"When you approach Salud’s mural-covered NoDa building, you get to pick from three doors. In the middle is the one you want, and it reads: BREWERY COFFEE PIZZA ART SALUD. Once you go up the staircase, you’ll find yourself in a spacious taproom that feels like a secret, grown-up clubhouse. And it’s a true community hangout in Charlotte that’s great for literally anyone, any time of the day. If you’re there in the morning, get a coffee and the breakfast crunchwrap with sausage, scrambled eggs, melted cheddar, crema, a crispy corn tortilla, homemade cheez whiz, and pico de gallo, all wrapped in a griddled flour tortilla blanket. The vibe is fun enough you’ll probably want to stick around, grab a pint and a Latin Lingo pizza, and play some Nintendo or post up with your laptop." - tess allen

"Up the steep staircase of Salud Beer Shop is Jason and Dairelyn Glunt’s divey, low-key taproom and wood-fired kitchen joint. The plethora of rotating local beers on tap, including a banana stout and a Mexican lager with flaked corn, makes Salud a come-back-soon type of spot. Salud’s “Mamacita” meatballs, “Ain’t No Thang But a Chicken Wing,” and “Hootie Hoo” margherita pizza to split complement this trusty, casual ambiance." - Kayleigh Ruller

Google
Salud Cerveceria is such a hidden gem in Charlotte! I stopped by for coffee and pizza, and both hit the spot. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the pizza was fresh with great toppings. The interior has a cool, artsy vibe—definitely not your average brewery look. What really stood out was the energy—great music, friendly crowd, and I love that they host a DJ party on Saturdays. It’s the kind of place where you can chill during the day and vibe out at night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food, good drinks, and a unique atmosphere.

Google
Nice hip place to enjoy morning coffee with some chill beats. Place features full bar and plenty of great cocktails. Staff was energetic and fun. Perfect spot to meet friends or let the day drift away. Food was tastey! Perfect way to start exploring NoDa.

Google
Visiting Charlotte for the day, checking out a few spots before the VOLA show at The Underground later. My research indicated that Salud tends to have good sours on tap. I was very pleased! That guava skittle sour was maybe the best sour ale I've ever had. Sadly they didn't have any cans for me to take home so I had to drink 2 while I was there. I also tried the blueberry sour which was just alright. I was there in time for the lunch special. A pizza and 4 generously sized wings (I got garlic parm) for 15 bucks isn't a bad deal. Hopefully next time I'll be able to try that Detroit style pizza. Friendly staff, cool decor, great vibes. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Google
The food is top notch and vegan items are clearly labeled. We had the vegan lingo & the vegan meatball sandwich. The vegan lingo is one of the best pizzas I've ever had - vegan or not. The vibe was super chill too. Highly recommend!

Tony Eats Pizza

Google
My favorite Detroit Style Pizza in Charlotte. It’s only available on Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s owned by a couple, husband is from Michigan, wife is from the Dominican Republic. Husband decorated the beer shop downstairs and the wife decorated the upstairs. Very cool place, definitely worth checking out! Love that frico crust on the Detroit Style! Also some very cool artwork throughout!

Google
As soon as you walk into this space it has such a welcoming vibe. Tons of seating space so even if it is busy it doesn’t have that busy feel. Lots of great coffee as well as amazing food options. Come see it for yourself. Everyone that has helped me here has been amazing but Darian always goes above and beyond. Has great recommendations and such a great vibe. Thank you for everything you do. 10/10 would recommend.

Google
The best brewery in Charlotte. The food is always fast and delicious. The beer is top notch. Always true to style. Always bubbly. Bartenders are always extremely knowledgeable with flavor profiles and recommendations. The merch is always poppin. I cant get enough.

Google
Went here with a friend for a night out dancing and it was a nice break from the usual spots. Felt like a hidden gem discovering the upstairs area. Like entering a new world. The Dj’s were both great and there’s Was a variety of music which I liked. Almost like if you gave a friend the aux cord, and they began to play songs you thought they wouldn’t know. It was great! I will most certainly keep coming back.

