Google
We are big Greek food lovers and I was so excited to come across this place and familiar menu items. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great decor. Loved the ease of ordering and the quick food delivery. The food was delicious and when we had a small issue with one of the orders, the staff handled it with professionalism and offered us a replacement. Absolutely recommend for a quick and delicious meal in Harvard square area. We'd would come back next time we visit. (Oh, and free iced water on a hot day was very much appreciated.)

Google
Great food and pretty good prices! Big dining area, water, and restroom. Cashiers were kind and the bar also looked good.

Had the most fabulous Village Salad. I added chicken and a pita, which made it even better. Recommended!

Google
Very friendly customer service. Great place to get Greek food and the music really hits when you’re eating too. If you’re a student, you’re in luck because they give out really good free fries if you have your student ID on you. I got a side of crispy smashed potatoes that were really good and the Yia Yia soup which was a tomato soup with an impact punch of flavor. I also got the grilled chicken plate with a side of fries on my other visit which was really good. Definitely recommend this place for Greek food dining!

Google
We decided to get this place a try, decent food and service, but we thought it could be much better. The fries were way too salted and over seasoned. We tried the souvlaki chicken and cryspy chicken gyros wraps which were decent, but chicken was a bit dry.

Google
Food and atmosphere was really good. We got a couple things off the menu including the Greek donuts. I liked the sauce, and the fries were seasoned really well. The chicken was a bit dry but no issue.

Google
Delicious Greek specialties. They offer fun fruit drinks too. Plenty of seating, booths, tables, and power outlets too for the workaholics. Service was very courteous and helpful.

Google
The Dubai chocolate froyo is easily a 5 star menu item!! Definitely try that if you're craving a dessert. The restaurant is relatively spacious and you can either order from self-ordee machines or go up to the front. Lots of pita and plate options. If you're a student, you get free fries if you show your student id! Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back
google avatar

Yelp
Came specifically to try the three dubai chocolate items they just added to their menu: the cookie, greek froyo, and donuts. Everything was super good! Didn't expect the tart flavor of the froyo but it was super refreshing and I ended up really liking it. The donuts were fresh, but definitely very heavy after eating a couple. The food took a while but our server was very friendly. A very casual spot with plenty of seating and cute decor!

Yelp
Friday was busy! Few seats. I ordered zucchini fritters! Yum. Water Decanter in case you need lots of water. Ffries and soups look good too. (; Denise Patnod Cambridge.

Yelp
A decent Greek spot next to Harvard. Stopped by for lunch after visiting some museums. A solid Greek spot with a nice ambiance. Service was fast and the order kiosks made it easy to peruse the menu. I ordered the Greek lamb and grain bowl ($14.99). The lamb meatballs were very good and I loved the large Greek beans. The tomato broth did make it more watery than what appeared on the menu. My girlfriend got the braised pork pita with a side of tzatziki. The better dish in my opinion. Fresh veggies and slaw paired with the pork shoulder. Overall a decent lunch spot if you want something quick 3.6 / 5

Yelp
I'm most often in the Fenway location, but the Harvard location was around for date night with my girlfriend, so we stopped for a dinner together. We go to Saloniki often, and I have to say I prefer the Fenway location overall. Our food took longer than expected, and it wasn't super crowded. It seemed to be a bit of a hassle for us to take advantage of the free fries for students (with proof of ID), but it got figured out. Once our food arrived, everything was delicious! Saloniki never fails food-wise and it hits the spot every time. Different from the Fenway location, they put crumbled feta on the fries instead of shaved, which I appreciated. I however believe that the service at Fenway is faster and the employees are more sociable and personable to their customers, which can make the experience all the better. Saloniki, you never fail!

Yelp
The feast! Food came out fast and the portion size was huge. I missed it in the menu details but the feast came with a side Greek salad. The salad was very refreshing! The grilled chicken skewer was gigantic lol, well seasoned, a little bit dry, but everything comes together with the tzatziki sauce. The grilled halloumi was delicious but a bit too salty. The indoor was spacious and clean.
google avatar

Alper T.

Yelp
BRILLIANT!!! Concept, location, dishes. Love the food, i wish i had one of these around me. Can eat this everyday. Look at the dishes, opens your appetite immediately. First you eat with your eyes, then mouth. Grilled halloumi always my favorite. Chicken souvlaki superb. Deserts yumm!!! Wish had some tarama salata. Will definitely be back again!! PS. Location downtown close to State house, needs a touch immediately !!! Staff is extremely RUDE!! Like Spanish music, should not play all the time!! Need some bouzouki!! Action needed please!!

