A nice piece full vibe. The music was pretty good. They have a wide variety of food to choose from. You can get noodles, burgers and sandwhiches, rice plates, curry, etc. The staff was very friendly and recommended the food I got out of the burger and sandwich section of the menu. I got the Chicken Po'Boy sandwhich with sweet potato fries. The portion was a good size, and the food itself was very tasty. I will be back.

After a good weekend of eating tacos and great Mexican food I like to end my LA trips with some plant based food. Chow main is amazing must have. Plant based orange chicken is amazing 10/10 hard to spot the difference from real chicken. Also the plant bases buffalo wings a must. To drink I recommend the Thai tea.

Google
They make food for soul- like literally as it's vegan, but also, it tastes so delicious. They have a clean, cute dine-in place, and the people are polite and welcoming. Their menu is versatile in cuisine options. They also have food ranging from flavorful and healthy comfort food like salads, etc. to the tasty fun fast food loaded with cheese and stuff. The food was so good that my partner and I got some packed for your trip back home. All the food we ordered was fantastic, but I want to give a special mention to their thai curries, noodles, and the cheese+caramelized onion loaded fries. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant as you continue making compassionate choices and working on leaving a kinder and greener world for future generations. Please follow me on @veganchefkiwi for more vegan place/product reviews and my recipes. Thank you! ♥️

Google
I’m not vegan and usually skip vegan places because I have a misconception that the food is often more expensive and less tasty. I stumbled onto this place because the place next to it was closed and it has quickly become a favorite and honestly my top choice for Thai food. The pad see ew was the tastiest dish I’ve ever had and the vegan chicken was great. I recently also tried their Tom kha and it’s perfect. I love that they add chunks of tomatoes to it. Super flavor and affordable! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Google
I think they have a thoroughly impressive vegan menu that prominently features Thai food. Meals come with a protein in the form of plant-based beef or chicken, or tofu, and even vegan fish options. I noticed some American food like burgers and some Japanese food like ramen and sushi on the menu, too. There's tables and booths in a pretty spacious interior with a high ceiling. It's a bright and welcoming space and the service is quick. I asked a loaded question - which eggplant dish is better? - and although that's pretty subjective language to impose on waitstaff, they humored me. I was not led astray and was recommended the Eggplant Pad Phrink. That dish is battered eggplant in spicy red curry sauce, bell peppers, young pepper corn and basil. Since I love gobbling down eggplants, next time I'll have the Spicy Eggplant (stir-fried eggplant in sauce with peppers). Their Eggplant Pad Phrink really is perfectly dense and delicious! Everything was fresh-tasting and hot (temperature) and great. In regard to other hotness, we were asked what spice level we wanted, and they appropriately toned it down to mild for us. My friend and I devoured the empanadas and corn cakes as appetizers. Those are both MUST HAVES, and I will be ordering them again. I tried my friend's Salaya Pumpkin that they ordered with a beef protein, and it was also tasty. I can't wait to come back!

Google
What a vegetarian gem serving delicious Thai food in a modern/cool ambiance. Service was friendly and efficient and everything we ate was very good, including the brown rice we ordered on the side. We ate from the Thai menu, but they have several other options across Japanese, Chinese, and American cuisines. Even if you are not vegetarian you would love the food here, and you will be doing your heart, mind, and body a huge favor as it is all plant based. But, after eating at a place like this you honestly do not miss the meat 🙂

Google
Wow! Pure, authentic, Thai food. 100% vegan. I had tofu pad kee mao. It was exactly as I like it. I got “hot” but you may want medium. My friend ordered orange chicken and he loved it.

Google
The food was so delicious and the service was super friendly and efficient. The menu has a wide selection of Thai specialities as well as Japanese options including sushi. You would never know that all the food is plant based. I will definitely come back.

