Best Poolside Drinks and Dining at Las Vegas Pools and Dayclubs | Eater Vegas

"The Palms is teaming up with Sammy Hagar this season to bring a Baja beach vibe to the resort pool. Mixed with Hagar’s signature spirits, the Tiki Bar will serve cocktails that include a rum-pineapple Maui-jito, a tequila-based Cabo-rita, and strawberry daiquiris. The deep menu consists of a carne asada breakfast burrito, chicken tinga nachos, quesadillas, a vegan Thai salad, and tuna poke bowl. Sammy’s Island debuts May 17. Cabanas: Free for locals Monday through Thursday until April 30; $500 Couches and Lily Pads: $100" - Ryan Slattery

I recently went to the pool with a close friend for a much-needed day to relax and unwind. We don’t get out much because of work, and this was our first time spending a day at the pool together. From the start, everything felt easy and welcoming—even without a reservation, we were able to get a comfortable poolside couch in the perfect spot with amazing views and easy access to the water. The highlight of the day was the bartender. She gave us incredible service from beginning to end. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. Every drink she made was well-balanced and refreshing. Her calm and caring attitude really added to the relaxing vibe of the day. What made the experience even more special was a moment of unexpected kindness. A group of women on the next couch was celebrating a birthday, and the manager, Steve, surprised us all with a complimentary round of prosecco. That small gesture brought everyone together and made the day feel even more joyful. Steve was amazing—he didn’t need to call anyone or ask for help when we asked. He handled everything himself and made sure the vibe stayed positive and fun. The teamwork between him and the bartender was smooth and professional. Overall, what started as a simple day to relax turned into one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a long time. The drinks, the service, the atmosphere, and the kindness we received made it truly special. I’m so thankful for the staff and how they helped create a day we’ll never forget!

Palms welcomes residents Monday- Thursday for no entry fee. I love their lounge chairs with storage space below. The fruit plate with basil yogurt is a must!

My sister and I had a wonderful experience at the cabana! The service was attentive and we really enjoyed the space. Was definitely worth booking as it was complimentary for locals. Was a little bum there was no DJ on Thursday but the music was still fun. Best part of the cabana was our private pool that had jets and overlooking the rest of pool area 😎

Google
The pool itself is great, but I’m here to talk about the poolside service. If you’re hanging out poolside at the Palms and you’re not in one of the VIP suites, then go directly to the snack bar and don’t wait for a server to help you because they’re not wasting their time amongst the rabble. We tip well too, but I guess the waitress will never know. Sis got a poke bowl which was good, but it was more bowl than poke. The chicken wings were super dry but decent. Wish we’d passed in the food here, since we could’ve gotten better food if we’d just gone into the casino for some dim sum at Tim Ho Wan.

I normally will not leave a negative review. This is my first ever and I've debated it for weeks. My friend rented a cabana for her birthday on 5/24. Along with rented rooms, tickets for a show, and reservations at one of the on-site restaurants. Our experience was a DISAPPOINTMENT! The pool was shut down for an hour on 2 different occasions during our rental. This was due to people throwing up in the pool. Our server was no where to be seen for close to an hour. We had to on multiple occasions go to the bar to order our drinks. We ordered food and when it had not arrived in over an hour we located our server and asked. At which time we were told the kitchen was backed up. The cabana required a $500 minimum. Unfortunately they would not take into account the $150+ we spent having to get our own drinks. Thus we ended up out of pocket $100 additionally to meet the minimum. Which if the food had come out or our server was there to order drinks from we would have been over the minimum. The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because the DJ did a great job of keeping the energy up even with the multiple pool closures. Palm Management I know tourism is most of the business but us locals spend money too. And we are who people ask for recommendations on where to go, eat, stay, etc. And my recommendation is not to have the same disappointment we did spend your money elsewhere.

Really nice pool but the staff is clueless. We rented a cabana and our server completely ignored us. We had to chase her down several times and it took us hours to receive a drink and chips. The private pools are not marked so everytime you get out other people jump in and you have to ask them to leave. We were ignored by the staff. it took and hour and a half to check in even though these was only 5 people in line ahead of us. If we asked the staff a question like "can we get a waitress?" Or "How can we check out?" The staff would shrug, like I said clueless.

