I’ve been coming to this place since I was a senior in high school, and now that I’m a senior in college, I thought it’d be meaningful to share my experience. First of all, the food is delicious — the side dishes are always fresh and there’s such a great variety. Dare I say, they have the best kimchi in town! Ever since they introduced the All You Can Eat (AYCE) option, I’m pretty sure they see me once every week — and that says a lot. The servers are always friendly, and no matter how busy it gets, they remain composed, polite, and respectful. I have several dietary restrictions, but they’ve always been accommodating, which I really appreciate. Another thing worth mentioning is that they’re the only AYCE restaurant I know that serves Beef Belly — my absolute favorite cut of meat. I also don’t like overly loud places, but the atmosphere here is always chill, the music isn’t too loud, and the lighting is just right. I really appreciate that, too.

My husband and I have been coming here since before they changed owners and they are still amazing. We've tried other Korean spots in Jax but nothing beats our OG spot!! We usually stick to the all you can eat but today we tried something new and I'm glad we did!! Everything is absolutely divine and they NEVER fail us ❤️ We had the Yukaejang and the Dolsot Bibimbap. Great prices for large portions. I recommend this spot to everyone I know.

The food was very tasty. However, the waitress placed the wrong order and the cook/manager "refused" to give me what I ordered and insisted that I pay for their mistake. Just plain stubborn? I ordered the Daenjang Jjiang with beef as my protein but got seafood instead. I never order seafood at none seafood restaurants because the seafood is never fresh. I could tell the fish was pre-frozen and just two clams and nothing else. NEVER AGAIN. Patrons be ware. This was an alternate to my favorite Korean Restaurant, "GangNam Korean Restaurant", who unfortunately is closed on Mondays. The surprising thing is that the waitress recognized me because I have gone here several times before. Not anymore Sam.

It's been a long time since I've been here but my mom and dad came here a lot. So we came to give a try since our go to was closed on a Monday. Located within a strip mall, plenty of parking outside. Love the atmosphere inside and the smells as you enter were wonderful. They have an all you can eat, cook at the table option but I like my meals served to me and not cook it myself. The Bento box lunch special has a lot of food. It's the same meal served for dinner. The beef and spicy pork bulgogi is the best. They over cooked the chicken after tasting my sister's plate. We also got a side of Japchae which is delicious. Also got the hot pot Bibimbap. One of my favorite meals. We are definitely regular customers here

Lots of history at this location. First place I ever had sushi and where I fell in love with Korean flavors. Under new management now so a few differences however overall glad I went back during a hometown visit.

We always have a great time at Sam Won Garden! Our go-to is the All You Can Eat Korean BBQ, and it never disappoints. 🔥 The staff is so kind and attentive—they’re quick to bring anything you need, and always make sure your grill is perfect. That kind of service makes such a difference, especially during a longer meal like KBBQ. What really sets Sam Won apart is the variety of appetizers and banchan (side dishes) included with the all-you-can-eat option. A lot of other KBBQ spots skip that or charge extra, but here you get the full experience from start to finish. It feels generous and authentic, and the flavors are always on point. Highly recommend for a fun night out with friends or family. Come hungry and ready to grill!

Food was good, the sides were different from the other Bbq. Would recommend for a dinner. Isn’t as expensive as a lot of Korean Bbq.

I took my girlfriend here on our first date about 9 years ago and we have been coming back since. It's a small family owned business that serves authentic Korean BBQ. We noticed the quantity of food has changed, but quality is top notch. Their seasonings and flavors are what make this place unique. Very spicy too and I love that! We always get the same food, but one we highly recommended is the stir fry squid. The service was good too. Very attentive and friendly servers. The atmosphere is a little dark though. Overall, I highly recommended and will be back again!

Yelp
Really solid spot for some good Korean food. The quality and taste are spot on and the prices are pretty cheap. To be fair, the portions do feel a bit smaller though. But also I'm confused about the prices because we ate lunch on Sunday, but we were charged the dinner prices. Anyways, I really want to come back for the kbbq. It just seems so much more worth, as it's only a little more expensive that a normal a la carte dish, and it's unlimited. Plus, their meat quality looks pretty good!

Yelp
I recently stopped by Sam Won Garden for lunch with a friend. We got there right when they opened, and there was plenty of available seating. They offer both KBBQ and a regular menu, and since we weren't that hungry, we decided to order off the regular menu. I got the dolsot bibimbap, which came out hot and sizzling, and my friend ordered the beef bulgogi bento box. The portions were big and definitely filling. One thing to know is that some dishes have both lunch and dinner portions--if you don't specify, they'll automatically give you the dinner portion. Service was friendly and the food hit the spot. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm craving Korean food!

