The 14 Best New Restaurants in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County | Eater Miami

"After running Bice on Palm Beach island for the last several years, Raffaele Ruggeri, grandson of the restaurant’s founders, has gone into expansion mode. He opened the upbeat Cafe Med in West Palm in May and in January premiered this elegant room in chocolate and navy tones, with intimate booths and a back garden. It looks like a ristorante in Milan and wins over diners from the outset with a cart displaying a wide variety of top olive oils and balsamic vinegars, including aged reductions. A selection of crudos and carpaccios includes langoustines with apple tartar and white sturgeon caviar. Among the appetizers is fragrant zucchini flan with Castelmagno fonduta and truffles. Pillows of ravioli are filled with snow crab, potato, and ricotta. Veal comes almond-crusted, while king salmon arrives with melted fennel and blood orange." - Beth Landman

This was the most delicious burger I’ve ever had! 🍔 I truly enjoyed the restaurant and its cozy atmosphere. Special thanks to Michelle — she was so kind, attentive, and lovely. And a huge shoutout to the chef — a true professional, and it was a pleasure talking with him. The food was outstanding, beautifully served, and the whole experience felt warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back. My husband and I had a great evening — relaxed, enjoyed our dinner, and had a wonderful time. 💛

Love this place. Food was good, service is excellent, loved the band they are awesome , staff is very friendly , I always love when you receive a warm welcome. The chef was very accommodating with my dish, I asked to customize my dish. Overall is good times with friends. Sitting outdoors is awesome listening to the band and see people dance. 💃🏾

We came with a party of 4. 2 got short ribs super yum 1 got sandwich I got the burger and devil eggs 🤤 The desserts were not my favorite. The bread pudding was a big disappointment. Just burnt bread with sugar on it and my friend got the pumpkin Cheesecake. It was ok. Don’t come for the dessert not good . Good food. With 2 entrees, 1 starter, 1 dessert and 2 bottle waters over. $100

Google
Salute Market never fails. I was lucky enough to make it to disco night, and they did not disappoint. From the great music to the food and drinks, everything was on point. To top it off, the manager walked around checking on every table to make sure all was well. An amazing experience all around.

Google
What a surprise gem! We went to Salute Market expecting a great meal—and we definitely got that—but we didn’t expect such a fun, energetic vibe too. The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the goat cheese stuffed dates (a must-try!), and the antipasto, which paired perfectly with my Flying Fig cocktail—so smooth and flavorful. My boyfriend couldn’t stop raving about the caprese salad. Every dish was fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. The crowd was a nice mix of ages, and best of all—no kids. It made for a relaxed but lively evening. The biggest surprise was the DJ and dance floor. The whole place was up dancing! I wasn’t expecting that kind of energy, but it turned out to be the highlight of our night. If you’re looking for somewhere with great food, delicious cocktails, and unexpectedly fun nightlife energy, Salute Market delivers.

Google
I had my daughter’s baby shower there today. A very big deal as it’s my first grandchild! Michelle, the owner , assured me repeatedly that everything would be great. Well you know what? It absolutely was!! She is a true small business owner who stands by her word and is proud of her business. Everything was perfect, food, ambiance , service and most importantly, her employees were outstanding. By the end of day, I felt like I found new family members! Highly recommend if true integrity and hardworking people are important to you! Salute made this memory perfect! Thank you all!

Yelp
We went to Salute for the happy hour and had the best time! The flatbreads were a great price and were so yummy. They weren't too oily or overwhelming. My partner and I shared both of them and were full. Definitely filling. The service was great. We sat at the bar with the staff and they were so nice and friendly. The ambiance was clean and new as of a year I believe.

Yelp
Just fine. Service was okay, had to ask for drink refills and plates, etc Special appetizer was delicious... Chicken saltimbocca was so salty it was inedible. Salmon succotash had good flavor, but salmon was overcooked. Sent back the chicken dish for Prosciutto sandwich, it was better. Bread pudding dessert was a great ending to an average meal. Maybe it was an off night, would come back to try some different items on the menu.