Yelp
First time here and I was not disappointed. Service was fine as it's more food court style type of setup. They have water and cups here and well to self serve. And it's connected to the Harvard building on the inside so if u have a water bottle u can fill it up there as well. We got eh family feast and filled up our family of 4 with a little leftover. Wife was happy with lamb meatballs but wished they were hotter. Everything was delicious. The inside was comfortable, clean and there is patio seating as well. The receipt will have the code for the washroom as well.
google avatar

Kent V.

Yelp
The place is casual nice. You order up at the counter and they bring you your items. There was a little snafu with 2 out of our 4 orders and we had to wait a while before we got our correct order, but we all agreed that the food was delicious and worth the wait! My chicken dish was super flavorful, moist. Didn't even need a garlic sauce because it had so much flavor already. Salad had a great dressing and the whole meal felt light and healthy. Their greek ice tea tasted super fresh with mint flavor. Would highly recommend eating here for a casual and delicious meal!

Yelp
I got the grilled chicken meal with brown rice for takeout. It was ready for pickup on time and the chicken was nice and juicy! I wasn't a huge fan of the vinaigrette or feta, though and the rice could've been cooked a little longer. Good for a quick meal!
google avatar

Chanda R.

Yelp
Food- I got one of the chicken meal dishes. Im not sure if it was an off day but I didn't enjoy the dish Service- everyone was friendly but it took well over 30 minutes for my order to be fulfilled despite coming 20 minutes before the lunch rush hour Ambiance - lovely decor comfortable plenty of seating and they even have a bar which when I went didn't look to be open since it was lunch time. But maybe something to check out one evening

Yelp
Pita w spread slaps. Potato's were really good too. Entrees were decent just wish more protein was given. Good side sauces

J M.

Yelp
Soooo delicious, I will definitely order again. Vegetarian friendly as well. The food I ordered was also packaged nicely, not thrown together in one container.
google avatar

Yelp
The Saloniki at Harvard Square has a very nice atmosphere, it is very open, airy and relaxing. Our order of two chicken plates took around 25 minutes to be prepared which was longer then expected as it did not appear to be that busy. The food was average, not much flavor and room temp. The sauces were good but the chicken was in the drier side and not juicy, same with the rice. The lemonades were very sour, even for lemonade, which I enjoyed but they were a bit much for my friend.
google avatar

Allison L.

Yelp
Saloniki is a popular lunch destination for people at my company, so I decided to try it too. I thought it was pretty good and a solid option to go with coworkers/friends for a casual lunch. I got the chicken souvlaki wrap. The grilled chicken skewer was so juicy and good, and very well spiced. It had a good amount veggies and Tzatziki sauce so it didn't taste dry. The wrap is also very easy to eat- it didn't fall apart and wasn't messy at all. My only complaint was that the wrap was kind of small for how much I paid for it. $12 is a bit pricey for basically one chicken skewer and I felt like I could still eat afterwards. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
This place is chef's kiss! For anyone looking to get delicious well seasoned and perfectly cooked protein with authentic greek condiments (tzatziki fan here!) without breaking the bank or doing the hassle of a reservation eons in advance, this is the spot. The chicken souvlaki and all their potato sides are amazing! Free fries if you show your student ID. Also, don't sleep on their frozen yogurt! It's amazing. The ambience is of a usual fast-food ish restaurant.
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean and comfortable with nice restrooms. Staff was friendly. Ordered the family feast which was 6 meatballs, 3 chicken skewers, 3 cheese wedges, cucumber tomato salad and fries and pita. It was good but all dry, and the tzatziki was tiny for that amount of food. They charge extra for that which is disappointing after having ordered their most expensive meal option.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised at how good Saloniki was! I'm not the biggest fan of Mediterranean cuisine so perhaps my palate is not the most discerning; but I rather enjoyed my dinner the other night. I had the braised pork pita, which was great! Pork was juicy, pita bread fluffy, and the veggies added a nice contrast in texture to the wrap (?). Very tasty overall, would definitely recommend. Portion size was a bit smaller than expected, but so too was the price - which makes this strictly better, I think? Anyways - I thought the size was great for my appetite at the time, but I tend to prefer smaller meals than most, so ymmv Anyways, I'm keen to try some of their other meals in the future - will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The donuts exceeded my expectations. It was crispy with a warm and chewy center. It tasted more like fried dough rather than donuts. I would for sure order this again!