Hello!! My husband and I were not staying at the Palms but we recently rented a cabana for the day on 8/23/23. We had not stepped foot in the Palms in about 7-8 years, the renovations were beautiful! Back to the cabana… we arrived and waited a few minutes before Sesen checked us in.I am a firm believer in the frontline is the face of your organization and it can make or break an experience with first impressions. Sesen immediately apologized for the wait and she was very welcoming, sweet and had a sunny ☀️ and bright attitude. Sesen offered us an upgraded cabana due to the other side of the pool being closed. We ended up with a cabana with a private soak pool. There were a ton of kids so we were most excited for the tiny pool and enjoyed it immensely! Thank you Sesen!!🫶🏻 Diane was our cocktail server for the day and Louis was assisting. Drinks were just okay in my opinion, but my husband enjoyed his cocktails and we both thought the food was AMAZING! We especially loved the Vegas hot chicken wrap! The bathrooms were incredibly clean, any staff members I encountered greeted me with a smile. At one point I had to run into the store to grab an essential, Sesen informed security I was there for the day (no room key)and would be returning shortly. She made sure I wouldn’t have any issues. It was such a chill vibe, great music, and it was a very comfortable cabana! We will definitely do this again, we enjoyed it immensely.

Google
I want to start by saying whoever the guy with the DJ cali look that checks people in for the reservations has the worst attitude. We came for the locals cabana reservation. We had confirmed that we had the second floor cabana reserved. When we approached the counter the guy checking us in had a sarcastic response to every question we had. He also said there was none and we got the last cabana.. turns out he lied and there was a few upstairs. He also said its a 300 dollar minimum.. this started our first experience to Palms pool in a bad turn. We sat down in our cabana and the busser asked if we were told about a minimum and I just replied that the front guy didnt tell us anything but sarcastic reponses. Steve who is the manager ended up taking care of it and turned out not so well experience around. We also had amazing server Tanzania and her busser that made our experience amazing and always checked on us. I recommend whoever had the shit attitude in the front to figure it out or find another job since that can easily deter guests.

Yelp
Salvador provided an amazing experience at the Sea Food Buffet Thank you for making this a memorable one!

Yelp
Decent hotel off the strip- free parking, decent hotel prices, closer to Chinatown if you fancy that, and if you're a VIP, there's even closer parking that allows you to park near the elevators. (-): One drawback (like most hotels in Vegas), is they do not have refrigerators. I wished this was an amenity they offer because we just end up needing to use coolers and ice cubes instead. (+): Love that they have Tim Ho Wan which I never got to try in SoCal. Despite not having an extensive menu, I love that the casino has this establishment.

Yelp
The horrible service which is impossible to ignore. Let me be clear about why I'm taking my business elsewhere: 1. The so-called 'VIP Room' is a joke - it's just an overcrowded space where people huddle for free cookies and drinks. Nothing VIP about it. If you can't deliver true VIP service, stop marketing it as such. 2. My friend is a Diamond tier player, the contrast between Yaamava and The Palms is shocking. At Yaamava, he is treated like a valued guest. At The Palms? The host Winnie Xu has consistently treated him with disdain. Every request is met with a flat 'no' and an attitude that screams 'we don't care about your business.' Here's the bottom line: we came ready to gamble money at The Palms. But after experiencing this level of service? Not a chance. You can deny perks - that's your right. But treating high-tier players like an inconvenience? That's a choice that will cost you business. Management needs to wake up and realize that your competition knows how to treat their VIP players. Until then, our money will be spent where it's appreciated

Yelp
I haven't been to Palms in years! Since I was planning on being in town for a bit, we were able to score a reservation for the lobster buffet at AYCE on New Year's Day. As far as the casino goes, they have an abundance of slot machines including many I've never seen before. Their tables are affordable with some lower denoms. It was pretty difficult to get a drink so I ended up just walking over to the bar. For the 5 hours we were there, I saw a server once. Maybe it was the crowd? Parking is plentiful. The casino was clean and felt comfortable. Smoke was around but not the worse. I feel that they have great promotions. If you sign up, you can earn additional free play, a buffet, and a prize if you hit certain tier points that day. Food options are also plenty. They have a number of restaurants but also fast food if you're looking for something quick. Great, off the strip casino and def warrants a trip back.

