Unpopular opinion: dim lights NEED to go … enough about the ‘vibes’. I actually want to see my food and company!! One more light bulb won’t hurt the ambiance, I promise !! Had a little dinner with some friends in a cozy part of the city <3 we chose this spot because of the rare promise of affordable food in the East Village (unheard of). I’ve already forgotten what I ordered but it was something whole wheat & lots of sauce. I was grateful they had that in their menu. Whole wheat is so underrated !! And. Complimentary stale cold bread .. I’ll take another plate of that , please & thank you :) Service & the waitstaff were a god send. We made a mistake of underestimating the power of a Friday night. So everyone & their aunts were dining here. Fortunately we were able to opt for the 45 minute dine & go action. We were on a time crunch! But everyone was friendly & understanding. A little suspicious that our food came out so fast but no point in thinking about THAT. overall it was a good experience.

Had a wonderful experience here! The good was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very chill. The pear and gorgonzola ravioli and the pesto caprese panini were both soo good. The prices were also not bad at all, totally worth it for what we were served. Also, the desserts are amazing! We had the cannoli and ricotella and highly recommend them both!

This is my favorite brunch spot in nyc. It’s unbelievably affordable but now it’s too popular. It gets very loud indoors so just come with good company and join along. The service is always wonderful and I’ve been here quite a few times. I tried the Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli once and I highly recommend it if you’re willing to try something new and delicious. All their fresh pasta is amazing. My favorites are the rigatoni with the wild boar ragú, I add sausage with ricotta and Parmesan. Such a great combination! I’ve done the unlimited mimosas, they’re nice and sweet and have tried their brunch. It may not be the most filling but worth trying out.

Don’t go there is you want to miss a GEM! 50$ dinner with unlimited wine/sangria/beer (I mean, where else would you get the same offer in nyc???!) The staff is very attentive and professional, food comes fast and is absolutely delicious! House wine and sangria are amazing!!! My favorites are: pasta with shrimps and white souse and ravioli with Gorgonzola , pears and walnuts 😍

the brunch food is very mediocre, I would def go for the pasta next time. Bottomless brunch was a good deal but they don’t tell you there’s a time limit, so it’s not very bottomless after all. We were cut off early even though everyone in our party was chatting and eating still — the check was also brought out like an hour early while we were still eating the food which was interesting…

Great food and amazing prices for New York! Very busy so make a reservation ahead of time (as much as you can). Packed in there all the time which is a green flag for sure! Great food and wine overall!🍷🍶🍝🍞🥖🍤🥗🍕

Adorable little restaurant with great vibes! One of my personal favorite spots for brunch - delicious pasta and the bottomless mimosas are a great combination. Highly recommend!

San Marzano Pasta Fresca is a fantastic spot, especially for those on a budget. The eggplant Parmesan appetizer was tasty, while the crispy Brussels sprouts added a delightful crunch. The main course of fresh pasta with kale and sausage was cooked perfectly al dente, showcasing a wonderful balance of flavors. The quality of the food combined with reasonable prices makes it a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy a casual good Italian meal and vibrant ambiance without breaking the bank. It's a hidden gem and hard to beat this dining experience in the city!

Was in the area and I came in for lunch after working all morning, wanted something easy and chill. The two girls working (Maggie and Gia) were very kind and helpful. I've never been here before, but both of them gave me great recommendations and excellent service. Honestly I never leave reviews but the costumer service here was so good I had to.

I made a reservation for 6:30 for a group of 12 and we got seated about 15 minutes later than that because a group was wrapping up at our table. That being said, we were asked exactly at 8 pm to get up because another reservation was coming to take our table which meant that we didn't get the full 90 minutes as advertised. Keep that in mind when you're ordering! It also wasn't our server that told us we had to leave which was interesting. 2 other workers separately came up to tell us to leave within 3 minutes. If you're doing the pre-fixed menu and bottomless beverage, I would recommend asking for a pitcher right at the jump. The white sangria was tasty and those that ordered the red sangria thought that as well. Appetizers were tasty. I would skip the eggplant but everything else was very good. The vodka sauce pasta was mid. The gluten free pasta was very good. Others got the pesto and enjoyed as well. Overall, it was a rushed experience but solid price point for what you're getting.

