"If you're expecting Starbucks, move right along. San Fran Coffee is locally owned and has charm and character. This genuine neighborhood coffee shop is a great spot for meeting friends, working, studying, or watching the bustle on Highland. When the weather is nice, the large windows open which gives the shop an outdoorsy feel. Strong coffee, delicious cappuccinos, free wifi, nice mix of chair/table options, a hidden back patio, and a funky variety of music. Word to the wise: there are a shortage of outlets, so charge your laptop battery before heading here." - Dear Elouise

"One of the three locations that make up the Atlanta chain serving up locally-roasted Arabica coffees, this stop along the tour captures Edgewood’s neighborhood charm in a manner free of gratuitous fuss and frill. Free wi-fi and a spacious interior, with plenty of cozy seating, make it a great place to settle in with your laptop. Coffee quality and barista know-how is a step up from your national chain, and they offer some great bites (both sweet and savory) to accompany your brew. While the parking lot is generously sized, commuter beware...it can be packed during weekday morning commutes." - Green Olive Media

Currently visited Atlanta and came here with my boyfriend because the reviews were so good! This place did not disappoint! Loved the atmosphere and everyone was so kind! Lisa was awesome and the matcha latte “the thumb” was perfect. Lavender cold foam (best cold foam ever) and my boyfriend loved the BLT. I also had the breakfast burrito which was soooo delicious and flavorful! This will be the coffee shop I visit each time I come to Atlanta. Everything was perfect ❤️ I would give more than 5 stars if I could and I’m literally heading here now before I catch my flight back to Tampa!

Google
Y’all, I love it here. To start off, the customer experience was unmatched & highly impressive. The good & positive energy was just flowing throughout our time there & that’s greatly appreciated. Lastly, I got the Maple Staple. DE-F***ING-LICIOUS. It’s a cold brew with almond milk & maple syrup; my barista was amazing & didn’t miss the assignment when it came to my coffee being a 8 1/2 on the sweetness scale! Loved the free stickers & vibes!

I've been passing this place for years, but finally stopped in for a latte and quick bite a few weeks ago. I was so happy I did. The Belgian Waffle sandwich was the best sandwich I've had. The eggs and melty cheddar cheese and perfect bacon on you guessed it, yummy Belgian waffles is my new favorite breakfast sandwich. And the unique latte flavors like French Toast, perfect! I love everything I've tried here so far and I'll be back. The staff is really great too and the have a little hidden back patio

Google
Great spot for a quick bite or a remote work sesh. Atmosphere: urban retro warehouse vibes, plenty of 2-/3-top tables, a few tables outside in front and on back patio. Workable: yes- 6/10. Not too noisy, but not super quiet either. Small tables great for solo work. Moderate number of outlets. Food/Drink: in addition to the classic coffee/tea- breakfast/lunch sandwiches, bakery items, & seasonal drinks. Forager Breakfast Burrito was yum✔️ Price: mid-range? Didn’t try their drinks so can’t speak there, but the burrito was worth it. Parking: free lot across the street

Me and my friend went for breakfast Father’s Day morning . It wasn’t very busy. I ordered 1st and got a regular coffee with oat milk and a cinnamon roll. My roommate ordered a latte and avocado toast. The coffee was self serve which was disappointing for a place called coffee co. They didn’t have oat milk at the coffee station so I had to ask again and they gave me a jug from the back to pour in myself. I asked for my cinnamon roll heated when I ordered and it wasn’t so I had to re-ask. They asked my roomate for a name for her order and if she wanted to-go. Neither of which they asked me even thought I went right before. And her food ended up taking so long. The cinnamon roll was good. Not sure if some -ism was a factor but it was a bit uncomfortable for her to have a seemingly completely different service experience

Google
Really yummy food! The menu is a little limited but I think that’s par the course for little coffee shops. What they do have is delicious. It’s got a really great chill vibe. The parking is awkward but there’s a good amount of space. I wanna go back for sure.

Google
Great study/homework spot! Avocado toast was incredible! Good coffee

Google
A classic local second wave coffee shop. Think 1990s. A little pricey for drip when there are third waves nearby but really great, friendly service and lots of space to hang out and meet.