Yelp
We don't usually order wine and cheese - we do order the outstanding charcuterie with wine (or with JP's amazing Old Fashioned). The selection on the charcuterie board is always extensive and delicious. The wine selection is broad and deep. Everyone on the staff is great - friendly and helpful - from Dom, the manager, to the bartenders and servers. Seating options are plentiful, from the indoor and outdoor bars, the large patio and the indoor dining rooms.

Yelp
Last weekend was my first visit to Salute Market in a few years. The food was equally as amazing as I recall. i used to visit with friends for HH or wine tastings. Being I barely drink nowadays, Salute fell off my radar but it is back on now. I went for a GNO and it was disco night! Such a fun time and a great crowd. The host along with management were superb with seating us and checking in our needs. The server was friendly but not very accessible and we waited long periods of time. Fortunately, we enjoyed each other's company and were catching up but this could be problematic for others dining. All in all, we had a great time and our meals were great. The gals enjoyed their cocktails and I enjoyed my mocktail. The music was lit and I will absolutely return.

Yelp
This is our go to restaurant! Staff is great, food is always fantastic, service is always great! Great selections of cocktails and the bartenders are awesome. Can't say enough good things about Salute and the menu! Highly recommended! Outside bar and seating is always great during this time of year!

Yelp
Excellent food, service, atmosphere, and happy hour! Manager had refunded me more than the waitress had accidentally overcharged me!

Florence S.

Yelp
We came back tonight for the second time in a week and we are going back tomorrow. The service is excellent. Dominic is a great manager/maitre'd. Our meal was excellent. The pasta with Turkey Bolognese is the best ever. I would also recommend the Caesar Salad and Bread Pudding.
google avatar

Kristen D.

Yelp
Great lunch! Jason provided amazing service and help with menu choices. The bartender created an amazing off the menu drink that was to die for! Will be back!

Yelp
Went here tonight with my wife and daughter. Beautiful night and sat outside with a view of the entertainment. We ordered some drinks and I highly recommend their Tito's lemonade with muddled blackberries, delicious. We shared several dishes. Greek salad, roasted vegetables with salmon, marquerita flatbread and shrimp francese. All were great and plenty for the 3 of us. Prices on both drinks and food is very reasonable. Throw in the great ambience and entertainment and what's not to like.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent all around. The food is delightful. The mushroom naan with fig is wonderful. Try the shrimp francaise or the pan-seared duck finish with the vanilla bourbon bread pudding Carmine is a lovely server.

Yelp
Had the brunch today. My wife and I seldom come on Saturday as we are working. Had. Delicious hash with soft egg. Great. The egg just flows into the hash Mary had the avacado toast and was well presented. Commented on how the avacado was sliced and placed in the toast Will try again soon All around good food and service

Yelp
We had a great meal here with friends. We'd made reservations and, on a weekend, I'd highly suggest you do the same as they were packed. We got there a bit early to discover that they had a happy hour in effect until 6 pm. We made sure to order drinks first while waiting for our friends to arrive. Luckily, they also came a bit early and were able to take advantage of the happy hour selections. The happy hour includes a small list of items that are marked on the menu. They are half priced. And drinks are at a discount as well. We started by sharing some of their deviled eggs. There were five to the order and they were topped with a delicious bacon "jam". We'd definitely get these again. We also shared several of their naan flat breads. We got their chicken barbecue one which was quite good. They got two different ones -- one with sausage (very good) and the margherita with fresh tomatoes and some cheese. The margherita was the only disappointment as it was fairly plain and quite bland. In addition, I ordered their hearts of palm salad from their regular menu. This dish was excellent with slices of palm, two types of black olives (one marinated; one not), cherry tomatoes cut in half, cucumbers, and tear shaped yellow and red tiny, sweet peppers. The salad was a lot after all the other options, but I was more than happy to bring half home for a later meal. For dessert, our friends shared the bread pudding. I'm not a fan of this type of dessert, but I did take a small taste and it was one of the better versions. They really liked it. Service was good, even with a couple minor glitches. And everyone was pleasant and friendly. We sat inside. We preferred this on a very hot night, and we had a low topped table. There is another inside wine room that has all high-topped tables. Outside around another bar (their 3rd one), the area was packed with people and the live music which began a bit later was quite loud. I'd definitely and "happily" come back here again -- especially for happy hour.