Yelp
A very laid back brew pub serving wood fired pizza, apps and salads along with craft beers. Tried their Del Patio which was a Mexican Lager only 4% ABV. Refreshing on a hot Spring day. We sat upstairs. You order your beverages and food at the bar and the food is brought to you. My wife is Gluten free so she had the Jazzy Belle Beet Salad with roasted beets, arugula, gorgonzola, pistachios and balsamic vinaigrette. A lot going on but blended well We also tried the Latin Lingo pizza with chicken, roasted corn, onion, jalapenos,Parm cheese ( they were out of Cotija) cilantro and a Spicey creme base...extremely flavorful but I think would have beej better with the Cotija. Also had the Humble Mumble pizza which was pesto, garlic, chicken, feta,EVOO,tomato and calabrian Chiles. Lots going on with this pizza! For a very relaxed setting with unique pizza flavors, this is a fun place to go.

Zach M.

Yelp
First, let me start by saying this is a bottle shop/taproom BUT they arguably have the best wings in all of Charlotte! Any of the flavors are downright delicious. Cozy and eclectic atmosphere that is family friendly, a great date night spot or even somewhere to go solo. Always have a solid selection of beers and wines. Known mostly for their pizza, with a few other options such as salads, sandwiches and sides. Salud has been my go to in the Noda area for years. Couldn't recommend more.

Brittanie H.

Yelp
Salud is still good after all these years, but they've transformed for the better. Admittedly, I always order delivery from them even though I live in the neighborhood, so I can't speak to the current in-house service or the ambiance. But as for the food, it is my lazy night pizza go-to, and it never disappoints. My favorite is the El Gordo with pepperoni. It is the quintessential meat-lovers pizza taken to the next level with hot honey and whipped ricotta. I usually eat half and then save the rest for lunch the next day. It heats up nicely in the microwave or the oven. In true Salud fashion, there are still many vegan options, making this an excellent place to come if you have a friend group with varying dietary needs or for a meatless Monday. Salad continues to be a NoDa staple, and for good reason, you won't be disappointed.

Annette M.

Yelp
From the plants and artwork to the music and shuffleboard this place has a fun and funky vibe. We ordered two pizzas for three to share, the Latin Lingo and the Humble Mumble. The pizzas are the chewy yet fluffy hand made kind. I had the beet salad since I am gluten free. Everything was delicious and the bartender was friendly and helpful.

Zoe J.

Yelp
Finally made the choice to stop in here and it was definitely the right choice! I only got coffee this visit but it was delicious! This place is such an awesome space I was able to do some work but other people are watching sports on TV, playing a game or just socializing. They had a huge selection of beer that I'll definitely be trying out next time. To top it all off the staff was consistently kind and attentive and it really made my experience 5

Francisco M.

Yelp
This was a pretty good brewery. Has a lot of comfy sofas and very chill. I looooved the fact that they play Spanish indie music. This is the only place I've seen doing that. Excellent environment.

Iwona A.

Yelp
This place is tucked away but the inside is impressive. It has two floors. There are multiple seating options. They also have different games like shuffleboard and pool. They have drinks and coffee. I tried their coffee, the orange moon latte, and it was so good. It had rosemary in it, which came through. They also have screens to watch basketball, football, whatever game is going on. They have salsa, the third saturday of every month.

Carly W.

Yelp
This is one of my go to breakfast joints that is under the radar. I love their festive coffee drinks too and have to get the gingerbread latte with almond milk because not only does it taste good but it comes with the cutest gingerbread cookie and plate! My go to off the breakfast burrito is the breakfast burrito or I've also gotten the Greek yogurt parfait. The burrito is not as good as ones in LA (where I moved from) but it gets the job done and is one of the best in Charlotte.

Carrie J.