Yelp
This place is a great go-to casual restaurant if you're into Thai food. The interior is sleek and modern without the feel of it being pretentious. The servers are fantastic. Ours was friendly and attentive, constantly checking up on us and making us feel welcomed. It's pretty clear that they focus on maintaining a good image. We enjoyed the food here. We got the following: Thai iced tea ($4.99) - It tastes like your typical thai tea that you get at restaurants. Can't go wrong with it! However, it's very sweet so I would be wary about ordering this if this isn't your thing. Green curry fried rice ($16.99) - Was really good. It's fried rice where you can taste a hint of green curry spices. Barbeque chicken wings ($12.99) - This seems like the same typical plant-based chicken wings served at most vegan Thai restaurants in LA. You know, the soy protein ones with the silly bamboo stick going through it. However, I appreciated these ones more because they were nicely carmelized on the outside, creating a nice crisp texture. It comes with carrots, celery sticks, and ranch.

Yelp
This restaurant is in small shopping strip with limited parking. Ambiance is very casual. Service was great from start to end. Food we started with appetizer spicy green curry samosa, there was no squash as specified, tasted like regular samosa with a hint of green curry taste. Tom yum Gyoza miso soup was good. Gyozo did not add value. Kow soi yellow curry was creamy and rich Spicy cashew nuts were good too. Dumplings in green curry was subtle and tasted good. We asked all of the dishes to be made spicy, only spice came through in Tom Yum miso soup. Soup was served in wrong order after several dishes were served.

Yelp
A thoroughly impressive vegan menu that prominently features Thai food, as well as some American food like burgers and sandwiches and some Japanese food like ramen and sushi. Most meals come with a protein in the form of plant-based beef or chicken substitute, or tofu, and even vegan shrimp! There's tables and booths in a pretty spacious interior with a high ceiling. Makes for a very bright and welcoming space. Service is quick and I was offered guidance when I asked which eggplant dish is "better" - and that's admittedly some subjective language to impose on waitstaff. They did not lead me astray with steering me to the Eggplant Pad Phrink (battered eggplant in spicy red curry sauce, bell peppers, young pepper corn and basil) over the Spicy Eggplant (stir-fried eggplant in sauce with peppers). The Eggplant Pad Phrink really was perfectly dense and delicious. Everything was so fresh-tasting and hot and good! They even asked what spice level I wanted, and appropriately toned it down for me. My friend and I had empanadas and corn cakes as appetizers. Those are both MUST HAVES, and I can see myself ordering them again. I also sampled the Salaya Pumpkin with a beef protein during this visit and it was on point. I had visited here once before and had the poke bowl with a vegan tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and saffron roe- and that dish was fantastic, too. Parking is around if you search for it, as this is in Thai town in Hollywood... there is a very small parking lot, and you will likely rely on metered street parking. Let's call this 4.5 stars. Strongly considering 5 stars, I'll need to visit a third time to reconsider. I hope Salaya never goes away, ever.

Yelp
Delicious place felt like a very authentic spot, not the fancy LA social-media vibes. It's located in Thai Town near a lot of other Thai restaurants. Thankfully we sat near some people that are locals and frequent Salaya so they have great recs. Enjoyed the pad see ew, very classic and good. Thai tea really was great - tasted like genuine tea with sweet cream. The Thai jerk chicken wings were soy-sauce forward and garlicky so if that appeals to your taste, give it a try. The panang curry was also a solid dish as well. According to the locals you can't go wrong on the menu! A bit pricey, but we will try much more once we're back, and I definitely would come back and visit again.

Yelp
Salaya has a wide range of vegan Thai offerings on its menu, bursting with different veggies, mock meats, and tofu. They are a great choice for both a casual dine-in experience and take-out or delivery. The employees are friendly and will make you feel at home. I eat here frequently and I have enjoyed most of the dishes I've tried, with a couple of rare exceptions. Overall, their ingredients are fresh and flavorful. My parents are picky eaters and even they love eating here so that's how you know it has to be good!

Zoe Z.