Yelp
Great spot with a killer happy hour vibe. Great drink specials and food menu is amazing for $$. Great spot to hit up with friends.
google avatar

Nina J.

Yelp
One of my top favorite bottomless mimosa brunch spots. They have a great atmosphere with usually a fun band playing on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The price is just perfect! And let me tell you the avocado naan is so super delicious. The staff is always super friendly as well and super quick to fill up your cup if your mimosa is running low as well as give alternative bottomless options. Salute market has become a regular spot for my friends and I now for brunch!

Yelp
Came to Salute for happy hour with a few coworkers. Our waiter was a tall gentleman with tattoos. He was attentive without being overbearing and recommended items on the menu when asked. Restaurant looks on the smallish side but not small enough to be considered intimate. I had the deviled eggs and they were ok 3/5 but I think they tore my stomach up later, that might be tmi. I ordered the spinach and artichoke naan as well as the Mt Fuji Apple Martini. The drink was good, the naan was ok! They had a pretty nice crowd, I came around the holidays and they had what appeared to be a good size work party dining. Service was good, hostesses were friendly. I'm not anti-returning but I can't see Salute on permanent rotation, the quest for the perfect HH spot continues.

Yelp
Visited the area from NJ and this place was close to where I was staying so decided to check it out and everything was amazing They had a Flavor Palm Beach special where you get 3 small plates for $40 and it was definitely worth it! I ordered the beet salad salmon pattys and the black garlic smash sliders and I was stuffed! everything was 10 out of 10 the sliders were def my favorite! The drinks here are just as good had the lavender lemons drop martini and a lychee martini and they did not disappoint! I also ordered the bread pudding which was good maybe a little sweeter than I would like but def good! JP was bartender/ server and he was the best. Very attentive and friendly. Cute place would visit often if I was from town.

Yelp
Amazing food, outstanding service, delicious drinks, and live music that set the perfect vibe! Every part of the experience was top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great time!

Yelp
A pleasant and enjoyable meal here with friends and we got to take advantage of the Happy Hour food and drink offerings. We sat inside and ordered half off drinks while trying to decide on the HH appetizers featured. We started with the Bacon jam Deviled eggs, (5 egg halves), and several of the Naan flat breads. The Chicken BBQ was very good. The sausage naan was good, but the Margherita naan fell short of expectations. My wife also ordered the Hearts of Palm Salad which she enjoyed and had enough left over to bring home. We shared a Bread Pudding dessert which was very good. This place has a very good Happy Hour offering that is popular with the locals and worthy of repeat visits. (Note: Valet Parking is available, parking can be challenging the later you come as there are several other food venues in the adjoining facilities.)

Shaw C.

Yelp
I asked Jason for some honey mustard, and without missing a beat he went back and whipped some up for me. When he brought it to the table he let me know that they didn't have any, but that he made some. It's really neat that he used this as an opportunity to go above and beyond for us. It's these little things that all add up to an exceptional evening. Thanks for that little extra service, Jason!

Yelp
Second time visit and both were good. Nice happy hour menu, the black diamonded items on menu indicate happy hour item. Good nan pizzas and the hummus plate very tasty. Outside and inside seating available. Open and valet parking.

Victoria R.

Yelp
The food is so delicious here especially the Braised Short Rib. The service is awesome. Luisa is the best!! If you love Chardonnay you should definitely try the Talbott.

Adeli M.

Yelp
First time visiting and we'll definitely be back. Easy location, plenty of parking. Two bar areas (indoor and outdoor) as well as table options inside or outside. We chose to sit at a high top in the indoor bar area. The bartenders handled our table and were attentive and quick. We had drinks we both enjoyed (lavender martini and fig cosmo for me, black walnut old fashioned for him) and shared the Mediterranean appetizer which included black bean hummus and classic hummus, both of which were tasty. I tried a meal off of their temporary Asian inspired menu, the Mongolian chicken. The flavor was good, but the chicken was slightly on the dry side. My boyfriend had a burger and said it was good, too. We went during happy hour so our drinks and appetizer were discounted nicely, too. We'll definitely be back to try some more items.
google avatar

Jerome C.

