The Salotto certainly turned out as a pleasant surprise in a very inadequate Terminal A at LaGuardia The service was professional and quick and the pizza was really good (fresh and tasty!) They have charge points for your devices if it's dine-in and plenty of beer options and cocktails to choose from. A good experience!

I had a better experience recently here than prior years, food is really good but past years service wasn’t nice. I think they have improved their service with new and better employees. Very happy with my last visit. I got a Caprese Toast with bacon, and it was expensive, but all food in the airport is usually more expensive, and it was delicious

The pizza tasted absolutely awful. Cheese tasted off as well. I’ve had frozen pizzas that taste better. Not worth it. How are you going to be in a prime location (LGA, terminal 1) and serve such terrible tasting pizza? Especially at a premium. Save your money.

What do you want from Laguardia? Honestly, this place is practically a gold mine. Service is decent, staff was nice, and the pizza is truly good. I had a plain pie for $15. It's truly the best you could hope for at this pit of an airport at the Spirit gate.

Pizza 🍕 was very tasting! Didn’t take long too get prepared. Had a beautiful waitress that was very nice and informative. The margarita pizza, simply amazing 🤩

I don't know why it have so many bad reviews but I had a good experience here! The pizza was really good. The price at the end worth it for the quality and size. The service was fast and the place is really good to sit and spend time in the airport, you also have tables with charges.

i was surprised about pizza and i can say one of 3 top pizza place in NYC. Service is a bit ? but we are all about to eat good food. too rushy and not clean. anyway, good pizza is good pizza… always!

food is honestly good for airport food and given its 1 of 2 food options in Terminal A, pizza looks good too. cashier is nice about giving water cups and ice and walked over to hand my water. I got the italian turkey hoagie. Sandwiches are $14-$17

Honestly I could not believe this was airport pizza!! One of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. They are made to order in about 15 mins while you wait for your flight. The crust was amazing, light and crispy and the sauce and cheese were really good. It's served in a to go box or you can sit there to eat. I took mine, ate half and carried the rest honestly on the flight. Too good to throw out!!

My salad was good for airport food, expensive which is typical for the airport. Interesting to use their QR code ordering system, food came quickly and the server was polite. Ambiance is not much...terminal a right next to gate seating.

Got a Bagel with sausage and egg. Food is very good. There were two egg patties with sausage in the middle. We got food for take out which comes in a container so you can bring food on board the plane. Pay first then get receipt with number and staff will call number once order is ready. There is a place to sit and eat. Nice bar area. Someone ordered a pizza and it smelled so good. Will try that the next time.

Ambiance- this is the only food in the terminal besides Dunkin. Budget airlines get budget options I guess There's no real signage of directions on what to do. If you want to sit down, just sit and order from the table. Which is annoying because you'll probably stand in line for nothing before you learn this. Sprite was fizzy water- no flavor My pizza was edible, it's wasn't the best but not the worst. I asked for butter on the pizza and received packets. I was a little upset about that. I may return to try a sandwich but definitely not a pizza

I ordered the croissant with bacon, eggs and cheese. The croissant was barely recognizable. Looks like a shredded bread. The bacon was supposed to be crispy yet it was barely cooked. Cheese was all gooey. For a $16 I was expecting more but I guess this is what you call airport robbery. I was starving I guess it's better than nothing or maybe 'nothing' was better.

This is one of the worst and most chaotic airport restaurants I've ever experienced. The menu is promising but the employees behavior is lawless and the quality of food is so bad I barely touched it. I ordered the cheese board, which was a platter of crusty old cheese and sweaty meat that I didn't feel safe eating. It came with pizza bread, which was raw in the middle. And the speciality mustard was literally mayonnaise. Disgusting. I'm also suspicious that my Diet Coke was just watery real Coke. This is reckless and could be dangerous for people living with diabetes. There were so many employees everywhere it felt like I was still in the TSA line. And the employees were arguing/bickering and eating pizza from the oven right in front us. Overall 0/5 stars. What did I expect? It's the only restaurant in Terminal A, which is the terminal for Spirit and Frontier flights. Definitely pack snacks if this terminal is your only option.