Yelp
This spot is a whole vibe. I love all of the plants and open space - this is the brewery portion upstairs where the bottle shop is downstairs. Lots of different seating options and really loved the art work. The pizza was SO GOOD and unique, loved the beer and how they serve flights and a sake slushy - so cool. They don't have designated parking but there is free street parking as well as a small parking lot across the street. Bartenders and servers were so nice and helpful!

Mark C.

Yelp
Awesome place for pizza and drinks. We ate upstairs which has more room than the downstairs and it also has a shuffleboard table. I haven't seen one of those in years. The interior is fun, Colorful and the service was great. The pizza Combinations were unique and we Loved the chicken wing appetizer also. Definitely a place to try.

Dana A.

Yelp
The best way to describe this place is is a homage to southern hip-hop wrapped in the form of a Mexican brewery. I don't even know if that is a thing, but Salud Cervecería has definitely made it a thing. Love this spot. Starting with the artwork, album covers and hip-hop memorabilia, it's the kind of place that you spend more time looking at the walls then you do ordering food and drinks. Service was dope, albeit space is a little tight on the downstairs bar. Service was still prompt and courteous. And while we didn't order a ton of things on the menu, the wings are really really good. My favorite thing of all was the various Micheladas. My lady had the ashtray and I wanted to take hers and give her mine!!

Amber T.

Yelp
Been here twice. Beer selection is impressive, and I always find something really special. Today I had food with my vegan daughter, and it was powerfully good! Vegan meatballs, focaccia bread, and some crunchy delicious fried cauliflower with vegan dipping sauce. I will make this a destination anytime I'm in Noda.

Latavia C.

Yelp
A nice cozy upbeat place to enjoy a quick to go or sit down relaxed Breakfast paired with a coffee or tea. I so love the art work of artists I grew up listening to as a teenager and now. It added a good refresh vibe while I ate my breakfast this morning. I had the Bialy bacon and cheese sandwich that was full of a thick crust flavor from the butter and salt option I chose. It was so filling I had some left over. My salted Carmel Latte was sweet and gave me the energy I needed to jump started my Saturday. The staff was very helpful explaining the sandwich/menu to me as well.

Britney S.

Yelp
The overall vibes of Salud are 10/10. The beer shop is located downstairs but if you go up one flight of steep stairs we'll find yourself in a dimly lit and cozy spot full of plants, a bar and a small stage. It's a great spot to hang out with a small group of friends. My bf and I grabbed two pizzas on a Friday night when we went and they were soooo good! We were there around 8:30-9:30ish and it was pretty chill I'm sure it probably gets busier/louder as the night progresses. Overall would def recommend

Victoria B.

Yelp
Legit one of my favorite restaurants in CLT! They are delicious from the pizzas to the meatball sub. They always have amazing sours and other beers to choose from and even brew some theirselves. They've also got a wide variety of wine to choose from. The vibe is popping, they are always playing r&b and hip hop. It's on the smaller side so sometimes seats are scarce but they are Bae.

Destiny H.

Yelp
I love this place! This is definitely a heart beat of noda. Salud is a really cool beer shop and restaurant with tons of options. The food is mainly flatbreads and they're delicious. I want to note that there's two floors. Upstairs has bar and comfy couch seating and downstairs has bar and outdoor seating. I love it here. I often find myself here alone grabbing a local beer and reading a book. If you're traveling or new to noda this place is a must!

Ashley F.

Yelp
It's insane I've never written a review for this spot! It's super lowkey and chill, great staff and I usually never have a hard time finding parking on the street nearby. I've gone a few times and enjoyed various crazy beers. They have a pretty solid collection of brews, I'd say. The last time I went I got to check out the Jon Gs pop up! #bestdayever The Salud staff even came outside and took beer orders from the line. Definitely five star service! A great go to spot for great food and beer.

Kayla W.

Yelp
There's a reason this spot is James Beard nominated. The vibes are fun and laid back, customer service is always great, the staff is very knowledgeable, and the food is AMAZING. I was doing an elimination diet when I visited so I opted for something vegan to try and this pizza is the best thing I've tried in awhile. Super unique and you almost think it shouldn't go together but it does! I also love that they do $10 wine flights on Wednesdays. I will be back (and I've already been back haha).

