Sano - Review - Bellevue - Seattle - The Infatuation

"For green juices, smoothies, and acai bowls, there’s Sano. This casual cafe already has a Mercer Island location, and now one opened in Bellevue (with future Redmond and Kirkland locations coming soon), tapping into the smoothie-sipping energy that thrives on the Eastside. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Kayla Sager-Riley

Seattle Bar and Restaurant Openings to Know for July 2025 | Eater Seattle

"A "purpose-driven cafe" that is apparently "seed-oil free" according to its Instagram, serving protein bars, acai bowls, smoothies, and similar items; this is the second of four planned locations for a concept that started on Mercer Island." - Harry Cheadle

Sano is a new café connected to an Amazon office, and it has a warm, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. The space is bright with plenty of natural light, lots of plants, and a modern, clean design that feels refreshing. The baristas are friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. They don’t use any special or single-origin beans, but the coffee is still good and well-prepared. Seating is comfortable and well laid out, making it a nice spot to work, chat with friends, or take a break. While the coffee is solid, they’re actually more well-known for their food, which has a fresh and flavorful touch. Paid parking is available nearby, and the location is convenient for both office workers and casual visitors. Overall, it’s a bright, stylish spot worth checking out—especially if you’re here for a meal with a good cup of coffee on the side.

Google
New health cafe in Bellevue, super conveniently located. The cortado was great but they don’t serve in glassware, only take away cups. The egg toast is more of a quick bite, size is small-ish for a breakfast substitute.

Google
Pleasantly surprised by this cafe on the first floor of Amazon Everest building. I tried the acai bowl and it was super good. A generous amount of acai with amazing granola and fresh fruits. I will definitely come here when I’m craving acai bowl. The service was very friendly and the place looks great. The only downside is slightly limited seating.

Google
Smoothie tasted herbal, not as described, but okay. Bad utensils — couldn’t cut avocado toast. Nice place, but limited food and no good pastries.

Google
Highly recommend getting a morning Acai bowl or bar from this new spot in Bellevue. Consistently good beverages and a beautiful, yet simple interior that just feels welcoming. On top of the food and drinks, the baristas are wonderful. Shoutout to Hailey for always making the experience better!

Google
I wanted to like this place, but it just wasn’t great. The interior is nice, but they had booming EDM-style music playing, which really did not fit the atmosphere (this isn't a bar or nightclub). We went there for an early afternoon lunch and the music made it hard for us to talk to each other. My partner put in noise cancelling headphones to try and drown out the constant beat. The coffee we had was pretty good, but the toast wasn’t. They charged extra for egg, but then didn’t mention that it would be soft-boiled. It was like warm goop slathered over toast. Given the high price, I was tempted to bring it back and ask for a refund, but decided not to. I don’t think we’ll be back :(.

Visiting from out of state, this was so clean and fresh. The food was so delicious, everything I ate or drank was a 10/10. Ginger sesame salad was amazing

Google
This was a perfect replacement for the old Starbucks. Super fresh and clean ingredients. My 18-month old loves the bars and I don’t feel bad feeding her as much of the Sano brownie as she wants. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Perfect space for a quick bite or a lunch meeting.

Yelp
Brian and Hailey provided me tremendous customer services! They gave really good advice on the menu and helped me order a Chai Latte and a Tomato Bagel. Both items were delicious and I was really impressed!

Yelp
Had a great experience at Sano! Very clean and minimal ambience. Had their egg toast and a coffee both of them were unique from what I previously had anywhere. Clean flavors, clean service and ambiance. One caveat would be the timing, their service can be slow considering the smaller space and it can get crowded sometimes.

Yelp
No parking validation in the garages/lots nearby. Parking options: street Was told by the register person, owner is the husband to the wife who started Magic Matcha. Food- fresh and clean. Ambiance- lovely. Clean, sleek. Service- order at counter. Food delivered to the table number you get or at counter. Value- expensive. Recommend- yes for clean eating, good ambiance.

Yelp
Stopped by Sano in downtown Bellevue. Food was good and service was even better. They were so friendly and helpful in helping me choose my dish. Food also came out pretty fast and there was a steady stream of folks at 11AM on a Wednesday. I got the egg avocado toast and the Golden Roots juice. The toast was great - thick slice of bread, perfectly poached egg, and super super fresh ingredients. Could've used a pinch more salt or a little hot sauce, but that's just personal preference. The juice was refreshing and I loved that it came in a cute, reusable glass jar from the grab-and-go fridge. It's a cute place to work and had bright lighting.

