Salt & Pearl has a charming, comfortable vibe, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive throughout the evening. My date raved about the salmon, which was clearly a hit. As someone who eats vegan, though, the experience fell short. The menu offers very limited plant-based choices, and the cauliflower steak—the only real option—was a letdown. It was dense, difficult to cut, and the accompanying sauce had an odd, overly tangy flavor that didn’t complement the dish at all. With just one vegan entrée available, you’d hope it would at least be enjoyable, but it wasn’t. It’s disappointing to see such a great restaurant overlook vegan diners. Until they add a truly well-executed vegan dish, I don’t see myself returning.

You hear it over and over.. Salt & Pearl is the preferred hot spot to meet friends for a great meal in the Riv. The service, food, and atmosphere come together perfectly.. a little more on the nice side but still very approachable from the beach. Many of the menu items are what you see over and over in the village but they do a unique preparation and the quality is a cut above. Also their raw bar and oysters are always fresh and amazing. The main courses are mainly seafood.. the usual suspects are there from Mahi to Ahi, and of course salmon, fish and chips, not to mention one of the few legit lobster rolls you will find locally.. even the little things like fries and sides are the best. The mushroom dish is a great hearty option if you don't do meat. The service and atmosphere here had a great energy where you just want to come in and converse with friends and chill out for a drink or two over a great meal. When a place is always full of regulars and the favorite of so many locals who have tons of options you know Salt & Pearl is always a great option in the heart of Riviera Village. The Strawberry & Melon gin seltzer is super refreshing if you need to go back to work late and you can't day drink.. who knew they make their seltzers in house. I don't know of any place that has more local regulars and fans.. and we agree. Great seafood, drinks, service, and atmosphere.. you will enjoy yourself here to be sure. Update: great live music on Thursdays along with another amazing dinner. Finally tried the tomahawk steak and it was all that. The seafood chowder, crying tiger sashimi, and especially the BBQd oysters 3 ways were all amazing. An impressive lineup of starters and raw bar selections. Our server Forrest was excellent. Service, food, atmosphere.. overall a wonderful 5 stat visit to Salt and Pearl

Impressive is an understatement! We went last Sunday while in town from Texas for my husband's 40th. The manager, bartender, wait staff and hostess all made us feel at "home". We had a large group, with kids, and they didn't rush us, service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! Living in Houston, a foodie city, we were so excited we found this place. Steak, hamachi, tuna, oysters, Mac n cheese, my martinis, all excellent. Highly recommend!!!!

Despite the negative publicity, some restaurants offer exceptional dining experiences. I would like to share a positive experience I had with my son on Saturday evening. We made reservations at Salt and Pearl in Redondo Beach, and a table was ready for us. Our server, Max, was also prepared. My son ordered the Seabass, while I opted for the new item on the menu, short rib. The flavor was exceptional. It was a very positive experience for both of us. I have visited the restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The owner even approached us to inquire about our experience and expressed concern that we were enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend trying it out.

My husband and I walked by here and saw their prime rib deal on Mondays - $25 for a 10 oz with horseradish and au jus sauce....what a deal! We were also there during happy hour which was awesome; some of the sides we wanted was on it! We got two prime rib cooked medium rare, brussel sprouts ($7), wasabi slaw ($5), and scalloped potatoes ($12 not on the happy hour menu). The meat was cooked perfectly with not much fat on it. The skin was peppery and flavorful and the meat was juicy. I wish the horseradish had more heat to it but understand not everyone may like it that way. My favorite sides was the potatoes and slaw. The potatoes came to us looking like a slice of cake - thick and super buttery. I know they say there's garlic, jalapenos and cheddar in it but the butter reigned supreme. I didn't taste any wasabi in the slaw, but it felt refreshing after eating the heavy potatoes and meat. I couldn't taste the gochujang in the potatoes, but I could taste the bacon! That was delicious. Service was fast - There was only one other table being waited on when we went. Our waters were filled consistently and finished plates were taken away promptly. The space has an "outdoor" area that was blocked off during the day. Perhaps in summer when its warmer they'll open the whole place up? Parking is up and down the street and all metered.