Yelp
Had a very pleasant and enjoyable meal here with friends and we got to take advantage of happy hour for 1 drink. Our fault for getting there as happy hour was ending. We sat inside because we were there to hear the guitar player. The outside area looked fantastic as well. We started with the Bacon jam Deviled eggs, (5 egg halves) which were excellent. My date ordered the Ahi tuna Poke which was delicious (if a bit pricey) I had the burger which was just fine. We both ordered wine. Chardonnay for her, Rose' for me. The wine is a bit pricey off happy hour. This place looks to have a very good Happy Hour. We'll definitely be back but earlier next time.

Adriana C.

Yelp
Very disappointed with food quality, Cobb salad $24 and it looked like a side salad not enough ingredients, little bits of chicken just nothing for the money felt ripped off; the meatballs taste like flour and you can't tell what kind of meat is in them. You really need quality control and to review what other places charging your prices are offering. I could have had an amazing salad at Alexander's and real meatballs somewhere else. The 3 stars are for the service we got from waiter he was really nice and very prompt.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
Came for happy hour and was shocked on how dead the place was. The service and food were good, but if you're looking for a lively happy hour, I'm not sure this is the place. I had the hummus platter that was on happy hour, and I had plenty to take home. The bartender was accommodating with substituting the pita for veggies.

M S.

Yelp
The best experience At Salute, always a great time and the service is top notch!!! Thank you Carmine and Dom, you made our party even more fun with your service and personality!!!!
google avatar

Robin B.

Yelp
We're visiting from out of town. We sat inside for dinner and the place was busy but service was excellent. Food was amazing - I had roasted vegetable platter with chicken and my hubbie had the burger with potato salad. He was blown away by how delicious the potato salad was. My veggie dish sounded like it might be plain, but it wasn't. Our server was Stevie G who was attentive and friendly. We liked the live music outside but it did make things a little loud even inside, but we just might be old.
google avatar

Keren A.

Yelp
We went on a Sunday and the Honda classic was going on so they were busy. With that said, we were seated promptly. Waited for like 10 minutes and then flagged down a waitress and asked her if she could send us someone to service our table. She was nice enough to do so and bring us water while we waited for her. We then had Chloe take care of us and she was very sweet. She took our order down right away, and brought our drinks shortly thereafter. Unfortunately the bloody Mary's were really not drinkable. My husband returned his and I felt to bad I kept mine, but didn't drink it. The food was okay. We started with the deviled eggs, and truthfully the bacon saved them. If you were to remove that, they would be super bland. We have the stuffed dates, and those were awesome. The marinated olives were just olives. I have no idea what they mean with marinated, do they mean oil? Because if so, that's standard. You could just say variety of olives, because they were but marinated is a stretch. They're in their preservative of oil. It's not marinated with rosemary, juices or spices. So that was a bit misleading. I had the crab omelette and it was super yummy with real crab, not imitation crabmeat. Husband had the bowl and a friend had the pork belly waffle. They loved it. A few things caused the low star rating: 1. the bloody Mary's weren't good, hey were pretty gross to be exact it was like drinking shrimp cocktail sauce2. we waited a while before we got help, once we got food, 3. we had no silverware and food before us cooling off, 4. no condiments came with food, like ketchup, salt and pepper not on the table, so we kept having to ask and bother someone to bring to us because it wasn't there. On a positive note, they had a live DJ so it gave it a really nice party feel and made it feel lively. However, little things keep it from being a 5 star establishment.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
I really want to like this wine bar. It's conveniently located off PGA and there are always plenty of tables to choose from! The ambience is charming too. The servers are attentive enough, but I just don't love the menu. They have a great happy hour but mostly for meat free dishes and wine deals. I do enjoy their bottomless mimosas at brunch. The best dishes are their mushroom flatbread and Italian sandwich. Nothing else is really worth it. The pork belly and waffles was highly disappointing on the last visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Went to this lovely restaurant with a nice selection of wines and full bar. Christine was helping us tonight. Manager Dom stopped in several times and made sure all was perfect. Was fun to watch the silverware refresh each course. with we went with many different plates. We started with the antipasto platter, meatballs, and from the October fest menu, the stuffed cabbage. Each item was just delicious. (Only got the leftovers on the Antipasto.) :( next course came and we had the Salmon Succatash So delicious ! Schnitzel is perfectly prepared and to kinds of Naan Flatbread pizzas. Mushroom & Goat cheese and an artichoke and spinach. Wow, amazing flavors in each! It's hard to say which we liked best. Can't believe the flavors were so full on each plate. Christine made sure the glass of water was full all night and that the ones who drank wine had what they wanted thru out the dinner. It happened to be our good friends birthday tonight, so we went with a dessert. perfectly made Bread pudding, Raspberry and chocolate flavored flourless cake. Devine!