A great spot for birthday dinners and large groups of people! There's plenty of food so no one will go hungry and at $55 per person it's honestly not a bad deal. My favorites at San Marzano are the arugula salad (so refreshing and delicious), the creamy and comforting arancini and the antipasto platter which had all my favorites including burrata, olives, artichokes, etc. The apps here are fantastic and I would definitely come by again just for em. The pastas were alright. The ravioli with caramelized onions was definitely one of the better ones but the actual sauces they had paired with their pastas were honestly mediocre. The unlimited wine and sangria did help with that though, and we still had a great dinner. We also managed to get tiramisu and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert, both delicious. Definitely worth hosting a dinner party here!

And yet again, another amazing dinner indulging in their fresh pasta! I'm back visiting and this gem is on top of the TO DO list! Midweek dinner with fam was perfection! We got seated right away. The vibe was lively, moody, groups of people enjoying the food and drinks! Such an awesome spot for dinner! We ordered a pitcher of red sangria, in my opinion, better than the white. And then we ordered another, it's that good! For appetizers, we tried the crispy arancini balls. The order came with 3 balls and they were full of delicious cheesy rice goodness, served with marinara sauce. The eggplant parm appetizer was tasty and not slimy. The cheesy garlic bread was soft and flavorful. I'm slightly obsessed with their gluten free mini rigatoni and their Vecchia Bettola, the tomato vodka sauce! Chef's kiss *! So delicious! I love adding their spicy sausage and ricotta! Something about both of those additions really elevates this savory pasta dish. Then of course, topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. It's just as good as the last time and the time before that. The consistency with the flavors, portions, and freshness is the same -- every single time! Service was excellent and quick! Overall, out of this world, fun dinner! Don't sleep on this spot!

True little gem off of Second Ave. It is across the street from the Orpheum Theatre, so a perfect spot to check out before going to an off-Broadway show. Came in as a walk-in, there was a wait of about an 1-hour-1.5. We were seated in about 20mins or so which was awesome. I was pleasantly surprised due to this being a very last minute impulse decision. Opted for a bottle of champagne & the garlic + mozzarella appetizer. For entrees, we both chose the CAMPANELLE shaped pasta. I went with the PESTO sauce, which was very flavorful. My friend went with the MAIALIND sauce, it was a light butter sauce mixed with kale & spicy sausage; it also was very yummy. Service was good. It definitely was a full house for a busy Friday night. Overall, I was pleased with my dining experience. 5 stars especially for spending under $90 for an appetizer, a bottle of Prosecco & 2 entrees. If you want a yummy Italian food, all made to order, both fresh & flavorful check this spot out ! I will be back soon ! My tummy is excited

Stopped in on a holiday morning and they were able to get us a table pretty quickly even though it was packed. Food was really tasty and affordable -- our whole bill for 2 people with tip and tax was under $50. I had the chicken panini which was on a fabulous toasted baguette and definitely had leftovers. My friend got the CYO pasta and she also enjoyed hers. We split the tiramisu which was coffee-heavy and delicious. The place has tons of natural light and is very alive!

This is not a spot for a causal dinner. It's very loud and packed tight! But the deal is something that cannot be beat especially for a special occasion. Bottomless wine, 3 apps and a pasta for $55! The service was good, our waitress did the best she could given the chaotic energy of the restaurant on a Friday night, she kept a smile on her face and was very polite! I would return for another special occasion! Important to note that the portions are pretty small!

More of a 3.5 star spot but it's one of the few more affordable pasta spots in the city, they have fair portion sizes and is always packed at dinner time. It's pretty loud inside and gets crowded, but it's a nice place to catch up with friends over a pitcher of sangria. Their pasta isn't show stopping but gets the job done, though definitely get the garlic bread!!

Perfect if you're in your 20's and looking for a cheap meal and cheap drinks. It's a very safe space - company is good and food is good for the price. I usually get the rigatoni bolognese with an insane amount of parmesan. ambiance is nice and service is always great!! If you're looking to do a reservation here, it become less worth it since the starting ticket is a required $55 min per person. This $55 comes with bottomless but when the original prices of drinks are so cheap it's hard to say it's completely worth it...but I'm also a lightweight.

