Salty Paws Doggy Ice Cream Bar And Bakery

Opal Rae had a pleasant surprise on her way out of town. We stopped in to treat her to some doggy ice cream. She was eager to see what was in the store and sniff everything. That experience was so fun as pet owners sharing our first puppy together as a couple. We thoroughly enjoyed ordering opals ice cream for there and sitting her in her own dog bed seat to eat her ice cream. She ate like she were at the dinner table with us and it was hilarious and cute all at the same time. She is usually completely into greeting every dog she sees but no dog could come in between this girl and her table top ice cream. So happy to have found such a fun place. We will definitely be back with Opal on future beach trips.

Susanne was the top dog hostess!!! She asked a lot of good questions as we were deciding what flavor to order for our golden retriever with allergies. Great place to stop in for any dog celebration or “ just because.” Would have liked to have seen the floor a bit cleaner. Overall a fun experience. We took our lab for his 3rd birthday.

What a fun experience for you and your dog! This store offers a variety of dog treats and toys, as well as a little cat section for your feline friends. We visited yesterday and the woman who helped us was exceptional. Truly wonderful customer service. Their ice cream selection is a dream come true for any doggy!

A shop with a fun, unique concept with a variety of unique, dog-friendly ice cream flavors and toppings. The lady who assisted us was friendly and personable. My dog devoured her scoop of cookie crumble!

What a cute puppy place! The service was great, informative of the products and suggestions. We took our own little "Salty Paws" Ralphie for ice cream and he was in heaven! We'll be back soon.

Such a fun spot to bring your dog to!! My dog was welcomed in by a very friendly staff. They offered him water and a few samples to try. They have a cold stone like set up but all freshly made and for dogs. They even have carob my dogs favorite!! And of course you can add toppings like beef liver, peanut butter etc. They offer to go pup cups or in house chilled bowls for the dog to eat there sweet treat from. The icecream last surprisingly longer then normal icecream would. They have seats for you to sit at inside while your dog eats. This shop also has toys, cookies, bones, shampoo etc to purchase. The staff also does not discriminate bully breeds they love all friendly dogs!! They also have a cookie wall to buy to bring some home for your dog. All cookies have lots of designs and locally made. Remember dogs are not allowed on Rehoboth beach/ boardwalk during the summer but there are plenty of restaurants along the main street that are dog friendly and they do have a few beaches around the area that are dog friendly !! So check this place out and support a local business!!!

If you're coming to Rehoboth Beach with your pups you have to stop at the home of dog ice cream and treat them! Such a cute store with so many things to buy besides ice cream. They offer different sizes of ice cream and the option to take home or stay. They have a few tables inside and a bench outside. Our boys definitely enjoyed it!

The place is adorable, but the customer service is terrible. Both times we have gone in here, the guys working the cash register were useless. They know nothing about the products. This last time, the young kid had air pods in the whole time while customers were in the store. (Probably the reason why nobody answers the phone). He had to take them out in order to attempt to answer any questions- which he flat out told me he didn't even know if one of the treats had cbd in it. This place needs better employees because they suck!

Love this store. I was there once this summer. The young girl working suggested a toy and cookie for my dog based on what I told her about him. The toy is his favorite and I'm hoping to buy him more for Christmas. Cute. Creative. Delightful staff. Can't wait to go back

This is going to be a short review. Lol but this store is very clean and nice. Many options to choose from. Only thing is, is that everything in here is pricey. Haha came in here just to shop and some of their toys are $20 and up for a dog just to chew up and you throw away. Their treats where prices ok. But it's like a pet boutique so they are going to hit you with boutique pricing. Lol staff were super nice! And you should check this spot out if you are a dog lover and want to treat your pet to something bougie haha

This is seriously a cute store for your pups. Gosh it makes me want to go out and get a dog just so I can fully enjoy the experience. They have dog treats galore! They also have ice cream you can make on your own at home. I purchased one of those for sure! Pricing was reasonable especially for the area the store was in. I really appreciate that. The staff were helpful and very engaging. I can not get over the ice cream made in house for the dogs. Oh, and those mini cones!!! So stinking cute! The flavors made me go yuck but, I am sure they would make any dog salivate. The topping cracked me up too. Only because it is geared towards dogs. Beef liver, beef, chicken and cookie crunch to name a few. If you have a dog yourself or know someone who has a dog, you have to hit this store up. I think they have 1-2 more locations.

Super cute idea. My pup loved being able to pick out his ice cream, topping and treats. Very affordable for the location as well. Gave the owner an idea to run contests with dogs or do a doggy Happy Hour to get some more clientle coming in. She was super sweet and accomodating, even giving a silver bowl which kept the ice cream cool for my dog since he was taking his good old time with his snack.

this place shouldnt have 1 star they should have no stars. I went there and they were closed on all the internet websites said they were open and the last time I was in rehoboth in was late March on a week day and they were open my dog had a vet appointment and wanted to take my dog there for a treat because I had never been there and wanted to try it so when I saw they were closed I wanted to throw a brick through their window business need to update their pages. I hope their business goes down hill.

