"A family-run, old-school Mexican restaurant with diner overtones and hefty portions, known for its outstanding chilaquiles." - Eater Staff

"Family owned since it was founded in the 1950s, SanJalisco (which before 2010 was known as Los Jarritos) is one of the most venerable Mexican spots in the Mission. And who makes better soup than family, right? The restaurant boasts a rotating menu of soups, and Friday and the weekend is when to score its pozole rojo de puerco, a pork version of the hominy-laden classic." - Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff

The food was nothing less then amazing!! You will not be disappointed in the quality of the food prepared here! The authenticity of this food is out of this world!! If you're a Mexican food lover, you have to check it out!!

Very delicious and great food. No tequila when we were here! About died without a margarita! Make sure and get the Linda and the Vicente.

Here is my review of the San Jalisco Mexican Restaurant. San Jalisco has the ingredients of success. Most definitely the food is authentic, freshly made, and plentiful. Our service was outstanding and friendly. The location is perfectly away from the chaos of Mission Street. San Jalisco is a great date night restaurant.

What a great restaurant we stumbled upon while in The Mission District. The decor is so much fun. Bright and cheerful. We were greeted, seated and our order was promptly. We enjoyed our cold beers and our food arrived quickly. The first bite brought me back to my childhood; my grandmother’s kitchen. The tortillas were made fresh and the flavors of the carnitas was superb!!! I WILL BE BACK!!

The staff all looked like they just came from a funeral. Terrible vibe and energy. Not saying I need for them to do summersaults, but at least crack a smile, ONCE. As consumers, we have many options, and we chose YOUR establishment, so how about making the customer feel welcome. However, the food was good and plentiful, but probably will not go there again ...

Google
Very cute, I loved the food! We got the Michelada, queso fundido, chile verde, and bistec mexicana. Very flavorful and good portions for the price

👌 It was as if mi abuelita made me dinner after a long, stressful day. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Simple, fresh, and tasty. Friendly staff that laughed like family.

Yelp
I got the carnitas dinner entree and the meat was largely cubed and a bit dry, not how I like my carnitas at all. The refried beans were also so dry, felt like it was refried an extra third time that was unnecessary. Table chips you only get 1 free basket, any additional is extra charge. One compliment is I liked how big their water cups are. The inside of the restaurant is super cute. A classic homey Mexican restaurant feel. A mariachi band stopped by at the start, then asked me for tips. I think they go around different restaurants in the area. Won't be back and don't recommend. But if you look inside it's cute!

Maya K.

Yelp
This place is great! I've tried many dishes from here and you really can't go wrong-- the coctels are especially delicious! Service is excellent and the interior decor is lively. If you're lucky, you'll catch the mariachi band coming through. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was looking for a sit down Mexican spot for dinner and decided to check out this place. The ambiance was nice, and I liked all the decor. But the food was lackluster and not worth coming back for. I got the green enchiladas, and honestly everything on my plate lacked flavor. With each bite I took, I never felt the desire to want to take any more bites. The enchiladas also were hardly lukewarm, and the cheese was barely melted. I ended up barely finishing half of the items on my plate because it was all too bland. The chips and salsa were just okay too. The chips were a bit too thick and hard to bite into. Also note that only the first serving of chips are free. Additional chips and salsa costs almost $5. This worked for us though because we didn't want any more.

Nelly J.

Yelp
The Bay Area has a shortage of good sit down Mexican restaurants, so it was really nice coming here! The enchiladas tasted authentic, the chicken was seasoned nicely and the sauce was delicious. The rice and beans also hit the spot! My only complaint is the lack of drink choices and the chips weren't good.

Steven S.

Yelp
I felt in the mood for going out for Mexican food for lunch and found this place and I am sure glad I came here. The food was delicious and the decor was amazing and reminded me about vacationing in Mexico. They even had a guy here singing Mexican American music. A must visit! I give this place 5 stars!

Yelp
Once in awhile we make it to this favorite restaurant because to me service is more important than food. Server always polite and friendly. This time I have pictures to share. We ordered Chile Verde but my husband thinks is ok only, nothing to get excited and i orders the rainbow trout sautéed with garlic and onions very natural and delicious to me first time i ate this meal without deep fry but sautéed very tasty good. I always like this place and the decor too.

Ryan A.

Yelp
Top notch place to eat! This has been my one of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants in SF for years! I've frequently ordered their Carne Asada plate, Albóndigas soup, or even just beans and rice. The home made salsa (and chips) they serve go perfectly with everything and their hot chocolate is also a frequent order from me. Their service is always great and the decor is amazing. Pretty quick turnaround once you order.