Yelp
Hospitality, Hospitality, Hospitality! I finally made it to Salute Market and I will tell you my experience is memorable. Immediately welcomed before entering, the vibe was warm. The staff so very friendly and I indulged in the deviled eggs and smoked salmon dish. The food was incredibly delicious. What was equally satisfying was how the staff graciously checked on me, catered to my dietary restrictions and accommodated my requests. I will return again and I am so very glad this restaurant is in my community.

Bart G.

Yelp
Excellent visit here for their reasonable Happy Hour. The house white wine was very tasty. We enjoyed the deviled eggs and Naan bread pizza with fig jam. Jonah was a great guide to the restaurant and the attached retail space. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, drinks and wine list. I ended up buying two bottles ( their house white was one of them ) of wine to take home. There is ample seating inside and outside. The interior is nice with vintage French and Italian advertising posters.

Amanda H.

Yelp
Our server Jason was great. Dom the manager was very nice and opened up 10 minutes early for us. The food was phenomena.
google avatar

Jomarie R.

Yelp
The food is always delish at salute! We always request Dayna for our server because she is excellent at what she does, always takes great care of us and super professional!

Robert A.

Yelp
Finally!! Living here for 4 years and found a restaurant that reminds us of the Atlanta dining scene. The food was incredible. Jason and Dom gave us the best service we've had in the area. Definitely will make this a monthly spot.
google avatar

Jackie W.

Yelp
Brunch here was amazing!!! Colby our waiter was very attentive and sweet. We had such a great experience at brunch. They have a DJ and bottomless mimosas. The food was delicious! Definitely recommend everything we ate! The chicken wrap was probably the best chicken wrap I've ever had. Short rib Benedict - need I say more? breakfast bowl was amazing as well. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Martine K.

Yelp
This was my 2nd time here for brunch and I just love it here. Super friendly staff. The music today was right next to us and a bit loud as they were having a party in the main area. It was very difficult to talk to one another. Thank God we had the food to distract us. Service was great. I started with the Strawberry Noir Martini and asked for no simple syrup. It came out and I thought... Ugh this is going to be super sweet. It was not! I thoroughly enjoyed it and had to get another one! My friend enjoyed her Titos Lemonade Stand and the guys enjoyed their bottomless Bloody Mary's. For brunch I got the Hangover Cure Hamburger and it was divine. All the ingredients worked so well together and the hamburger patty itself was one of the best I ever had. The hash Browns look lackluster, but they are tiny savory yummy cubes of potato that I couldn't get enough of. My boyfriend enjoyed his loaded breakfast bowl and my friend also enjoyed his Salmon Oscar style. They sell wines and liquor here and I looked at the wine prices and they are very competitive with say Total Wine. We are definitely going home to check our wine inventory and will be back to try dinner sometime.
google avatar

Tracey C.

Yelp
Food good, service very good w Colby! They had a singer outside that was great- we enjoyed our first visit in.

Yelp
Have been to Salute Market for lunch and brunch. Sat at the bar both times and Kayla is an awesome bartender. She makes great drinks, nice to talk to and had good suggestions on what to get. Brunch there was one of the best we've had! My husband had homemade corned beef hash that was off the charts good. I had the sausage and egg skillet that pretty much had the kitchen sink in it and it was so tasty and filling. We will definitely br back again and will check it out for dinner too!