Yelp
My friend and I came here to study per his recommendation. Parking was easy since there are plenty of free spots as well as a lot directly across. It can get incredibly busy here so plan to have a back up plan if you find every table occupied and a minor line of people already waiting. Aka, weekend are the busiest times. There are a fair amount of tables but they are intended for smaller groups, 2-3 people each. Of course they have plenty of coffee options as well as all-day breakfast options plus lunch choices. There are also cold prepared meals but they look a little underwhelming in my opinion. My friend and I split their turkey Swiss on ciabatta bread and Belgian waffle sandwiches. The turkey Swiss was fresh and tasty but did need a little extra mayonnaise and hot sauce. I really enjoyed the waffle since it was slightly caramelized on the outside, negating the need for syrup. Overall, this is a very calm and intimate cafe you can easily spend hours here (if you get a seat). Free WiFi, outlets sporadically available, and kind service. Will come again!

Yelp
one additional (but important) note of feedback: as your friendly neighborhood tree hugger it pains me to no end throwing away coffee bags (they can't be recycled). so my hope is San Francisco Coffee is already researching green solutions (compostable or otherwise) that don't pollute our (already overflowing) landfills. if we can figure out that conundrum it would save a lot of unnecessary waste.

Maya P.

Yelp
Coming here on a random Saturday morning was the best decision I made. The ambience, food, staff and music transports you to an oasis that smells like fresh coffee you want to indulge in. Lisa so was nice in helping me decide what to order and she introduced me to the staff which was so welcoming. Why doesn't this place have 5 stars? You all have a loyal customer in me.

Hannah L.

Yelp
I love this coffee shop. The cafe is spacious with plenty of seating, outlets and fast WiFi. The pastries (especially the biscottis) serve as a perfect pairing to their coffees. Amazing sandwiches and burritos for a coffee shop! While they don't have a designated parking lot, there's plenty of residential street side parking. The employees here are so nice and cordial as well. I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means it's definitely in my top three! Amazing place to go if you need to get work done.

Abdullah P.

Yelp
Great, fairly quiet WFH location. There is limited seating but had no trouble finding a spot. The staff was friendly and the coffee was great!

Anne E.

Yelp
Great service, food, and coffee! Perfect for doing some remote work. Music was a vibe too

Gretel Y.

Yelp
Found myself in the area and in need of coffee, and Apotheos was the closest (and probably best) option! There's a big parking lot on the side of the building. When I arrived around 11am on a Saturday, the lot was almost full but still had a handful of spots open. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating; round top tables with chairs as well as couches. Masks are required and hand sanitizers are provided throughout the cafe. They also ask that you sanitize your hands before entering the restroom. There was a line at the counter, but it moved quickly. I was tempted by the pastry selection and if I didn't have brunch plans, I would have given in. Instead, I ordered a medium cinnamon honey oat milk latte and my friend a small cold brew. Our total came to just a little over $10. Not bad. The barista was friendly and helpful. I don't know what oat milk they use, but my drink was really good! I've found that the wrong oat milk can ruin a cinnamon honey oat milk latte. I prefer my lattes on the sweeter side and was very satisfied by the amount of honey they used. Would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.

Yelp
I've never been to any of the other SF coffee locations in the city but I LOVE the va-hi location. I go multiple times a week for coffee and yummy bites. The decor is not super trendy like most coffee shops these days but it has a great home-y and cozy vibe that lots of places don't have. The staff are always kind and efficient and it's a great place to study, work or meet friends for coffee.

Christina K.

Yelp
This is a great place to study! There are lots of places to sit and lots of coffee options as well as bakery items and even sandwiches! I got the cinnamon roll iced latte that was on their seasonal menu and it was great, although the espresso flavor was a little lacking in my opinion. The people who work there are so friendly though, I will definitely come back, especially since there's a parking lot across the street that's free!

Emily G.

Yelp
Really great people and really great coffee- customer service is 10/10. Love coming here for a cup and even a meal.

Rose F.

Yelp
I had the same bad experience as a lot of the other folks with the one star reviews. Terrible service, rude, very very rude, expensive and worst of all the coffee tastes really bad. The place has a stinky smell. Owner responded with a comment that makes no sense because it's not even me. Take a gander at the multiple one star reviews and think twice about wasting your money in this dump.

Faith D.

Yelp
Great latte and cozy local feel on the inside. The pastries and sandwiches also look awesome

Charles N.

Yelp
One of the best coffee shops in the city. Top-notch coffee, excellent service, delicious noshes. Do yourself a favor and savor a made-in-house cinnamon knot or the enlightened wasabi egg salad and enjoy the historic, lived-in atmosphere of this true neighborhood gem.