Dee Q.

Yelp
Decided to try a few new items and they were great. We also complemented the dishes with a chilled perfectly sweetened agua fresca Jamaica. Highly recommend this place.

Allan Y.

Yelp
Love this place!! Every time we come her we get great service and awesome authentic Mexican Food. The art work on each table is great and all the pictures on the wood as well. The michelada is one of the best one I had. The Caldo de Red(Beef Soup) comes with lots of tender meat and lots flavorful veggies. The Choriqueso, melted cheese with chorizo goes great with the fresh hand made tortillas. They never disappoint every time we come here!!!

Yelp
It's a welcoming Mexican restaurant..it was busy..she said she had to work on a "large order." I was trying to get a burrito poquito which was $10..no beans chicken and pico rice...I was at an event on Capp St near this block with a few restaurants..it was a fast and I was eating a snack dinner..burritos are no big deal and very common in San Francisco CA..it was far and new to me.

Claudine R.

Yelp
I live down the street and have been wanting to try this place, unfortunately I wasn't impressed but I always notice a line on weekends so maybe I didn't order the right thing. I ordered hot chocolate, horchata, albondigas soup and Lupe's Special. The drinks were good but nothing to brag about. The albondigas was only okay, I was looking forward to a soup and it was their daily soup. I was hoping to get pazole but it's only served on weekends. The Lupe's Special was good but again, nothing to brag about. It's served in a spicy sauce mixed with sour cream. I think I might go back but I would order breakfast instead. I think those items are more popular and it's served all day. Service was okay, it became slower as the night went on but it got pretty busy on a Tuesday night. It didn't seem they had many servers when I was there.

Ruth A.

Yelp
Good 3/5 service 5/5 ambiance 3/5 The food has no taste, a little music in the place would make the moment more joyful!

My D.

Yelp
We've passed here several times and it's always packed and some times there's live music. We were going to cook but we finally gave into the temptation. We were greeted with complimentary chips and salsa and we knew we made the right decision. Service (5/5: staff is very friendly and it creates a nice welcoming environment. Food: Lupe's special (5/5): the sauce on the chicken is so creamy and savory, it's hard to stop eating Carne asada plate (4/5): a bit over cooked but generous portion They take card! Many places in the Mission are cash only so this was nice.

Nikita K.

Yelp
Amazing , Delicious, Zhakas! The best Mexican food one can get in SF. Food here teleports you to Mexico ! I Lot of vegetarian issues and customizable. Enchiladas, horchata, tacos were some of the items we ordered. Quick and prompt service. Ambiance was amazing. If you like colors and character you will love the ambiance. Fun history fact: This restaurant started its operation in 1950's! So this place is not just fantastic, it's historic!

Joseph A.

Yelp
Parking can be a little tight but it's possible. The takeout order of seasoned meat, beans and rice were very flavorful but did shift a bit in transit (no impact other then the visual) Service was polite, personable, and prompt. If dinning in it's a pleasant and very comfortable space with character, and non obtru music in the background. Overall a good experience.

Nancy M.

Yelp
A colorful and flavorful restaurant in The Mission...the table and chairs are so welcoming as well as the staff. The menu is filled with lots of choices that will leave you perplexed as to which plate to order...all sound sooo appealing. And...as if the extensive choices aren't enough...breakfast is served all day! We enjoyed the pork fiesta dish (which included pork served three ways), the pork Colorado which came out steaming hot, the Camerone's which were breaded and pan fried to deliciousness and a chicken with peppers and onions...all came with rice and beans of your choice. We have been wanting to try this establishment for years and finally had the chance to visit and we were not disappointed! Definitely will be back!

Shannon Z.

Yelp
SanJalisco has the best chilaquiles in San Francisco (served all day), and a great option for brunch. Locally owned, affordable, and cute AF. They also have plenty of vegetarian options. A few years ago they remodeled so it is nicer inside, but managed to maintained the Mexican character with folk art and crafts. My dilemma here is do I order the amazing chilaquiles, or eat the delicious chips and salsa and get something else? A similar restaurant is Gallardos (just down the street), their close proximity allows for less of a brunch rush wait.