Tyler M.

Yelp
Awesome place with awesome beer. We arrived around 4pm and it was nice and chill and great for the family. When the sun went down it became more like a college atmosphere which is great but time for us to head out since we had this kids. I got a flight of 6 beers with my favorite being the coffee blonde ale. So good. Then we got a pizza that was delicious but there was a problem in the kitchen so it took a couple hours so we had to get it to go. Not great when you have kids but we made it work. Beers made up for all of it

Mark H.

Yelp
Great environment and service. And the Pizza...holy cow. Amazing. Absolutely incredible. The pepperoni rolls are to die for. Fun place. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Noda.

Kathryn T.

Yelp
I'm honestly shocked I haven't written a review about Salud yet. When people ask what my favorite place in Charlotte is, Salud is my go to answer. I love that I can get a beer on draft, but if they don't have anything that strikes my fancy, it's also a bottle shop... they have a huge selection of local and non-local beers in their coolers, as well as wine and other drinks. I also love that they serve their own beer upstairs, but downstairs has varying tap selections from other breweries. (They've had a few beers on draft from my favorite breweries in richmond, VA a couple times which I love!!) And the food!!! I cannot get enough of the pizza. The spottieottie pizza is my favorite (very classic), but you can't go wrong with the Latin lingo if you're in the mood for something different. The white potato pizza is also fun, but it's a very distinct taste, so I prefer to get that if I'm with a group that's splitting several things. The meatballs are also *chef's kiss* definitely one of my favorite places to hang with friends over good food and good beer!

Kelly A.

Yelp
Cute, hip wine spot in NODA! The downstairs area is pretty small and unassuming but has hundreds of different wines and beers to choose from. I'm a wine gal, so I went for a dry red. The wines are organized by area of origin and not type, so I solicited the help of the super friendly bartender to point me in the direction of a bottle of my choice. We headed upstairs and snagged a seat at a tall table...the 2nd level is large with really cool paintings and murals on the walls. Definitely that cool-chic nightlife vibe. Right as we arrived, a DJ started and played some fun music. This a great place to go with a group of friends!

Jenelle R.

Yelp
Likes: Pizza, alcoholic slushies, and vibe were all pretty good but not amazing. Latin night and dancing were great, would return just for that. Dislikes: Parking is hard like anywhere in Noda but there is a garage nearby. You'd expect Mexican food from this place but instead they have American food like pizza and wings.

Robert H.

Yelp
My cousin wanted to check this place out and it seemed legit. The music was okay but the layout is very weird, especially the placement of the bathrooms. As for the drinks, they don't serve liquor, just beer, wine, and seltzers. I should have stuck with a beer because the weird concoction I order was not my type of drink and I left it behind.

Aaron C.

Yelp
Been to Salud a few times for breakfast.. it's been getting better each time. Atmosphere is just about the best you could ask for, staff is always kind, and the food will have you dancing.. Big recommend

Lily R.

Yelp
I wish I had taken pictures here. I was too distracted whilst eating some of thee best wings of my life!!!!!!! The beers are absolutely fantastic. My top favorite was a passion fruit flavored one. I honestly don't remember if it was a beer or a sour but it was super duper delicioso! My understanding is that the owner is Dominican which I think is pretty cool (I hope that's correct!)

Kelly C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places! Their beer is excellent, especially when they have some of their thicker smoothie sours on tap. The street corn wings are my absolute favorite; they have crispy skin and excellent flavor. Their pizzas are wood fired and they have a great variety of flavors. We sat the bar this most recent time and the bartender was super nice and attentive and we enjoyed chatting with him. Would always recommend this place!

Daniel V.