Went into salt and pearl Sunday and was greeted by the host Skyler who was super kind and sat us at our seats at the bar. We also talked with the bartender Kenneth for a while, he was amazing! He made an amazing skinny margarita for me and I got to eat my favorites from the menu, the warm lobster roll and mushroom side! I dream about them often they’re so good… LOL. Ended the night with a sweet treat, the chocolate mousse cake which was so rich! It was everything I needed and more after a long day of playing volleyball at the beach.

This food was delicious. My husband and I talked about the New England seafood chowder for like two hours. We ate there yesterday and I’m considering going back today. As soon as we walked in, we were politely greeted by the hostess. The place itself is very small but not too crowded. Cute decor and very clean bathrooms. We started with drinks. Out waiter was very nice, food was out fast. We got chowder, calamari, seared sesame bluefin tuna, lobster mac and cheese, and the garlic shrimp. No complains on anything. The slaw and dipping sauce that comes with the calamari were so good. We will be returning and I 100% recommend trying this place

Went here for date night with a group — they were super accommodating and changed our reservation from 4 to 6 right away. The wedge salad was perfectly done, and they’ll even chop it for you if you ask. We ordered the Seabass, which was absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked, with spinach that was perfectly sautéed. The calamari was another standout, and surprisingly the slaw ended up being one of the highlights — fresh, tangy, and unique. The Smashburger was 10/10 …Parmesan fries was just okay — I’d go with regular fries next time. The jidori chicken looked amazing, definitely trying that next. The seasonal drink with spicy corn nuts and a Tajín rim was such a great touch. Such a great addition to South Redondo — we’ll definitely be back. Well done!

So boom -- I was assigned the very serious responsibility of finding a dinner spot for my Nana's birthday. No pressure, right? I had bookmarked this place a while back, so it was finally its time to shine We sat outside (brave, I know), but the heaters were working like they were trying to get into heaven. Amen. Now let's talk about the main event: the food. I ordered the shrimp Caesar salad. Nana got the fish & chips (and she wasn't the biggest fan), My mom had the miso salmon, my aunt went for the short rib pasta, her girlfriend also got the miso salmon -- but upgraded with Brussels sprouts -- and my uncle ordered the seafood roll. We also started with calamari, fries, and drinks because we believe in abundance. Let me tell you: everything on that table did NOT stand a chance. The service- Attentive, accommodating, and patient with our "let's add one more thing" energy. If you're in the area, show them some love. I already have plans to come back for that short rib pasta!! P.S. Meter parking is available.

We came here for an early lunch and enjoyed our service and cocktail drinks. We ordered the Seafood Roll with King Crab, Raw Oysters, Peruvian scallops, Fish&Chips, Clam with Chirizo, Beet Salad, Wasabi Slaw and Caesar Salad. We really enjoyed the Roll, Oysters, Fish&Chips and all the salads. Would recommend! Peruvian scallops are one of my favorite things and I was underwhelmed with the flavor of their preparation. Another miss was the clams. Flavors were spot on but the clams themselves had a mushy consistency. I mentioned it to the bartender and he didn't seem to want to address it. Overall a nice place but I'd skip the last two dishes mentioned above.