If you want to go to a restaurant that will honor your reservation, this is not the place. They will force you to move your reservation and then cancel it when you try to show up for the new time by telling you that you no showed to your original reservation. Our party had a reservation. We received a call from the restaurant stating that they overbooked so we needed to accept that our reservation was now an hour later or our reservation was cancelled. Whatever, we accepted it. We tried to arrive to our new reservation time and we were told our reservation was cancelled because we no showed to our original reservation. We double checked the phone number and it was from the restaurant. Their resolution was that we could maybe be seated 2 hours later.

Great pasta at an affordable price! However this place feels like an NYU dining hall. The patrons and waitstaff are all very young so it contributes to the overall college restaurant ambiance. I haven't been here since I was college aged and let me just say it was a humbling experience to be one of the oldest people in a restaurant at the ripe old age of 25. If your ego can get past that fact, I would recommend San Marzano because they have a great pasta! You can build your own combination or get a prefixed one. I tried the pear ravioli and it was amazing! It punches way above its weight in terms of price to taste. Their ragu is also pretty good! We went around 3pm on a Saturday and didn't have to wait long since the brunch crowd had just passed.

On a rainy Monday night, they were able to seat us (a group of 6) as a walk-in. There was no free bread for our table. I was disappointed with the pastas. Surprisingly, the best one was the pear and gorgonzola ravioli. I was sure I wouldn't like it because the cheese is so strong but this didn't really have a strong aftertaste and it was more of a really creamy pasta. The arancini balls were good- good size and flavor. The baby arugula and Caesar salad were good. I would skip the garlic bread with mozzarella- it wasn't really good tasting bread. Out of all the pasta sauces, we liked the vodka sauce. I liked the pesto. Everything else was just mid- the pasta was a little more than al dente too. The pesto caprese panini was average and was lacking flavor. Compared to Forma, I was unimpressed with this place.

Build your own pasta! great price and i totally recommend the brussel sprouts. soft and flavorful. the pasta was amazing too, the sauce was smooth and the pasta was chewy and delicious.

tl;dr: very reasonably priced brunch in East Village with great food! I went for brunch with a large group on a Saturday afternoon, and they were very accommodating. For large brunch reservations, each person can get either the virgin prefix for $20 or the bottomless prefix for $30. I got the virgin prefix, which includes lattes, orange juice, etc. and one entree. The pear and gorgonzola ravioli was delicious, but *very* decadent. Our group was served quickly and asked to leave exactly 1.5hrs after our reservation time, since it gets pretty packed on weekends.

I came to San Marzano for the first time years ago to try the Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli and it changed my life so I have to come back regularly. All of their pastas are made in house so they're fresh, bouncy, and delicious. Everything is extremely reasonably priced including their $6 sangrias which are pretty good. Last time I tried their garlic bread and although it was good, it was pretty crunchy and cut up my mouth so I probably would not get it again. It has a relaxed vibe and is perfect for a quick eat. Must get: Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli

Thee best Brunch deal in the city in my opinion!! It's Friday-Sunday from 11am-4pm and bottomless is only $14 (with food purchase) with all food items ranging from $11-14. My absolute favorite part is that they have more "brunch" classics like french toast and benedicts as well as their pastas which are sooo good! I am personally more of a savory breakfast girly so this really makes me happy, especially when I am not quite in the mood for breakfast foods but still want to do brunch with my friends. They're awesome about constantly refilling our glasses and they don't require everyone at the table to do bottomless, which was so nice when we had a friend who didn't want to drink. Honestly, my only qualm is that it isn't closer! East village is cute but a bit of a pain to get to for me.

Went for brunch, tons of sunlight came in the restaurant and so freaking cheap for brunch. $20 for a plate of pasta and coffee. If you got mimosas it was $29 unlimited which is great. I got pear and Gorgonzola raviolia and was great. Honestly price alone I like. Such a fun vibe, while it was a bit hectic it wasn't in a bad way it was inviting. The servers were extremely kind and everything was really quick to come in and out!