Yelp
We came solely for their collab pizza with Jon G's BBQ after seeing it on IG. We walked upstairs and had the whole place to ourselves for lunch. We ordered the Jon and the Mexican street corn wings. The pizza lived up to all the rave and the wings were interesting, as they were topped with corn. I thought it was more of a play on the name and I was expecting a dry rub with Mexican flavors. Will swing back by to try the other two pizzas from the collab.

Maddie H.

Yelp
The food was fine and it was a cute space to eat in, but if you have an allergy I definitely wouldn't recommend it. My boyfriend, who is allergic to tree nuts, ordered a sandwich that had no mention of tree nuts or it being prepared on the same spaces that had tree nuts at all, but he still had an allergic reaction from it. This place clearly has very lax regulations on their food preparation policies. If there is nothing on the menu to indicate tree nuts in a particular dish or shared preparation spaces with tree nuts that are not well cleaned between different items, I should not have to worry about administering an epipen in the venue. This was very disappointing.

John E.

Yelp
You can find Salud Cerveceria at 3306-C N Davidson St, Charlotte, NC 28205 in NoDa. If there's a parking lot nearby I'm not sure where it is - we parked along the streets - arriving early enough that we could find a space - may be more difficult during busy hours. This was our second brewery of the day having started at Fonta Flora at Optimist Hall (find my review of both the brewery and food also on Yelp). The building's exterior is brightly painted with murals and there's plenty of lighting (it's on a corner). I think of Salud as a cornerstone brewery and a must-visit while in Charlotte and love the In-your-face Mexican themes - who wouldn't want to take a selfie in front of the luchadores in the back corner after climbing up the stairs? You access the taproom through stairs to the right of the main entry - this opens up into a deceptively large lounge area with the bar towards the back-right. The interior is eclectic, has many Mexican themes and is quite comfortable with plenty of mixed seating (lounge areas and tables) Salud uses an Untappd menu so it's fairly up-to-date, reflecting what they currently have on tap - if you check-in while there you're Untappd icon (you do have an Untappd account, right?) scrolls across the bottom of the screen. Check-ins are good and reviews are even better as feedback to the brewers on what you like and why. On this occasion I tried the following: * Tiki Dairlynerweisse Pineapple, strawberry, banana, coconut fruited sour 4.3/5 - Unusual creamy bodied sour with notes of pineapple, strawberry, banana and coconut, frothy head, finishing sweet with a lingering creamy finish * The Pattern of Devastation We Became 4/5 (Burial) - This is supposed to be awest coast IPA but the body, character and tropicals register more like a NEIPA - you then get a dank hoppy finish. * El Colmado: Passionfruit Lime Margarita 4.1/5 - Registers more like a gose with fruity notes of sweet passionfruit, tart lime and orange with a touch of salt * Me Fui De Vacaciones - 4.3 Interesting nutty sour with a creamy sweet chocolate body, finishing well balanced and dry - I liked this a lot more than I thought I would - usually chocolate sours register as bitter coffee to me, but not this one. * Humble Saison 3.8/5 - Others may like this one but the hoppy finish threw me off a bit - initially has a typical Belgian banana nose but the hops take over and add bitterness to the finish. * Double Up Pale - 4/5 Pretty decent easy drinking pale with citrus and strawberry notes, a fairly neutral backbone finishing hoppy with great lacing. * Que Golazo Pils 3.7/5 - I'm not the biggest fan of pilsner and this one is only slightly above standard - easy drinking lightly sweet malty body, well balanced by slightly bitter hoppy finish. * Del Patio Mex Lager 3.7 - Pretty standard Mexican lager with corn offsetting most of the malt sweetness - I think of this as a perfect spicy food beer, finishes mildly hoppy. * Fortified Live DIPA 4/5 - Good double NEIPA with hazy, juicy citrus body, fairly strong finishing dry and hoppy. * Vamos a la Playa Kolsch 4/5 - One of the better kolsch that I've had recently with neutral malty backbone, citrus notes finishing with a well-balanced hop bitterness. * Batida De Chocolate Sour 4.4/5 - Another chocolate sour that I thought I wouldn't like but is actually quite good, tart raspberry in a thick smoothie-creamy body finishing in sweet chocolate. * Panettone Dessert Blonde 4/5 - Interesting creamy body is accented with rum-raisin cake and sweet orange, it actually does register as a Panettone cake, finishing with a well-balanced sweet-to-tart that's quite satisfying. Service was quite good even thought I think the servers were a bit annoyed at us for buying flights (they come up to 6 and are served in wooden cigar boxes - nice touch) - we did hang out long enough to buy halves and full pours and we tend to tip well so I hope we made up for our L2 inebriation. Our next visit we'll explore in depth and hit the restaurant.