Yelp
Great customer service. Wait was a little long but there seemed to only be one person working when I went so no worries, they were so nice about it. Went with a friend and they liked what they ordered as well. We both loved the ambiance - the open, large space with the modern sleek look, and cute plant greenery to pair with the healthy vibes in their foods/drinks. Wish it were open longer/later since this is only during work hours (when I went anyway, not sure about now).

Yelp
The sunshine daydream smoothie and Pearadise juice are amazing! Juice was a bit pricey for a small 8oz but the blend was delicious. The smoothie was refreshing and perfect after hot Pilates! Service was great I got my drink fairly quickly. The decor and ambiance is beautiful, I could definitely see myself doing some work or enjoying a slow breakfast here. I will definitely be back to try that Sano brownie!

Yelp
My rate is only for their Island Acai bowl. I've had it twice so far and both times were consistent and delicious. 10/10 would order again and again.

Yelp
Super cute and aesthetic cafe. Located inside an office building. Ample seating. Ordered the mexican latte and my friend ordered the orange espresso. We both enjoyed our drinks. Would come back again to try their other drinks and items. There is one barista taking orders and making the drinks. So there was a bit of wait, but did not mind.

Yelp
Yummy, healthy, clean food , clean ambiance and bathroom , this place is a gem for all you healthy eaters out there. They don't use seed oil , has lots of gluten free options! Love this place! Service is also chef's kiss! Highly recommend this place and we took our friend here and she loves it! We ordered avocado toasts , their green salad and smoothies plus their little energy bites! My friend was so full and happy that we took her here for her 71st bday! She loves this place so much and we do too! Would love to try their other stuff on the menu!

Yelp
Damn! It was fresh and nutritious. No added ingredients. The radishes were fresh. The dressing and greens were light and earthy. Egg was perfectly cooked. Toast was hearty and crunchy edged. The drink was absolutely refreshing! I never thought to put lemon top of an iced coffee. Servers were very professional and direct. Loved it! Thank u Sano Bellevue for making healthy food flavorful again (or if you'd like "M.H.F.F.A.")!

Yelp
Sano just opened in downtown Bellevue offering an incredible selection of organic artisan coffee, organic raw cold pressed juices, craft toasts, organic acai bowls & more. The design of Sano is breathtaking with a focus on natural woods, real plants, lighting and minimalism. The team at Sano are professional, fun, and look great with matching uniforms.

Yelp
Service was excellent. My questions were answered and then some. Even my friend who is gluten free said she was pleased with their immediate response to her avocado on toast being regular toast and they replaced it with gf toast and let the rest of our group enjoy it instead of just taking it away. The presentation was very nice too. Plus, even when I mentioned my mocha was a little too bitter they gave me a vanilla shot to counter it. They were accommodating and worked with a smile. The only downside is the parking lot is not cheap. $6/hr. Definitely walk!

Yelp
This location just opened within the past week and I tried the Heavenly Cacao smoothie ($10.50 before tax + tip). Taste was fine (did a good job disguising the cacao bitterness) but the consistency was thin/liquidy, served in the cheapest plastic cup you can get, and sized fairly small for the price compared to other juice/bubble tea places within walking distance. Kitchen service was a bit slow but they'll likely get that ironed out quickly. It's located in the building I work in so I'll try a few other things off the menu and update the review accordingly.

Yelp
The granola is what has me sold, YUM. Açaí bowls generous serving, right amount of everything to eat with your açaí. Tried their green smoothie, delish also. I keep coming back to buy the granola to take home. :) service is great, and waiting is ok, because you know it's been made fresh. :)

Yelp
So glad to have Sano in Kirkland! Their service was even better than the Mercer Island location--fast and delicious! Plus, a great location! Glad to have a truly healthy option close to home.

Yelp
We went to Sano in Bellevue on Father's Day, we were warmly greeted as we entered. The staff made recommendations, as this was our first time at Sano. We tried the Avocado Toast with Egg, the Harvest Salad with Egg with the dressing mixed in, the Cloud 9 and Elevate juices, the Lemon Lush Latte and Sunshine Orange Espresso. Everything was excellent, and presented very well. I was skeptical of the coffee recommendations, but we really enjoyed both of them! The interior is very thoughtful and welcoming with terrific ambiance! We will be back often.

Yelp
Food was excellent! It was better than some of the tapas I had during my trip to Spain in last March, 2025. However, I was surprised by such a high bill after the meal, which included charges for the water which I didn't expect. The waitress never said the water would be billed.