Yelp
This has become our go-to place for takeout. We've tried the orange chicken, wonton soup, veggie spring rolls, tuna crispy rice and green curry fried rice. Everything slaps, and portions are generous. Do not skip the orange chicken! Delivery was fast and everything came well packaged as well. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

Yelp
I found this mentioned on a YouTube channel I watch. I'm so glad that I did save it in my Yelp app to try when I was up in LA next. We were hungry and tried a faux shrimp and walnut dish, and here's the best thing about this, my husband has gout so only eats chicken for protein. But he can eat a faux shrimp and he liked it, plus I brought my brother from Canada, we all enjoyed the sweet flavor of the dish, the sauce with the walnut was so good. I loved the faux shrimp too.

Yelp
This restaurant is a nice, simple, and casual place. It shares a small parking lot with some other businesses but we found a spot easily since we arrived not too long after opening. The service was very sweet and friendly. She was attentive without being too in your face and didn't just leave us alone the whole time. Food: Overall, every dish was suuuuper tasty! My no. 1 recommend is the crispy chicken larb salad. I loved the savory and tangy flavors that were working together in the dish. It was perfect. My only wish was that there were more onions but no complaints whatsoever! Thai Jerk Wings - So surprising! I was interested in the dish upon seeing it in the menu but was worried it wouldn't be that great. The sauce was yum. I loved biting into the "wings" and then getting some of that garlic. Corn Cakes - I tried making these at home before and failed miserably :') These were wonderfully crispy and crunchy! You get a bit of a sweet taste from the corn and it really hits as a nice snack/appetizer dish. Panang Curry - By the time they brought this out, I was already feeling stuffed! I had a few tastes though and it was a delight. Very creamy and savory, had a good balance. The portion is HUGE compared to a majority of other Thai places. They don't skimp on you here. Thai Iced Tea - They have the option of soy, almond, or coconut milk and I chose coconut! I think it worked well to give this iconic drink another layer of flavor. Very refreshing! I'm a simple girl so a Thai Tea can never get messed up for me. I highly recommend this place! Whether you do take out or eat there, please give this place a try. Their prices are standard for Thai restaurants but their portions are worth it. We will be back FOR SURE. After a being treated so rudely by a different vegan Thai place, we've been searching for a new replacement and this one is even better!

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place while heading back to Orange County and after seeing it was entirely vegan, I ordered a couple dishes for pick up. I loved it! We tried the avocado curry with broccoli and the spicy eggplant with steamed tofu. Both were incredible! I actually preferred eating all of the elements of the avocado curry without the avocado chunks which I know kind of defeats the purpose but all of the other flavors were so good. The eggplant was also tender and well cooked. I can't wait to come back and try more things!

Yelp
This is the first vegan restaurant I tried out of my will and wow it was delicious. The orange chicken tasted great, a bit too sweet for my taste though. The hot wings were crunchy and juicy, but it was a bit too spicy for me. Crispy chicken noodle was crunchy for the chicken and noodles were sweet. The bok choy came out a bit dry, not sure if that was meant to be. Food 4/5, service was great and ambiance was good for quick meals. I recommend!

Yelp
This place was awesome. The food was outstanding. Got the veggie roll with baked tofu that was perfect and then I also got the fat noodles with broccoli and tofu Lots of broccoli not skimpy on the tofu and the noodles were tasty. The gal behind the counter was very nice and helpful, attentive, and a good server.

Yelp
Delicious plant-based, vegan restaurant located in East Hollywood! Visited here for the first time at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night to meet a new friend. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to find parking. I'm unsure if this is usual, but fortunately, I got super lucky and found neighborhood parking on a nearby street after circling around for 10 minutes. There are an abundance of menu options spanning various cuisines--American, burgers, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and more! We ordered numerous dishes--pad Thai, yellow curry, Chinese broccoli, and vegan "chicken wings". How was everything? AMAZING. WOW. I've been vegetarian and mostly eating vegan for the past 8+ years, having tried many different vegetarian places. This place was phenomenal, and after ordering, everything came out so quickly (within 5-10 minutes? It was so fast!!)! There were 4 other parties dining with us. Highly recommend and definitely plan to come back! At least next time, I'll be more prepared for the parking situation because circling around was just not it, haha. Check out the images below showcasing the delicious foods!

