We loved this place. Wines were excellent. We had 3 starters that we shared with 4, then 4 main courses: halibut, lamb, rotini. All excellent. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. As dessert we all had the creme brulee. Service was also good. Best meal we've had all week.

Simply amazing! From the service in the parking lot to the reception, everything is very special and done with great care. The dishes are delicious and the drinks are excellent! The atmosphere is very familiar, which I love. The boss is very warm and friendly, and the waiters are grade 1000!

Great dinner at Salum. Abraham Salum is as on-point as ever! Caesar Salad, Duck Confit Cigars (VHR!) Fettucine with Squid Ink. Deconstructed Beef Wellington. All great with a glass of Mt. Eden Chardonnay (RIP Randy Romig), and Montes Alpha Pinot Noir. Than you for the great service, Rachel!

The food and service cannot be beat. Every bite was delicious and scrumptious. The goat cheese appetizer was amazing. The pate was perfect. I want to come back and try the fried green tomatoes! I had the lamb and it came on top of a mushroom bread pudding with a epic gravy. The champagne hit the spot too. For dessert we devoured the apple crisp and Crème brûlée. We can’t wait to return.

Very nice ambiance! Was not very hungry so just had the burger with bacon, portobello mushroom, and cheese. It was good. Not the best but decent. I would like to go back and try some other things. The beef and barley soup was tasty but there was no beef in the soup. Tasty but would have liked some beef in there. The rest of the party enjoyed their food and drinks so I wouldn't base the experience from my order alone. I would recommend this place however.

I went back to Salum Restaurant in Uptown Dallas for a late lunch with my sister and niece who were in town from New York City and they absolutely loved it. I had dined at Salum but really wanted to try their lunch since I've heard great things about it. Abraham's cuisine is second to none in North Texas and I believe among the best anywhere. Food is amazing, service is impeccable and the open kitchen to the dining room provides great ambience. We will definitely keep coming back to try new additions to the menu. Totally worth the drive from north Plano!

Went to Salum for dinner a few nights ago. I am someone that eats out quite a bit and loves quality food. I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in DFW and I can not express the quality and service that I received at Salum. It was out of this world. Owner and Chef Abraham is extremely involved in his restaurant and walks around interacting with guests and making sure everyone is enjoying everything they have received. They have a open kitchen concept and Chef Abraham watches every dish as it comes out to make sure it is correct and presentable. Also our server was amazing. He was professional and attentive without being overbearing which is a talent many people don't realize. The food was amazing. I had the Lamb Chops and the Duck Confit' and there was nothing left to be wanted. Both dishes were amazing. My guests had the burger (which is blended with filet) and loved it and another guest had the salmon and said it was one of the best pieces of fish she has ever had. Also, the bread pudding is unreal. Try it with a house made cappuccino. Great ending to the night. Salum is a mildly hidden gem, as it deserves to be one of Dallas's top restaurants. I wish nothing but success and fortune to Chef Abraham and look forward to my next visit back.

What a pleasure it was to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Salum dining on gourmet cuisine that first appeared on the menu years ago, including my scrumptious entree of pan-seared scallops dating back to its debut in 2008! The service was attentive as always in an atmosphere of refined sophistication. Congrats to Chef Abraham on this well deserved milestone, and here’s to the next 20 years! Cheers!!

I absolutely love this place. I've been out of the state for two months and getting back today. This is the first place I went to eat. It's that good. Had the fried chicken livers, they were absolutely sublime. Definitely will order those again.

Service was excellent. They're very attentive and were so kind to help when we side-eyed a few things on food We had heard the fish & chips were amazing here so decided to come for that. Each plate came out overcooked but they quickly took it back to the kitchen and replaced it when we asked about it. Filet mignon was good, but the chimichurri really took it to the next level. And the potatoes on the side were so good!! The salmon was a bit more undercooked than I would have preferred (make sure to tell them how you'd like it cooked if they don't ask) and the orzo/tomatoes that came with it were flavorful and tasted good. Ambiance is nice, but I wish the restaurant had been more busy. Probably our fault though since we came on a Wednesday! I bet this is a nice place on the weekend!