I can't speak to the dinner vibes, but let me tell you-- weekday lunch, no one's around, and the interior vibes are immaculate. It's literally just so pretty, and there are so many windows with natural light coming in, and it's a whole thing. My cousin and I were so hungry, so we split three pastas, and you can't beat this price ($14!!). We tried the ravioli, ragu, and maialino. The ravioli was definitely the most unique, with a hint of sweetness from the pears and the richness of the cheese, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Definitely recommend if you like a sort of sweet and savory pairing. I thought the ragu was okay, but the pappardelle was a bit soft and I wanted it to be more al dente. Maialino was probably my favorite! It was lighter and had some veggies to make you feel better about the pasta. We also tried the brussels sprouts, which I'd also recommend if you like a crunchy, fried brussel sprout. You can't beat it with bacon, and they also include apples with it to add some balance to the dish. I wish the apples were cut more and that the brussels were ever so slightly less burnt, but still a star.

Pasta was really good and freshly hand made and such a good price. Everyone at the restaurant was enjoying their night so much and had a good vibe. Would definitely come back. The pitcher of sangria was amazing.

A great find for a relaxed Italian dinner! BUT I do not think the prix fixe menu is worth it for 2 people unless you're drinking a lot. We paid $146 after tip and tax, and I don't think the food or portions warranted that price. For appetizers, my boyfriend and I got the burrata, arancini, and meatballs. All were good and reasonable portions! Arancini were yummy but were pure rice and cheese, I would have enjoyed them more with some onion or more seasonings. For the main my boyfriend and I both ordered the pesto campanelle (he added chicken). The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. For drinks we got a pitcher of sangria. Again- if you're drinking a lot the prix fixe is probably worth it, but if not, just stick to the cheap appetizers and $14 mains!

Came here for my birthday on a Tuesday night. It was not super busy so easy to get a reservation. The fixed menu is good for a bigger group as it makes the ordering and pricing easy to manage. However, the apps were unimpressive, the antipasto had no presentation. It looked like one I could do myself. The salad and Brussel sprouts were average. The pastas were simple and tasty but took forever to come out. The server was uninterested in us, she took a while to take our orders and did not have any enthusiasm. We saw her hanging out by the bar on her phone for a while. I also had put in the reservation it was my birthday and there was no mention of it from staff. Our server also added the tip on already even though we weren't a group of 6+. Overall, for $45 a person, it was quantity over quality but not worth for a special occasion.

Came here for brunch. It's ok, average. We were seated pretty quickly at the bar. Very loud, not a place to be if you want to have a conversation. Food was ok. The Crab Benedict could have used more crab. If you like a bottomless mimosa place, they were churning them out, so this would be a good place for that. If you're looking for a high quality brunch menu however, then this may not be the place for you.

This is a solid place for cheap! Even though the tables were pretty close to each other, I really liked the dim ambiance of the restaurant. We started off with the brussels sprouts which could've used more consistent seasoning but they weren't bad at all. I ended up really liking my pear and gorgonzola ravioli entree because it was pretty flavorful and creamy. I lowkey wished the portion was bigger but it also was only $15 so I'm not complaining. I think the low price made it taste even better. The only odd thing about my experience was when I asked for no walnuts and the waiter wanted to know if it was a preference or allergy. I can see how maybe the food safety protocol would differ depending on which, but it was a bit awkward having to explain myself. I am still definitely coming back here for more pasta and their cheap sangria next time!

Went here twice in the month I was in NYC. I tried red sauce and eggplant sauce, as well as the sausage kale one. Both were tasty! $14 for fresh pasta in Manhattan cannot be beat! The service was good both times and our waiter came and refilled our waters regularly even though we were sitting outside. Our table was part of the street side seating both times with lovely weather so it added to the experience as well. If you go for brunch they also have unlimited mimosas you can add on for another $14. Really good value overall. The only reason for 3 stars is the following- On my second visit, I went with a group of 5. After paying the bill we realized they accidentally charged us for two extra pastas that we had not ordered (probably from a previous tab). This itself was not an issue but the process of getting a refund was more arduous than I would have expected. The server was apologizing profusely and apparently he had to call the owner and explain the situation to give the refund. When he called the owner seemed to be berating him for what was just a mistake. I requested he refund my transaction fully and give me a new correct bill to pay as I had paid taxes and tip on the extra entrees cost. The manager would not really allow him to do it and insisted that he only needed to refund me for the entrees values? I quickly became uncomfortable with the server being caught in the middle and decided it was not worth it despite the principle of the situation. As I was heading out the server tried offering me cash from his own tips which broke my heart! I of course refused his money but my ensuing thoughts about the owner and how they may be treating their employees left an unsavory taste... Obviously, they have to run a tight ship since they have such low prices but still, I feel the owner should have 1) instantly approved issuing me the refund and given me a new bill and 2) been kinder to the server.