If you are taking Spirit or Frontier from LGA, stop by somewhere outside of the airport and get food. All you have here are Dunkin' and this place.. pizza is worst. edit: spellcheck

Salotto at LaGuardia is your typical airport pizza spot, but in NY--you know the pizza's gonna have some legit flavor even if it's not your top-tier street slice. The vibe is what you'd expect from an airport eatery: decent, crowded but in waves, and you can actually find a seat to dig into your pie without balancing everything on your knees. Is it pricey? Sure, it's airport territory, so expect to shell out a bit more for what counts as a luxury when your stomach's growling during a layover. The pizza itself? Decent crust, good sauce-to-cheese ratio--it hits the spot when you're stuck waiting for your flight and need to kill some hunger pains. Bottom line: Salotto's not going to blow your mind, but it'll do the trick when you're stranded at the gate and craving a slice of the city. Worth a stop if you need a quick bite, but keep your gourmet expectations in check.

We had some pizza an beer as we waited out a flight delay. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pizza - it seems they make it fresh in the miniature ovens they have. Service was attentive. The only thing I didn't like was them being rude to the customers that had ordered in "to go" that needed somewhere to sit...it's not clear, and you are obviously buying from the same place, so what is the big deal?

Well...it's the best eatery in this terminal at least. Yes, it is overpriced 100%. Ordered the prosciutto sandwich, side salad and a glass of pineapple juice for ~$25. Got a roast beef sandwich without any vegetables on it like the menu mentioned. Didn't take a picture because it looked sad. Side salad was good but I don't know how you mess that up. Next time I am here I will get one of their pizzas, or opt for the Dunkin.

We ordered two pizzas and two ginger ales for $40. The CC bill was $52. The server added the tip without our approval. We will be disputing the charge

Bacon egg and cheese on a croissant was made in a microwave. Identical quality to the ones from Dunkin' next door, except here they cost $17. At least they are open early. Also, there is no hand sanitizer or wet napkins anywhere at this gate, which is frustrating seeing as we are still in a pandemic and you are expected to order off of dirty airport iPads. Food tasted fine.

Pizza has the artisan doughy crust vibe. Sandwiches are not noteworthy enough to review or comment. It's an airport vendor that's doing it's job. Fast and edible. Real issue is the false advertising concept of "farm" to... Funny and gimmicky slogan with buzz words to appeal to the masses. I mean you have processed meats available for your sandwich and pizza. I guess we are at the airport, so why not?! Who really cares. It's good enough to squash your immediate hunger while waiting for your flight.

Not too many food choices in this small terminal in La Guardia (Jet Blue/Spirit). With airport food I never have high expectations and expect to pay premium prices. So when I take that into account, Salotto was not bad. Order from the terminal and severs will bring your food. Husband ordered a pizza and I ordered a "Mediterranean Cobb". I have to admit the food was a little better than I expected. Best of all, the food arrived fast. Would not hesitate to eat here again.

One star because PRINCIPLE. I ordered a Mediterranean Cobb salad. First of all I don't care what part of the world, a Cobb salad should have egg. Well no egg in this salad. Instead the salad promises olives, goat cheese, prosciutto, heirloom tomatoes, and cucumbers (over arugula). I open my salad and see cherry tomatoes instead. You bet you I spoke up after paying $17 for a below mediocre salad. I spoke to a manager who said okay do you want us to take it back? No. How about an apology and a courtesy ANYTHING, and say we're out at this time. Well guess what I got none of that - instead I was told by another employee that they've been putting cherry tomatoes in that salad for the past six months. This business should be truthful to their customers. Change the menu, or adjust the price to reflect your cherry tomatoes.

Located in Terminal A at LaGuardia Airport. When we got there we were starving and was afraid there would not be anything to eat since the terminal is so small. To our surprise this place was open for business and was perfect. The tables are socially distanced so you feel very comfortable and safe. To order the hay a tablet where one could order and pay from (contactless). Once we ordered our drinks and appetizers they arrived rather quickly and it was delicious. We were so glad they were there.

Coffee was HOT, and the egg and prosciutto sandwich was awesome. The staff. Makes sure to take care of each customer unlike most airport services.