Yelp
I really like this restaurant. I usually just order kimchi jjiae. But this time I decided to eat inside and have the full barbecue experience. I think they're under a new management or ownership because their prices and menu and things have changed. They're all you can eat menu is a very affordable I think it's like $27 so good! Everything was very fresh. So much food it's all you can eat lots of items to pick from. There isn't 30 something dollar option also. The restaurant is a nice size very comfortable nice scenery just all around nice restaurant definitely try it out I'll be back soon!

Yelp
This place is like the old school Korean Restaurant that everyone wants to go to. Located in a rather run down plaza, you don't think much from the outside. But food and service is solid. Food comes out fast and bubbling hot. You also come across some dishes that you don't find in a lot of other places. They do a great job of balancing flavors. So please support local and don't forget about this place. They're still cranking out awesome food :)

Yelp
We saw on Instagram that they were now doing AYCE Korean BBQ for $27-$40 so you know we had to come try it! We've been here before and the food was great! The restaurant is small but cozy. The atmosphere is very mom and pop like and all the servers are super friendly! I never have a problem with service here! You do have to cook the meats yourself here, which we love to do! When we came this time around, it was around lunchtime. Our waitress was super sweet and explained the AYCE options. Prices start at $27 and increase depending on the package tier. All the packages come with banchan (side dishes), appetizers, and meats. If you want premium meats, then the price goes up. I think the highest premium meats tier is like $40 per person. We decided on the mid level tier at like $30+ dollars. The table was set up with tongs and scissors to cut up our meats as needed. We were then given our banchan (which had kimchi, bean sprouts, broccoli, potato salad (my fav!), etc.) changed at every refill) and also dipping sauces (sesame oil and salt, soy sauce?, and ssamjang (soybean paste and gochujang). You can also ask for lettuce wraps and also rice to go alongside your meats. For the appetizers, we decided on Korean fried chicken, cheese corn, kimchi jjigae, and japchae noodles. Korean fried chicken: 8/10 - pieces were a good size, fried to a perfect crisp, and came with a gochujang dipping sauce! The flavor was good too and we enjoyed it! Wished our main dipping sauces came with gochujang though! Most restaurants provide it on the side as a condiment. Cheese corn: 9/10 - I absolutely love cheese corn and this did not disappoint! The cheese corn was sizzling and came perfectly melted! Cheese corn usually consists of mozzarella cheese, corn, butter, and some mayonnaise on a sizzling, hot plate. If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should! The corn cheese tasted creamy and you definitely get that cheese pull! It does get a bit heavy on the stomach if you eat more than one serving! Kimchi jjigae: 7/10 - my friend got this and she said it tasted really good! It's essentially a stew and has tofu, kimchi, pork or beef, scallions, etc. I love kimchi jjigae as it's a very comforting and hearty stew. Japchae: 8/10 - my friend got this and she enjoyed it very much. Japchae is stir fry glass noodles (made with potato starch) with veggies and beef strips. Meats: Beef brisket: 6.5/10 - it didn't have flavor at all and came frozen. We were a bit disappointed that the meat came frozen and not fresh. We had to dip it in our dipping sauces to get some flavor. Pork jowl: 7/10 - I love pork jowl (pork cheek) because it literally melts in your mouth! These were good but it was a little tough. I'm thinking it's because these were previously frozen. It didn't have much flavor unfortunately, but it tasted better than the beef brisket. Galbi (Korean short ribs): 9/10 - these were really good. The marinated meats in my opinion tasted much better! The short ribs were fragrant and had a wonderful flavor. As it was grilling, I could smell all the spices and aroma. I love they added onion as well too because the onion's flavor becomes sweet after it's grilled. The chargrilled flavor was chef's kiss! Spicy pork belly: 8/10 - I enjoyed the pork belly very much and it was marinated nicely. Dipped with the sesame oil/salt mix, it was divine. I always get pork belly at Korean BBQ restaurants and this one definitely hit the spot! Overall, a decent place for AYCE Korean BBQ, but some of the meats need a little bit more flavor. Also wished some of the meats didn't come frozen but we had a good experience here. Will definitely come try this place again!