Salt & Pearl is very, very good. I am writing this as an updated review. My earlier review can be found below. As you will see, I was torn about writing it and decided to go back to Salt & Pearl for dinner to give it another try. In retrospect, I probably jumped the gun on my first review. Food: I ordered oysters, Peruvian scallops, and wild Mexican white shrimp from the Crudo & Raw Bar menu as an appetizer, and the Maine seafood roll as my entree. The oysters were smaller East Coast oysters, and were fresh with a little bit of salinity and minerality that you get with East Coast oysters. The Peruvian scallops were also fresh and tasty. The menu says they are prepared in a habanero confit with toasted coconut, mango, and micro cilantro. I did not notice any heat from the habanero confit, but I found the shredded coconut to be a great complement to the scallops (providing some nice textural difference) and the mango added a touch of sweetness and acidity. (Note - The scallops are small, but again, very tasty.) My scallops did not come with an micro cilantro. The shrimp were good, but just a touched overcooked (shaped more like an O than a C and somewhat firm). However, I did like the brushed on olive oil with herbs, and the cocktail sauce was flavorful. Overall, the oysters, scallops, and shrimp were very satisfying. The star of the meal was the Maine seafood roll. You can choose to have either lobster or king crab. I chose lobster. It came with a generous portion of lobster, and the bread was nice and soft. The lobster was served in a nice, creamy mayonnaise sauce ... delicious. Maine lobster rolls are served cold and typically prepared with mayonnaise and celery (in contrast to the Connecticut lobster roll which is served warm and covered in butter ... which Salt & Pearl also offers). I didn't really notice the celery, and the mayonnaise sauce is generous. So if you like your Maine lobster roll to be creamy, then Salt & Pearl is for you. Service: I sat at the bar, and the bartender was very friendly and attentive. Bottom Line: I previously gave Salt & Pearl three stars. I am revising that to five stars. The oysters were good. The shrimp was okay. But the scallops and Maine seafood roll were great. *** PRIOR REVIEW *** I was torn about whether I should write this review. I visited Salt & Pearl over a year ago and ordered scallops and the fish and chips, which I vaguely recall as being very good. But I recently visited again for their brunch and was somewhat underwhelmed. So this review is just for my brunch experience. I will be visiting again soon for dinner and will update this accordingly. Food: I ordered their the eggs and smoked fish toast from the brunch menu. It was a simple dish of house-smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, and fried arugula on two pieces of buttered toast. The salmon had a hint of miso flavor and was plated as small chunks on the toast. I was hoping for something like gravlax (salt cured salmon with dill), but that was my misunderstanding and not theirs. The eggs were prepared American style (firmer compared to the custardy French style). The fried arugula was a nice touch, but served more like a garnish than a main component of the dish. Overall, the dish tasted fine, not great but also not bad. It was a little difficult to eat because both the salmon and eggs were in smaller pieces which fell off the toast. Service: My server was friendly and attentive. Bottom Like: I thought the eggs and smoked salmon toast was okay. Again, I am torn to write a review based on a single dish and will update when I visited again.

Fabulous experience! I never venture to this part of Redondo (almost Torrance) but zero regrets. We tried both the crab roll (Connecticut style) and the lobster roll (Connecticut style and added the caviar and crème fraiche). Personally, the crab was my favorite but the rest of the table preferred the lobster, so who's to say ‍ except that both were delicious! We also tried the tiger hamachi - solid flavors! The bread and garlic butter were filling and the oysters were fresh! The horseradish did the trick, delivering what felt like a shot of Novocain to the nose. Crème brûlée cheesecake also a showstopper. The service was top notch, super helpful and polite. The ambience is cute, perfect date spot or just catching up with old friends. We'll definitely go back!

One of my favorites in the South Bay. Relatively new. It's a smaller space with a nice ambience. My bf and I love the scallops and oysters here. Ribeye was also really good. We tried the crab claw and it was good but for $7 each we didn't really think they were worth it as they are tiny. One time we got the clam chowder and it was amazing and the last time we went it was watery and tasted like tap water so idk if they changed the recipe. Cocktails are pretty good as well. Bartender will adjust your drink if needed. Cute date night spot.

Lovely place for a quiet and yet festive dinner. I went with my cousin after seeing a light show at the South Coast Botanical Garden. We didn't plan it so it was a pleasant surprise. The food was beautifully presented and was scrumptious. My only complaint is that one server was stacking dishes on the bar counter kind of loudly. It went on for a bit so it was distracting. Overall though, I would definitely come back!