Yelp
I really thought I had reviewed this place. It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in San Francisco located in the mission district. It is family run and has been in operation for at least 35 years. This is where I was introduced to the dish birria. They usually serve it as a soup or Caldo. It's also the best birria I've had. They have lots of other dishes and combination plates and specials of the day. I loved it when I lived in San Francisco and whenever I return, I have my friends take me back there for lunch for dinner. The service is good and the ambience is perfect. It can be a little bit noisy Mexican restaurant, but what restaurant is not noisy?

Cindy N.

Yelp
First time visiting after finding them on Yelp! Order me the birria and my boyfriend menudo! The birria has good flavor! The menudo definitely needed some help because I've been thought that if the stew smells like cow its skin needs more cleaning! The home maid tortillas are delicious!! The service was excellent and would return to give it another try with something else.

Mosa H.

Yelp
Cute casual indoor seating with traditional trinkets as decor. I love the Loteria style tables and chairs- it's fun to look up the meanings and discuss as you eat! They were able to accommodate a last minute table of 8. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. I liked my tamarindo agua fresca- it was HUGE and very very sweet. The free chips and salsa at the start were good- crispy and non-greasy chips although the salsa was a little thin. Our food came out fast! My pork burrito had tender chunks of meat and everything else was kind of a mixed mush. I wish I had been able to distinguish the different ingredients a little more. Side salad was alright- I skipped most of it.

Annie W.

Yelp
Wonderful displays of kitschy art; so beautiful and festive! So much to look at while you're waiting for your food to arrive. The most beautiful things were the tables and the chairs; each chair was different and matched a Mexican game. My friend said your fortune was determined by the chair on which you sat. I had El Pino, but does that mean I'm going to a forest? Now, about the food. We each ordered a different dish. I had the Chile Colorado and it was delicious. The chunks of pork were tender and spiced just right. It came with rice and beans and some salad. They also brought warm tortillas to mop up that delicious sauce. My friends ordered the Pollo en Mole, a combination plate with flautas and the Huarache con Nopal, an Ensalada Cesar de Pollo, and a huge burrito with carnitas. Everyone seemed happy with their choices and the portions were pretty big, all except the Ensalada Cesar de Pollo coming with a side salad, rice, and beans of your choice. I had half my dish left over for another meal and my friend with the burrito also had half left for a second meal. During our meal, there were musicians that played and sang for a group celebrating a birthday. My friend made a request for a specific song and they obliged him. Added to the entertaining aspects of the restaurant! The one little glitch was that the tortilla chips weren't quite as crispy as I like them; they had kind of a day-old feel to them. The salsa, though, was delicious. This was a minor disappointment and it certainly won't keep me from returning. The one thing that might hamper a return visit is the lack of parking in the neighborhood. I drove around for a good 25 minutes before finally finding a spot!

Christine V.

Yelp
Gonna say this with my entire chest: I love the Birria here!! I believe it's a special that they only serve on weekends, but it's so, so, so delicious. The portion is HUGE and 2 people could easily share an entree. I usually go for the dry birria, with the consome served on the side. It also comes with freshly made and warm flour tortillas and salsa and chips to start your meal. There's going to be a line and a wait, so anticipate that... it's a popular spot. Waiters are working hard, and it might take a couple tries to get their attention for ordering or for getting the bill. I love the way they decorate the interior, and it feels so lively and vibrant.

Andrew S.

Yelp
This place was so amazing, I went there again. We ordered the Remo chilaquiles again, and the birria cjilaquiles. Service was still good. Ambiance was the same, except the musicians were worse than last time. However, the food was not as good. It was still good, but the first time, it was heavenly. I think it was because this time, I came on Sunday, and last time, I came on Thursday, so I think the cooks are different. Check out the Remo (chicken) chilaquiles ... they don't look the same at all ...

Liz B.

Yelp
San Jalisco has good Mexican food, descent prices, friendly people. Cheerful ambiance. Caldo de Rez is a good meal! Street parking is available but can be a challenge.

Horacio H.

Yelp
Amazing flavors ! Food portions wow ! Service great ! One of the best Mexican restaurants in San Francisco!

Lila L.

Yelp
First time going and it's sure to become a favorite. The food was amazing especially their seafood cocktails. The seafood cocktails are reminiscent of the ones you have at the beach in Central America. It was delicious. The added bonus was the decor, the chairs are lotería cards which adds a whimsical touch and are a conversation starter. The service is fast and the staff are friendly. You can call ahead to place your order which is always nice.

Stephen S.