Yelp
12/29/24- Normally I avoid the strip- but ventured out of my comfort zone this trip. When my son stated on the air bnb side we were very impressed. Although we had reservations at our go to resort- I decided to make a reservation since I had my heart set on exploring. Check in was smooth- and the staff talked me into upgrading-.. The suite - corner unit was extravagant... Beautiful views- and so quiet!.. Rooms are all with the newest upgrades of lights and necessary plugs- Would I upgrade again?.. probably not- but glad the first visit was upgraded!

Yelp
Our wedding was a success here thanks to Jackie the events coordinator! I stayed here the night before and had a great suite and great view. Would definitely stay here again! All of our guest that had stayed here were very impressed and a great time was had!

Yelp
Lately, I've been to the Palms Casino Resort pretty often. I've enjoyed it every time! I was able to join a friend at an awards ceremony - it was held at Kaos. The open bar and catered food was pretty good. We got to try some pesto chicken and pasta, bread rolls, salad, and a bunch of different desserts. The staff was really friendly inside of Kaos as well. During my most recent visit, I tried out the AYCE buffet with my family. It was an awesome time. We got to choose from the huge selection of food. My favorite part was the endless crab legs and shrimp bar. There were also endless bagels and lox. The casino itself is clean and well-maintained. I felt safe each time I visited and all the staff I came across were friendly and helpful. Go check out their movie theater, the buffet, or slots. There's endless options as they also have a huge pool area. You've got options!

Yelp
The Palms is located West of the Strip on Flamingo. Go West from Caesars and Bellagio. We stayed in the Fantasy tower which is better than the Ivory tower. You can see from the photos online that the Ivory tower only has half a glass barrier between toilet and sink and near shower. Near the shower this caused the water to leak on the floor. This was not a problem in the Fantasy tower. The Fantasy tower also had adjoining rooms which was good because we were there for a soccer tournament and some of the girls wanted joining rooms. The fitness center was excellent (see photos). They also had an electric "do not disturb" indicator. Overall good option if you do not mind being off the Strip.

Yelp
Had the best experience with Jackie, the events manager for the hotel. She's been a dream helping us coordinate and plan our wedding at the Palms. Although it's iconic and classic Vegas, it has had a facelift! It's gorgeous and extremely nice. We can't wait to celebrate here next year and look forward to enjoying more of the amenities like the pool and gorgeous suites we saw!

Yelp
I truly enjoy the Palms Casino. Parking is easy and a lot of great restaurants to dine at. My favorites are Vetri, Tim Ho Wan (seems like I'm here weekly), and Scotch 80. Unfortunately, this last visit at Scotch 80 was a bust. I'll be updating my review. I attended a pool party concert event and it was so much fun. Love that they had the pool open if you want to swim. We were with friends who had a few cabanas. It had its own small pools located on the 2nd floor. We were able to watch the concert from there and yet not deal with the general crowd. Overall, Palms Casino is a fun place. Ha gout at the sportsbar or check out the events at the Pearl room.

Yelp
What a disappointing experience while in Vegas. We came to the Palms as have never been. On line it shared the Shag Store was here and open on Mondays. Shag Tiki Artist. Well it was not the store had closed and moved out and a general store was in its place. We decided since there play a little on casino floor - another major disappointment - we played over an hour and never saw a cocktail waitress. A casino person walked by and said she would send someone over. Once again never happened.

