Service is good, waitresses are kind. We ordered a 24 usd paella that only had 3 shrimps. Taste was good but I've had better paellas in another places. We requested more shrimps and they said that it was not possible to serve more because this is the way they do the paella. They tried to make it up giving us free appetizer but it was not enough. I do not recommend eating paella here.

Sancho’s has been serving the residents of Bay Ridge for decades now. Although I had not been here in over a decade, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was still serving great authentic food from Spain. The half carafe of red sangria was quite generous in size and alcohol content. You could tell it was freshly made to order and came with perfectly sized sangria glasses. Appetizers were the Manchego cheese and Spanish ham platter, followed by the shrimp ajillo. Both were perfect temperature and a great start to the main course. The main course, Paella Valencia was delicious and packed with just the correct amount of chorizo, seafood, poultry and veggies. Dinner was great in a lively and civil space. The waiters were quite busy however they maintained their composure and smiles. The only thing I would have like was that the bread brought to the table was quite cold. Other than that, all was as I remembered. Looking forward to returning.

I’ve been a guest of this place for 10 years. In recent past, they closed down and I was disappointed. Another one bites the dust. Then a few weeks back, news to me that they reopened “UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT”. I was skeptical if it would be the authentic Spanish experience close to home that I enjoyed for a decade. Called the owner for a party of 30 for my annual gathering of friends. I went in with an open mind and man did they make an impression. Kind hospitality, vintage ambiance as it was. A refreshed life in what was potentially gone, revived with the same menu and the food as if the original owners took off a few months to mentor their mentee, the new owners. The food was 💣 dot com. Delicious. Fresh. And as Spanish as we can get it here in Brooklyn. A great date spot. A great group dinner spot. A great experience for anyone who enjoys the vintage touch. Thank you for a wonderful evening. #eatKomeeda

Warning!!! Car drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians. Please be careful if you are passing by 7410 3rd ave in Brooklyn- Sanchos restaurant. Their outside dining area is broken and nails are sticking out. Today when I got off the car I damaged my dress- thank God I did not hurt myself. I went inside of the restaurant showing the hole in my dress to the manager. With a very sarcastic smile on his face he said ‘Do you want me to pay for the damage?’ I said ‘yes’. Then he asked me why I am wearing such a loose dress. He wanted to put a blame on me looking for another excuse, saying that I parked my car very close. What I’m trying to say that this person represents the company, in this case it is a Spanish restaurant (I had dinner at this place twice, I believe that time it was a different owner) and I did not hear a word of APOLOGY when it is very obvious that it is HIS fault not keeping a place in a safe condition. WHAT A SHAME. He was arguing with me, a potential customer. My dress will be fixed but I’m sure he will loose more money. I would say managers who are treating people this way, their business will go belly up. I did file a complain at 311 with the same pictures. ‘Good luck’ mrs Serafin. P.S. As my husband was taking a picture of the broken shed he took a picture of our car.

This restaurant deserves a 0 star option! This place needs to be shut down. The cooks are serving seafood that smells like it came from a horse pen, I am surprised it didn’t give us food poisoning. I am never ever a person to complain and I hate when people do for little reasons, but this was the most disgusting food I have ever smelt in my life, I didn’t even taste it. I’m so sorry for the waitress because she was so nice, but definitely needed to be trained on the food. We walked out!

This review is hard to write as I knew Sancho's from the day it opened. I had many meals there that were out of this world. Sadly the new regime is not living up the old reputation. We went there hoping to relive a previous great dining experience, however the new owners are incapable of serving a true Spanish colonial meal of any merit.

WORST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD ! ( I've been to1000 restaurants in 100 countries, and never had an experience like this. I want my 4 HOURS and $400 back.) There should be a 0 star option. We went because I heard good reviews, and didn't know they changed hands. This crew didn't know how to cook or serve. The appetizer croquets were probably frozen and not cooked through. Steak and shrimp: inedible. We tasted one pitcher of sangria, and told them not to bring the others. The staff was friendly but never worked in a restaurant. We'd order something, and they said "point to the picture in the menu". They didn't know what anything was, and served the wrong food to each person. They brought 1/2 the peoples' food and thought they were done. I finished eating and they didn't know what the guy next to me ordered yet. Someone ordered a coke, and the waitress had to go get the other waitress to find out how to open a can and serve a coke?? It was like a comedy movie, but you wouldn't think it was realistic.