Carolina M.

Yelp
I hover between 2 and 3 stars because I don't see what's so great about this coffee shop. I stopped in with my husband to grab something quick and light to eat before my massage appointment. First impressions, this place didn't feel friendly, at least whoever the person was at the cashier. She didn't greet us at all and just stared as we were trying to figure out what they served in the case and on their chalkboard. While she was helpful to hand us a printed menu, which made things much easier, I really felt like we weren't welcomed there. The menu felt limited especially for someone who's pregnant and has to stay away from bacon and deli meats which may have nitrites and nitrates. We did end up getting a bagel to share and my husband got a coffee. Seating was SUPER limited on a Sunday early afternoon. It's a decent size shop with plenty of tables but the problem is that all 12-15 people there had their individual laptops and would each take up a table. Even the bar facing the window had at least 3 people with laptops. We eventually saw one person leave from the bar so we could at least sit together to eat. The food we had was pretty standard. The service and limited seating doesn't compel me to return.

Elyse P.

Yelp
I have been to Apotheos Roastery a few times to do some work, and overall I like the vibe and atmosphere. Parking is relatively easy, there's never been a line or a problem finding a seat with an outlet. Generally the coffee is solid and the snacks are good. One day I went a little crazy and got the Matcha Honey Cortado, and while I like matcha, cortados, and honey, the mix was a bit weird and just kinda felt like drinking grassy coffee... The honey wasn't going to fix that situation, so I'll probably stick to either matcha or coffee in the future.

Todd J.

Yelp
This place is very nice. The personnel that work there are very friendly even giving me a free cup of coffee because I was going to pay cash and they don't accept cash. As usual there are those who make their private business meetings public by talking as if they're in the privacy of their offices but that has nothing to do with the establishment. Top notch and very good coffee.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Great neighborhood coffee shop with plenty of food options as well as space to get work done. Upon walking into this neighborhood joint, you'll see plenty of round top tables available for you to sit and get your work done. The main room has 8 to 10 round top tables varying in 2 to 4 chairs per table. Plenty of seating no matter your group size. There is also a second room past the main dining to the right, which is a little more private and has a handful of tables and chairs available for seating. When I finally decided what I wanted, I approached the counter and the friendly barista answered the questions I had and quickly rang me up. I decided on a simple hot coffee with avocado and tomato toast. The toast is made with Holeman and Finch Bread, so how can it be bad? When you opt for just a plain coffee you pour it yourself. You get your cup, decide which brew you're interested in and then you doctor it up at the bar. I opted for a yummy nutty roast and added some cinnamon and nut meg. Warm and delicious! After a couple of minutes barista called my name and my avocado toast was ready and waiting. The bread was delicious, of course. The avocado was chopped into thin slices and there were fresh chopped tomatoes on top. Salt and pepper was lightly dusted on top of the tomatoes giving it a nice bite. Was it fancy? No. Was it tasty? Abso-freakin-lutely! Both the avocado and tomatoes tasted extremely fresh so I have zero complaints here my friend.

Yelp
This is literally my first review but I feel like I have to tell this! I love this place and I have been coming to SF Coffee in Virginia Highlands for a while over the last year or so. The staff is always nice and polite, the place is cozy, the coffee is good and I love the fact they roast their own beans. I've noticed more than a few times that there's a middle aged blonde lady walking up and down the stairs, kind of lurking around the store, eying things so I assume she's the owner....but she always looks unhappy and I've never seen her say hello to anyone or acknowledge the customers at any point. I know customer service is important to any small business (and it's definitely important to me) so it seems logical that the owner would at least mingle with the clientele to see how they're enjoying their experience, but instead she just seems to be in the way of the staff as they're doing their best to serve people. This isn't to discourage anyone from coming to this nice little spot, but I just wonder how effective it is to skulk around without speaking to the people who frequent your establishment....

Mia B.

Yelp
Cute ambiance and good bakery sweets. The coffee is good too of course. Fun place! I'll definitely be back

Riki L.

Yelp
First time visiting since the name change from San Fran to Apotheos. A lot of the same samples of San Fran, delicious ham and cheese croissants, The only heads up is their small size is SMALL, so if you want what most coffee shops use as a small, you'll have to order a medium here. But I totally recommend it. My oatmilk vanilla latte was mild coffee taste, frothy and delicious. Will be back!

Aishwarya I.