Yelp
Impressive hotel casino both exterior and interior. Beautifully landscaped. Vibrant, warm atmosphere. Busy with lots of people. Real feeling of Las Vegas. Been in this strip before and had the opportunity to have worked with construction companies who built number of hotels along Las Vegas Blvd. many years ago. So many more beautiful magnificent hotels added since then. Palms surely is one of them. It just became one of my favorite go to hotel. Gone to the buffet and had a good time with my family. Surely be coming back.

Yelp
The Palms Casino Resort is located off of the Flamingo/I-15 in Las Vegas. It's off the Las Vegas strip, a few blocks away. There are a lot of activities at the Palms Casino Resort. I ended up stopping by on a Friday afternoon to visit the Sammy's Island pool for an event. The Palms Casino Resort has the option for you to stay on-site. There are a variety of rooms, suites, penthouses and villas available. If you're just stopping by for some entertainment, there's a variety of table games! Blackjack Craps Three Card Poker Ultimate Texas Hold'em Pai Gow Poker and so much more! All of the slot machines look brand new, and the casino was beautiful! I was surprised that it wasn't too busy for a Friday afternoon in the summer at the Palms casino! You can enjoy a variety of dining experiences at some of the restaurants below, located inside the Palms casino Scotch 80 Prime Mabel's BBQ Send Noodles Vetri Cucina The Eatery Tim Ho Wan and a few more restaurants! For entertainment, you should check out the Palms website! They have a few bands and shows at their Pearl Theater! I think Pat Benatar and Babyface is coming into town at the Pearl Theater towards the end of summer! I really enjoyed my time at the Sammy's Island Palms pool. There were several smaller pools near the cabanas, and the general use pool centered in the middle of Sammy's Island! The food was terrific, too! The Chicken Fingers and the Wagyu sliders were amazing! Next time I come back to the Palm's Casino, I plan on eating at Mabel's BBQ!

Yelp
On our way to the hotel and understandably we needed to show our room card. The security guard doing the check was a nice guy. Does his job well with a smile. Also I'm glad they have that security check and Palms is consistent with it. Our room was clean with a nice view. I enjoyed the comfy side lounge chair. Always appreciate the shampoo/conditioner/body wash shower amenities. Unfortunately the mini fridge is filled up with mini bar items. So still no fridge usage lol. Still a good stay. Thank you Palms!

Yelp
New marketing strategy is very detrimental to the player They cut back on benefits so much that it is taking advantage of the players Don't recommend playing there.

Yelp
We were on our third trip and stay in one year 2024,!... and still a superb CLEAN STAY & SUPERB SUCCULENT FOOD CHOICES , however our shower backed up and other rest room parts not working ... Cheyenne , a supervisor came to the rescue in under 15 min . Saved the day & night as well. Look forward to our next stay as entire staff along w Cheyenne , like Michael at the desk (in previous submitted pics also polite and responsive and courteous . See you in January !!!

Yelp
Still no call or follow up from anyone at this hotel This is how you treat your casino reward members
google avatar

Kala J.

Yelp
Went to see Babyface at the Palms Theater within the casino and boy what a show! The theater is nice but that seating is tight! I don't think there is a bad seat in house though. We sat in section 101 which is considered floor seating, even though we were off to the right of the stage. The sound was great! He sounds just like all his records. Free complimentary self parking in the West lot. A small food court featuring Panda Express and McDonald's(no outside) food allowed in the theater.

Yelp
157/2024 Excellent Valet service extended to hotel guests for free. Tips welcome! *** Not a smoke free casino.*** Restrooms accessible to the left upon entering. Visiting casino for the AYCE Sunday BRUNCH BUFFET after church. Restrooms accessible outside of the restaurant .
google avatar

Yelp
Not on the strip, they have three towers, we were in a two bedroom suite, decent space with corner balcony, certain aesthetic looks dated but overall comfortable and they offer complimentary parking.
google avatar

Cynthia V.

Yelp
Located off the main strip; we came here to enjoy one of their restaurants located in the tower for a spectacular view. Hotel and casino seems recently renovated; everything was really nice and clean. Only drawback is its separation from the main strip, so Ubers/cabs are likely necessary to go between unless you want to pull out your walking shoes.