Yelp
I used to dine here many moons ago and the food was horrible. I went recently to try their new AYCE bbq under new management. I will say I was actually surprised by how authentic it was. The sides were actually, dare I say, good?! Their kimchi actually tasted fermented and was spicy as well! Their fish cake wasn't dried of the ultra cheap variety. Their steamed egg and teokbokki which accompanied the BBQ was good! They even have moksal which is the best cut of pork (in my opinion). $27.99 is a steal of a deal for this. Highly recommend checking them out. To add reference I am Korean, have been to Korea and have lived in Korea. Sure it's not 10000% "authentic" but it's seriously a HUGE improvement to what it was before. Thumbs up! Will go again!

Yelp
Dishes we ordered was good and authentic and nice and hot but side dishes were not as good. Server was nice too.

Yelp
The new version of Sam Won is just as delucious as the previous. I do miss Ms. Kim in the resaurant welcoming everyone. The inside is much more modern and clean looking. We did the AYCE BBQ. It was AMAZING. You can order a ton of different Appitizers/Sides and there are different levels of BBQ. It comes with korean bonchon (sides) that can be refilled anytime even without having the AYCE BBQ. the meat was so fresh there was a worker cutting the meat in the bar area. We ordered the kimchi pancake and the Korean fried chicken both were amazing! Check out the new Sam Won!

Yelp
Ok, I'll admit. I'm addicted to this place. Since coming back from my Korea trip I really needed something to scratch the itch. But I'll also comment that the food here is slightly altered to suit more of an American taste. The seating here is quite nice. They have cute booths in the back where they can let to do a traditional kbbq experience with the grill in the middle of the table. If you're not into grilling your own meat the kitchen will bring it to you on a hot plate and then you'll u can sit in the middle area that's not a booth if you're more comfortable sitting at a table. To note: if you want to grill your own meat you have to order 2 meats. They'll explain it to you. Everyone is very accommodating. The first time I was here I ordered the Al jiggar which is a codfish roe stew. It was so fragrant. I wouldnt recommend it for the uninitiated, but I'd you're more experimental with your food experiences, I love the strong seafood taste of the soup. My friend ordered the galbi, and of course it is always lovely. I love how they marinate their meats here.  I came here a fortnight later and got their squid stir fry. It was sweeter than I'm used to and very saucy. Perfect for all that rice you get. This time my friend ordered the grilling meat and her boyfriend got the seafood udon. They loved their orders, so that's all I can say on that, since I couldn't finish all my food. For me the amount of food they give us approximately 2.5 meals amount wise, so it's quite a bit. Even if it's like $20+ per person, you really get what you pay for. They have kdrama playing on 1 TV near the door and kpop music videos on the one by the bar. It's really an aesthetic. It's dark in here, but it really adds to the ambience. You can tell it's truly a mom and pop shop. And I can't recommend it enough. I love it! I keep coming back!

Okay so I was super impressed! Change in ownership I was told! The food was amazing. The sizes and prices we good.

Yelp
I recently spend two weeks in South Korea so I have very specific flavors I'm craving. This is My fav Korean restaurant in town. 6 banchan options and generous portions! I've been going here before they offered AYCE and loved the food. In the past week I have returned for AYCE BBQ two times. I've learned if you are party of two for AYCE ask for half portions because they are huge. Everything is super delicious. The bulgogi is not too sweet and it's tender. The port belly is generous in size and amazing with raw garlic. My family loves kimchi and they keep it coming. The radish banchan is so good. I also love fish cake and it is served with banchan. You can get lettuce leaves for wrapping too. The tteoboki is also available with the AYCE and lots of soups, chicken, japchae...it's so good! I'll be back for more rounds! Also, I'm also thanked in Korean by the chef that is slicing the meat. Kamsahamida!!

Yelp
Came for the first time for a birthday dinner. I ordered the bibimbap and it was delicious! I also tasted some of the kitchen-cooked kbbq bulgogi which was also yummy and plentiful. It's a smaller, hole-in-the-wall space, but the staff did well keeping up with each table and providing prompt service.
google avatar

Yelp
Sam Won has been a go to spot for me for over the past 8 + years. I've tried other Korean bbq options here and Jax, and keep coming back to my lil hole in the wall spot over here. I think what you get for what you pay is very fair, the service has always been very good, and so is my food each time I make the trip over here. Sam Won is the type of place that after you visit once or twice, you know what you are going to get each time you come in. It's reliable. Their bibimbap is my all time favorite. Normally I get it in the hot stone, but this time decided to try it in a regular bowl, and add an extra egg to it. Still just as delicious. Their homemade hot sauce they bring to the table with the bibimbap is very tasty. If you require a little extra heat, just tell your server and they will bring a much hotter version of the same sauce, to your table. I greatly appreciated that - custom! The glass noodle appetizer shown in the pics was extremely delicious. That was a new try for me and I will be ordering that again on my next visit! The spicy pork was not overly spicy. I'd classify it a mild to low end medium heat for those of you who like a little spice, but not too much.
google avatar

