Sano - Review - Bellevue - Seattle - The Infatuation

"For green juices, smoothies, and acai bowls, there’s Sano. This casual cafe already has a Mercer Island location, and now one opened in Bellevue (with future Redmond and Kirkland locations coming soon), tapping into the smoothie-sipping energy that thrives on the Eastside. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Kayla Sager-Riley

Seattle Bar and Restaurant Openings to Know for July 2025 | Eater Seattle

"A "purpose-driven cafe" that is apparently "seed-oil free" according to its Instagram, serving protein bars, acai bowls, smoothies, and similar items; this is the second of four planned locations for a concept that started on Mercer Island." - Harry Cheadle

Sano is a new café connected to an Amazon office, and it has a warm, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. The space is bright with plenty of natural light, lots of plants, and a modern, clean design that feels refreshing. The baristas are friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. They don’t use any special or single-origin beans, but the coffee is still good and well-prepared. Seating is comfortable and well laid out, making it a nice spot to work, chat with friends, or take a break. While the coffee is solid, they’re actually more well-known for their food, which has a fresh and flavorful touch. Paid parking is available nearby, and the location is convenient for both office workers and casual visitors. Overall, it’s a bright, stylish spot worth checking out—especially if you’re here for a meal with a good cup of coffee on the side.

New health cafe in Bellevue, super conveniently located. The cortado was great but they don’t serve in glassware, only take away cups. The egg toast is more of a quick bite, size is small-ish for a breakfast substitute.

Pleasantly surprised by this cafe on the first floor of Amazon Everest building. I tried the acai bowl and it was super good. A generous amount of acai with amazing granola and fresh fruits. I will definitely come here when I’m craving acai bowl. The service was very friendly and the place looks great. The only downside is slightly limited seating.

Highly recommend getting a morning Acai bowl or bar from this new spot in Bellevue. Consistently good beverages and a beautiful, yet simple interior that just feels welcoming. On top of the food and drinks, the baristas are wonderful. Shoutout to Hailey for always making the experience better!

Smoothie tasted herbal, not as described, but okay. Bad utensils — couldn’t cut avocado toast. Nice place, but limited food and no good pastries.

This was a perfect replacement for the old Starbucks. Super fresh and clean ingredients. My 18-month old loves the bars and I don’t feel bad feeding her as much of the Sano brownie as she wants. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Perfect space for a quick bite or a lunch meeting.

This café has become my go-to spot, and for good reason. The ambience is always inviting—cozy enough to relax, yet lively enough to feel like part of the neighborhood. The coffee is consistently excellent, with rich flavors and great presentation, and the food pairs perfectly with it—fresh, tasty, and thoughtfully prepared. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, but I especially want to call out Hailey. She’s incredible—always greeting customers with a genuine smile that instantly brightens the place. Anytime you go, she greets you with a smile—honestly, it feels like a superpower to be that positive and welcoming every single day. If you’re not sure what to order, she takes the time to listen and give thoughtful recommendations, and somehow always nails it. I stop by here often, and no matter how busy it gets, Hailey manages to connect with people in a way that feels effortless. She’s hands down one of the best baristas I’ve ever come across, and she makes this café feel special. If you’re looking for great coffee, delicious food, and a team that truly cares about customers, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Google
Bellevue just got a serious upgrade with the opening of this new health food cafe. There is nothing else like this in the area. Whether you’re into clean eating, plant-based meals, or just want to fuel your day with something that actually tastes amazing, this place delivers on all fronts. The vibe is a bright, modern, and welcoming. It’s got that West Coast/Tulum wellness feel. Whether you’re stopping by post-workout or grabbing lunch with a friend, it feels fresh and energizing just to be there. In a city full of fast food and standard cafes, this place is a breath of fresh air. Finally, a spot where health-conscious doesn’t mean flavorless, and where clean eating is actually crave-worthy.

Yelp
Food was excellent! It was better than some of the tapas I had during my trip to Spain in last March, 2025. However, I was surprised by such a high bill after the meal, which included charges for the water which I didn't expect. The waitress never said the water would be billed.

Yelp
Super cute and aesthetic cafe. Located inside an office building. Ample seating. Ordered the mexican latte and my friend ordered the orange espresso. We both enjoyed our drinks. Would come back again to try their other drinks and items. There is one barista taking orders and making the drinks. So there was a bit of wait, but did not mind.

Yelp
This location just opened within the past week and I tried the Heavenly Cacao smoothie ($10.50 before tax + tip). Taste was fine (did a good job disguising the cacao bitterness) but the consistency was thin/liquidy, served in the cheapest plastic cup you can get, and sized fairly small for the price compared to other juice/bubble tea places within walking distance. Kitchen service was a bit slow but they'll likely get that ironed out quickly. It's located in the building I work in so I'll try a few other things off the menu and update the review accordingly.

Yelp
Sano just opened in downtown Bellevue offering an incredible selection of organic artisan coffee, organic raw cold pressed juices, craft toasts, organic acai bowls & more. The design of Sano is breathtaking with a focus on natural woods, real plants, lighting and minimalism. The team at Sano are professional, fun, and look great with matching uniforms.

Yelp
So glad to have Sano in Kirkland! Their service was even better than the Mercer Island location--fast and delicious! Plus, a great location! Glad to have a truly healthy option close to home.

Yelp
We went to Sano in Bellevue on Father's Day, we were warmly greeted as we entered. The staff made recommendations, as this was our first time at Sano. We tried the Avocado Toast with Egg, the Harvest Salad with Egg with the dressing mixed in, the Cloud 9 and Elevate juices, the Lemon Lush Latte and Sunshine Orange Espresso. Everything was excellent, and presented very well. I was skeptical of the coffee recommendations, but we really enjoyed both of them! The interior is very thoughtful and welcoming with terrific ambiance! We will be back often.