This is another restaurant in a weird spot that I would mistake for an office space, but that has a charming interior. The acoutics were not great and the cacophony of sound from the full house of diners was a bit deafening. Server, Travis, was great from start to finish, and answered all questions about the menu and also took care of a major issue with my halibut dish that was so loaded with salt that it was impossible to eat. When I mentioned it, he addressed it right away and switched it for a pappardelle dish that was great. Other standout dishes were the paella, tater tots with caviar, and the fried green tomatoes. We tried the Country pate, and that was good, but it just didn't wow us. I would avoid the halibut because of the massive amount of salt. We loved the cocktails that we had, Pink Panther, Black Manhattan and the Elderflower Old Fashioned. Additionally , we got a nice bottle of Montes Alpha . They have a very nice selection of wines and there will be something for everyone. A great spot for Dallas dining.

Never a bad meal or experience at Salum. Ambiance, service, and food are always perfect. I appreciate that they are willing to split entrees and do the plating in the back for a nominal charge so we don't have to deal with it at the table. If nothing else it makes for better looking review photos! Today's special was "surf & turf": Pan seared halibut with grilled beef tenderloin. Also had the grilled octopus appetizer. Delicious! Don't just "consider dining here"... DO IT!

I'm notorious for holding grudges against popular restaurants in Dallas. For eateries that I've frequented which have gained a reputation for their menu, ambience, or simply the place to see and be seen and they've been around long enough, sooner or later, they'll do something to raise my ire. And when they do, there's a good chance that I'll never darken their door again. It might be that one night of neglectful service (that's the big one) or reservations that really mean an hour wait or being seated next to the kitchen after they previously promised a specific table. I could rattle off a list of joints that most people love that I've learned to hate. However, for Salum, despite being open for over 15 years and dozens of visits that I've made since they first threw open the doors, I've always had a consistently great experience. They've never landed on my naughty list. Salum's easy on the eyes with a full bar and an open kitchen. It's perhaps a twenty-table affair, give or take. The crowd has generally been a little tony...maybe due to it's location close to the Park Cities. The menu is characterized as American contemporary with a selection of small plates, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. I've never been dissatisfied with a dish; my last selection was a baked Moroccan Chicken over roasted vegetables and saffron yoghurt. It was a hit. Service is prompt and I can't recall a flaw that I can remember when I put on the ole thinking cap. Parking is a little tight, but they have valet (at least when we've been there), so why do you care? Perhaps, one of the best endorsements for the joint was recently heard from one of the valet attendants who indicated they've never heard a complaint from a guest. So two thumbs up for Salum. I'd give it three, but for some reason, I'm limited to just the two.

I don't normally write reviews about a wedge salad, but I had a really good wedge salad today. I didn't take photos, but I wish I had. I really like the dressing and the fact that it wasn't too creamy. I love a good creamy blue cheese but this one being a little sinner it coded nearly all the layers of the lettuce perfectly versus me having to cut the whole thing up and mix it together the pancetta was delicious and I like the blue cheese that had some tangy flavor, but wasn't overbearing to the salad the shrimp was a nice addition too. It's now been four hours since I have my wedge salad and I'm still thinking about it

If you are looking for an exceptional dining experience in a casual-yet-elegant setting, this is your place. Chef/owner Abraham Salum changes the menu monthly, serving up creative continental cuisine for every taste. On a recent visit, two friends and I eagerly shared samples from each other's plates, indulging in the Texas goat cheese and house made pate appetizers, followed by seared scallops over lentil purée, pan roasted halibut with pesto Parmesan risotto, and the most tender and flavorful pork cheeks braised with beer and molasses one could want. Kicking myself for not snapping pics during dinner, but definitely save room for dessert. The peanut butter crème brûlée was beyond heavenly! The cozy, uptown restaurant is equally suitable for a business dinner or date night. Highly recommend.

I love everything about Salum. The service is top notch and doting without feeling too much presence, the cozy ambiance and the food were spot on. Good ole standby but perfect for special occasions too

This restaurant is quickly becoming my family's go-to for special occasions. Everything we've had there has been DIVINE: the lamb, the fish, the soups, the pastas, and the best gluten-free burgers I've ever had! Last night, I got the steak frites, and it was like a poem in my mouth. Plus great ambiance and excellent service. You can't go wrong eating here!