Yelp
This is what my bathroom looked like upon arrival. There was hair and residual in the shower and tub. We called the desk when we noticed later that night while trying to use the facilities for the first time. The maid said they would come the next morning. Next day we called maid no answer then front desk . They said someone would be up. When we got back later it was cleaned and we noticed that we had bathroom mats that were not there before ( as they should have been) but the said mats were torn to shreds. I do not know WHY the property would keep shedded mats or towels with stains?.. on top of that when we mentioned it at checkout the desk said there was note made so they could offer us a paltry $18 resort fee. For a room ( bathroom )I HAD TO CLEAN to use. When you spend money on a suite because it has a bathtub ( the room's downgraded do not) then have to clean it and PAY the same amount that is not a holiday vacation. On top of that the "lobster " buffet was a mess. We got a 3pm seating and all the lobster was VERY overcooked like seafood rubberbands. We sat by the vegan area a for 45 min saw one or two people grab anything and not once was the food changed there. Literally watched dips and food crust over. Last time we stayed at the flamingo because we had a show there and the rooms were just remodeled and we thought man this property is dated. Well the Palms is by far worse. We are just going to keep to the wynn and Venetian. I would never recommend this hotel. Also walking to the strip is not safe from here. I would not recommend it.
google avatar

Yelp
We loved our stay at the Palms Resort. Such a beautiful and clean hotel. It has many amenities, restaurants and bars/lounges. Check in was a breeze, valet parking was very convenient and the staff was all wonderful. Our suite was beautiful and very spacious. We had a large king size bed, small lounge area and two flat screen tvs. The restroom had a walk in shower and jacuzzi. The balcony offered an amazing view of the strip. Although it's off the strip, we felt close enough to the strip without the madness and busyness. We would definitely come back and stay at the Palms Resort!

Yelp
After a long closure this off Strip casino and hotel is finally open again. It was recently purchased by a local Native American tribe and cleaned up a bit. Palms is one of the better off strip casinos in Vegas. Maybe not as good as it used to be but it's not as bad as it had gotten. The clean up helped for sure. For awhile no one knew what would happen. It had closed at the beginning of the pandemic with the other casinos and hotels, and remained closed after most of the rest had opened. There was the possibility this would remain closed permanently. After awhile it was purchased by the San Manuel Band Of Mission Indians. They then reopened it earlier this year. Amenities include the casino of course. There's also a pool and sports book, along with music and party venues. Also a buffet but it's expensive. The casino doesn't have as bad a stench as it had before the reopening. Free parking. That may be the best thing to be honest. Going this far away from the Strip can be inconvenient, so that may be the worst thing about this hotel and casino. It's also expensive especially for the buffet, which is big but has basic food. This is good that it's reopened and getting business back though.

Yelp
This is an over long due review. Let's start with how much I enjoy coming to Vegas and staying at the Palms. They have everything you need for your stay. From a Spa day to watch a movie. They offer everything! They have different restaurants to choose from plus the food court and AYCE buffet which now offers brunch mimosas during the week- downside is that lines get pretty long so don't come hungry to give time to be in line. On this particular occasion, I was helped by Jessica at check in. What an absolute pleasure! She made sure I was comfortable by offering water and explaining every step to keep me engaged. I appreciate how friendly and helpful she was. I've never experienced the room/public restroom/ food court/machines being dirty, it is always ready to go and ready to welcome you! The variety of restaurants is great to have. On this visit I noticed they opened a New Mexican restaurant which the words were hard to read but the vibes were awesome and they also opened a new BBQ restaurant, two stories so plenty of space. In the food court you can find McDonald's, coffee bean, sandwich shop Panda Express and you can always make your way to the movie theater concession stand for a quick snack. For night entertainment you have the Ghostbar which is located on the 55 floor and offers beautiful views of the strip. Highly recommend this hotel! Make sure to join their rewards program as they often send offers. And best of all FREE parking!
google avatar

Omar R.