Indoor and outdoor seating in this beach town made for such a relaxing evening. This place is consistently good every time we come! We started with raw oysters -- super fresh and buttery, absolutely delicious. The garlic parm Shrimp Focaccia was so flavorful and savory, and the Prime Rib (on a Monday!) was only $26.99 -- what a deal! Service was amazing from start to finish -- the hostess, waiter, and busser were all on point and friendly. Definitely one of our favorite go-to spots by the beach!

Stopped by for a quick happy hour and was greeted with excellent service and amazing ambiance. I started with a lovely house margarita & seared albacore for appetizer. The albacore was well cooked but could lacked flavor. I had the seafood chowder which absolutely hit the spot and fulfilled my seafood craving. Would definitely come back with friends or family.

I had a very welcoming and nice experience as an 11:30am weekday Monday opening patron coming for the Monday Prime Rib served all day. Because it's Prime Rib and does take a long time to slow roast and cook, when I arrived, it was already ready to be served. They prepare it before opening. You know you're not getting "yesterday's leftovers" so to speak because they only offer Prime Rib on Monday. On Tuesday they do offer a french dip prime rib sandwich which they admit are limited to the remnants of Monday's Prime Rib and/or prepares on Monday in anticipation for Tuesday. It sounds like it's worth trying out on Tuesdays. The Monday Prime Rib is 10oz in size/weight and has minimal fat and in fact it's all edible, no tendons or bones either. It comes with nothing, no sides, so after tax and tip you're around $30 I'd recommend this and have it medium rare. It's herb crusted and tender. Parking is easy and there's free with unlimited no time limits (other than watch out for Street Cleaning days) if you're willing to walk. The service as friendly and fast. Because I ordered the Prime Rib and all they needed to do was carve a slice, my meal was served fresh and fast and it only took 30 minutes to dine.

DIVINE! We received a gift card over the holidays for this place. Passed by it so many times going to the other restaurants and am sad I've been missing out in this gem! We had 7:15 reservation, it was initially out in their heated patio but since it was raining I called to be placed inside. They accommodated us with no issues. Service was great! We had multiple staff come up and offer suggestions. The table next to us suggested the Garlic Shrimp (they got another one to go!).. SOO GOOD! I could've just ate that. It was heavenly and a MUST TRY. Miso Salmon was the best salmon dish I've had. The pairing of everything was delicious. The lobster Mac and cheese had plenty of lobster. The albacore was also tasty but would not re order. The vibe was very chill and romantic. Definitely a great date night or small group celebration spot.

Decided to check this place out a few days ago and food was delicious. Was really craving oysters on this specific day and decided to yelp a restaurant around me and this popped up. We ordered a few items and drinks and everything was delicious. Will definitely be coming back

In Riviera Village this place is small but does a great job with their food. Service was good and there is an outside heated patio. Loved the portobello fries and the calamari. Had the short rib pasta which was huge and fall off the bone tender. The New York was a surprise. Perfectly cooked and sliced with Cajun butter. Will definitely come back to try more things.

salt & pearl has been on my list for awhile! one of my girlfriends and i decided to do HH here to celebrate my birthday. the ambiance here is my type of vibe. loved all the decor, small and quaint restaurant but filled with wholesomeness. very friendly staff. the attention and service was not a miss. we ordered: smash burger with fries 1/2 Ib wild mexican white shrimp cocktail hamachi collar brussel sprouts smoked prime rib slider *portobello fries - not on the HH menu everything was so tasty! my faves would be the portobello fries, brussel spouts and the smash burger. i wouldnt order the shrimp cocktail, the shrimps tasted like they have been sitting for awhile.. parking: located in the riviera , metered street parking or metered parking lot over by tjs.

I 10/10 recommend Salt & Pearl. In my opinion it's the best spot in Hollywood Riveria. The atmosphere is cozy cool. The service is great. The best thing is the food, which is AMAZING! I recommend the beet salad (so good!), the hamachi crudo, and the wagyu filet minion. I think they make a better steak than most steakhouses.