!!! Last time I came, the waiter accidentally overcharged us for a few items we didn't order. We noticed on the receipt and asked for a refund after paying, but the waiter had to call the owner since they couldn't issue refunds without the owner's approval. We got a refund, but asked to have our tax adjusted as well since we were charged more tax from the overcharge. HOWEVER, WE WERE BAFFLED because the owner told the poor waiter that he had to PAY US THE DIFFERENCE WITH HIS OWN TIPS. That is insane!!! We ended up telling him that it's okay and we didn't want him to have to pay for the tax difference with his tip money because we just felt bad. They need to treat their employees better. However...this is why I used to like this place: 1. $12 pasta where you can mix and match sauce and pasta shape 2. Bottomless mimosa brunch spot

The pesto sauce was practically a green soup. I've had a better cesar salad at the Panera Bread drive thru. The meatballs were raw. The burrata was terribly plated. It was WAY too loud and over crowded. I was getting knocked around by everyone passing by to get to the restroom or kitchen. The white sangria tasted like it was days old. Overall, will NOT be going back here. And will NOT be recommending to anyone.

Overall: perfectly located with plenty of seating at an exceptionally good price. It was so reasonably priced I was SO tempted to order a second plate of pasta hahah. Food: since this place is mix and match I'll talk about them separately. The pasta (clearly made in house/fresh) is exactly the al dente you wish you could do at home. That starchy bite with a chew you feel the texture of the pasta. The sauces we got were ragu, vodka, and maialino(?). The ragu was almost like bolognese if you amped up the flavor and richness 100%. The vodka sauce was that perfect balance you want in creamy and tomatoey acidic. The maialino is the white sauce that isn't just milky creamy and heavy. The sausage flavor amps it up and the veggies make you feel a bit healthier. The Brussels sprouts definitely could've used some sort of glaze or a little bit of olive oil but my my my they were crispy. Ambience/Decor/Service: we sat outside on a beautiful day so it was great but not sure what it's like inside! Service was a bit slow bc there were SO many tables and corners and areas to cover but we got in and got out real quick.

This place is pretty popular and busy. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed. I got the maialino and it was really good. The spicy sausages added a lot of flavor to the pasta. It was also paired with a nice butter sauce made it super flavorful and delicious. The wild boar ragu was a good tomato and beef sauce base. It was also very delicious. The sangria is also super tasty. I loved the white sangria. Overall this place is very popular and the food was great.

Great after work dinner date, happy hour or just an unwind date. Waiters were very attentive, continuously brought us water throughout the unlimited mimosas round, as we ate and conversed. Music was lively and the place was just romantically impeccable. Loved it.

The perfect place for brunch which had a bottomless mimosa and entree set deal for $29! The service was amazing and our glasses were never empty for long. The portions were on the smaller side and were not that special, although the french toast was a group favorite. Also loved the interior as there were large windows that allowed for lots of sun to shine into the restaurant.