Yelp
This was my first time staying at The Palms. I was very impressed with the staffs' friendliness and the customer service. The rooms are modern, clean, and well maintained. The food court in the hotel is decent and with a good collection. I really liked how the prices were reasonable, even for water bottles. I would definitely stay here again. Also, parking is still free! What a nice perk. The prices for the hotel rooms were very reasonable.
google avatar

Daniel S.

Yelp
I love coming here as a local for the AYCE buffet, Brendan theatre's, roulette, craps, slots, and the pool & bar during summertime. This Resort is located west of the Vegas Strip, therefore you avoid all the inconveniences of traffic and parking is never an issue. I recommend this establishment for tourists and locals looking for a staycation.

Yelp
Rooms are beautiful and beds are very comfortable. The bathroom view is awesome to the point I I'm working in the bathroom for the view.

Yelp
Pool Review: We enjoyed the beautiful cabanas during their locals special. Free rentals Monday-Thursday when you show local ID. Each cabana area has their own jet pool which we shared with our neighbors on each side of us. The pool closest to us was closed but i understand why, there just wasn't a ton of people there the day we went. The second pool was still very easy to get to! We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, 2 buckets of beer and a huge boat of fried goodies! It's a bit on pricey side but the food was delicious and we had leftovers! The service was amazing and our server was super cool. We had a wonderful time so I totally recommend this pool!

Yelp

Yelp
This is my first time going to this casino last night. The casino floor looks clean and modernize. There were plenty of slot machines. There were plenty of good rolls at the crap table on this day. The line to make the casino card was pretty long though. It was barely moving, so we decided not to wait.

Karen D.

Yelp
Fun & easy to navigate casino with great restaurants. We enjoy Mabel's and Scotch prime 80.

Yelp
We came back to our room at the Palms Fantasy Tower after a concert event, and there's no running water at 1:30 AM??? We called the front desk, and they said water is unavailable until after 3 AM and that they can't move us to another tower/room because there's no availability on a Wednesday night? What the heck are we paying our stay for, let alone those ridiculous resort fees when this hotel doesn't even have something basic like running water? Can't brush your teeth, can't shower and can't flush poop until 3 AM? Quite unpro and un-freakin-believable for a Las Vegas casino resort and we like the Palms.

Yelp
Great views of the city. Great parking. Beautiful. . . . I shall return one day! What a beautiful building!

Yelp
Well, today's St. Patrick's Day Brunch, sponsored by the Ladies Las Vegas Veterans and OUTDOORNISTA.ORG was a great SUCCESS. "WE" hosted 40 Female Veterans from the greater Las Vegas area and we had a BLAST! Thank you Palms Casino Resort for making the Brunch a special experience!! The ENTIRE STAFF OF THE PALM CASINO RESORT AND HOTEL, THE SERRANO CLUB, THE LUGUNA POOL HOUSE AND KITCHEN and META-HOSPITALITY provided Unwavering Dedication, Tireless Effort and Exceptional Service. Thank you Shawna Bowman, Kathleen Jane Bada, Rodelyn Punzalan, Briana Theocharides, Angela Miranda and Especially Erin O'Connor, Nationally Recognized Comedian and Super Supporter of Veterans who did a HILARIOUS COMEDY SET! #serranoclub #metahospitality

Yelp
Nice little "local" pool experience, free to Las Vegas/NV residents. It feels day-clubby, without being an actual day club. Good drinks, attentive service, and still enough space to lounge in the sun without being over crowded near the pool.

Yelp
Last June was our first time staying at the Palms in 10 years. And we were absolutely happy our entire day. They did a beautiful remodel and renovation. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. And I want to give a big shout out to the housekeeping crew on our floor who did an immaculate job And were super friendly and positive at all times considering how physically demanding their job is. And another shout out to Oscar at the front desk. We did have to wait in line a long time and he was full positive energy and was able to answer all of our questions about the property And his positivity was absolutely infectious. Oscar is the man!!!!

Yelp
Came to the Palms Casino for the AYCE brunch. Highlights of the buffet were steak, crab legs, peeled shrimp, made to order omelettes, multiple desserts, bottomless mimosa's included in the price of the brunch and so much more. The wait staff was friendly and were on top of keeping us happy during our visit. We never felt rushed. For this reason, we will definitely return on our next trip to Las Vegas.