Giovanna K.

Yelp
This a good chill vibe. They have a great lunch special of 4 wings and a pizza for 15 bucks! The staff was chill, personable and patient as I sat there working all day.

Brittany W.

Yelp
Love that they do coffee during the day and beer at night. Food is pretty good; only had the pizza! Coffee is hitting tho!

Juliana D.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try salud for the longest time and I'm so glad I finally was able to go! Everything was great! The service, the atmosphere, the food, music, etc. I came here on salsa night, which they have every 3rd Saturday of the month (wish it was every Saturday). The dj was awesome and had everyone dancing the whole night. I loved the salsa and bachata lessons then gave at the beginning of the night. It really got people on the dance floor. For food, I ordered the chicken sandwich and fruit as the side. It was really good! The bread was nice and crunchy and I loved the garlic spread on it. The sandwich was huge too! The fruit was a nice refreshing side. I ordered the passion fruit hard seltzer as my drink and really enjoyed it. Overall, this place is awesome and I can't wait to come back!!

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
After someone posted that one of their pizzas was in their top 5 pizzas of all time, we had to prioritize coming here! Covid-19: you can order and pay online. They also offer curbside pickup which is nice since parking isn't easy in Noda. I had trouble narrowing down what I wanted to get, so we ended up over ordering. We got L.A. Andre Pastor Wings, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pizza, Latin Lingo Elote Chicken Pizza, Liberation Potato Pizza. The Liberation Potato Pizza was hands down my favorite. Potato on a pizza may sound weird, but they're sliced thinly and just soak up the truffle cheesey flavor of the pizza. My next favorite was the Latin Lingo Elote Chicken Pizza. The flavors on it were perfect. I loved the cream sauce too. The Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pizza was good in small amounts, but I wasn't a big fan of the spicy base. I love spicy food, but the spice kind of just took over the whole pizza so you couldn't taste the other flavors. It was also weird to me since Cubans aren't spicy. The Al Pastor wings were unique and I enjoyed them. They were also pretty spicy which was surprising to me since I've never had a spicy Al Pastor before. This is one of the most under the radar pizza places in Charlotte. I love the unique things they're doing and would recommend checking them out!

Denise H.

Yelp
Y'all know the drill-5 stars when I go back and it's consistent. The place is cute. Played good music until the soccer game started-which apparently a lot of people come here to watch the matches. I started with the Double Up beer and had an El Patio. I liked the El Patio better. We had the "I can't wait" (Pizza Rolls) they were delicious! The cheese and dough with the tomatoes and pepperoni were spot on. We also tried the Humble Mumble pizza and it was good just a little too spicy for me. I will definitely be back. Find street parking though bc the garage was Alan it more than the food and they don't validate!

Anthony T.

Yelp
My wife told me that we had to try the Liberation Potato Pizza at Salud Cerveceria. She said that so many people have raved about how it is so good. I'm happy to say the hype was real! My wife and I shared the following: L.A. Andre Pastor Wings Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pizza Latin Lingo Elote Chicken Pizza Liberation Potato Pizza I loved all three pizzas but the Liberation Potato Pizza was my favorite, followed by Latin Lingo Elote Chicken Pizza, and then the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pizza. The L.A. Andre Pastor Wings were unlike any wings I've had before.

Madelyn D.