There are many eateries on S Catalina Avenue in Redondo Beach. This one is slightly higher end and pricier than many other others, but they offer a great quality food and excellent service. We came for a pre-concert dinner and had time limitations, but they accommodated us extremely well. The grilled salmon was one of the best I have tasted; and it looked as nice as it tasted. I also ordered their seafood roll, and I chose the king crab, which was decent, but it was kind of a small roll. The restaurants very small and half of the seatings are out on the street. But it does have that beach town relaxed that classy atmosphere. I think it would be a very nice place for drinks as well.

Came here for an early dinner and a few drinks. The location is great, near the beach! The food was very well presented and flavorful! It's a little pricy, but what do you expect in this area? The staff was super nice too! We will definitely be coming back soon!

Prime rib Monday Wait?! Prime rib at a seafood restaurant? Intrigued I went and it was fantastic! Many places have really fatty cuts but this was perfect. We got the brussel sprouts as accompaniment and - because we were there for "happy hour" of course had to try some of the specials The staff were all awesome , the ambiance is very cool. Great for a date night.

Had lunch with my husband over here and got the beet salad and the macadamia-encrusted sea bass with the spinach, and a Heineken zero. The food is fresh and has good flavors. I would definitely order the same thing again or try the salmon since the bass was a whopping 50 dollars lol. My husband got the albacore dish with an Arnold Palmer. I had a bite and it had a kick to it, but I liked my sea bass much better. The Arnold Palmers use Minute Maid lemonade, which I don't understand since Service: the service was pretty decent. Great service. Super cute place. But the food just wasn't very good. The calamari was overly battered and not nearly fresh or hot enough, the marinara is so spicy it makes you unable to taste the calamari (which today was a good thing), and the wedge salad was good lettuce but drenched in a blue cheese that had something off about it. My friend's fish and chips looked way over battered and oddly dark, too. Service was great - can't say that enough. But I don't think I'd return.

We celebrated my bf's birthday at Salt & Pearl last night and really enjoyed our meal. My favorite dish was the miso salmon. The new york strip also looked delicious so I'd love to try that next time. Other dishes that we tried and enjoyed included the edamame hummus, caesar salad, wedge salad, and cheesecake brûlée. We also tried the wasabi slaw, mushrooms, and chocolate mousse cake but those weren't my favorites. I loved the indoor/outdoor feel of the restaurant and how quant it was. If you're in the area, I would definitely check this place out!

Great and service! Miranda was fantastic, and recommended their sea bass (amazing), rib eye sliders, and the BEST Caesar salad! Great cocktails and Juggernaut Chardonnay. Highly recommended

There was a street fair going on when my girl and I found ourselves hungry and searching for a place to eat. We tried to give our business to two other restaurants in the area, but both said that their kitchens were closed between lunch and dinner. I was dumbfounded by this. This street fair was huge, and well attended. What business who is worth their salt, would close their kitchen and turn away business. Luckily for us Salt and Pearl seized this opportunity and snagged quite a few of us who had been turned away from other establishments, and I might add, to our benefit. We were comfortably seated in the street patio ( which came to being during the Covid pivot ) and promptly addressed by our polite server. We both ordered the smash burger, and before too long, they were placed before us. The burgers were a feast for the eyes as well as for the stomach. Very, very tasty. As I usually do, I ate my burger over the fries so the drippings fell onto the crispy potatoes. There's no better way. Yes, it's a bit on the steep side when you get the check, but not astronomical. Maybe just low orbit. You'll enjoy yourself. Quick Tip: The servers are friendly, happy, and well trained. Support their efforts. Give them the opportunity to not claim your tip on their income tax......as of this writing the BBB hasn't been signed by the president yet.