Yelp
Horrible Hotel! I let Yaamava trick me into coming down here through their complimentary 2 night stay. For starters, the slot machines here are tighter than a ring on the wrong finger. Most of the time if you put $500 in a machine anywhere, you see some kind of kick back but this place is greedy. When we went to eat, the food was good but really pricey. Last but not least, the water pressure is so bad in the rooms you have to flush the toilet twice!!! Also the rooms don't come with a sliding shower door, I was like what the fuck? While I'm showering it's cold as shit. I would have rather paid at the Aria or Delano instead of being so inconvenienced. Oh yeah, when you call the front desk and house keeping it takes forever for them to pick up if they actually pick up at all. I'm never coming back to this hotel, I advise you to go somewhere else, this is a 1 star hotel.

Yelp
I just want to update my review & point out some AWESOME staff member's & some not so good ones. I just stayed here on 05/30/2024 & back in April 2024 thanks to Palms for free rooms. I took my friend who was visiting from out of town here for a night. We had already planned on hitting up their pool & I must say that JOHNNY-VIP pool host is amazing!! He was so nice, friendly & got my friend & I a nice semi-private pool/cabana that over looked their main pools. We had such a nice time and didn't have to worry about any kids jumping around us or screaming. We even had 2 nice couples next to us. Johnny came around a few times to check on us. :-) I must say that the wait staff was kinda slow & flaky. I ordered a bucket of Nutrl's from a tan, medium build muscular guy & when my friend went to order her bucket of Topo Chico seltzlers from this female waitress who were working the upstairs pool cabanas had told my friend that they were in our cabana on the table, so we looked & I was like "those are mine." So my friend had to remind the female waitress again what she had ordered from her earlier. Kinda a flaky move. I had then ordered 2 bottles of water from the guy a little later & it took 30mins plus before he came back with them & said "I didn't forget them I just had to go somewhere else to get them." I wanted to say "where, the store?" lol We never even commented to him on how long it took him to bring them to us, but he already knew. The food runner provided us with great service. He was a young, tall, thin African American male. I unfortunately didn't catch any of their names. They were all nice but the waitress & waiter could have been quicker & communicated with each other better. We got a snack tower that had humus, salsa & guac with chips that was very tasty & took churro's & BLT back to the room that was also tasty. We did enjoy our day in the end & stayed till they closed @ 6pm. We stayed in the Fantasy Tower & on my past visit I stayed in the Ivory tower. Both had nice, clean rooms & the beds were comfy. The housekeepers need to be more attentive to the shampoo, conditioner & shower gel containers in the showers on the wall to make sure that they are filled & not emptied when they clean the rooms. All the valet staff I interacted with on both trips were awesome too. Very friendly & quick. On the trip with my friend the bell hop staff we encountered with were also great too. On my most recent trip I was really bothered by a comment that Kim, the bell hop supervisor had said to me when I dropped my bags off at the desk. I had a backpack cooler that I had used & had dumped out the melted ice & water out of but I wasn't sure if it was wet on the outside so when I dropped my bags off (was headed to eat before going home) I told Kim "I'm not sure if this is wet or not so be careful" & he said to me "Well if its wet and/or leaking we will just throw it away." UM WHAT?? I couldn't believe he said that to me & thought that throwing away a guest's property was something he had the right to do. I warned him so if he was that concern then don't put it somewhere where it might get someone else's stuff wet, put it on the floor on top of a towel. I had said to him "I don't think you can just throw someones stuff away?" He had walked off on me. I was in more shock after talking to another staff member complaining to them about him to find out that he is the supervisor. Shame on him!! That really bothered me that he had said that. I ate @ the cafe & sat @ the bar. Bartender Michael was really nice & fast and he even told me he was going on break so I cashed out with him. I actually used me FREE food voucher this trip, that was so great to get that treat. I also used my free play this last trip & actually won my hand @ BJ too! Of course on this last visit I had to hit up the pool. I love the new Sammy H. theme. Once again Michael provided exceptional service & checked on me a few times. This time I got a cabana close to the front with my own private pool right out front. But man I had two ladies on different occasions sitting in my cabana chairs & then a young girl (kid) got in my pool while I was in my cabana and she was looking around & looking like she was up to no good...aka peeing in my pool. Then later two other younger sisters (kids) got in my pool while I was in it. Of course I told them all that it was a private pool & they got out but I wish there were signs up for others to know that these cabanas are not opened for just anyone to help themselves too. The black "ropes" didn't go around the area that I was in, but I don't think that would of stopped any of them. I really was more concerned with the young kids and wonder where their parents were that they were just able to wander around the pool area with no adults with them? Last but not least, I'm giving a shout out to my cabana girl this last trip named LINDSI. She was the BOMB! She was super friendly, attentive & fun to talk to. Thank you!