Had Saturday night dinner. We were running late for our reservation because of a road closure and we called to tell them and they were so gracious and accommodating. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful - she recommended a vegetarian dish not on the menu for me. The food was delicious. The noise level was low despite the restaurant being filled to capacity. Will definitely return.

Appetizer of fried green tomatoes stuffed with crab was quite tasty. Mains - was a mixed review. The scallops were amazing - buttery delicate morsels. But they were sitting on dirt. Ok, it was actually lentils and corn. But to say they didn't pair well with the scallops is an understatement. Might be fine in their own if they'd been seasoned but as they were they were very bland. The lamb was horribly overcooked. So sad! Pretty dry and again they were not well seasoned. But the mushroom bread pudding was divine!! I could have eaten three and been happy. It was certainly the highlight of the meal!! Side dish we tried was risotto. The risotto itself was pretty good - creamy and perfectly cooked. But served with black beans and not even a hint of herbs... or butter... or shallots or even enough salt. Very underwhelming! I've had better beans and rice at a cheap Mexican restaurant! Dessert was ok but quite pedestrian. Brownies with dried cherries and a tiny scoop of ice cream. Service was stellar!! Overall, I was very disappointed considering the reviews I'd heard and the price point. No alcohol and the tab for 2 was over $130. I would not go back again. I can think of many places I could get a better meal, with better seasoned food and better combinations of flavors!

I called ahead to see if reservations were needed because it was already 9pm. The lady that answered the phone was very nice. We arrived 15 minutes later, and she sat us quickly. I was skeptical about how the food would taste, but the menu offered enough for me to eat. I have a lot of food allergies. We ordered the fried green tomatoes. They were stuffed with crab and topped with a red pepper remoulade. It wasn't my favorite item because it lacked flavor. The mussels, however, were delicious. I got them as a main; they were topped with crispy potato strings and were full of flavor. My husband enjoyed the beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes. We were both pleasantly surprised. I like strong tasty drinks, and the Ward Eight didn't disappoint. I had 2. We ended dinner with carrot cake. It was ok. Definitely could have been more moist. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I didn't take any pics, sorry.

One of the best meals I had this past year. I actually won a gift card here through a contest and went in with almost no expectations. We literally looked up the menu on the way to the restaurant. We were running late so we called and the person who answered the phone was so kind and understanding. I believe the person who sat us was the executive chef and I couldn't believe it, he was so friendly and personable that just set the tone for the whole evening. The outside of the restaurant did have me a bit nervous it just looked like a regular parking lot but I stepped inside and immediately felt welcomed. The lighting was dim and warm which created an intimate atmosphere that was perfect for our date night. I would consider this a smaller restaurant but I think that's what they're going for and I enjoyed it. We started off with the fried green tomatoes, I've only had them in a fast food type setting so I was very pleased to see these. They were a much larger (full tomato slice) portion with a generous amount of coating which gave them a wonderful crunch, the remoulade was so good! I forget the cocktails we tried but altogether we had three and we're very happy (and buzzed) with them. For entree I had the rack of lamb, I've never had lamb before and decided to go for it and it was a great choice, very juicy and tender. The mushroom bread pudding that came with it was stellar, I'd eat that all on its own. My wife had the halibut and seemed to enjoy it as well. Although we were stuffed we still ordered dessert. The bourbon bread pudding was delicious, I especially liked the additions of chocolate mousse and crème anglaise to compliment it were perfection.

Group of 13, business dinner. First time visit. Beautiful space, genuine hospitality. Told myself I would NOT eat any bread as I am trying to reduce my carb intake. Well...when that homemade warm bread arrived with perfect unsalted butter, I devoured mine. Memorable evening with multiple shared appetizers including mussels, a personal favorite. Perfectly cooked Halibut with ...yes! Fiddleheads! Tomato basil soup which was outstanding. Dessert. Wayyy too full until our table ordered the creme brûlée & bread pudding. All of a sudden I had plenty of room for dessert. Save room for dessert. Always great to support an independent restaurant owner. So much talent here. What a treat!!