Yelp
We turned to San Jalisco for our catering - an event for 200-250 guests. They provided a tremendous meal. The food was amazing - flautas, nopal salad, platanos frito, beans, and toppings - and so many people remarked how good it was. Many went around for seconds and thirds! I recommend San Jalisco and we will turn to them again for our catering needs. Many, many thanks!!

Deva M.

Yelp
Mole Mole Mole! If you love mole then you're at the right place. Incredible recipe. Amazing service and you can tell how much everyone LOVES this place. Authentic vibes for sure.

Sandra A.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Favorite dishes include the birria en caldo (available only on weekends), huevos rancheros, and the carne asada thinly cut dinner plate. The birria en caldo is to die for...juicy tender meat...savory and flavorful soup. Also comes with fresh housemade tortillas. The pozole rojo is good, but I would choose the birria en caldo over it. The restaurant is fairly small so it fills up quickly. Love the ambience and the service is good. Complimentary chips and salsa when you sit down (also included if you do takeout). They do a great job with packaging and including all of the fixings if you do takeout. I've been here a handful of times now and it's safe to say I love it. Great quality comfort food.

Tracie P.

Yelp
Everything is right about this authentic hotspot in our Mission District. I visited because I was told it was the most authentic Mexican food in the city. Everything is made from scratch and it shows. Everything's is delicious especially the guacamole

Eric A.

Yelp
Gloria, Saraí, Enrique, parte del personal que son muy amables. Te hacen sentir en casa. También mencionó a Tatiana... La comida rica, ambiente chévere...

Iago D.

Yelp
Great little place. Festively decorated and the staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food is just what you'd expect from a Mexican place in the Mission and it's always good and plentiful. The chips and nice and spicy salsa are also winners. Always a good experience here.

Linda L.

Yelp
Everything at SanJalisco was amazing! We came at rush hour, so we had to wait a bit before getting seated, but it wasn't too bad. Free chips were already placed at our table before we even sat down. It only came with one salsa, which was a downside because I usually like to have a variety of dips, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Onto our orders, I got the quesadilla suiza and my brother got a burrito. We also got an order of pozole to share and it came with 2 pieces of tortillas on the side. When I ordered my quesadilla suiza, the waitress asked if I wanted to add rice and beans on the side and I said yes.. It was a mistake because the portions were HUGE and there ended up being too much food. We took home leftovers that was enough to feed us for the next 2 meals. I'm not complaining though because it was totally worth it for the price they were charging. The food was also delicious! My quesadilla was packed with flavors and so cheesy. Not to mention, there was a mariachi band playing behind us, which is a plus for the atmosphere. Definitely come if you are around the area, you won't regret!

Helen L.

Yelp
Service was quick. Sit down. Chips and dipping sauce. Water and drinks. All day breakfast menu. Come here for seafood. Menudo can be ordered sat, sun, monday. So much tripe in one bowl. Grilled trout was excellent. Only ate half since so much to eat. Pay cash you get discount. Pay credit card add 4%.

Tracy D.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and were so pleased with the fresh delicious food and drinks. It was busy, but the service was really attentive and the food came quickly and hot. I had the milanesa and my husband had the chili verde burrito; he said he's getting the milanesa next time. Micheladas were delicious also (ordered ours with extra lime). Ended with coffee, vanilla ice cream and plátanos. We will definitely be back.

Giovany G.

Yelp
I grew up comming here every sunday brunch, right after church. Known the place for 30 years. And Its a Staple of the Mission. There has been many changes, but, its kept its Identity. My favs Camarones empanizados, Coctel Vuelve ala Vida, Caldo de Mariscos, Milanesa de pollo. Can't forget to mention, the starter. Their Salsa and chips.

Jocelyn L.

Yelp
My husband was craving a sit-down traditional Mexican restaurant. We remembered seeing this place on Check Please! I'm glad we finally gave this place a shot. We had a great time! Chips came for appetizers that were on the house. The chips were just whatever, but the salsa was fantastic. It had a nice acidity, and also the perfect amount of spice. I really wanted to take some home!!! We got the pork Pozole to start. Based on the day of week you come, they have different pozole specials of various meats and seafood. Anyway, we loved it! It was huge, but perfect to share. Actually, it could have been a main entree on its own, as we only had a few bites and wanting to save room for our real entree. The broth was amazing - so flavorful. Pork was very tender, falling apart. Hominy had a great texture, hit the spot. It was just done really well! For my entree, I got the chicken Milanese, which came with beans of your choice, rice, salad, and guac. Loved it!!! It's honestly quite hard to find a dish like this in SF that's a simple Mexican dish without sauces. I was so satisfied!!! Rice was perfect too. My husband got the thin steak plate, and he also loved it. The tortillas were amazing and are handmade here. Getting a table was chaotic. Lots of people here are picking up tons of to go orders, and it's one tiny area that combines the waitlist line and pickups- not very clear. We probably waited about 12 mins before someone came by to seat us, even though there were a few tables available. Service overall was pretty fast, although they messed up on our bill 2x. Not a big deal though, the guy at the front, who manages all the to-go orders and tables' checks, fixed it no prob. Looking forward to returning, especially can't wait to try their desserts next time!