Yelp
Great recco Yelp. Had tofu larb salad and could not wait to dig in so sorry no pic. Unbelievably good! Beautiful presentation so apologies for no pic. My wife had spicy tuna and the pictured dynamite shrimp role. Insane prep for such an unassuming place. Also delicious. Vegan crème brûlée killed it. Just nuts how good this place is. If you are anywhere near Hollywood go! Vegan or not this place will be a meal matched anywhere!

Yelp
Randomly stopped by this place after visiting the observatory and man what a gem this place is. My wife and I were craving some Thai food, and this place hit the spot. The food is so flavorful and delicious, and the spice level is adjustable. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and the staff is super kind and hospitable. All the things you'd want to enjoy some good food and a quiet evening with someone. Pro tip, get some roti if you have a Curry for some dipping goodness. Definitely check this place out and enjoy!

Yelp
I love this place! Located in Thai town, it's entirely plant based but tasted just like the real thing. I had the Basil crispy chicken and it was to die for, the best crispy chicken i've ever had and it was plant protein. The vegetables are perfect, still fresh and crispy and the sauce is perfectly balanced and not masking the taste. Rice was excellent as well. The owners clearly know what they are doing and i just hope to see this restaurant branch out. You're welcome to open up a restaurant in Palm Springs anytime!

Matski X.

Yelp
Pad Thai here was excellent. Their vegan chicken is best I've had. I wasn't enthralled with the Pad See Ew, but, whatever. I will be back.

Yelp
I love Salaya!!!! Stumbled upon this place a week after moving to the east hollywood area and quickly became my go to! Everything I've ever tried here was delicious. The appetizers, curries, noodles, desserts, and even the sushi. The staff is fast and friendly and the food is always served hot! Even for take out. Love that everything is vegan and so flavorful. You have to try it. My go to order is spicy edamame, panang curry, roti and the crème brûlée!!! Chefs kiss. Thank you Salaya

Yelp
VEGAN REVIEW What a find! Thanks, Yelp & Google Came here for a late-ish (for us at least.. 9:30) after a show at the Pantages. Quick 5 minute drive from the craziness of Hollywood & Vine. Glad there were four of us, so we could try multiple dishes! Had the dumplings to start- crunchy & delicious. Pumpkin curry was AMAZING-- so flavorful. Spicy eggplant was spot on. Green beans were also super. We got different proteins added-- tofu, chicken & beef. The mock chicken might be the best I've had in my 30+ years of being plant based. Garlicky noodles were probably the least favorite, but only because all the other dishes were truly outrageously good. Thai iced tea was yummy. FAST service. Super affordable. Clean & comfortable space. Parking is kind of a pain but that's show business, baby!

Yelp
I came here with two others as I appreciate the large amount of vegetarian options offered. Their menu is a combination of Thai food and what might loosely be considered western "American" food. I tried the Beyond pies and bleu burger. For the beyond pies (which are, as you might guess, made of Beyond meat which is a good option for those who can't have soy). The sauce was pretty strong but yummy, and it came with 3 pies. They're kind of like turnovers or those meat pies you might've gotten in elementary or middle school cafeterias in US schools. As for the bleu burger, it didn't have much bleu taste. It was still decent since it came with a generous amount of fries, though.

Yelp
I've only gotten delivery so I can't comment on service or ambiance but the food is consistently delicious. I've had the Fireworks roll, pad see ew, orange chicken, fish w panang curry and garlic shrimp. They were all really flavorful with satisfying textures. Highly recommended.

Prashanth N.