Had a wonderful dinner here last night. The atmosphere is beautiful. We felt so welcome when we arrived. Our waiter was so sweet and accommodating. We start with the goat cheese and roasted garlic. I had salmon and my date has the chicken. They said it was delicious in its mole sauce. I loved my salmon. Just a great meal.

We dined here on a Tuesday night with a last minute reservation, and we had an excellent time! What we got: - oysters rockefeller (Baked Spinach, Herbs, Pernod and Breadcrumbs): very delicious! we're usually not fans of fried oysters, but this one was done very nicely. - serrano caprese (Tomato, fresh mozzarella, serrano ham, balsamic and olive oil or pesto): we asked this salad to be split, and they did so, perfectly! The salad looked great even when it had been split into two, topped with the right amount of greens on a pretty, large slice of tomato. - Australian rack of lamb (Dijon truffle crust, mushroom bread pudding): SOOO GOOD! one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. definitely recommend getting this! - pan-seared scallops (Corn and Green Lentil Pilaf, Saffron Sofrito): a little too salty. scallops were seasoned very well, but it was unfortunate that the toppings made it a little too salty. - marble potato and crab hash: pretty good if you're into taters! - creme brulee: very good caramelization. enjoyed! - bottle of red (Laborum cabernet sauvignon from Argentina) Absolutely loved the service we received here. From beginning to end, excellent. Good attention to detail. Great timing of dishes so that we never felt forgotten. Thank you for an amazing date night experience!

A truly memorable birthday dinner date night right before Christmas. (And you'd think all of those factors put into one night would make your head explode) Mussels have been the perfect starter for us especially on these colder nights. There was a special for the day, a noodle dish, which my significant other absolutely adored. The only real drawback is that the name leaves me. One thing I will forever love about Dallas is the parking situation. You can get great meals, great service, and great conversation, all without having to pay for parking.

Had the great fortune to have dinner here again with friends and family and as always they do not disappoint. The service, the atmosphere and the food are all top notch. You f you're looking for good meal in a great ambiance then you need to visit Salum. Make sure you try the mussels and ask for Mary; she'll take excellent care of you.

Great restaurant, unique menu, but the chef has an issue with sodium. I'm not sensitive to salt, but the appetizer and entrees were over salted. Hopefully this is a chef issue due to covid.

Another unfortunate Dallas restaurant that looks good on paper, but if you are a true foodie, stay away. Whoever is giving this place five star reviews either has the palette of a 90 year old or has never truly experienced fine dining. The menu was over engineered, under inspired, over priced, and out of season. Fried green tomatoes in February? No thanks. We ordered the baked chipotle butter oysters. These were clearly previously frozen. The bread crumb topping was soggy, and there was no chipotle to be found. Where was the heat? The smoke? Also the plating was so 2006. Why were my oysters served on flat glass rocks? So many questions. We also ordered Caesar salad. It was mediocre at best. Limp romaine and croutons that very obviously came out of a bag and a Parmesan crisp that definitely was not made in house either. For the mains. I ordered a $38 swordfish au poivre accompanied by polenta and broccolini. Everything on my plate was over salted, especially the brandy peppercorn sauce. The chef/owner was so nice but he has clearly become complacent in his menu design. It's a super cool spot that has a lot of potential, and I really hope he takes this review to heart.

I took some of my team for a birthday lunch on Monday afternoon and it was truly a great experience. In an age where you get accustomed to restaurants that don't pay attention to details, Salum reminded us of why we like going out to eat. Our waiter was very attentive to what was going on at our table and we never had to ask for refills but it's also important to acknowledge that he wasn't overbearing. While we didn't share an appetizers, the table ordered almost all identical items for an entree. The two entrees were the Fusili Stroganoff and the Steak with fries. Both meals were fantastic with both steaks being served at the correct temperatures and they made substitutions for the side with no issues. (Did I mention that the fries actually came out hot and not warm/soggy!) The stroganoff was a beautiful presentation and the two picky eaters devoured both dishes. I'll definitely be heading back to Salum with friends and employees again, very soon.