Yelp
This place definitely deserves five stars. My food took a while, but the cashier did let me know it would be that long, and the food was great! The wings were close to perfect, and they have a really good beer selection on tap and also a bunch in the coolers.

Allison W.

Yelp
Super cute vibes. Came on a Sunday night and had to wait a little for our food, but it was well worth it. The pizza was delicious. There is no elevator or escalator and you have to go up a flight of stairs. There isn't a parking lot designed for Salud, so add 10 minutes to find parking or be willing to pay to park.

D A.

Yelp
Great bottle selection, occasionally come here to find barrel aged barleywine and stouts. Tap selection decent and upstairs nice little hangout

Nicole M.

Yelp
Love this space. Great drinks, food, ambiance. Super chill. Tons of other digital nomads, larger than it looks initially. Lots of comfortable non standard seating like couches, chairs and love seats. Really a great spot for talking, home or remote work, and it had a lively bar area. Thier pizza was one of the best things I have set my teeth into in 2021. Super delicious. They have a wide variety of beers, including sours, which was lovely. The decor was very eclectic and moody mixed with boho and latina and urban. So i guess that is really all over the place. We had a great time visiting, would recommend for lunch.

Meredith L.

Yelp
I joined my friend the other weekend at Salud's upstairs taproom and I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. I had never been before and was a little confused about where it was located but while crossing the street noticed the painted name on the brick and the door entrance to the taproom. The upstairs taproom was cozy and quaint! There are several large tables throughout as well as a sitting area with fluffy pillows and more living room furniture to sit with a group of friends or even to sit and enjoy a great book while sipping on a coffee. My friend and I each ordered a beer from the bar but we ended up waiting 10-15 minutes just standing there for someone to help us. There only seemed to be 1 person working up front that we could tell and she was busy making latte's and different coffee drinks at the espresso machine. We were patient and didn't mind waiting, but it was a little uncomfortable as a line started forming behind us. By the time she took our order you could tell she was stressed and in turn wasn't super friendly. We felt like we were bothering her by ordering our drinks and food. We finally got our beers and took a seat at one of the high top counters. We had put in an order for their margarita pizza and it came out in a timely manner and was delicious. Plenty for 2 people to share. I definitely will be back and may even take my computer with me to work from a table one of these days. I work remotely from home and it seemed to be a good place to do so! There were other people on their laptops during our visit.

Yelp
I've been a huge fan of Salud's pizza ever since they started serving it, and my favorite of their pizzas by far was the Hootie-Hoo Margarita. It was one of my favorite pizzas in Charlotte, especially considering that I can walk here! However, after the pizza they served me tonight I don't think I will ever want to come back. They very obviously made a normal cheese pizza by mistake and then just lumped COLD fresh mozzarella on it and for some reason decided that was fit to serve to somebody who ordered a margarita pizza. I honestly can't say why I ate some of it anyways instead of sending it back, but the real question is why did they think it was acceptable to serve this pizza?? I guess they saved themselves the cost of throwing away a pizza they made by mistake but they certainly lost my business going forward. I would rather drive to another pizza restaurant than walk to a place that would serve something like this. I've attached a picture - ask yourself, is this a margarita pizza??

Yelp
Came across this place via IG and just had to check it out. I was in the NODa area and wanted a chill spot to study. This place offers a nice mix of coffee shop, bar and lounge. The decor is very eclectic and funky. The bar has limited seating, but was super inviting. This visit, I opted for the beer. I can't remember which it was, but it was delicious!! Next time I come, I'll have to try the coffee. Overall, dope spot if you're in the area and looking for a chill vibe. They have food too! Which looked pretty good as well.

Yelp
Discovered this place for the first time. The bagel egg sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was about the best I've ever had. The place was clean and fun and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back for lunch.

Yelp
Delicious! I've been here a few times. The food is great and the beers are awesome. Recently tried the deep dish, it was fantastic! Grace our bartender was extremely hospitable and made you feel like you were at home!