Yelp
Staff is very friendly, hotel is clean and food at the sauce buffet is delicious! Parking is convenient and well taken care of. I have no complaints.

Yelp
Rooms are great. Atmosphere is nice. Food is okay. But the natives must have a big tax bill coming up or something. In my experience, these have become some of the tightest slots in Las Vegas. Comparable to No Pay Sante Fe Station. Might want to check a few other places first before playing slots here.

Yelp
my first time visit was several years ago when i was visiting las vegas. beautiful, modern rooms with affordable pricing (covid pricing). fast forward to 2024, i have visited both casino & had a recent stay at their hotel. in my opinion, palms has some of the best customer service in vegas. the staff has always been kind, and gone above and beyond customer service. For my boyfriends birthday, we mistakenly mixed up the comped buffet with the dinner buffet but the ladies working the card service area were able to accommodate my boyfriend and his family! The food on the other hand, was inedible. we ate food at the buffet ( breakfast AND dinner) as well as Serrano Vista Cafe, and were not able to keep anything down at either places. The service is also incredibly slow at Serrano Vista Cafe-- expect to wait 20+ minutes to order and another 40+ minutes for food to come out. The overall casino is well maintained, and I appreciate the open space to walk around . The rooms are always clean, and offer a relaxing vibe after a night out. I have enjoyed everything Palms has to offer, and the service is the reason why I continue to come back. The food selection is pretty bare, so be prepared to choose food from outside the hotel/ casino-- another good thing is that chick fil a is next door, and Chinatown is 5 minutes away.

Yelp
At this point the customer service/phone system is unbelievably trash for a resort casino. I'm on day 2 of with the phone being busy all day or being on hold for an hour. Yes an hour and no one picks up just the recording saying someone will be right with me.a joke! Then when they answer they have a rude demeanor. I do love this hotel but do better please

Yelp
Love this off strip casino not frequented by the annoying tourist crowds. Great staff, comfortable rooms, good dining. Free valet parking. Worth it for gamblers and non gamblers alike.

Yelp
Palm's a very plush casino and hotel. We had (808) Hawaii people gathered to play on a reserved table. We had two days of private craps game with no interruption from outsiders which is the best. The dealers and pit boss were professional and friendly here. California Casino crap area...lots of harassment and threats by dealers. Our table was packed with people that threw one hour plus. Winnie, our host was awesome to set up our group with reservations to see real brunches....more about the restaurant. You should try this casino at least once! It's worth the experience! We are ever so grateful for the accommodations. They have lots of fine dining, mid-range restaurants, and food court(McDonalds, Coffee Bean, Panda Express, Earl of Sandwhich) that will satisfy your appetite. There's a store that has basics, little special items, snacks, and drinks...open 23 hrs a day! They have drawings, prizes, and gifts. They keep you interested. They have a theater for booked entertainment and the casino, food court, bars are packed after a special comedian or show. The rooms are polished. It's a upgraded hotel and casino! I love this place! New competitor of the California Casino & Hotel. Oh, don't touch the refrigerator or snacks on top of dresser area. Any movement of items? You will be charged. My mistake! But other than that, Ciao!!!