Robin L.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing experience! We had the Japchae, Kimchi Pancake, and went for the Meat Lover All-You-Can-Eat option and it did not disappoint. The meat selection was incredible: spicy pork, pork Boston butt, pork belly, thin sliced pork belly, teriyaki chicken, beef belly, beef bulgogi, and thin sliced brisket -- every bite was full of flavor and grilled to perfection. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. 10/10 would definitely recommend to any KBBQ lover or anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience!

Yelp
Walking in, there's a large sign that says they're under new management. I'm unsure if that's a good thing or not.. Went in for lunch on a Sunday and ordered the all you can eat for $29 (lowest tier). It's nice that it includes several free appetizers like fried chicken, spicy rice cake, stews, dumplings, etc. We ordered the pork belly, brisket, spicy pork and one other type of pork belly. For the apps, we got the fried chicken (surprisingly good as the batter was tempura), fried dumplings (again, pretty good), kimchi stew (not bad) and corn cheese (not good; was runny). The meat was just OK. You can tell it's not the greatest quality of meat but that's kind of what you expect at an all you can eat. Service was fine but they're a bit short staffed. It took a long time to get the extra kimchi and lettuce I asked for and for water to be refilled. Overall, I've had better Korean BBQ at other places so I probably won't be coming back here unless Im craving other Korean food and want to try their more traditional dishes.

Yelp
Oh this is a Special Gem ! Favorite Korean AYCE spot in Jacksonville. So authentic that you feel like you are out of the country. I love that you see older Koreans go there to drink beer/soju and eat too. Thats how you know you are at the right place . The food is sooo delicious and fresh . Love that the meat is not just sitting out . The side dishes and all the appetizers are yummy! The owner is also so kind and hardworking . We always see him cutting up the slices of meat . This is the place to be if you want REAL Korean food in Jacksonville.

Yelp
B+ for Korean BBQ in Jax! I would definitely dine here again. The food is authentic Korean and tastes good for the most part. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small and cozy. The pricing is comparable to an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ place, in which the amount for one dish + one appetizer equals the typical amount you'd pay for one person at AYCE. So if you want more bang for your buck you might choose an AYCE. But I guess the plus here is that you can bring home leftovers, whereas at an AYCE you typically cannot. I rate the food a B+ because it tasted good. I wasn't blown away, but I was definitely satisfied. Theres a good selection of dishes and drinks. The quality of the meats were good. And the sides were fresh. We ordered beef ribs, thin sliced beef brisket, and beef prime rib eye. The bulgogi, or beef prime rib eye was cooked in the back and the rest was brought to the table to be cooked by us. We also got rice, lettuce, a sweet dipping sauce, along with sides that included pickled radish/carrot combo, bean sprouts, kimchi, and seaweed. We also ordered corn cheese and tteok bokki as appetizers. The beef ribs had a great, savory flavor and the tteok bokki was so soft and delicious. They were my favorites. The thin sliced beef brisket could have been sliced a bit more thinly. And the beef prime rib eye was cut into perfect bite sized pieces, but the marinade was just average. The corn cheese had more mayonnaise than I was expecting. The rice, lettuce and sides were fresh and paired well with our meats. I dipped my meat in the sweet sauce and asked for sesame oil. Add salt to that and dip your meat in for some added flavor. Our server was friendly and very attentive. She came by multiple times to refill our side dishes and drinks. We sat at the table with blackboard walls and they had a cup full of chalk at our table. My niece had fun drawing on the wall, and it was cool to see previous customers' art work. It was an enjoyable experience, and I would recommend this place.

Yelp
The best all you can eat AYCE Korean KBBQ in Jacksonville; so much flavor, quick service and the meat was extremely high quality. Great price, and a locally owned place instead of the generic KBBQ chains. 100% recommend, will never go anywhere else!
google avatar

Ashton J.

Yelp
The restaurant was nice and you had the option to enjoy the Korean grill if you wanted that. The food was fresh when it came out and was very quick with bringing my food out. The staff was also very friendly as well

Colby H.

Yelp
Amazing Korean food. I only took a picture of the BanChan because we dug into everything else. Best Korean I've had in Jacksonville.
google avatar

Don C.