Yelp
Super yummy Greek food! I was starving and walked by this fancy looking place and decided to try it and dine in. It's an order at the counter and they bring the food to you type of place. I went with their chicken wrap and asked for the fries on the side cause I'm a weirdo. I also got their grilled cheese because I was starving and wanted more food.. haha. There is plenty of seating for groups or if you're by yourself. I decided on their front window stool seating which was a nice view of the street. The decor is really nice and trendy. There is a full size bar which maybe is open at a later time but I didn't notice that it was being used. My food came out nice and warm and looked great. The grilled cheese was super yummy and it was nice and salty. The chicken wrap was also very good. It had the perfect amount of sauce and it didn't fall apart as I quickly devoured it. The chicken was nice and juicy and full of flavor, it really hit the spot. I will definitely come and try some other items on their menu.

Yelp
I like their food & have gone to their various locations, for some reason they don't offer vegan options that isn't something highly processed unlike the rest of their food. I do enjoy their food, just wish they had more vegan options & that everything wasn't a separate charge. I was highly disappointed in how messy & dirty it was. People don't clean up after themselves & then saw how the trash area was overflowing & nowhere to put anything. They really need to do better.
google avatar

Yelp
WOW! I hope that this chain is brought to California. With so many options, even for vegetarians, this is the perfect refreshing and healthy place to go. I tried the zucchini feta fritters, but there was also a Beyond meat option too. The Mykonos bowl was an amazing portion size and came with a Greek salad plus protein (recommended by the staff)- my favorite were the olives and pepperoncinis added. The iced tea wasn't my favorite as it wasn't too sweet, but it's a hydrating choice for someone craving black tea and lemon. With cute Greek decor, this place is a great spot to grab lunch with friends.

Ariel G.

Yelp
The soda station had cups so we assumed we could just take free soda but the cups were only for water so we had to pay for it. There should be a sign that they're only for water. The food took a little while, and when we got it, the food was not what we ordered. We asked for two chicken pitas without bacon and onions but it came with the bacon and the onions. They replaced it but the chicken this time was undercooked, it was pink inside. So they replaced it again, which took even longer. For all our troubles, the least they could have done was to not charge for the chicken but they did charge for them. Needless to say, we will not return here.

Yelp
I came here for the first time on Monday right as they opened at noon. There was a small crowd of maybe ~6 customers in the restaurant. I ordered a chicken plate ($14.99) and waited about 15 minutes for my food. The interior of this place is huge and the decor is super cute. It seems like a great place to have a casual meal. I thought the food was okay. The fries were my favorite part-- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. Everything else wasn't super mind-blowing. The chicken was juicy but a bit too greasy for my liking. The veggies in the salad weren't fresh and the vinegar in the salad was quite heavy. I generally prefer softer, chewier pitas and the pita here was dense. I could see myself coming here for their fries, but I'd skip the chicken plate.

Bridget C.

Yelp
Loved the bowl with chicken and lemon sauce. Paired it with a Caesar salad. It was perfect to share. Very tasty. Great service. They have no more metal forks as people have been stealing them. So sad! Great business.
google avatar

Allie S.

Yelp
I figured I should update my review since I don't just get donuts from Saloniki (though there's nothing wrong if you do!). I have to say their chicken options are very good. I really like their Souvlaki meal option. It's pretty filling as it comes with one skewer, fries, salad and pita. You can always order the larger meal for more chicken but then you wouldn't have room for desserts... The donuts are still a great choice if you want a fresh and hot dessert but another option are the baklava crisps which you can eat at a later time.

Valeriia D.

Yelp
It's delightful spot that serves delicious Greek cuisine. The menu offers a bunch of options and they have very clear allergy information. The service was fast, making it an ideal place for a quick yet tasty meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The seating area is nice and pretty quiet with plenty of natural light.
google avatar

Kit D.

Yelp
Great place on Harvard square for a bite to eat. The service was fast and accommodating, but the restaurant is small and was crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed the grilled chicken pita, but it would've been tastier if there were more fries. Pita itself was homemade and grainy. Everything at Harvard is pricey.. but solid :)
google avatar

Becca V.

Yelp
The zucchini feta fritters are superb! I want more right now! Great service. Everyone was warm and welcoming! 5 stars! Will definitely return again!
google avatar

Christine J.