Yelp
Tucked away in a small strip mall, nice ambiance, great service. A bit tricky to find parking in the complex. Extensive vegan menu, hard to choose from. Ordered dumplings, spring rolls, Tom Kha soup and Khao Soi. Everything was delicious. It was very busy on Christmas Day when we dropped in for dinner. Mainly take out orders gumming them up. They constantly apologized for the delays. Overall service, attitude, quality of food all made it up and well worth it. Definitely will visit again
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and reasonable prices. They even cut the coconut for me so I could eat its protein. Amazing team!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and was blown away by how delicious our dishes were. We ordered the papaya salad, khao soi and blazing chicken. I appreciate that their 'mild' is actually mild. I'll be back to try other dishes for sure! The restaurant is located in a small plaza with a small parking lot - otherwise, it's street parking.
google avatar

Sally L.

Yelp
Food 5 Service 5 Ambiance cute!5 Parking is a limited in the lot but worth finding parking on the street and run to eat here3 Currently: home and regretting I didn't order more And have left overs...
google avatar

Yelp
I got crispy rice tuna and the Thai jerk wings. The sauce on the wings was very watery and didn't stick to the actual wing itself. The wings remind me of HOPE in that they're sliced. Nothing amazing but okay The crispy rice was great but I wish there was more flavor to the tuna itself. Excited to try more options. I had to ask for soy sauce and they only gave me two packets. They also gave a cucumber salad in some sort of clear broth, wasabi, and ginger. I arrived slightly before 6:00 p.m. and I was able to find parking however when I came out at 6:10 p.m. the parking lot was crowded so I recommend coming early if you're meeting someone and eating in.

Yelp
One of the best meals we have had in awhile! We came for a late lunch and enjoyed EVERYTHING we had. We started with the spicy green curry samosas. They were tasty though we didn't find them spicy at all. Good on their own or with the sauce. Next, the Thai jerk wings. A match of flavorful cuisines made in heaven. Don't skip em!! My partner said they are the best vegan/vegetarian wings he's ever had. The sauce is OUTSTANDING. I would come back just for these! Something new we tried was the Koa Kling (the second was really based on other reviewers photos!). I've already looked up recipes to make it at home. It's packed with flavor. We loved how the green beans were cut, the veggies were cooked perfectly, and the green peppercorns were great too. Finally we got the Khao Soi with chicken, which came with the lime, cilantro, red onion, and pickled greens which are the perfect condiments. The sauce was so delicious, I didn't want it to end. One of our favorite versions we've ever had. We also got Thai iced tea and coffee and loved them both. They offer 3 milks to choose from - coconut, soy, and I forget the third. While we were at the table my partner said he wished we had this back home. We'd return any time we're visiting LA! What a treat. If the delicious food wasn't enough, the service was excellent too, so friendly and patient and kind. All around a wonderful experience. Another day while working from our hotel we ordered delivery of the tofu Larb and loved it too.

Yelp
One of my favorite vegan restaurants in Hollywood. The parking can be difficult at times since it is in a small lot, but there is street parking available. There is a wide variety to choose from - mainly Thai/Asian cuisine, but American (burgers, fries, etc.) are on the menu as well. I have tried the tom yum fried rice with "chicken", carnitas tots (no longer on the menu :c ) pad thai with "beef", yellow curry, and koh mun gai - all in which they were delicious and flavorful. The portions are sharable & can be split amongst 2-3 people. The food came out fairly quickly considering how busy they were. If I had to choose a dish to try, I would recommend the tom yum fried rice - it includes mushrooms, cilantro, lots of onion, tomatoes, and your choice of meat. Also jam packed with so much flavor and spice! The inside of the restaurant is very clean and spacious. During my recent visit, there was only a few people dining in, but a lot of delivery drivers coming in and out. Service was okay - nothing stood out to me that made them differ from other restaurants. Upon entrance, they greeted and offered us to seat wherever we would like.