Yelp
One of the many bars in the Noda area. My first time being there and enjoyed it. Just as a heads up, there are stairs. You got wine, processor, beer, food, games, and a nice atmosphere. We went around 5/6 pm on a Saturday night, so before any of the nightly activities start in this area. So idk what the bar looks like at night. My friend and I got a bottle of proseco, glasses of red wine, and special beer (cerveza). And water of course. We sat at one of the big wooden tables and it was quiet comfy. My friend ordered a pizza, I can't remember the name but it has brisket on it and it tasted like bbq. It was really good. The staff was nice and helpful in helping us pick drinks and they pick up your glasses throughout the evening. Would go back.

Yelp
This might just be my fav beer place in all of Charlotte for the simple fact they have PURPLE beer!! But, honestly this place is just awesome all around from the beer offerings to the ambiance to the incredibly cool abstract artwork murals upstairs and in the stairwell connecting down to the bottleshop! They have great beers with my fav part being how they present their flights: in beautiful cigar boxes! There's foosball and games upstairs which has a more lounge feel and really great (and sometimes rare) beer options on draught or by the btl downstairs. In any case, this is my fav beer place in NoDa!

Yelp
I had the beer shop bookmarked for a bit because, while I'm not really a beer drinker, it's been touted as one of Charlotte's must try places. What I found was even better. A little confusing to find, but a huge part of their charm, was their upstairs taproom. There's a street level entrance that I didn't see that leads you upstairs OR you can go the fun way....which is back behind the shop, down a hallway, up a couple of sets of stairs and to a dimly lit door. I likened it to feeling like Alice in Wonderland which immediately made me fall in love. The Good: so, I'm obsessed OBSESSED with off-the-beaten path not-so-obvious places and I feel like the taproom is a hidden gem. While the beer shop was awesome in its own right with a cool selection of drinks, small bar, and Michigan gear (after spending 6 years in Buckeye country I wholeheartedly say "M Go Blue!), the kicker for me was the taproom. Spacious, eclectic, moody, chill music, and an aesthetic that just fit for me. Grace was manning the whole upstairs alone and nailed it. She was very friendly and helpful despite being slammed. After letting me try a couple of the seltzers, I decided on a really nice one while my partner settled on a great IPA. Grace also sold us on the Latin Lingo pizza which was a unique flavor explosion of lime, creama, Tajin, and other goodness. The crust, which I normally do not eat, was also fantastic with a good amount of leoparding. Salud and Geno D's now occupy my pizza heart - two totally different types of pies but both exquisite in their own right. And as I mentioned, the vibe was one of the best vibes I've ever experienced. COVID protocols were kept in check with generous spacing between seats, clean everything, and masked staff. Salud is hands down my favorite spot in NoDa....maybe even Charlotte. The Meh: My night owl ass could stay there at night drinking and eating until 2 am but sadly, they close at 11. I'm sure they need the break, though so it makes sense :) The Bad: literally nothing. I think this place also operates as a coffee shop, too? There also looked to be a stage by the Lucha Libre mural - are there shows? I'm so intrigued and left wanting more and more from Salud! All in due time.....I can't wait to go back. If you're deliberating pizza, there are two choices in Charlotte - Salud or Geno D's. You're welcome.

Yelp
I am so glad to have tried this place!! The upstairs is spacious and decorated well. This spot has such different beers (their own, local spots, and out of state crafts as well), great service, and delicious food! Their pizzas are so creative and flavorful. And their wings are delicious as well! I tried the Harrisa wings (which I think might've been a special that day). They had a great flavor and kick. And the wings were cooked really well! I also had the Latin Lingo pizza and the liberation pizza. Both are very different, and so uniquely good! The craft draft list is diverse, and has a lot of good and funky flavors to try out. They also have a fridge/cooler with some great options as well.

Yelp
Solid wings and pizza go to spot for Thursday with 4.50 beers! I also love their vegan options they have buffalo cauliflower with vegan ranch that's amazing as well. Good vibes and service