Yelp
I've been here a few times since its opening but always ordered the chicken plate, and it is decent: not bad, not great. I recently ordered their signature chicken in pita. There were 3-4 fries in my pita and at first I thought that was a mistake, but apparently that's how they serve it and it is surprisingly delicious! The 3-4 fries adds so much flavor to the pita wrap... and you don't feel guilty for eating an entire order of fries! Genius.
google avatar

Sunny C.

Yelp
I discovered this place through catered work lunches and I'm so pleasantly surprised at how consistently good it is! My usual go to is the Grilled Pita Sandwich which has grilled chicken, pieces of lettuce, tomato and their greek dressing/yogurt. The meat is fresh, not dry, and doesn't feel greasy. It comes with some fries - a total of about $12, which isn't inexpensive but I think it's worth it. The portion is on the smaller side but again, I would still recommend it if you're in the area. I think most of their business is through take out or to-go orders so the establishment is usually on the emptier side, so it's easily accessible if you feel like sitting down for your lunch etc. The decor is cute and I could also see it fitting for friends, dates, coworkers, solo etc. Stop by and enjoy!
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
The good: overall the food was ok. The fries were very tasty. The atmosphere was good and the seating was clean. The meh, meat balls were way too salty. There wasnt any plates provided. A code for the bathroom is very annoying.
google avatar

Jillian C.

Yelp
I am a Greek food fanatic and heard great things about this place so thought I'd try it out. I ordered the 1/2 chicken which came with potatoes and village salad. The chicken was out of this world, bursting with flavor. 10/10 would definitely order this again just for the chicken! The griddled spanakopita was a unique option (compared to your typical spanakopita)...would rate this a 6/10. I would definitely go back here and try the gyros! Overall, great experience and best chicken you'll get in the area!

Laeticia A.

Yelp
Great and welcoming vibes! and the food is so consistently good! Plenty of vegetarian options and great at any time of day. The staff is also amazing! Love this spot!
google avatar

Franklin Z.

Yelp
The food was surprisingly very good! I say surprisingly because it didn't leave a very lasting impression for me when I came a few years back but decided to try it again. Got the pork plate, which included fries, cucumber salad, pita, and their spicy whipped feta sauce. I enjoyed it all and was able to make a pita sandwich with all the ingredients. The only thing is that I don't typically eat a lot of feta cheese but this meal had a lot of feta on the cucumbers and in the sauce, which made for feta overload. I also wish there was more of a real salad with greens in the plate - was looking more for a healthier plate. All in all, it was filling but not overly. Then, we got to try the Greek Doughnuts - very good if you're into sweets. The whole ambiance of the place is nicee though - they place a lot of attention to the decor and space definitely looks better than just a fast casual restaurant decor. Their packaging for their to-go boxes are fun, too. They come in unique box sizes that make the experience a lot more fun. I'm glad I came back to try Saloniki, because now I'd like to come back to try other items. A solid place overall in Harvard Square
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
This place is by far my favorite "fast food" place in Harvard Square. Always so good and very consistent with quality. My favorite delivery order if I'm staying in as well.
google avatar

Lilly c.

Yelp
This is a new favorite for sure! This salad was filling, good quality, reasonably priced ($14 salad) and delicious. I'm so so happy with this place and will definitely be back!
google avatar

Peter B.

Yelp
Decent food, nice space, convenient location. Felt a bit rushed ordering, new employee who didn't really know menu, but had able assistance from mgr/colleague
google avatar

Christina A.

Yelp
Obsessed with this spot! Everything about this concept (making Greek food accessible and convenient while still being absolutely delicious and gourmet) is amazing to me. I'm a huge Greek food fan and this spot is high on my list of "multiple visits to try everything on the menu". I especially loved their fried feta fritters (so good) and their falafel wrap. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Dennis G.

Yelp
Excellent Greek food. I had the chicken souvlaki and the meat was tender, juicy and tasty. Fine selection of Greek beers. Pita and hummus also good. Affordable. Clean and Greek -themed interior. Friendly service
google avatar

Sean J.

Yelp
Awesome place! I love Greek food and I loved this place. We got some take out on a Friday night. Great taste, size, and value for a quick eat. The pitas were very good, the tzatziki and fries really brought it next level. The lamb meatball was a different spin on gyro, but it too was excellent. The feta fries were solid too. I suppose the feta topping could have been a little more distributed. It they were very good. The cherry limeade was decent as well. All in all an excellent spot. I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's not terribly pricy either. Go check it out!
google avatar

Areeba Z.

