Salty Paws Doggy Ice Cream Bar And Bakery

Opal Rae had a pleasant surprise on her way out of town. We stopped in to treat her to some doggy ice cream. She was eager to see what was in the store and sniff everything. That experience was so fun as pet owners sharing our first puppy together as a couple. We thoroughly enjoyed ordering opals ice cream for there and sitting her in her own dog bed seat to eat her ice cream. She ate like she were at the dinner table with us and it was hilarious and cute all at the same time. She is usually completely into greeting every dog she sees but no dog could come in between this girl and her table top ice cream. So happy to have found such a fun place. We will definitely be back with Opal on future beach trips.

What a fun experience for you and your dog! This store offers a variety of dog treats and toys, as well as a little cat section for your feline friends. We visited yesterday and the woman who helped us was exceptional. Truly wonderful customer service. Their ice cream selection is a dream come true for any doggy!

What a cute puppy place! The service was great, informative of the products and suggestions. We took our own little "Salty Paws" Ralphie for ice cream and he was in heaven! We'll be back soon.

Mylo is a fan! This is the cutest little shop for fur babies. They have options for dine in or take out with a lot of fun flavors of ice cream, donuts, cookies, and treats.

I had drove an hour to come here with my pup for the first time. It looked so cute. I ordered him a single scoop of birthday cake which he happily ate. That evening he wouldn’t eat his dinner which is not like him at all. Then he woke up whining in the middle of the night and rushed outside with completely watered stool which I’ve never seen him have before. This has been continuing every 2 hours. The poor guy is suffering. I know this ice cream didn’t agree with him because it’s the only new thing that was added into his diet.

Such a fun spot to bring your dog to!! My dog was welcomed in by a very friendly staff. They offered him water and a few samples to try. They have a cold stone like set up but all freshly made and for dogs. They even have carob my dogs favorite!! And of course you can add toppings like beef liver, peanut butter etc. They offer to go pup cups or in house chilled bowls for the dog to eat there sweet treat from. The icecream last surprisingly longer then normal icecream would. They have seats for you to sit at inside while your dog eats. This shop also has toys, cookies, bones, shampoo etc to purchase. The staff also does not discriminate bully breeds they love all friendly dogs!! They also have a cookie wall to buy to bring some home for your dog. All cookies have lots of designs and locally made. Remember dogs are not allowed on Rehoboth beach/ boardwalk during the summer but there are plenty of restaurants along the main street that are dog friendly and they do have a few beaches around the area that are dog friendly !! So check this place out and support a local business!!!

Very nice store, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Our pup Ivy picked out a few favs while on vacation including a purple kong squid! Lots of choices to choose from 😊

My dog has never been happier in her entire life. She has a super sensitive diet and the ice cream caused zero problems. We will 100% coming back