It's hard to be impressed here. Food was good - prices were astronomical. I got the feeling that it was the Wed b team in the kitchen. The sauce for my coq au vin was laking acid and over-salted. The rest of the table dishes were - adequate - bill $350 for 4. Hard to be impressed. Service was good - ambiance was OK.

Every now and again the stars align and I have an amazing meal. That's what happened tonight. The ambiance of Salum is both comfortably modern and classy. Service was attentive and charming (Rachel). I started with a cream of mushroom soup that was at once flavorful and creamy. Along with my soup came both olive rolls and French rolls--both magically delicious. The iced tea happened to be chai, a wonderfully savory flavor. So far an excellent meal. The space is a tad bit loud with cement floors and a high ceiling. The kitchen is open and at the far end of the space, and the chefs were having fun with their jobs. I was nervous when I first pulled up because it's located in a strip mall, but no cause for alarm the food is world class. Lastly, I had the filet mignon, cooked perfectly. It was flavorful and sat atop a bed of diced potatoes in a mint pesto sauce. The steak was garnished with 4 asparagus. This was my favorite meal in a very long time. I love this place.

Fabulous! Can't wait to come back with our husbands. My sister and I went for dinner and everything was amazing. We went on a Friday night (and it was St. Patrick's Day) and it wasn't crowded. They told us usually it is a good idea to make reservations on a Friday or Saturday night, but last night it wasn't crowded because it was also Spring Break. I started out with the sweet potato bisque-it was delicious! My sister had the house salad, very good too! We both had the red fish as our main entree prepared with chickpeas and Kale. LOVED it! The servers were very attentive. The chef and owner came out and chatted with us. Our waiter told us they change the menu monthly-I like that! We will definitely be back!

For our first date night indoors in over a year, we chose Salum, a favorite. She had the lamb chops (perfect), and I ordered the Berkshire pork chop. It came out very overcooked, so since my wife had her food, I switched to the braised chicken. It still took over 20 minutes, so we didn't eat together. I get it. With Covid, margins are tighter than ever. But our bill was $226. With tip, $276+. I waited more than 40 minutes to eat, didn't eat with my wife, and paid full price. That sucked. So you get 1 star.

Have eaten here in the past and always enjoyed it but this time not so much. Went for my birthday dinner on a Friday night. I ordered fish and chips, my companions ordered pan roasted grouper and a fish special. The "beer battered fish filet" was a joke. A heavy, tough coating surrounded pieces of fish that were the the size of a cigarette. They looked more like corn dogs than fish filets! The fish special was bland and tasteless. The roasted grouper was okay but not outstanding. We had a special house made chocolate cake for dessert that was the best part of the meal. We always tip at least 20% because the servers aren't to blame but all told, this meal was expensive and disappointing!

Hats off to the chef!! Zach and I came here for lunch a few days ago and started off with the fried green tomatoes- spoiler alert: they're stuffed with crab! Yum! The remoulade that is drizzled on top is just the right amount of savory when combined with the subtle sweetness of the pecans. I can confidently say I could eat these everyday. Definitely recommend. My mouth is watering just reminiscing of it. Zach ordered the Coq Au Vin and could not stop talking about it the entire time. Complete with "Try this! Try this! You HAVE to try some." Did not regret it- the wine sauce was phenomenal and the chicken itself was succulent on its own- perfectly complimented by the wine. I ordered the beer battered cod fish. LOVE. Cod is never my first choice when ordering fish; however if it all tasted like this it truly would be. The beer batter its fried in created an immaculately porous and crispy outer crust to hold the delectable fish inside. Outstanding. Accompanied by three different sauces that pair well- you can't go wrong. Wait staff was wonderful. Great service, great portions and all around great experience. Will definitely be back.

A date-night favorite, but we've always felt welcome when we've brought our well-behaved daughter. The food and service is always great. I love that the menu changes every month, but they keep favorites and just change it up a little. Not the kind of place I would typically think of for a burger, but the burger is amazing too (and my 8 yo said it's better than her favorite fast food chain, which means a lot coming from her)!