Top notch. Happened upon this little gem after the nail salon! The stars aligned as it was both Monday (their Prime Rib special day) & Happy hour!!! How could we say no! We each had the prime rib! $25 for a LARGE 10 oz - perfectly seasoned and cooked. We opted for sides from the HH menu and they did not disappoint! Wasabi Slaw AMAZING and shoe string French fries!

Great food. The items we ordered were phenomenal!!!! Service is first class. Atmosphere is very trendy beach vibe. We will definitely be coming back again!!! Our server, Anthony, was very attentive.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner at Salt & Pearl last night. We were seated outside on what was a beautiful breezy evening. The drinks we enjoyed were top notch (photos attached). My wife also tried a season cocktail that was some form of Margarita that she enjoyed. The oysters were very fresh as were the accoutrements. I did not notice any anchovies in our Caesar salad which was then only disappointment of the meal. I am from New England so I rarely have Maine lobster on the west coast, but these lobster rolls are very solid and the Parmesan fries are worth the upgrade. A tiny bit more butter would have been better but it wasn't a big enough deal for me to ask for it! Our server also good a fine job. She was very pleasant and efficient. The whole team worked well together from what I could see. We will definitely return!

Great dinner with friends last night, but I forgot to take photos! Anyways, the service and food were all good. My favorites were the bbq oysters, the wasabi slaw, and the cheesecake. We were all happy with our entrees too. I had a lobster roll that was very good, my wife loved her chicken. I'd totally come back.

Updated Review: After posting my original review, Mickey personally reached out to me. He took full responsibility for the confusion regarding the posted hours and explained that there had been an error. He also reviewed the security footage and clarified that the individuals who entered before us were guests who knew other diners, but not the restaurant staff. Mickey then kindly invited my husband and me to return, and we accepted. When we let him know we were in town and available at 7:30 PM, he immediately made a reservation for us--even before replying to my message. From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was exceptional--from the ambiance to the service, drinks and the food. A special thank you to Justin, Kenneth, and Tyler for making our evening so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Delicious food!! Had the miso salmon. Every bite so good. Just great flavor cooked perfect. Another at the table beat salad, it was great. And the another the fish and chips. The fries. Mhmm wonderful. Great service as well. Didn't catch the name but a taller guy was very attentive. Just overall very nice ambience to have a date night or a social gathering with friends. I will definitely go back and take others. Loved all the variety of seafood dishes. Priced very fair for what was given and the atmosphere of the place.

Was in the Redondo Beach area and wanted a great seafood meal. Saw Salt & Pearl had great ratings and was close so gave it a try. Super happy I did! Great service, nice ambiance, fantastic drinks / bartender, and the food was outstanding. The Chowder was awesome, the hamachi crudo was great, as was the salmon and ahi tuna. The drinks were cool - a Smokey "Churchill" Manhattan, and espresso martinis. Some photos below. Highly Recommend.

Great food and ambience in the heart of the Riviera. The team is very friendly and they've got a great set of unique cocktails to choose from that pair really well with their food. The clam chowder and hummus are terrific, and the oysters are amazing too!

We had a great time! Food and service have been amazing and we enjoyed our evening. The Brussels sprouts are my favorite!

I tried this restaurant for the first time last night with friends. It's in a great location and there's outside seating which is perfect on a warm SO CA evening. Inside there is a full bar and nicely decorated although it can get loud as it's open to the outside. The server, Alyssa was very attentive and sweet. She made the evening enjoyable. Very professional and knowledgeable and gave us suggestions. I had a delicious beet salad with pistachios which I loved. My husband had the seared albacore which he said was cooked perfectly and was seasoned well with spices.Our friends enjoyed their salmon and oysters. They had a smoky whiskey sour which looked like a small volcano in the middle of the table. Great presentation and they loved it!