Yelp
We think this is our favorite Korean we've tried in Jax. They have charcoal in the table grills too for extra flavor on the meats. They have never ending banchan and great service.

Jenny L.

Yelp
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! The food was awful. Cold and nasty. I had bad stomach pain after eating there. They added auto Gratuity and added MORE tips to my credit card without my authorization! Scam! Check your credit card! Need to report this business!
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
Pretty good spot if you're ever craving Korean food! Very cute interior and quick, friendly service! There are a variety of complimentary side dishes that are served for the table. The seafood pancake was delicious and a must try! The Kimbap was a little underwhelming because there was too much rice with less flavor/texture than what I'm used to; the Seafood Udon was a little salty for my liking. Jjam Pong was a really good mix of spicy broth with seafood and noodles. Portions were sizable and there's a lot of options on the menu!
google avatar

Julio H.

Yelp
This is place is a gem. I really liked every dish. The flavors are very original and typical of Asian countries, but the real treasure is the quantity of dishes on the menu. Aside from the popular dishes, there are many soups and noodles that are hard to find at other places. The banchan was also good and the list of drinks was amazing. This is definitely a great place to eat.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Chicken with teriyaki sauce is so delicious! It was definitely enough portions for two meals, and there was tasty rice and delicious sides that came with the meal even though it was to go. Dumplings were so tasty, fried well, and 5 came with the appetizer. Definitely recommend this spot for takeout!

Deanna B.

Yelp
The experience was great. It was my grandson's 21st birthday and the wait staff made the party very fun. The service was wonderful and friendly. The food was delicious we were sat at a grill table and ordered the all you can eat. They have chalkboards at the tables, so you can do a drawing or leave a message. Lots of fun was had. I would definitely recommend. They take reservations also. Thank You to the Sam Won wait staff.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been years (maybe even a decade) since eating at Sam Won. After so long, it's very nice to experience the same level of service and flavors. Portions were as big as I remember them to be. My parents and I enjoyed our meals. Thank you! When I'm back in town and in the area, I'll be sure to visit again...

Phuoc B.

Yelp
Our server D.N are so unfriendly and rude. She have an attitude for no reason. Never going back here again.

Yelp
Went here with my Korean School teacher and classmates and had a great time. Food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Everything tasted on point, not too sweet or salty. Their side dishes were also delicious . We will be coming back

Yelp
Love love love lowkey miss the white sauce they had though overall would come back for the squid

Yelp
I've been going here about 8 years now. I like their jjampong and you can do korean bbq like pork belly, galbi and stuff. But recently they started serving sushi as well. I found out that the chef used to be sushi man. Sushi was good. The rice is very important with sushi but chef got it all good. Service was great. And I feel like I was in korea because of interior. Very authentic interior.

Yelp
I dunno what's wrong with me lol. Who else says to themselves, "I want to try some fish I've never had before from a restaurant I've never been to before" randomly on a Friday night? That's how I came across the Godeungeo Gui (Roasted Mackerel) from Sam Won on a delivery app. Mackerel's a fish I've never had. Preliminary Google research stated that the fish has a strong flavor and is oily so this intrigued me. The dish came with a side of kimchi and rice but I didn't mix the two together. The fish was definitely fishy but I still loved it. I didn't have to pull a handful of bones out my mouth but with a small fish like this that is to be expected. It was also salted before roasting and I'm very glad of the because that's all that's needed for it. Now I definitely must try this local fav in person.
google avatar

Tarik A.

Yelp
Everytime I come in here I'm greeted with a smile. Service is quick although the food takes awhile. I don't mind it being cooked to order so that's no issue. You definitely want to order all of the things pictured below ! Great food good atmosphere

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. We've always had great service and yummy food. My personal favorite is the jajangmyeon. It's been my first time back in a year or so and they have expanded their menu, there's bulgolgi, fried chicken, chowders and even their rendition of ramen. For desserts they have the fish ice cream, banana tempura and a cheesecake. For drinks coke products & a variety of wine/beer and even soju. The vibe of the restaurant itself definitely is family owned, it's cozy, they have Korean music and tv shows on all the time. It was pretty busy while we were there but we got everything we needed quickly. Definitely a local must try

Yelp
Authentic Korean cuisine! We are limited in Jax at the moment on authentic Korean restaurants. Sam Won is one of the longest running here in Jax and for good reason. Their prices are high, yes. But given their monopoly on the market and lack of viable competition, the prices are justified and I understand. I haven't had an off or bad dish and I've been a customer at Sam Won since 2000s/2010s. When I didn't live here and would come to visit, we'd still go visit Sam Won Garden. I love when they have boricha, I don't know how often they have it in the past several years. But I love barley tea/barley water. This is the only Korean restaurant I've ever known to serve it in jax.