Fantastic. Went by for lunch on a random Wednesday. Service was warm, welcoming, and highly professional. I had mussels and frites - all excellent. Restaurant has an open kitchen layout, so it was like dinner and a show for me. Chef Salum even stopped by the table; he was warm and genuine - the restaurant obviously showcases his style. Will definitely return for dinner or an occasion.

Anytime you can walk into a restaurant and feel completely welcomed, I'm in. Salum reminds me of the quaint places in New Orleans that I love. This is the kind of place where the owner is in front, back, seating patrons, washing dishes, helping with wine and serving food. I appreciate that work ethic. He was funny and personable. The wine list was fantastic and we enjoyed the many dishes we all ordered, including the berry crumble and brownie desserts. We also loved our waitress and thought she was hilarious. She somehow got our jokes and our humor. The pace was perfect. This place changes their menu monthly so there is just no reason not to go back here all the time. If I lived closer, I'd be there once a month no question.....to enjoy good food, good wine and the feeling of home.

Unassuming from the outside but great atmosphere inside. Wait staff was attentive and informative. My My water glass was always filled. The dirty martini was a good start! My mussels was exquisite and packed with flavor. The barramundi with quinoa was AMAZING. Wrapped up the meal with the lemon with fresh blueberry cake. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice, intimate dining experience.

We recently dined here and had a great time. The service was professional and friendly. Patriots appetizer was good. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Cocktails were also very tasty.

If you're looking for a romantic, intimate spot for date night, you can't do much better than Salum. The interior is small, elegant and the kitchen is completely open to the dining room (but it's still quiet). Not on a date? Well - it's a good spot for a business dinner, or to treat yourself. I was told they are packed on the weekends but there were just a few tables on a random Wednesday night. The wine list has a nice selection of well chosen glasses (and bottles) - expect to pay $12-14 for a glass. I started with a housemade pate (yay for pate!) and loved it. There were three good sized slices, some baguette, a pile of cornichons and some sort of toasted nuts (?) and the pate was well seasoned and totally delicious. I also had a Liegeolse salad which was a lovely combo of spinach, French beans, small potatoes and a perfectly poached egg. Very filling - it was enough for a lighter dinner for me. Overall, service was friendly but not the most attentive. I think they were worried about hovering because there weren't a ton of tables maybe. Regardless, I really liked my dinner at Salum and would happily come back to try more of the tasty items on their menu.

The food is very well done and delicious. Great options that change every so often. The place feels very homey and they seem to have regulars that come often. You could spend hours here and not realize it because you are having a great time.

We heard so much about this restaurant and wanted to try it on Valentine's Day, we were running late and they still served us and the food was fabulous. We truly enjoyed the service and our delicious fish entree. We will return.

Consistent food always,service with my particular waiter wasn't so great,think it was him,in the past service has been excellent with great wait staff so I won't hold that against the establishment,but never will have him be my waiter again,

I've seen quite a few complaints about their slow service but it just makes it quite clear how uninformed those users are. First off, when you dine at Salum you're going to be exposed to a culinary experience. It's not a BJs, Claim Jumper, or Paul Martin's. All of which focus on numbers and pushing through guests. Which if that is the dining experience you enjoy, no worries! However, Salum spends an incredible amount of time perfecting the food they create. It's not just a meal to them. You're not just a random guest. They want it to be perfect. With that being said, please note that you will wait a little longer for a meal at this location because nothing here was premade to be pushed into an oven when ordered. It's made to order. Also, the owner and chef is hands-on, engaging with customers, overlooking his sous chefs. Abraham ensures your experience is incredible. Not quick. This entire dining experience is also influenced by his culture, which doesn't rush food or the meal. The idea is to enjoy and connect to your waiter and your meal. They also are very attentive to your alcoholic preferences. They can make it all. So should you be coming here note it's not just your standard meal. You're coming for an experience that is phenomenal and the way they operate may be new to you. But if you are open to a true culinary experience. You will LOVE it. It's incredibly delicious too.