Danielle S.

Yelp
The restaurant was totally packed. I waited for a seat at the bar. Once I grabbed my seat, I was served a basket of tortilla chips and salsa which had lots of heat and flavor. I ordered the chilaquiles Emiliano which is only serve on the weekend and is a new item and a side of guacamole (I confirmed I would get pico de gallo with it - i didn't bother to even ask for it). Chilaquiles Emiliano has tortilla bits scrambled with two large eggs, cheese, onions and salsa complemented with birria, nopales, and fresh Mexican-style sour cream Served with home-made corn tortillas which add delicious, Mexican rice, and your choice of refried pinto beans, whole pinto beans, or whole black beans. I went for the refried beans. It's a really big portion. I couldn't finish even a third of it. Though I did fill up on chips, guacamole, and salsa before the chilaquiles arrived. I enjoyed the food. I had a few gripes. One was there was too much fat on the birria so I had to put half of it on a plate. Which that said, what was left was still a decent portion. Also, I ordered the chilaquiles Emiliano and was first served v chilaquiles verde. I let them know. Then, the server seemed to be confused when I explained that was not my order - I won't even eat verde sauce. He ordered my chilaquiles Emiliano w verde sauce, so I realized he was confused again and had to tell the cook to correct the order but at least he hadn't served again. I finally got the order but the eggs were missing except for two bites. Also, there were only two small bites of eggs - that's it, not two large eggs. I did ask them, and they brought more but I did not get the two large eggs, even when they "gave me more". Unless the eggs turned to liquid, there were only 2 bites and then, the server came back with half an egg... so that was disappointing. With that said the food was decent. I think Primavera at the Farmers market at the Ferry Building is way better but you can only get that on Saturday when it's not raining as they did not show up yesterday. They make the best eggs I've ever eaten in my life. And my second favorite is Buena Vida Cantina - they made amazing chilaquiles. Anyway, the people were nice and they tried. I'll give them a 3 for average. I'll glad I tried it because I kept reading best chilaquiles in SF, but I disagree. Try it for yourself though. I will most likely not go back for chilaquiles but maybe something else. Not having 2 large eggs was a big miss, missing the pico de gallo also a big miss, and all the fat on the birria. So, I'll give it 3 stars. But maybe other things there are better. I would skip what I ordered though

Sandy L.

Yelp
Colorful restaurant with homey, delicious food, and warm service. Restaurant was very busy when we arrived around dinner time but it has a lot of seating so we were quickly seated with complimentary chips and salsa. I absolutely loved how the restaurant is decorated. Each chair is unique and colorful. A lot of interesting wall art too. Truly transports you into another world. The food blew me away. We ordered from their weekend specials. I tried their Birria en caldo. Delicious! Tender and flavorful but the tiniest bit gamey, which I don't mind but it may not be your cup of tea. The meat was juicy but chunky and held its integrity since it wasn't completely shredded as you'd commonly find at other places. It's also hard to understate how amazing their tortillas are! Fluffy and chewy with a light corn flavor. The perfect accompaniment to the birria and saltiness of the broth.

Stephen C.

Yelp
Good sit down place with hit or miss dishes. Ok for more comfortable dining. Food: Hit or miss, some great dishes, some just ok -Choriquezo - delicious cheese and chorizo with tortilla wraps - highly recommend! -Guac - good, standard -Menudo - typical but generally these are way too heavy tripe flavor for my taste (and I like tripe) -Seafood cocktail w/ shrimp - just OK, nice shrimp -Chile Relleno (combo plate) - tasty, standard -Taquito (combo plate) - Ok, nothing notable Ambiance was nice, a bit more upscale but casual indoor and outdoor dining Service was good For overall (food is most important for me), would probably opt for the hole in the wall places but this is better for groups

Edward W.