Yelp
Food is always delicious; service was very accommodating and ambiance is on point. They have excellent lunch specials. We always get the Kalbi and bulgogi plates and extra dumplings and/ or Jap Chae. These dishes are not spicy ; I do not care for too spicy. If you love spicy also plenty to choose from. Yelp
We have lived In Jacksonville for a short 19 months so far. We have been to a couple other Korean restaurants in the area and have been woefully disappointed. Sam Won Garden saved those worries! From the wonderful welcoming owners and staff, to the delicious menu and the great options for kids and truly authentic flavors of Korean cuisine... we were impressed. We have lived all over the country and have spent time in South Korea and I have to say this is some of the best dishes I have ever had. We did not cook at our table and did not feel the need to. I think of that as more of a fun social night, this was a night to enjoy great food! Make sure you try their kimchi pancake, bulgogi and my favorite recipe I've ever had of Jaeyook Kimchi Bokum (Korean Spicy Marinated Pork With Chiles and Kimchi). Can't wait to go back again... was not busy on a Monday night so maybe a great day to go.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service. The menus had gotten more concise over the years but they still have all the great classic dim sum dishes.

Yelp
Adding a star since the last time I came here because the owner is such a lovely person. She was so hospitable and treats you like family. Of course the food was great, really really like the kimbap (think sushi rolls but no seafood and better) and the lunch box had just enough of everything. I brought my Mom with me and she can be difficult about her food preferences. The seafood bibimbap has mussels, squid, and shrimp with shells on which turned her off. No fault to the restaurant and the Owner though. The Korean fried chicken here is especially crispy. Almost glass like, so crispy I loved it. Plus the sauce has great flavor. Great food, great people, and great Kdramas on TV to watch while you eat haha

Yelp
Came in on a late Sunday afternoon. It was pretty busy for the the time. The restaurant is dim but has very typical decor of similar Korean restaurants in the area. They play Korean game shows/competitions on a television and K-pop. There's a good amount of room between tables so it was comfortable. Menu has appetizers, soups, noodles, rice plates, and bbq. We ordered ttook bokki $7.99, galbitang $13.99, and donkatsu $19.99. The most not worth dish was the ttook bokki. We got a handful of rice cakes with onions, no fish cake, and a hard boiled egg. The sauce is a cheese-cream type sauce which was not what I was expecting. It took me by surprise as I do not like cheese. The galbitang has a ton of flavor. There's not a ton of meat on the bones (probs comes from the bbq) and a good bit of fat. Radish was undercooked. However, it has really good bone broth taste that was super comforting for me. Donkatsu is a pretty big portion. My husband said it was slightly overcooked. There was only one person who was working as both the waiter and cashier. He was attentive and provided good service.

Yelp
I had just gotten to JAX and was in the mood for KBBQ. I found this place and it got good reviews so I figured I would try it out. Big mistake. First off when I walked in it was dead. I figured I would still try it out because it was later in the evening. Next the person who greeted me told me I could not do the grill because they wouldn't do it for one person, which makes no sense because the options are one price regardless of how many people order. So I ordered bibimbap, one of my favorites. This was the worst I have ever had. Most of the vegetable was lettuce. Plain lettuce. There was barely any meat even though I asked for extra meat. It also did not come in a stone pot so there was none of the delicious crispy rice you expect. It was literally rice with a little meat, lettuce, and a small amount of sprouts and mushrooms. If you love KBBQ and know how delicious it is do not come here you will be disappointed.

Yelp
We drive from Georgia to here and googled this place . The food is good but the service is terrible . Our server the girl doesn't want to serve us At all and she never ask if the food is okay or we need to to get more food . I have to wave my hands 5 times or more and tell her to come over to get our food . Even if it's AYCE no one helps us to do bbq at all we have to do ourselves. There is no service at all except for we have to tell her to bring the food to our table . And when we need to order more she said : you want to order beef tongue also ? And she is very impatient and arrogant attitude when she talk toward us . Also the other Asian girl I know she is not our server but we try to talk tl her to tell the other server come over she just ignore me after I said ( hello excuse me for at least 3 times )I usually leave 20% tips but this time I can't because how bad she treat us . The food is good but service attitude need to improve .