Yelp
SERVICE - located in a small shopping complex in Thai Town - limited parking available in lot - plenty of indoor seating available - many people also doing take out orders - servers mostly just doing their job to fulfill orders and do not go out of their way to make conversation - ambiance good for casual dinner or lunch - food served relatively quickly MENU - all vegan Thai food - some international fusion dishes also available - average price ($16 per entree) FOOD - dumplings in green curry (6/10): tofu and mixed vegetable dumplings in a green curry coconut base with bamboo shoots, basil, green beans, and bell peppers. The green curry is very flavorful and creamy and the vegetables in it are cooked so that they maintain some crunch. The dumplings lack a strong flavor and the filling is slightly mushy. I would order the green curry again but probably not the dumplings. - khao soi (9/10): noodles with tofu, carrot, onion in yellow curry sauce served with bean sprouts, pickled mustard, and lime and topped with crispy noodles. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes ever but most places do not make it vegan since they use egg noodles and chicken. I really enjoy the creaminess of the khao soi that maintains its flavor without being overpoweringly coconutty. It also has a good ratio of noodles to vegetables. The dish can be a bit rich so I would recommend sharing between 2 people. WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! This is my third time eating from here and my first time dining in

Rick R.

Yelp
Very well made vegan Thai in thai town. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Prices weren't too high for La. The chicken and beef basil was pretty good. Dumplings were spot on too. Parking was a bit tough on the crowded street but street parking is available. Will visit again. Food was filling but not too heavy for the heat.

Yelp
All I can say is holy .. this meal was incredible. I've had these pics in my phone for a while meaning to do this review because it was so well deserved. From the egg rolls to the soup to the entrees nothing missed. The hostesses were great and accommodating getting us a high chair for the little one. Both my girls couldn't control themse The vibes were great and exactly what you'd expect from a great Thai place. I never really venture this side of town but can't wait til I go back so I can stop by here! Thanks again

Yelp
This is the absolute best Thai restaurant I've ever ate at! I came back for the second time in less than a day! Amazing flavor and taste! I love it so much! I ordered a chicken curry meal with some fried veggie roll appetizers. So delicious! Way beyond my expectations! I just love how this restaurant strongly promotes a healthy Asian cuisine diet (e.g. 100 percent plant-based, brown rice, veggie meals). Their food menu is very convenient for me as I am trying to eat healthier. It's too bad that I do not live close to the restaurant but, I will always come by whenever I am around the downtown area for leisure. I can tell that the restaurant is doing an amazing job because I kept seeing people coming in to pick up their phone/online orders. The owners and staff (Thai immigrants) are super friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
Everything I've had there is so tasty. Good prices good portions 10/10. The green curry puffs are really good as well as the Tom Kah

George S.

Yelp
Vegan Thai/Japanese food in a mini mall. Everyone was good except for the extra teriyaki sauce was too salty/slightly medicinal tasting. If the veggies were cooked in the same sauce as the "chicken" that would have been ace. Nice, friendly service. Not inexpensive but nothing is anymore. Green curry was really good.

Yelp
My friend and I were looking for a place to celebrate some good news after a hike and decided to go to an all vegan place. There were soooooo many amazing sounding options but I'm super happy with the food we picked. We shared everything family style. The spicy edamame is not that spicy actually it's more sweet and salty w crispy garlic bits and so addicting!! It was my favorite along with the chicken satay which I think was soy based but SO good soft with a little crisp on the outside and the peanut sauce was perfect consistency and taste. The orange chicken was also good and came w a side of steamed rice. The only thing we didn't like was the wonton soup which had a dry filling and bland base. TLDR: Food YUM (esp edamame & chicken satay) and ALL vegan, soooo many choices, Eh wonton soup, pretty good price, lovely service

Yelp
This place is off the chain amazing ! It's been on my list of vegan spots to try in LA and when we were driving thru it felt like the right time and place to try it. Cute and clean atmosphere and the hostess/server is very friendly ! The food is to die for and not just in a this is good for a vegan place type of way . The omnivore I was with said it was one of their fave restaurants ever! It's mainly Thai with all of the usual faves plus their own spin on fusion dishes, Japanese sushi and more . I love when places have some signature unique dishes and they really do . We got the buffalo cauliflower- amazing you're gonna want an extra side of ranch . The snap pea salad - so unique and refreshing the sour savory sauce is to die for. My partner got the pad kra pao his go to and it was amazing full of veggies , the chickun is juicy and the thai basil flavor is addicting I got the vermicelli with turmeric coconut chicken curry and let me tell you - this noodles had the best texture and the sauce so complex and comforting . You can really tell they use fresh ingredients! There is a lot of competition in LA and this place has earned its spot as one of the best. Wish we had room for dessert ! We will definitely be back when we are in LA there are so many things I still want to try ! Thank you Salaya for the wonderful experience .

