Amazing scallops, they taste so sweet, juicy, and savoury all at once! A bit pricy considering the portion sizes, but that’s not a fault considering we were well aware of it before sitting down :) All in all about £100 for both of us, with wine!

Amazing dining experience. Very formal in ambiance. Love the open kitchen so can see the food being prepped. Had the oysters- chefs kiss Had market fish of the day (monkfish) with Brocoli and Jersey potatoes. Love it. Was soo good and was so full didn't have desert. Went for a business dinner but perfect for date nights, birthdays. Don't be shy to dress up.

Quality, taste, presentation, ambiance and decor are a solid 5 stars. The price point reflects that as well which is appropriate. However, the service on a Friday night was lacking- not sure if the staff was new, but the service needs to reflect the image the restaurant wants to portray. Restaurant staff that I encountered did not have knowledge about the menu. Requested a fish dish without sauce and was served a tasty, albeit, cream drenched black bream. On the menu it stated it was just olive oil. I did not send it back, however I would have not ordered that had I known. I also ordered the oysters and scallops, which were divine. But did not get a single description or introduction of any dishes when presented. Also automatically assumed without asking that I wanted a large sparkling water for a solo diner. For a more refined restaurant, I would expect a little bit more attention to detail. Nonetheless the food was amazing and compliments to the chef, and I wouldn’t mind going back, just hope for little improvements on service.

Peter our host was a knowledgeable , efficient and friendly front of house manager, surrounded by his trusty waiting team. He also has wonderful chef and kitchen assistants , we had a really exceptional meal all three courses were very good. Especially when they managed to produce a GF Raspberry Soufflé for my Coeliac Wife made her night. When after the meal I asked if I could sit out side to smoke my Monte Cristo Petit Edmundo Cigar, he ushered us upstairs to a wonderful secluded roof terrace. He then furnished me with some of the best cognac I have had for a while. All in all the place exudes Quality, Elegance, Style and Excellence, if you are in St Helier you should really make the effort to eat there.

Lovely restaurant with amazing food and great service. Couldn't fault it and not badly priced for the quality of food you get.

Fabulous service from start to finish. Attentive staff. Good wine selection and cocktail list. Food was delicious. 9 of us dined here and we had no complaints. Deposit required as we were a big booking. Restaurant made it possible for us all to sit together. Restaurant prompt to reply to emails.

This place!!! Samphire delivered everything I expected and so much more. Best Dark and Stormy I’ve had for quite some time. The decor and ambiance were welcoming and very comfortable. The service A* bit the food was out of this world. I can’t even explain how incredible the truffle pasta was; heavenly. Filet steak for main cooked to medium rare perfection, just melted in my mouth. Definitely the best restaurant I have visited this year!