Yelp
Large place with plenty of seats. Complimentary chips with salsa to start. Went with the triple combination plate to try more things since there's too many options. flautas - excellent, would definitely order this again tostada- absolutely massive in size and quite good. would prefer if they had some seafood options but still enjoyed it

Jillian L.

Yelp
San Jalisco is still the best authentic Mexican food in San Francisco. I love coming here for breakfast / lunch. The staff is always on top of everything and so friendly. The decor is my favorite. Josie (the owner) always brings back the best decor form Mexico & keeps up the beautiful look San Jalisco has always had. The chairs and tables are so fun they are Loteria themed. Now let's get down to the food, you can't go wrong with anything. Whether you're in the mood for some eggs and chorizo, a nice big bowl of soup or pozole, chilaquiles, burrito, nachos, or shrimp cocktail they literally have the best selection. Some of my favorite are the Chilaquiles Remo, Steak Milanesa, Pozole, Platanos, Guacamole, Alfonso Chicken, and the Bisteak Ranchero. They also have a good selection of drinks, from sodas, Jarritos, horchata, or beers that you can get in a Michelada with a nice cold glass. These are just some pictures I've gotten of the yummy foods we've tried. Everything is always amazing.

Anthony R.

Yelp
Went with my wife and 2 friends. The food was okay. Not much flavor and not what I expected from a Mexican restaurant in SF. The chips and salsa were better than my carnitas burrito. The service was not good at all. The waitress took our order, brought our food and drinks, and never came back. My Coke was empty and never refilled. The ambiance was cool. It wasn't too loud, and they had music playing in the background. Overall, though, I wouldn't return to try anything else.

Mami C.

Yelp
I love San Jalisco! The decor makes me so happy and feels like home to me! The refried beans are creamy and taste like my nana's love, the chilaquiles are perfect, the chile rellenos are perfect which for me means no seeds, soft chiles, fluffy and oily egg. The staff is awesome! I love the waitress with the Frida tattoo! Pretty sure everything tastes delicious and I can't wait to eat my way through the menu over my lifetime! Oh and the mole es para chuparse los dedos!!

John H.

Yelp
I was really craving a good sit-down Mexican food place for my birthday and this place was a great choice! It has a nice corner location on Van Ness and it has awesome decor. It was a weeknight when we went so we were able to walk in and get a table for 2 easily. I LOVE a good michelada and this one did not disappoint! Be prepared for the large size as it is served in a pretty big mug, but it was the perfect blend of spice and flavor. For food, we started off with the Choriqueso dip and it was SO GOOD. It is a chorizo queso dip and has awesome flavors. Definitely a little greasy, but it was worth it for the taste! My wife went with a shrimp soup for her entree and said it was exactly what she was looking for as it was hot, tasty, and a good sized portion. I went with a half/half of Chile Colorado and Chile Verde and it was tough to decide which was better as both were very good. Tasty food, good drinks, great service and a fun atmosphere makes this place somewhere we will definitely come back to again!

Yelp
Cute Mexican sit down restaurant in the mission with authentic food. I came here after seeing it pop up on yelp so many times. I ordered the Lupe special which is chicken in a creamy chipotle sauce. Comes with rice and beans. It was delicious! They have a lot of different soup offerings as well, so I'm excited to go back and try those. The decor is really nice and the service is wonderful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We came on a holiday so it looked full but we were seated right away. The decor is very festive and fun. We placed our order and the food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the chicken mole. The beans and rice were ok. The mole was sweet and tasty. I don't understand why they included a salad. It really isn't necessary for this dish. And there was no dressing! So why? Also we had to ask for more water. The staff was friendly but they didn't check up on us or anything. Still, I would give them another try.

Yelp
Stopped by here for breakfast today after walking by this place a few times. Got my self a Machaca Breakfast burrito with everything (fully loaded with rice, beans, eggs, potatoes, etc.) to go Didn't have to wait too long and the staff was pretty friendly Portions: 6/5 - This was a Massive massive burrito - felt like it was 2 lbs almost. That plus chips for $12 is an insane bang for you buck value Taste: 3.5/5 - I think this was my doing - there was a lot going on in this thing. Machaca, potatoes, grilled onions, spinach, tomatoes, eggs, guac, sour cream, rice , beans, etc ‍. Definitely needed some hot sauce to pull it all together and it worked perfectly Final verdict : 4/5 Will definitely be going back to try some other items on the menu , and next time I get a burrito I'll probably try and keep things a little simpler Verdict : 4/5 (will definitely go again - but I probably won't get a fully loaded breakfast burrito next time though )