Yelp
I'll admit, I was a bit apprehensive to try this place for a while, as it doesn't look like much from the outside and it has 3.5 stars overall. But y'all, I've been SLEEPING on this place!! I am so glad now to have another excellent coffee shop option in VaHi. The espresso here is incredible; I got the "cake in a cup" which tasted like a sweet breve and it was amazing. The pastries look tempting, though I didn't get one today. Parking is super easy with the spacious lot on Highland just past the front entrance, and there's no limit to how long you can stay. It was a bit busier than I was expecting for a rainy Wednesday morning, but luckily they have a nice outdoor patio area as well that was quieter and more spacious than I was expecting. 5 stars for the outstanding coffee--I can't believe I overlooked this place for so long.

Sara K.

Yelp
A lot of parking directly across the street and some street parking. A bench outdoors and two European styled small patio table and chairs. When I went, all the indoor dining was closed.

Erica G.

Yelp
I walked into this cozy coffee shop & was greeted by a young barista. He was friendly & welcoming. I mentioned it was my first time in the shop, I took my time to look around & read the menu. I read in the Yelp reviews that the Mexican Mocha was really good (& it was!) so I ordered that. They also had a cute cupcake in their display case, so I bought that too. The cupcake was pumpkin spice flavored with cream cheese frosting. If you've ever had carrot cake, that's how it tasted. I enjoyed the pairing of the cupcake with my mocha. The mocha was super chocolate-y with lots of foam on top! I really had a good experience at SFC. There were lots of professionals here working on their laptops & having coffee. There was also a group of senior men drinking various coffees & talking about what old men talk about. I like to see older people hanging out together, it makes me happy. They have many small circular tables for people. I grabbed one in the corner, logged onto the free wifi & killed the 30 minutes I had. If I was in the area, I'd stop in again for a coffee & chill. Pluses for this coffee shop are free parking, free wifi, great coffee, good vibes & I didn't notice any annoying music which some reviews mentioned.

Yelp
Man, I haven't been to a San Francisco Coffee in several several years. So when I was looking for time to kill before an event, and needed some WiFi access, I popped into the nearby Coffee shop. Located off of N. Highland Ave, literally right next door to the N. Highland Post office, I decided to try one of their Strawberry cupcakes (didn't catch the price) and a cup of their peppermint herbal tea ($2.65) I usually don't go for Strawberry flavored cupcakes, but this one looked delicious, and it tasted nice! Not as soft, but filled with strawberry bits, with a strawberry icing on top. Very sweet, but very good. The Herbal peppermint tea actually was suggested because I asked for their least caffeinated drink because drinking any caffeine in the afternoon keeps me up very late. The peppermint tea hade a nice strong flavor, without being overpowering, and it was a nice hot beverage. Several small tables litter the inside of the interior, as well as tables at a window side bar. Don't forget the rear patio too! The interior has a nice homey feel, with bare floors, brown wood finishes and friendly staff. Parking at this San Francisco Coffee is shared with several other restaurants in the rear, and getting in and out of this lot is fairly easy. Would I come back here again? Absolutely! I like the atmosphere here and if I lived closer, i'd Pay them visits more often. Hope you get to check them out soon!

Darren H.

Yelp
Thank God the coffee places are opening back up again. If the pandemic has taught me anything it's taught me that I cannot make a good cup of coffee. San Francisco is one of my favorite places around town is because they make a great Chai and a type of chai I love and have never had before. The team at San Fran is always friendly and fast with your drinks. This one is a little further from me as it's in Vi-Hi but to get my favorite Chai it's worth the trip. Parking can be had either across the street or behind the building. While you pay them a visit take note of the other restaurants around and give them some love as well, let's always look to spend locally.

Tiff H.

Yelp
I love coffee and I love Virginia Highlands. This cute little coffee shop is the best of both. Street parking was easy to find, although I overestimated how far out I would need to park. As I walked toward the shop, I realized I could have parked much closer than I did. The inside was pretty empty, probably because they were closing in an hour (7 PM). The interior was simple and rustic but a relaxing place to get work done or just get some serious social media time in. The barista helped me as soon as he saw me walk toward the counter, which isn't right in the doorway. I wandered around to find the register for a little bit. I ordered a chai latte, which may have been a mistake since it was super filling right before my 7 PM all you can eat tapas dinner. However, it was a great pick me up for a long hard day at work and a terrible workout at the gym. Next time I'm in the area, I'm going to try to pick up some coffee or espresso. From the looks of the bar behind the counter, there are some serious beans to be ground.