Since Rehoboth is such a dog friendly town, it's only fitting that Salty Paws is here for all your pups cravings. This is a huge store with such a great selection of food and treats. They've got a huge section of just handmade treats with the cutest decoration for your pup. They're all natural too. There's also a section of smaller treats that aren't decorated. You can fill a bag by the pound there and it was super cheap. What's really a treat is the ice cream bar. They had the cutest flavors with the most fun toppings like chicken and liver. I can definitely see myself bringing my dog next year and getting him a scoop on a hot day. Salty Paws is a really fun place to stop to check all the food and snack options for your dogs. Staff was really friendly too.

This is literally a dog bakery! I definitely recommend to come to salty paws because they have aesthetic little biscuits for you puppies and they have unique toys displayed as well! (They do allow you dog to come into the store).

Really cute dog friendly store that has all kinds of treats for your pup. They actually offer a wide variety of different snacks and even ice cream. We went with the bacon flavored ice cream and some cookies. Both were a huge hit with our dog.

I love everything about this place, except the fact that I can't stop myself from buying everything when I go. Aside from the ice cream, which our pups love, most of the treats are limited ingredients, and relatively healthy.

After a long day at the beach, we decided to take our dogs for a special treat. Saw the advertisement for this place as we were walking along the strip and decided to stop in for a look. One side seems to be a place with a variety of all natural dog treats. The other is decorated like a good old fashioned ice cream parlor, except this one is made especially for dogs! There are a ton of different ice cream flavors - all dog-friendly of course - with a variety of special dog-friendly toppings. You can choose to get it in a cup or a cone, although they also provide a bowl to make it easier on the owners :) Our girls LOVED their ice cream and scarfed it all down. They even ignored the other dogs in the place as they focused intently on their special treat! If you are in Rehoboth with your dogs, do them a favor and stop in for a treat!

We stopped in to check it out with our dog, this place is great!!!!! Heaven for anyone who loves their dogs. Free samples of doggy ice cream, peanut butter and maple bacon were the favs!! The woman who works there was FABULOUS you can tell she is a true animal lover. We will definitely be back!

For such an adorable dog shop, the store owner sure is a total joke, who runs a business at one of the busiest towns during the busy season with only 1-2 people working 8+ hour shifts; not to mention lack of communication and arrogance from her, do better Suzanne.

As we were walking through town with our 2 pups we followed the "Doggie ice cream" signs to find Salty Paws! This place was so fun! Tons of varieties of doggie ice cream, toppings and treats! Pups LOVED it! I told the owner that my one pup had a sensitive stomach so she suggested the pumpkin ice cream. The parlor is next to their store that has tons of healthy treats and bones!

Super cute spot to pick up a treat for your pup. Service was good. Lots of toppings for the ice cream if your dog likes something special.

Very fun. Took our dog for doggy ice cream - yogurt and goats milk I think. They have about a dozen or so flavors, and a whole shop next door with all kinds of treats. It was cute.

Brought my dog here for the first time today. The shop is a good size, and has SO many different ice cream flavors and topping options (just like a human shop!) The associate working there was so incredibly friendly, giving my dog a couple treats. He also helped me choose a flavor for my picky pup (maple-bacon with dried chicken as the topping) and it was served in a dog bowl - genius. No sliding on the floor, and I didn't have to hold it either. Suffice it to say, she LOVED her ice cream. She's hit or miss around other dogs, and there were 3 others in the shop. She ignored every single one of them because she was completely focused on her ice cream, and finished every last bite. I also went next door to buy some treats for her and a few other dogs and again the same associate was so helpful and friendly. This place is a must for your dog!!! They will love you for it :)

This place is such a cute idea! Brought my dog Nacho here a few weeks ago for some dog-friendly ice cream made with goat's milk. We got the pumpkin flavor, which is actually health for dogs and there are toppings as well (the dried liver is my dog's favorite!). The dog treat bakery attached has such a large selection for all types of dogs. Nacho is a super chewer and the owner helped me pick out the perfect bones! He's still working on a few of them! I can't wait to take my dog back. Thanks so much!

Love the ice cream options they have here plus the creative toppings you can add for your dog! We got the pumpkin ice cream with beef crumbles for my German Shepherd today and she loved it! They were out of peanut butter and bacon flavor by the time we got there around 2pm. They have so many options for flavors and toppings as well as all the decorated puppy cookies! You can have them put the ice cream in a dog bowl for them to eat in the store or they can even do it to go with a plastic lid on top so it doesn't get messy! Love this place and will be coming back here every time we come to Rehoboth!

loved visiting this store! they have so many different toys and treats, as well as a doggy ice cream bar! things were reasonably priced and the staff was friendly. i brought some treats home to my dogs and my one picky dog loved them! highly recommend stopping by and bringing your dog if you have the chance.

Wow! What an amazing place! Never thought I could bring my little Penny somewhere for ice cream just for her and good for her. Love the treats and the ice cream parlor. A one of kind.