Scott D.

Yelp
Amazing drinks and food. Service from Dom and Dayna was exceptional. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We went for lunch, never been b4. They have lots of beautiful and tasty looking cocktail, we each tried one. I had a lavender and vodka something tht was really good, our daughter had one with tequila. We each enjoyed. For lunch I had the mushroom with feta flatbread, it had fig jam and the combination of flavors were delicious and tantalizing. Another had the chicken ceasar wrap she enjoyed. Our waiter was great, helpful and efficient. The place is cute. Truly enjoyable!

Yelp
Spanish / American / French Well, I'm not really sure what the target cuisine is here but to be honest, I usually just go to the outdoor bar for cocktails and people watching. The bartenders range from great to just ok - drinks are well made to be honest, but some of the bartenders are just way more engaging than others. It is what it is and I'm not there to hang with the workers. There is a happy hour menu with some reduced price apps. I think the drinks were like $1 off but cannot remember. In any case, a great spot to watch people and have a few cocktails. The food is nothing special - not sure where all the rave reviews are from but when you get past the different presentation aspect of the food, there is nothing much to wow you. Bathrooms were clean and bright - prices were average for the location. Parking in the rear

Richard P.

Yelp
This is definitely one of my favorite spots in West Palm Beach. The menu offers a fantastic variety, along with a unique monthly feature that keeps things exciting. The food is always great, and the service is outstanding. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Only visited Salute Market for Happy Hour and I very much enjoyed the experience. There Happy Hour is four to seven in the late afternoon Tuesday through Saturday. Salute offers five-dollar house wines. Cocktails and six-dollar sangria along with house martinis. Their menu selection of Tapas is creative along with their entrée selection. Salute does offer a wonderful selection of wine. There were a few small production wine bottles on their shelf which was a quite impressive. We enjoyed tapas and cocktails along with hummus and pretzel breadsticks.

Yelp
First at all, I have to start this review with "cudos" to our server. For a long time we didn't have so good server. Besides that It appears the restaurant hired young motivated people as a hosts or greeters who really welcomed us to premise. Seating outside on the beautiful evening talks about ambience. It was a happy hour and portions were generous and food delicious. It's a place to come back.

Joy K.

Yelp
Went for lunch. One person had a burger, bottle of water, 2 nd person , Caesar Salad with shrimp ( I think), one black coffee. With top over approx $100.00. I eat out at fine restaurants quite often. However, $100 with top to me is outrageous. The burger I was told was amazing , Caesar Salad was just that. Sorry I've paid over $400 with tip for dinner for 2 , no alcohol. This lunch price to me was ridiculous enough for me to not go back. Food A- , service B, price F.

Yelp
Amazing Restaurant!! my husband and I went to Salute Market today after playing golf over the weekend at PGA National. What an incredible place with amazing service and food!! We were greeted by one of the managers, Dom, who personally took care of us and made sure we got a great table. The service was immediate. We sat down and our server Dana was there right away and was great and didn't miss a beat taking care of us the whole time. Even though it was busy in there we didn't have any delays and the timing of the drinks, appetizers and main course were perfect!! Because it was Sunday they had a Brunch menu but we were also able to order from the regular menu. We started with the artichoke dip which was incredible!! My husband had a wonderful sandwich and I ordered a vegetarian dish which was actually the best vegetarian dish I have ever had. All around an incredible meal and wonderful experience!! Highly recommend!!

Lori R.

Yelp
This was our second visit to Salute Market. The first was for their excellent Easter Brunch. Dinner tonight was fabulous - highly recommend the Chicken Saltimbocca. The bread pudding was to die for. Dom was our server - he was fun, attentive and gave us good recommendations. Definitely going back and looking out for Dom

Yelp
Really clean nice decor...ordered the salmon from the lunch menu and it was overdone. Waiter could not have been nicer... they redid the plate and it came back PERFECT! Kudos to them! I'll definitely go back to further explore the menu!