Salt & Pearl is the first restaurant I've ever been to that forces you to give your credit card info when you make a reservation and then would charge you $10 if you miss your reservation. It's a nice, clean place with some outdoor seating. They allow for pets in the outdoor area. This place specializes in seafood. I got a crispy skin Scottish salmon and a side of mushrooms. The salmon came with a small half lemon and it was pretty good. The other items that came with it such as the lentils weren't as good as the salmon. The mushrooms were creamy and had an above average taste. The service was amiable. Our total bill for two people was $97.41 (includes tax and tip)

I haven't seen my ride-or-die Cuzzo for a long minute and we were due for one of our brunch sessions! We usually meet halfway between our homes (she's about an hour drive away) but she decided to come through my hood instead. She let Hubbers and I decide where to go. Truth is, we were gonna go somewhere else, but Hubbers called an audible at the last minute and opted to come here instead. We got lucky and found parking a few feet away. We tried our luck by walking in (vs making reservations) but we were confident we were gonna get seated (we arrived sorta at a late-ish brunch-lunch hour.) As we hoped, we were seated immediately. It's a lot smaller than I expected, but the tables were spaced out enough so you're not running elbows with strangers. Our menus were given quickly as well as glasses of water. I'll admit we might have taken long to decide what to eat because we just got to talkin' first before looking through grub! Our server was incredibly patient, though. And it's a good thing there wasn't a wait! BRUSSEL SPROUTS: So this was my pick only because I've never had gochujang brussel sprouts. And what a difference it makes taste-wise. It wasn't strong or overwhelming, it really was mostly a hint, but noticeable, as with the bacon. Good starter. DOZEN OYSTERS: 3 of each: fat bastard, summer stone, Aphrodite and river gold. It's perfectly portioned since we all got to try one of each. Each had their own flavor characteristics. Personally, they didn't need the mignonette or the cocktail sauce. (I tried them anyway, but I liked the oysters as is.) The only teenee issue here? There were tiny bits of shell left post-shucking, so be mindful of that. If you're an oyster fiend, go for this. FRIED RHODE ISLAND CALAMARI: Crispy, good amount of batter, a bit on the salty side (but the cocktail sauce tamed that down.) But the salad that came with it is distracting - it was so good! It should be a side on its own! It's the dressing that makes it. This is one well-put together combo! CRISPY SKIN ICELANDIC SALMON: My choice for grub because I have never had a crispy arugula. (I know, that's a weird reason to have it, even more especially when I'm not really a fan of lentils.) I had hoped, though, that the sidekicks (lentils, sun dried tomatoes, red peppers and arugula) were also evenly portioned -the lentils dominated. But! Can't fault them on that, this is how they prep it - and they weren't bad either. The salmon skin was absolutely crispy and the fish was cooked buttery and flaky. I was surprised how much I enjoyed that. Hubbers opted for the Connecticut lobster roll (which I thought was kinda small for the price) and Cuzzo built her own omelette (which was done wrong the first time but was immediately fixed, so yay for that!) FOOD: 4. SERVICE: 3.75. VALUE: 3. Average at best for what you get. Some might think it's pricey, but the quality makes up for it. PARKING: Metered street only. $1.50/hr, maximum 4 hours. It can get busy during peak hours. Allocate some time for it. OVERALL: 3.5. Okay first run. A second stop is a good possibility since there are a few things in their menu I'd like to eventually try. Someday soon!

The Hamachi collar is top notch excellent. The Yakitori was huge. The sloppy joe was fun and also tasty. The quality of the food here is fresh and beautifully prepared. The happy hour is not cheap but high quality and they keep it classy. The service here is friendly, proactive and I would return here for dinner and drinks.

It was our first time here and it was very delicious. We made reservations and parked at the metered parking lot nearby. The service was great! Our server was so helpful and friendly and I wish we lived closer so we could come back more often. Calamari was excellent, very crispy and loved the sauce because it wasnt too sweet and a little spicy. The scalloped potatoes side dish is very rich, generous and tasty. The clams were excellent and my loster roll and garlic fries were great!