I was so excited to see a Dunkin Donuts in terminal A until I realized it was an "express", aka no breakfast sandwiches!! So I was able to get my coffee there and then walk up to Salotto for a bagel. Giving 4 stars because this place is very necessary for hungry travelers in terminal A who want something besides donuts. I got a toasted whole wheat bagel with lox cream cheese which was good. I will say make sure to tell them you don't want your bagel overly toasted because everyone else's bagels I saw were literally black and burnt. Also ask them to slice in half for easier consumption lol - my cream cheese was bursting out in every direction (which I'm not complaining about though as I hate when restaurants skimp on the cream cheese). They have a whole variety of bagels, cream cheese flavors, breakfast sandwiches and even breakfast pizzas (which looked just like normal pizzas- odd but to each their own). Also, if you ask for your food "to go", that means you can't sit at the tables, which is annoying but something to keep in mind.

the food was amazing but one of the staff members was extremely rude. I was planning on tipping in cash and not online. the lady who delivered my coffee asked if she could see my phone when I asked for a glass of water. after taking my phone for two minutes, she saw I didn't tip and gave me a lecture about how she doesn't work for free and wouldn't bring me a water. I PLACED THE ORDER THROUGH A QR CODE ALL SHE DID WAS BRING ME A COFFEE, I also paid $20 for a sandwich and coffee which you'd think is enough. better yet, she didn't even bring over our food or clear our table, a kind male server did. when I called her over to explain that I was tipping in cash and how her reaction was incredibly unprofessional and rude, she brought our waters. I did plan on tipping, but after her horrible reaction i just left 10%. I would recommend this establishment if you are just getting it to go, but don't sit down because they'll expect a crazy tip apparently.

It may be the only choice here. But this place still rules. This terminal does kinda suck, outside of the fun art deco entrance. We also know that you're probably flying Spirit or Frontier, so maybe you get what you pay for. All that said- I promise you, the food at this place is in a league above those airlines. Enjoy!(Because what other choice do you have?)

i had two long islands, which were strong enough to get me drunk for the flight but not so strong that i couldn't drink it. the pizza was decent and pretty much equivalent to mall pizza but then again i was drunk so it could've been awful and i still would've scarfed it down. the service was conscientious (refills and pre-bussing was quick) but based on what i saw, the service would've been much friendlier if i were an attractive young adult woman traveling alone. the ambiance was basically like another gate waiting area if it served food, i.e. the seats were bolted to the floor and you ordered through an ipad, but as it was the only restaurant in that terminal, it could definitely be a lot worse.

Stopped here to get breakfast before my flight. With bare bulb lighting and potted plants hanging on the walls, Salotto is definitely nicer than options at other LGA terminals. Like other airport restaurants, You order and pay from the iPad at your seat, but you still get served at the table (just leave a tip, for Gods sake). The iPad also offers options to play games and keep track of your flight. Their breakfast options were pretty standard airport breakfast fare, with the exception of their breakfast pizzas. Although pricey (like all airports), the bacon, egg and cheese on a roll was a step above other options at the terminal. The roll was toasty, without being crunchy, and there was no skimping on the cheese or bacon. Another nice touch is I ordered tea and it was loose tea, not a tea bag.

found hair buried deep in the turkey meat :( couldn't return it as we were already onboard our flight, I was so disappointed and hungry, couldn't eat any and had throw it all out, $17 down the drain. Service wasn't quick either, we had to wait a while for this sandwich that's not even edible.

We had great service. The guy was super attentive helping out with the screen and bringing refills of soda. You order your food and drinks on the pad and it's brought out quickly. My sandwich was decent. Bread was crispy. But the amount of chicken was like 2 slices as opposed to the picture shown on the iPad which had more. But I am in an airport and don't have much choice so it sufficed. My boyfriend got the pepperoni pizza which was mediocre. I had a Moscow mule which was probably one least favorites of all time. Server was quick in cleaning off areas once they were vacated. Next time I will remember to bring my own sandwich.

Went to the one in terminal A at LaGuardia because it was the only restaurant. They kicked us out of a seating area because we didn't add a tip even though we were not served yet. we ordered from an iPad. got our food but no pop, and were told after we already paid that the pop we ordered they did not have.

Above average simple appetizers and pizzas. Limited menu in this temporary terminal while LGA is being rebuilt. Absent servers, menus only upon request as they want you to use the impossible iPad devices to order and automat 18% tips added on (unless you adjust!) are the pitfalls.

Went here to grab a sandwich before boarding a plane in the terminal. This place sure looks nice, but they serve up pretty average food--and it's pretty overpriced. I ordered a sandwich and it was literally just turkey meat in white bread with some cheese--definitely nothing to write home about and a bit of a disappointment as I didn't have high expectations, but was expecting more than that.