Peg S.

Yelp
The breakfast sandwiches are wonderful and tasty! I also really loved the peach iced tea.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Employees are poorly compensated and the turnover is evident. The blends are inconsistent and often over roasted.

Pollyana D.

Yelp
Love coming here and grabbing a cappuccino. Their medium cappuccino is a double but they don't charge you any more than regular price for it. Coffee quality is amazing and baked goods are awesome. Their Nutella biscotti is a must try.

Jordan W.

Yelp
I had been a frequent visitor to this coffee spot's former iteration, San Francisco Roasters, for years, and I was recently intrigued by its name change to Apotheos, and thought it was time for a visit with fresh eyes on a recent Sunday morning. I was delighted to see that, despite the name change, this spot has continued to be an excellent place for excellent coffee, and probably the preeminent coffee shop in this part of town. Although usually a hot coffee person, I opted for a delicious iced soy latte to suit the balmy weather, and she got the predictably good cold brew with oat milk. The stand-out, however, was the caramel biscotti, which was perfectly crumbly and vanilla-scented with big specks of decadent, chewy caramel. Their regularly rotating biscotti selection is a real treat. In normal times, the dining area is one of the coziest spots in the city, but nowadays, I always feel safe here due to their well organized and well spaced line that puts COVID concerns at ease. Apotheos is a go-to when in Virginia Highland, and I look forward to continuing to frequent this spot in the future.

Jade P.

Yelp
I just moved to the area and decided to walk here for my first time with my pet dog. There was no sign to indicate that there was a "no pets allowed" policy, so i decide to go in to get quick to go coffee. I waited in line for a few minutes, and they only decided to kick me out once i made it to the register. I offered to quickly order and patiently wait outside of the building to prevent breaking their health-code violation, but i was rudely shut down and aggressively asked to leave. Please keep in mind there was only a few customers there at the time, and they were definitely in no rush hour to be so aggressive to me. If you want a pet (and human) friendly cafe, just walk a few blocks down to PERC where their service is amazing!

Louise S.

Yelp
Open again! I love this coffee shop and its coffee. I had to mail order their coffee during COVID closing so I could make it at home. Their quiches, cinnamon knots and ham and cheese knots are my go to favorites. Looking forward to the time when I can hang out in their seating areas, along with half the neighborhood, reading the paper and working on my computer.

Lisa F.

Yelp
I never got a chance to taste the coffee or anything else. This review is purely on the staff. I walked in this morning about 5 mins prior to opening (unbeknownst to me - 1st visit) and the guy behind the counter came up to me very aggressively with his arm up and said no, no, trying to push me out we are not open. Walking me out the doors backward and locked the door. I'm a business owner if you have the door unlocked and a customer walks in, even if you're not open, you say, my apologies we are not open yet, we will be opening in 5 minutes. You don't aggressively put someone out. I was enroute to the gym so I wasn't looking professional (it's a coffee shop not sure that was necessary) but I had a wallet in hand - I surely wasn't looking like a homeless person. So, I'm not certain why the person was so abrupt with me. I won't be returning to this establishment. I have been driving by on my way to work for over 3 years and was always pressed for time and never able to stop and the day I was able to do so, this happened.

Marisa F.

Yelp
I like this spot mostly for its ambiance. It has a local coffee shop hipster kind of feel with a wall of book exchange and comfy couch options. The menu offerings are coffee shop typical : sandwiches, baked goods, coffee. They may be limited on their outlets though - looking around, no ones really plugged in. There's two hour parking available right in front of the store.

Nishant G.

Yelp
Great food, great coffee, great service, great venue, great prices. Great place to hang out and get work done, or play a game of chess. They have wifi, couches, tables, and soft music. No complaints :)

Anita B.

Yelp
This is the best coffee in the Midtown/VaHi area...hands down! There are 2 locations on North Highland Ave, this is the one closer to the heart of the Virginia Highlands and a short walk from Virginia Ave NE. They roast all their own coffee at this location downstairs. They have several house roast available at a given time. All their coffees are really well balanced - my favorite of their roasts is their Old Whaler's Blend. Their coffees are always fresh and a cup of drip coffee is larger than most other places and affordably priced between $1-2.50. They also have delicious premixed iced coffees. I usually order a Rock n Roll which is their iced coffee with a shot of espresso and their house made flavor syrups with some cream to top it off. So refreshing on a hot summer day! The space is cozy and a great space to work although it is hard to find a place to sit during the day because everyone else also has the same idea. The also have a back patio that is accessible only through the restaurant. Therefore not dog friendly. I've never tried the food there but they have some breakfast and lunch options as well as pastries.

