Santa Maria bbq and Catering

I had to stop mid meal to take pictures of my food, that’s how good it was. When I came in today for the first time, the woman who helped me was so incredibly nice. I ordered to go and it was probably ready within 10 minutes, the woman kindly told me how my stuff was stacked up and what was in the bag. It smelt so good in my car that I took a bite of the sandwich before the drive homeand oh my god, it’s delicious. There was no sauce on it and I appreciated that because that way I knew it wouldn’t get soggy on the drive, but there was a nice side of sauce in the bag. I also got a plate of chicken with potato salad and corn bread and I loved how everything was so carefully individually wrapped/packaged so it stayed fresh. This place was amazing, I’ll be back 100%, especially because when I was there I saw they have daily lunch specials and a little bar with some beers on tap. 10/10 BBQ

I can't even imagine sharing anything about this place. We were so excited to find a BBQ place. We may have set our expectations too high. The food was awful. The meat was nothing but gristle. The pork ribs, no flavor. It's too expensive for what you get.

I had a fantastic BBQ meal today, featuring a Chicken and Rib combo. The meat was delicious, and my amazing sides included collard greens, beans, and potato salad. Even better, when I discovered that one of my sides was missing at home, they promptly delivered it to me. The service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend them!

Loved the extra care and attention here. Mike gave us samples of the meats because we couldn't decide. We really loved the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork all with the brown sugar sauce (he let us try all the sauces too). Mac and cheese was unique and yummy. Will definitely be back.

We love the delicious brisket sandwiches and fries. When available, the Ahi tuna is amazing. The staff is very friendly and concerned that you are happy with your food. We eat here on a regular basis and highly recommend Santa Maria BBQ.

Happened across this place yesterday with a great friend of mine looking for some good American BBQ.... and let me tell you, I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! I have had A LOT of BBQ in my life as I lived in the Carolinas for several years of my life, but this place... this place is FANTASTIC. From the moment you step into the intimate sports-bar atmosphere (Seats about 30 people) Michael greeted us both in a very friendly manner and was eager to help us figure out what we would like. Great selection of beers on tap (I went with the Stone Delicious IPA) and had their Brisket Sandwich with Potato Salad, and Michael gave us a fleet of different sauces to have with our meal... each one as amazing as the next! Every single bite was absolute heaven! We also had their Banana Pudding for dessert, one of my favorite desserts and this was THE BEST! My only regrets are not taking a picture of my sandwich and not having a bigger stomach... MUST TRY! Thanks again to Michael for the great experience and hospitality, and will definitely be coming to see you all again!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I totally would. I’ve driven by so many times and always noticed the amazing smell, so I finally decided to stop in on Labor Day when my usual spots were closed. I’m so glad I did! This place is now at the top of my list. The service was seriously next-level. Our server, Mike, went out of his way to make everything perfect, and everyone else we talked to was super friendly, welcoming and personal. They were great honestly so cool to talk and hang with. And the food—wow. It was absolutely delicious, with tons of great beers on tap too. Honestly, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing service, mouthwatering food, and a great vibe, this is it. 20/10, I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing food! Our first time there and it was unexpected. We're from Texas so was missing good BBQ. Everything we tried was really good - brisket, sausage, bacon mac & cheese, corn, cole slaw, andfries. Liked that the meat was so good you didn't need the BBQ sauce if you didn't want it. The sauces were good for dipping. The beer was fresh and perfect pours. Nicole helped us and she was super sweet. We will definitely be back! Found our local BBQ place now!