I was heading down to a place I own in North Myrtle Beach and for some reason the only airline in NYC(I don't count Newark which is a nightmare unto itself) that flies direct is Spirit in LGA. Now, I'm fine with LGA and was even fine withot before the renovations, but they have moved Spirit to the Marine terminal which, although is historic, should not be a terminal in 2022. The only good thing is that it takes 12 seconds to get through security, other than that it's a nightmare. It's one giant, circular room with only one bar and one restaurant. It's like flying out of Mayberry complete with aunt May and Andy Griffith. No Centurion Club, no Delta Club no Admiral Club, I felt like a plebeian. On the day my flight was scheduled it was about 85 degrees outside and 95 inside. That's right, the AC was broken and since it's one giant circular room there was no place to run and the cavalry was not coming. I asked the bartender and he said he called it in 4 hours earlier. You would figure with all the difficult passengers especially from airlines like Spirit they would be concerned and try to fix it but they let the dice roll. It was brutal. I saddled up to the bar and tried to pull out a stool, but the stools are cemented in place so no one can move them or steal them. My question was where would they go? it's one giant room. Anyway, I started lightly by ordering. Double JW Black on the rocks(I'd ramp it up if the temperature got too high!) and struck up a conversation with a woman who seemed like she was real happy to not have her husband around and was putting them down like she was in a speakeasy during prohibition. Another guy popped up on my right to tell me how much he loved living in Florida while complaining about the heat in NY. We talked about Rolex watches. The bartender was very attentive(I mean there was only 3 of us) and kept filling up the glasses and giving us water. After my 4th double I figured I better eat something or they weren't going to let me on the plane. I ordered a margharita pizza which I ate about half of and reminded me of my fraternity days. The bar itself was kinda small and cramped and the other food they were selling looked right out of a 7- Eleven or gas station. I think I picked out the winner with the doughy, tasteless pizza. Soon my chariot arrived and I had two more scotches in the "Big Front Seats" on my way down to my golf villa. I gave this place a 2 because the bartender was nice and the drinks were flowing. The AC being out might have cost it at least 1/2 a star.

Whoever made my magherita pizza had one too many margaritas. I've had better pizza from the freezer section of the grocery store. They are definitely taking advantage of being the only made to order restaurant in the terminal. The staff was nice enough, (apologized for the wait even though I hadn't been waiting that long). I'd recommend eating heartily before entering terminal a or bring extra snacks.

FYI: prices have doubled and these personal pies are ~$20, so it's not as good of a value anymore

While my sandwich was okay my "Italian Chips" were an absolute rip off. $14 for a bag of chips dumped in a bowl, sprinkled with grated Parmesan, and what appears to be some variety of cream dressing (did not appear to be cheese as in the description, I assure you).

I'm sort of perplexed by the reviews below. Firstly, this place isn't cash only. I ordered on an iPad and wasn't even given the option to pay cash...so not sure what that review was about... I'm sitting here right now pinching myself because I can't believe what a good pizza I'm eating at, of all places, LaGuardia Airport. I got the Margherita pie. The crust has the perfect amount of char, but still maintains a nice toothiness. For the sauce, they use San Marzano tomatoes, and it shows. It's simple with just the right slight bit of sweet. Basil's fresh, mozz is just fine and I love that it's topped with a sprinkling of pecorino romano. This is on par with pies I've had on Staten Island (and whether you want to admit it or not--that boro has the best pizza.) For anyone familiar, the pie reminds me of Campagnia on SI. Good stuff!

Bartender was EXTREMELY disrespectful. My friend & I had ordered food & a drink each from the iPads and that part was handled normal and fine. We wanted one more round of beers so I walked up to the bar to order them & instead of kindly explaining to me that they can only process orders via the iPads he got so disrespectful & rude. He said "you order on iPad only" so I said ok I'll go back to my table to do that then he slammed his crack screened iPhone on the bar & said "no order here now" and I said, well my stuff is over at the table so I'll order from the iPad like you said then he goes "I don't know why PEOPLE don't listen" so I said "sir there's no reason to be so rude" and he said "I'm not rude I'm Bulgarian" so I just walked away. There was a kind waiter who saw the whole ordeal and gave me a complimentary beer to ease the situation he was very nice. But that bartender should be fired what an asshole.

