Visited Samsen, the famous Thai fusion restaurant, for a Friday dinner after a long time away and brought some friends trying it for their first time. Arrived at 6:50 PM and saw a line already. We were told the wait time would be around 30 minutes with only 10 groups ahead of us.
However, after checking with the staff multiple times, we were told to "wait a bit more" three times and ended up waiting 70 minutes. It was frustrating, especially since we noticed some groups who arrived later were already eating when we finally got in—made us wonder how the queue system really works, or if there’s any funny business happening.
The reception staff didn’t help the experience either. When the next table was already ready for us, she still didn’t want to let us stand close to the entrance to wait—felt a bit unnecessary, especially since we’re paying customers.
That said, the food was as good and quick as usual, and the overall service inside was okay. But the unreliable wait time and poor reception service left a bad impression this time.