JP T.

Yelp
Super friendly place and great coffee. Service has always been quick and employees are nice. One of the better spots in Atlanta, and definitely the best in VAHI. Other places, like PERC, have been slow and rude with meh coffee at best.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Came here today to get some work done and really enjoyed myself. It was such a beautiful day and they had the windows open and I ended up just people watching for a large part of the afternoon. I had an iced Chai tea, pretty standard stuff. It's in a little happening area, I found parking easily but I can see it being a pain during certain times. There also weren't a ton of plugs but I still enjoyed myself enough to come back!

Lyndenise B.

Yelp
Wanted to find a place to meet with a friend to talk and do some work. Someone recommended that I try this place out and I'm glad I did! The location is great and hey have plenty of parking right across the street. Pros: - great parking - simple menu with coffee and small bites - large windows that are perfect for spring days - indoor and outdoor seating - delicious coffee Cons: - It was way too loud (music is loud so then people have to talk above it) - only a handful of plugs which is inconvenient if you want to stay a while to do some work) Overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely come back!!

Alexis T.

Yelp
One of the best cups of coffee shop coffee I've had in Atlanta. I met a friend for a quick cup and had an Americano that was affordable (around $3 I believe for a medium) served quickly and absolutely delicious. I've had a cup of their drip on a previous occasion and it was also delicious. I frequently find "plain" coffee is burnt or tasteless at coffee shops, but found no such issue at SF. Overall, there was plenty of parking in the lot behind the store and a good amount of seating of all styles throughout. I'll definitely be back!

Heather H.

Yelp
Went for my first visit today and it is so good! I had an ice mocha and it is one of the best I've ever had! The people are so nice too! I will definitely be back!

Laura K.

Yelp
By far one of my favorite places for a mild brew coffee. Always consistent which is the key to any establishment. And love the staff and the owner!

Lindsey L.

Yelp
Stopped in here my first morning in Atlanta on my weekend visit. Really loved this place. They have a good selection of breakfast options besides pastries which is a nice change than most coffee shops. I got a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and turkey sausage on multigrain toast. Their cold brew coffee was delicious. I'd love to come back here the next time I'm in ATL.

Mallory A.

Yelp
Love this coffee shop but this location has permanrenyly closed down. Really wish they would update their info online so customers don't drive out of their way for no reason

Joel S.

Yelp
Like people watching? Go here. I really enjoyed visiting San Francisco Coffee. This was my first visit, and I told the barista, who greeted with "We've been wondering where the hell you've been!" He had a good grip on the menu and helped me make a good decision. I had a pour-over and one of their Parmesan biscuits. I stayed for a couple hours just to read my book, and I found myself around all kinds of different people, who probably have more interesting lives than I do. The coffee was just the cherry on top.

T W.

Yelp
It's been a while since I left a review, but had to because I couldn't understand why this place gets such low stars. After reading lower reviews, I guess people aren't aware that it's the 21st century and that lattes and the like aren't dollar diner coffees. Overall, I've enjoyed my multiple visits to this location. They offer yummy seasonal latte flavors and yet a regular vanilla latte is still great. The interior is cozy craftsmen with exposed walls and ceilings, yet it all feels like you could bunker down for a wonderful coffee date with your wife (that's what I do). As far as the service, I've yet to have a bad experience, so maybe this has improved since earlier reviews. Finally, despite how busy it always seems, my order always gets fulfilled in a surprisingly timely manner.

Yelp
Very cozy place, latte is very good, great view, service excellent, clean place. Free Wifi, there is parking lot, several tables.

Yelp
While this place is expensive, it's nice to have a place that really has strong coffee and that can make a killer cappuccino. Ambiance is nice - small tables inside, seating available outside.

Yelp
C loves this place. Every time he is in town, he makes a visit. Today, after lunch, we wandered to the Highlands- I hadn't been here in several years and enjoyed a leisurely time with several cups of coffee (get it "for here" in their nice mugs). Seating is a little limited as far as the really comfy chairs go, and there is always a steady flow of people so grab space when you can; in nice weather, the back porch (I hadn't noticed it till today) is a great choice. All the usual coffee drinks and yummy desserts too - next time they are on my list!