I'm in love. My sweet boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner. It was a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was pretty quiet. We went for a later dinner, so there were only a few other tables seated at the restaurant. Great for an intimate romantic dinner. Atmosphere: The restaurant is beautiful. Very neutral decor with an open kitchen. The tables were beautifully arranged with white table clothes. Service: They knew who we were when we arrived. Super friendly and professional. Our server was very observant, and efficient. Food: The menu is seasonal. For starters we each had the Serrano Caprese salad with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula and a balsamic glaze. It was amazing. They also bring out a bread basket, which was fresh baked and still super hot. For my entree, I ordered a dish with Lobster, roasted potatoes and arugula. It was amazing. My boyfriend had the rack of lamb, which was amazing. For dessert, they surprised me with an apple berry crumble with a candle in it, which was so sweet. We were the last table in the restaurant and stayed and talked for a while. They did not seem to mind, and we did not feel rushed. When we left, we were thanked for coming. It was such a great experience. I want to go back to try the other items on the menu. I can see why this place is crowded on the weekends, but going on a weeknight is more my speed. I loved the intimacy.

I absolutely love this place! They do such high end work. Chef Abraham is nothing but sweet and sincere and willing to work with anyone (within reason) when it comes to catering. The food is to dieeeeee for. I love that they take pride in their presentation, service, and food quality. I can't wait to go back :)

I started with the Lobster Bisque and it was creamy, flavorful and delicious. My entree was grilled peaches over fried chicken. The sweetness of the peaches over the fried chicken was great. I like sweet and savory together. The entire experience was wonderful.

Our favorite restaurant in Dallas. Always the best food and service. Recently had their fried chicken and burger, and they are the best we have ever had. Chef Abraham Salum walks around the dining area making sure everything is perfect. You can taste his love of cooking and this restaurant in every dish.

The food and the service are impeccable! I really like the atmosphere. I enjoy the variety in the menu and the fact that he changes quite often. The staff is always friendly and the owner is there to ensure things are well taken care of.

Loved the atmosphere, waitress was really nice. We had the empanadas and the caprese to start and they had no flavor. My husband ordered the redfish, it was really good with lots of flavor, I had the beef stroganoff and it had absolutely no flavor. So disappointing, we had such high hopes. If you like food with rich flavor, don't eat here

I'm in the middle with this establishment. If I had to get up next morning and had to drink full bottle of water due to saltiness of the Risotto served, It's a no. It was a restaurant week, yahoo! I love this time of the year because we get to try tone of new restaurants and their best food selection and review about it. Restaurant usually pride themselves with their menu selections during this time. The Salum had very nice atmosphere, great front service, and overall clean. Table setting was luxurious, sophisticated menu selections. New American Style Foods. Simple decor and interior. I like that. Server was very calm, but I can't help but to notice, that this place maybe under staffed. I didn't care much for the empanada appetizer, it didn't seem that much special, but I really liked the pesto sauce it came with. I also ordered the Texas Goat Cheese with Roasted elephant garlic(giant!) with baguette. And I tried the Pan Seared Rainbow Trout on a Parmesan sage risotto. Perfectly cooked Rainbow Trout, but the Risotto was too salty overall, Appetizer - Shrimp Risotto had the same effect, too salty. Risotto was just too salty. Small details matter. I know in Spain, if you serve a guest with chipped plate or butter container, it may mean you are a special guest, but I don't think that applies to Dallas High End Restaurants. I'd definitely watch out for the chipped plates and containers served to guest, it just doesn't look fancy for a high priced establishment. Overall, the experience was good. Compared to other high end restaurants I've been to, the place is a 3 star for me because of those two facts, salty risotto, chipped plate.

The best meal I've had in Dallas. Period. Great service. the fried green tomato appetizer, with crab filling, was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Add a third tomato or a side dish and it would make a great entree. Pricier than we normally want to spend, so we won't go often but when we do we will be in love.

Highly recommended dining experience!! Friendly staff, open kitchen and amazing drinks. The chef goes to the market daily and pick up fresh food!!! The menu changes monthly with what is in season. Love this about Abraham Salum! They also offer in-home private catering parties and corporate events. Excellent staff from start to finish while in your home.