Stopped by San Marzano for some dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our meal! We didn't make any reservations but thankfully they were able to seat us after a few minutes of waiting. The restaurant is warm and cozy. I was surprised at how affordable the pastas were relative to all of the other Italian restaurants I've been to in NYC. I enjoyed the choose your own pasta and sauce element. We ended up getting the Rigatoni with Vecchia Bettola and Campanelle with shrimp scampi. Both were delicious! The pasta was cooked al dente and the sauces were both well done. Is it THE BEST pasta I've ever had? Probably not but it was still very good and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and considering that the pasta is $14 I'd say it's a solid option! We came right at 12pm so there was not a wait, but right after we got a table the restaurant started filling up. We went there to specifically try one of their make your own pastas as well as their famous Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli. The ravioli was decent. It was an interesting combination having walnuts in a pasta dish and the dish overall was creamy and flavorful. However, I did not taste much pear flavor. For the Pesto Tagliatelle w/Spicy Sausage dish we got, the pasta was a little overcooked but it was flavorful and I liked the touch with fresh mozzarella. The meat was an additional $4 which I may do without next time since there was not much sausage given. In addition, it was not spicy either! Considering the price, it's a pretty good deal especially in NYC. However, be warned that the portions are small and so if you're extra hungry then you may need to order an additional dish to share with someone. It gets a little loud inside during busy times! We came to San Marzano for a large group dinner at 5pm. The waiter was very insistent that we had to leave by 6:35pm, which seemed a bit stressful for him and for us. He really put the pressure on us to order quickly. We ordered a few appetizers of meatballs and burrata. Everything came out quickly and was very tasty. I ordered the rigatoni "Maialino" which had sausage and kale. It was delicious. The pasta was tender, and the flavor of the sauce was light yet creamy. I was a big fan! We didn't get to try any dessert. I don't know if we ran out of time or if it was not part of the pre fix. Drinks were unlimited and included in the price. I would consider coming back again!

Cool concept where you can make your own fresh pasta with very affordable prices Food: we ordered the Brussels sprouts as an app, which were really good! I got the rigatoni with pesto and added ricotta! I didn't need the ricotta because it was already very cheesy! We also got the pear and Gorgonzola ravioli, which was pretty good (I'd order this premade one as my main next time). Price: for pasta in nyc - it's very cheap! The pasta is $14 without any additions! Service: good service! Ambience: we sat outside which was nice! The inside looks beautiful

I'm going to be frank - if you're looking for good italian in the city, there are many better places to go! The ambience in the restaurant was lovely - there was so much natural light coming in from the windows, it was chatty and lively inside, and there was a good energy coming from the place. The servers were also very kind and sweet to us. However, the food was simply not good. It was EXTREMELY salty - all three of us ordered different dishes and were chugging water the entire dinner because of how salty it was. The only thing we really enjoyed was the garlic mozzarella bread. I ordered the pear and walnut ravioli, another friend got the wild boar ragu, and the other got the bolognese - all three were very salty and not that enjoyable. The flavors were good - just less salt please!

Had dinner here before heading the The Big Gay Jamboree across the street. Loved that I was able to make a reservation and the price fixe menu was a great value. They kept the wine flowing, didn't rush us out of our table and we got plenty of food.

I love that New York is full of unassuming and affordable pasta places. It makes me so happy in a city that is crazy expensive to have these affordable "luxuries". We came at around 6 pm on a weekend dinner and were surprised to be able to find a table immediately. However, the table we sat at was problematic because the window had just cracked 1 minute beforehand due to the heater on the outside. They taped it up and kept taking pictures of it which got us a bit worried, but we took our chances anyway. - Rigatoni Maialino - This is not the best pasta you will ever have but it's very affordable. I appreciate the portion sizes as they were fairly big and the rigatoni carried all the sauce very well. I wish the kale was a bit more crispy but I appreciate the flavors regardless. Next time I think I will try the Shrimp Scampi. - Garlic Bread - Not super impressed by the garlic bread as there weren't a lot and also it didn't have that much garlic flavor on it. Wish it had more of a crispy texture on the outside and a soft and fluffy texture on the inside. - Tiramisu - They gave this to us for free after the window cracked which was nice of them so +1. I love how strong the coffee flavor was in the sponge cake as it felt like you were just drinking coffee straight up. I wish the cream was a bit more light. Overall not a bad experience at all especially if you're looking for a cheap eat at a nice place. I think the most problematic part was the cracked window, but nothing happened to us anyways. Maybe we're taking too many chances?

You gotta get the Brussel Sprouts to start with - they have the perfect crunch, and it's topped with bacon and thin apple crisps, YUM!! Straight-forward menu with different combos for pastas and sauces. A couple of appetizer options as well. Everything is affordable and delicious. The place gets packed quick, so highly suggest making reservations for groups, BUT you'd have to order off a $49 pre-fix menu. Otherwise, this spot is best for a party of 2, as walk ins may take 30 min-1 hr, unless you get lucky with seats at the bar. The service is okay. San Marzano won't be my go-to Italian spot based on the limited menu options, however I'd overall still recommend for the good food (and if you're into a simple menu)!