Yelp
Always great food and friendly service. They are definitely a staple restaurant for me. The green curry fried rice is fantastic with a good amount of heat, and is a favorite of my girlfriend. And their yellow curry is one of my go-to's. The place is cute and all the dishes feel healthy and cozy in addition to being delicious.

Yelp
I cannot wait to go back to this restaurant. The sushi, the noodles and the mango sticky rice We're so delicious. I cannot stop thinking about the meal! The sticky rice was honestly the best. Everyone has to try it.

Yelp
This place has sooo many options for vegans. We ordered 8 different dishes and they were all amazing. Especially their sushi rolls. Staff are friendly.

Yelp
We love this place but they've raised their prices at least 3 times in the last few months so soon we won't be able to anymore. Bummer.

Yelp
I have found the dish of my desires at last, and Salaya has it. Let me explain. For years, I've said it should be possible to create a vegan chicken larb dish that's delicious and tastes pretty similar. While I'm not vegan, I would prefer to eat a plant-based diet as much as possible. Salaya has created vegan chicken larb. And yeah, it ticks all the boxes. Ground veggie chicken, carrots, red onions, green onions, mint and toasted rice powder flavored with chili lime dressing - they take all this and through some sort of kitchen wizardry, create this fantastic dish. It's delicious, tasty, and, well, tastes like chicken larb. This is located in a small strip mall in the middle of Thai Town. The medium is surprisingly hot. Now, I like that, but I write this as a heads up to all those who think they are going to get something that's not too hot. It actually packs some heat. If you're on the fence, go for the mild. Regardless of what heat you like, it'll be flavorful. Good service, pleasant atmosphere.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is super tasty, and the people are so nice. My only complaint is that the shared parking lot can get crowded, so I do pick-up a lot because I can double park in the lot and grab my food pretty quickly.

Yelp
AMAZING!!!! Amazing food, service and ambience! We order so much food and it was all worth it. I recommend the chive pancake it's not on the new menu but you can ask for it 9/10 it would be a 10 if they fry it harder next time I'll ask. 10/10 for buffalo wings flavor and texture was amazing. The Tom khar soup is my go to soup it never miss with a side of nice noodles 10/10. The honey walnut shrimp 9/10 wish they would've put more sauce and made it a bit sweeter. For dessert we ordered the banana roll with ice cream 9/10 and the crème brûlée 4/10 it taste egggie and more savory than sweet DONT GET IT. Park is hard to find because the parking lot in super small and shared with other restaurants but that's to be expected in L.A. I look forward to trying new things on my next visit. Definitely one of the best plant based restaurants in L.A. with a big menu.

Yelp
One of the best if not the best Vegan Thai in LA. I've only had the Thai foods not the burgers or sandwiches, but the Thai is delicious, authentic and so spicy if you request it that way. The Koi Soi is delicious! The Tofu Larb is the best I've ever had! Incredible food!

Yelp
I just tried Salaya for the first time; I had the snap pea salad and it was so good. The flavors and textures are perfect.

Yelp
A must try place for Vegan Asian food. They also have some plant based meat options. Also, their Thai had some good tofu options. We tried their Panang Curry with Brown Rice & Spicy Garlic Noodles with tofu. The serve quantity was good. The service was a little slow due to limited staff, but the overall experience was satisfactory. They also had Ramen, soups & Sushi options. Though most of sushi options were fake meat based, but we will certainly try their Ramen & soups next time.
