado. Everything is fresh and good, definitely recommend!

For more menu options, order from their website not from yelp! Fast and fresh food. Plenty of vegan options on their website's menu.

Best build your own salad place in Chicago!!! They never disappoint! Suggest going in versus ordering online

They raised the prices again. They have raised prices several times PRIOR to COVID! Now they have raised them again! Its not worth it They charge $1 for each salad topping and now they charge for meat on salads $35 for 2 salads is ridiculous! Better off buying groceries or going to Marianos or even Whole Foods salad bar

Right across from my apartment. If you're in the Lakeview East area, this is a great place for a fast, healthy, and inexpensive meal. Ingredients taste fresh. I feel awake and refreshed after eating. If you're not in the area, don't make the trip; it's not really a destination spot. But for locals and passerbys it's a great option.

Food is always delicious and the staff is so nice. The chipotle like quinoa & kale elote salad is soooo good.

$16 for a depressing salad with the dressing lazily on the side. This sad excuse for a salad had barely any chicken in it, I had to comb over the salad with my fork a couple of times just for the chicken to make an appearance. If you're charging that much, I would most definitely expect more protein and the restaurant to mix the dressing in for me. These restaurants have been getting away with murder recently. It's gotten out of control.

Was craving a salad and finally checked this place out after walking past a million times. Ordered online for pick through their website, which is recommended. I got the Kale Caesar with Salmon and added avocado - delish and a huge portion (definitely great if you're splitting). I loved the shaved Parmesan and white raisins and the kale was nicely chopped. Great lunch spot in Lakeview.

I definitely love that we have a salad place here in Lakeview. I don't always try to eat super healthy, like I should. But Salad House encourages me to do better, and they make it really easy. The vegetable, meat and cheese options are really impressive. Much better than most salad bars around the area. Yeah, you're gonna pay a little bit more here. But the ingredients are fresh and the portions are big. Yep, it's a big salad. They also have wraps and other things, but I have only been here for the salads. I'll definitely be back here, especially when it's heading towards bikini weather, of after my doctor yells at me...

Ehh this place is OK. My only issue is the "grilled chicken". It's not fresh grilled chicken it's more like the frozen chicken. Could definitely be much better and more fresh. Other than that, the veggies and salad dressings are really good. Cool lunch spot here and there. Could definitely make everything at home (with better chicken", it's nothing crazy.

Omg this place is the bomb!! Everything is amazing! I'm so happy they deliver so far (I'm in Edison park). So far we've had the cheesecake, tuna wrap (my sons favorite!), blackened chicken wrap (my boyfriends favorite) the Texas wrap, the build your own salad, the power tuna salad (so good and filling) and tonight I tried the quinoa taco salad and it is literally the most amazing food I have ever put in my mouth! So so so good!

Salad house is right around the corner from me and I have been there plenty of times. The couple that owns it is so nice and cares about giving you a fresh salad that you'll enjoy. The best part is that you can add as many toppings as you would like for no extra charge. Avocado and egg are extra- but totally worth it. My salads even with those two are always under $10 I've also had the lentil soup there that was good and very filling.

The southwestern salad is pretty good. I like the cilantro lime dressing. It costs $9. I also thought their flan was decent. My only complaint is the wraps, for $7.75 it needs more fillings. My wrap was mostly all lettuce with a little bit of turkey and even less bacon. Customer service was good. Not sure I would return though, just feel like they don't stand out enough.

I take lunch from here on my way out for the day, and it's always good. The staff is always nice and they all wear masks. The menu has lots of different choices and everyone can find something. Love the kale cobb. I do wish it was open a bit later.

Salad House recently catered wraps at an event I attended- they were awesome! Fresh and tasty ingredients and everyone seemed to enjoy them. I checked out their menu and I'm so excited to have found a place that has so many fresh and healthy options! I can't wait to try their salads and bowls!

The have the best salads! I always customize my own and load it up. All of their salads are big, fresh and full of flavor! You can't go wrong here. They also deliver at lighting speed!

Fresh, fast, and affordable! Salad House is a neighborhood staple, and a go-to for me when I need a quick bite and want to eat (reasonably) healthy. Their salads are big, and you can make a full meal of them. My personal favorite is the Santa fe, and you can choose your leafy base. It's topped with tender grilled chicken, tomatoes, corn, black beans, tortilla chips, cheese, fresh avocado, and comes with a lime-cilantro vinaigrette. The dressing has a zesty kick to it, so if that's not your style, you can always swap for any other of their homemade dressings - all of which are tasty. My other favorite is their creamy chipotle ranch. Whether you're getting it to go, or ordering delivery, the quality and consistency remains the same. Which is super important and speaks volumes. Highly recommend!

Blink, and you'll miss the storefront, but they're conveniently located near the intersection of Belmont and Broadway. I've eaten here for almost five years, and the quality of their salad ingredients is always consistently good every time I visit. The greens you can select (Romaine, Mesculum Mix, Baby Spinach or Green Leaf) are fresh and tasty. Salad House isn't your usual peas, carrots and cucumbers salad bar, though they have them if you want. If you want something more adventurous, try capers, candied pecans, heart of palms or any of the other 60+ ingredients. They also offer wraps and baked potatoes (never tried them), but the sign says SALAD. Enjoy what they do best.

I got the quinoa kale elote one with no bacon and added avocado and wowza! It was delicious, huge portion, and fresh!!! I wish I would have taken a pic before I dug in!

Salad house is the best bang for your buck in Lakeview. For under $10, you can get a massive salad with tons of toppings. This place is right around the corner from my apartment, and it's always a go-to for something quick, easy and healthy when I need it. I'll definitely be back again soon!

Wowowowooww. Never have I ever been so impressed by a salad or sandwich place in my life. I would chase a squirrel for 10 hours if I meant I could eat one of their wraps and salads after. Bravo. Delicious. Divine.

I visited this place all the time in the 5 years I lived in Lakeview. It's one of the places I miss the most!!! I'll occasionally ride the extra miles back there just for the California Wrap. Totally worth it!