The food here is so so good every time I come. While the ambiance isn't my favorite, it's worth it for the delicious pasta.

It's a late review(2023) but it still holds as one of my most favorite chill dining experiences from my last visit to NYC. The was SO WORTH IT!! The space was a little tight but understandable considering it was busy but thankfully respectably organized for their customers. The pasta tasted incredibly cozy and the cheesy bread is die-hard scrumptious. Wonderful places to go if you're looking for a chill places to with friends/family(small group)

Came here for my friend's 21st bday for a bottomless dinner. In the dinner, you can choose 3 appetizers (2 of each for a party of 8), an entree per person, and bottomless wine, beer, sangria. We got the white and red sangria and both were good. Weren't particularly strong but because of the bottomless it did its job. For our appetizers, we got the burrata, eggplant parm, and brussel sprouts. When we sat down we were given a bread basket. The burrata was good but I wish they put more balsamic on the plate. I used the bread they gave us with the burrata but it tasted kind of dry without more balsamic. The brussel sprouts were probably my favorite app. It came with cooked apple slices and parmesan (got bacon on the side), and it was such a good touch. I never would've paired apple and cheese with the brussel sprouts but it added a sweetness and creaminess that was great. The eggplant parm was probably my least favorite dish. We all thought it had a kind of smoky taste which was a little odd. I would skip on that one next time. For my main, I did the campanelle with vecchia bettola sauce. It was delicious and I stole my friend's mozzarella chunks and leftover burrata to put on top. I really wish the original sauce came with some cheese (ricotta!!!!) as it added a lot to the dish. The restaurant was very loud, couldn't hear across the table. Service was great. The man that helped us came by quickly to refill our drinks and also generously let us add a friend in who came late (even though she didn't pay for the bottomless). This is a great option for a fun dinner. This is my third timing coming here and I'd come back again! Bottomless was $55 without tax and tip so I'm not sure if it was exactly worth all of that but it was still fun.

Came here for bottomless mimosas since I had a great experience here a couple years ago but it was kinda disappointing. My eggs were overcooked and the portions were sad. The mimosas were good but my friends and I felt like we didn't get our $ worth since we were getting rushed out although spending not over 30 minutes there (they weren't busy at all )

Stopped in recently on a Saturday night where dinners are Prix Fixe. For $49/person we got 3 appetizers, one entree each and unlimited choice of various liquor selections in a 90 minute block. A table for 2 is quite small for 3 appetizers to be brought out at once but we managed. Ordered a Caesar salad, burrata and brussel sprout appetizer. Overall they were good, although I found the brussel sprouts to be underwhelming. Our dinner dishes were decent although I was a little disappointed that the bolognese sauce had such little meat in it. Service was a bit slow. For the price ( compared to other restaurants) the prix fixe offering was a good deal. Did find it slightly annoying that the waiter at the table next to us kept reminding the patrons how much time they had left before the next reservation. Our waiter never brought the timing up with us

This is a such a good and affordable spot for friend meetups. Pasta has gotten more expensive from 5 years ago but not extraordinary. I recently came here for a large group birthday gathering and we did bottomless. Thankfully we had a reservation as the place was packed. Service was not as quick due to the amount of tables and other customers. Bottomless was good but tough to get refills quicker when your server is helping others. I ordered a whole wheat pasta dish but did not make the best sauce decision so it was alright. My friends liked theirs and their more brunch like selection. You could order from the brunch or pasta menu!

A tight space that can get crowded but clean and not much different than other restaurants in the city that have to deal with tight quarters. Got a spaghetti and meatball meal which was actually surprisingly good! Pasta tasted fresh and meatballs were on the smaller side but flavorful! Definitely would recommend the spot (on a quieter night) and would come back again

Great pasta at great prices ($14 a dish in Manhattan? A steal!). Got the vodka sauce Campanelle (it's pronounced camp-ah-nell, wish I'd known before embarrassing myself in front of the waiter). Serving size is slightly small, so would recommend doing an appetizer and a main. Tiramisu is amazing, garlic bread is not the best and gets very chewy within 10 minutes.