Yelp
This is a cute little space at Harvard square. I ordered the Mt. Olympus Salad ($12.50) that came with chicken and a lot of other salad things. The serving size is more than enough for a meal (I'm not complaining). I wish the salad was pre-mixed because it was difficult to mix in the container. The interior is absolutely beautiful! It was closed due to covid precautions but the patio outside is open. Would recommend going in for some quick fast food.
google avatar

Jae P.

Yelp
Saloniki has some delicious Greek-style donuts and frozen yogurt. The donuts come out hot and fresh, and are delicious pieces of fried dough that melt in your mouth. The frozen yogurt is delicious and heavily tastes of Greek yogurt. Wasn't the biggest fan of the pairing with olive oil - will definitely pass on that in the future. Service was on the slower end and there is a ton of seating inside.
google avatar

Marvin B.

Yelp
Saloniki has been one of my go to's during my lunch breaks. I typically get the Impossible Pita, which thankfully is also vegan! The impossible meatballs are nice and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I love the addition of the fries, which add some starch to it. The charred eggplant sauce also adds another great layer of flavor to the dish. My only critique would be that the lettuce/veggies aren't always the freshest, but it is still pretty good! In addition to the food, the overall aesthetic and ambiance of the inside is actually really nice. It sometimes feels like I'm not in Cambridge when I eat indoors. The staff can definitely be more welcoming and friendly, but I do typically get my food in a relatively quick manner. Saloniki's will definitely continue to be one of my go to's in Harvard Square!

Rhett F.

Yelp
This place has the all-time best Greek food. The service was excellent, too; the staff was super friendly. We came here almost every day when I was in Boston, and they didn't mind that we were there every day. I would recommend this place. P.S. I was there last year and forgot to post this. Even though there are only five stars, I give it 10/5 stars .
google avatar

Derek K.

Yelp
I got the souvlaki chicken wrap and it was absolutely delicious. Good spices and seasoning. Even door dashed. I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
(pre-Covid-19 experience) I was taking a walk for something sweet and Mike's Pastry wasn't doing it for me since I had just enjoyed some Italian treats the past weekend. So I thought I would pop into Saloniki Greek across the street to see what options they might have. Greek donuts looked great, but where not ideal for grab and go and maybe not eat till later. But a a tray of fanned out thin baklava sat beside them on the counter. And then I spied clear plastic boxes of the same, packed in 4s. The menu stated the price was $4, and the cashier confirmed that was per box, so it would have been a dollar a piece a la carte. I got myself a box, and ate one later. It was light and crisp and mildly sweet. Only thing odd about it is that I'm not used to the taste of sesame in my baklava. Not a dealbreaker though in my book. I walked through the dining room to borrow their bathroom and found it cozy and warm. A nice set up for this fast casual establishment in Harvard Square.
google avatar

Lance M.

Yelp
"Music" overpowering; not a Greek atmosphere. Food was average (and a bit pricey), the staff was engrossed in chatting with each other, but the deafening, pounding violent Mideastern rap music made me want to bolt. I asked the bartender if he could lower it, reluctantly he did commenting that it's part of the ambiance (for what? a Jihad?) it went from deafening to lip reading, this didn't help because the wait staff didn't speak English. This was not Greek music, and like too much saffron, it overpowered the food; I won't be going back, Greek Corner is much more my liking, no pretense.

Yelp
I tried Saloniki for the first time this year and thought it was a nice, different spot in Harvard Square. The herc pita had a tasty sauce and was really good (albeit quite messy--lots of juice made its way out of the wax paper wrapper). I appreciated the fresh vegetables and fries tucked inside. Unfortunately, I found it a bit too salty but since it wasn't very large, it wasn't a big issue. The skewers were flavorful and the pita on the side was really tasty. Unlike other reviewers, I found that the fries were more on the plush rather than crispy side, but they were well flavored. (As a side note, I think that the fries that accompanied the skewers were more flavorful and generally better than the ones in my pita, perhaps because the juiciness of the wrap eliminated some of the flavor.) Saloniki's food is fresh and tastes good, but it is on the salty side and probably is not too healthy. The portions are also pretty small, so I wouldn't recommend coming here if you are super hungry. Overall, the food is solid, but potentially not worth the price.

Yelp
Lots of great options at an affordable price. It's super cute on the inside, and they have tables outside. We got the mixed grill and the lamb meatball plate - both are delicious. The mixed grill comes with chicken, lamb meatballs, halloumi, fries, salad, and accompaniments. Can feed two. They have contactless ordering for those who don't want to order at the counter. Even if you eat in person, they bring all their food in takeaway boxes.