Made reservations for 4th of July. I love this place. The dog friendly outdoor patio was well shaded and comfortable. The service was excellent and most of the food was delicious. We ordered the following: Hamachi Sashimi Calamari Peruvian scallops Smash burger Lobster roll Crab roll Fish and chips Caesar salad The sashimi and scallops were so fresh and well seasoned. The calamari was my favorite. Perfectly salted and crispy. The lobster and crab rolls were delicious and not stingy. They packed the sandwich with tons of lobster and crab and it was really flavorful. The fish and chips were also delicious as was the Caesar salad. The smash burger was pretty average but not horrible. For dessert we got the Chocolate nicciola. It liked better than it tasted. It had too much alcohol flavors and not enough Nutella. It was mostly just chocolate. Overall, I really enjoyed the service and food and would definitely come back.

Service was great, food was tasty, my mother who is a good cook was impressed. My family loved the food. Although we want to give us a suggestion for the mushroom dish. We think it would be even better with a salad or some bread. There's plenty of mushrooms, but there should be a little side dish to compliment the dish. The ambience was good as well. Our dishes were cooked well. Thank you for the free slice of cheesecake for my birthday.

We went there for Saturday dinner. The decor gave off Gatsby vibes. The service was really good. Although the first 2 items that I tried to order on the menu were sold out so not the best restaurant management in that regard. But I ended up ordering the salmon and it was delicious. I liked how they seared the skin and left it on. It came with risotto which was also delicious. My friend had the fish and chips and it was good with a ton of fries but probably not worth the price. We had oysters which tasted fresh and we also had margaritas and liked them. I would've given 4 stars but they were out of 2 of the main seafood selections (albacore and mahi mahi) on their menu and I was forced to try something else. UPDATE-Owners messaged me and explained why the menu selections weren't available. I understand so I updated my review to 4 stars.

We had fish and chips and beets salad and it was delicious. Our server Miranda was absolutely phenomenal, kind, and efficient.. the ambiance is casual but very trendy.. I love this place

I think they tried really hard but personally I found their food to be over seasoned and expensive for what we got.

The staff were so friendly and inviting. We were one of the last parties to be seated for the night. We were offered a couple seating options. We chose the bar. Our Bar tender server Kenneth was amazing. All his recommendations were on point. I truly hate that I passed this small but mighty restaurant up two other occasions. A true flavor powerhouse! The lobster roll delivered. The Mac and cheese was selected as a main dish. It can definitely hold its own with beautiful rich creaminess. Drinks and dessert: The La Nonna is the business and got me right. Don't be fooled by the the Dulce de leche crème brûlée cheesecake- all those distinct flavors merry well.

alyssa she know how to give customer service such a cutie. The espresso martini is amazing they have a variety of a vegan and gluten-free stuff the place design amazing I love it.

Wonderful lunch here on New Years Eve. After walking along the ocean, we went here for lunch. I had my very first Lobster Roll and it was delicious! Great service, fun 80's music playing (a fav of mine) and nice atmosphere. Check them out.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants!! The taste of food is very unique, very delicious and very fresh!! Beautiful decoration inside the restaurant, and the staff are very friendly, especially Dylan, he's the best service, very nice and kind. Highly recommended everyone!!

We loved it! Service was on point and we just had waters and they were really good at refilling. I love the ambiance, I may try to color match their wall for my room. It's a really nice green. What we ordered: My husband got the breakfast croissant sandwich, comes with arugula salad on the side. He cleaned his plate. Chicken Sandwich: super juicy and came with Coleslaw inside. Includes pickles, house Mayo (?) and ketchup. Fries came with it and you can upgrade to Parmesan fries! New addition to their menu: beef short rib hash with toast and a sunny side up egg. Soooo good. It has choice of traditional sauce or their special one -- go with special one! See picture. Not sure if it's permanently on the brunch menu or they are testing it, but get it before it goes away!

Everything was amazing here! The food was delicious (I had the miso salmon ). The drinks were super fun and yummy. The wait staff was attentive and very nice. We went for brunch and it was very chill. We loved their music selection (our waitress did say that they change it soooo....). I will definitely be back!