I fully expect to be charged the "past the security terminal surcharge" every time I buy anything at an airport so I have no complaints about overcharging in general (though $5 dollar bottles of water should absolutely be a federal case, get on it Elizabeth Warren) And while I relent to paying $15 dollars for an egg and cheese sandwich what I don't expect is for that sandwich to be a microwaved plastic cheese mess. I will admit the smoked salmon toast was tasty and has good quality salmon but the extremely hot coffee loses them another point. As there is no other option with the exception of a Dunkin Donuts that does not offer sandwiches, your pretty much at their mercy. Coffee wasn't bad once it cooled down. My advice add bacon to that egg and cheese to mask the poor quality egg and cheese though you may need to apply for a second mortgage to pay for it (about a $3 surcharge). I think 3 stars is about as fair a rating as I can give though a whole lot more than they deserve, staff was nice enough especially considering they were dealing with annoyed customers who are fully aware they are being fleeced and have just finished being frisked and prodded by security. I don't expect to not be overcharged at an airport all I ask is that you give me corner store bodega quality egg sandwiches at least, seriously guys a breakfast pizza? Need I say more....

Food is ok but overpriced and the workers are extremely unprofessional. I saw how rudely they served a lady and then the girl who served her went back and was talking about her with another coworker. When I was at the register paying for my things two employees were talking to each other about their pay and their thoughts on their job. I'm young, I get the colloquial conversations but there's a place and time for them. On the plus side, the drinks come with free refills and their seating area is nicely set up.

What air travelers are carrying cash?! This joint is cash only! That type of service sucks! No thanks! Oh by the way, it's the only place to eat in the Jet Blue terminal so bring your cash!

My kids and I grabbed breakfast here before an early flight. We had a bacon,egg,cheese sandwich, a sausage,egg,cheese sandwich, a yogurt parfait with granola and fruit, and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. The kids rated the sandwiches "pretty good, but not as good as the Starbucks sandwiches" and "good". The yogurt was rated "very good". My bagel was decent. Seems like a reasonable breakfast choice given the location.

Excellent restaurant because you can order and pay without waiting for a server to wander by. Get your food faster and get to your flight faster. The good is good as well.

Terrible service and overpriced food. Ordering from iPads so no actual service (though that doesn't stop the default payment method coercing a 20% tip from you) This is just a deterioration of any semblance of care from airlines about actual passenger experience.

Don't waste your money. You order and pay with a tip in advance. After you get your food , your server will have nothing to do with you. The meatball appetizer was horrible. The meatballs were over cooked and couldn't have even been cut into they were so rock hard. Paid $3.75 for an iced tea which couldn't even get a refill. Had to pay another $3.75 to get more. JetBlue, this is what your customers are experiencing. Please do something about getting another vendor in your terminal so your customers don't have to be ripped off by this place!!

Terrible service. Terrible food - dry, stale bread. Workers are more interested in chatting with each other than assisting guests. Incompetence galore. Save your money! This is a disgrace for JetBlue!

Last week I was there and the server was great, but today it was the supervisor or manager (not 100%), who was taking the orders, the WORST customer service EVER! After having to wait for ever for him to get "ready" to take my order, espresso machine wasn't working so I needed a refund and after waiting for around 8 mins, (while he was on his phone), he finally tells me he already voided the coffee receipt. I would never recommend this place.

I ordered a mediterranean and a french 75..charged $47..N E V E R ever again am I going there..never will be contacting them about an adjustment

Not sure what people are really expecting from an airport terminal establishment. I fly frequently from terminal a and when I have time often grab a sandwich from here for breakfast. You can order at an iPad or at the counter if your are doing to-go. This morning I ordered at the counter. I've always paid by card here also. Food isn't anything to write home about but I find the staff friendly and it does the job when I'm traveling at 6 or 7am for work!

Ok prepackaged food. The order tablets (similar to airports like Newark) are OBNOXIOUS. They're pushy and show you ads when you're trying to give them money just to order food!!

As far as airport customer service goes it's usually pretty bleak. However, I was stuck sitting for a few hours at this spot and witnessed some of the absolute best customer service I've ever witnessed! And I have worked in the hospitality field for 13 years. The staff was exceptionally warm, kind and considerate. I find this to be very impressive considering airport staff is usually stuck dealing with stressed out, moody travelers. A huge thanks to the team here at Salutto!
