Santa Maria's Carry Out

Been eating here for years, I love the chicken Alfredo. Always so creamy, their fries are really good nice and crispy. I like to call my order in, they can get busy and the wait time can be a while. So I really suggest calling in, omg can’t forget the half and half’s really and they have really good cakes fresh at that, and you get nice portions.

I have never been so terrified to be in an establishment in Baltimore like this ever before. Everyone working there looked spooked out, blood-shot eyes and the level of toxicity overall was so high that I didn’t feel comfortable standing in there for more than a few minutes. I waited in my car and I will Never go there again. I have a large social media following and I don’t advise my followers to go there either until they do some serious clean-up. Perhaps they should hire security for a period of time. I love Baltimore and typically feel safe, but this place is almost haunted. Please do something fast management, for your own sake. Time is running out. God Bless

Every time I go to Santa Maria's Carry Out the food be good but most of the it's a long wait to get your food and sometimes they can mess up your order so then it will be a longer wait until they fix it right. I do think that when you work in a carry out you suppose to have a pleasant attitude with people even when you don't want too or just don't work in that field at all.

You might wait for a long time for your food, but whenever you get it it’s HOT and fresh. This restaurant isn’t a microwave restaurant everything is made from scratch the even the pizza dough is hand tossed. I would like to also state PLEASE don’t get your sub roll toasted, the sub rolls are absolutely PERFECT and soft and made FRESH, toasting these sub rolls is like spitting in God’s face 😩 Dino (the owner) has a very interesting leadership style but he’s courteous and friendly to anyone that walks through the doors… Oh and it’s perfect late night spot to hit after a long night of clubbing. Full disclosure there is no mayonnaise the chicken is just juice and not overcooked!

Crazy wait time even after calling order in. Wings are legit dropped back in the grease when ordered. The cheeseburger sub was hitting but they dont have lamb gyros only chicken and are stingy with the tzatziki saice

Omg! There food is amazing I very seldomly like a whole meal because I am picky. But lawdddd the fried were nice and crispy but soft the crab cakes are to die for and the wings , listen jus enough sauce and flavor def got a loyal customer now 🔥🔥😝

This is the best place to eat from after 2:00 a.m. food was on point like it was 6:00 p.m. customer service was 👍🏼

Food is ok. Bbq Wings were soggy. Flavor was ok. Subs are better. Fried wings was decent. Overall it’s a good place for the late night when nothings else is open. Overall I give the good a 6/10

I give this place of four stars I really like it and will come back. The food is delicious. The staff is nice. This is a carry out located in the west Baltimore. The wait time is not bad it took about 20 minutes for our order to be prepared. You can call and to place your order and pick it up. The half-and-half is definitely good (5 stars). I ordered the Italiano steak & it was really good. My only Con was that the portion size was a bit small. This restaurant is on the pricier and for a carry out but the taste of the food makes it worth it. The parking lot is small and holds about 10 to 15 cars (free parking). Environment looks very clean I would definitely return to place another order.

There are a lot of food options to choose from at this place. My most recent order last week was a cheese steak everything on it, a chicken cheese steak everything on it, and the cheesesteak was a combo that came with fries and drink. Starting with the cheese steak: it was nice size, the bread was good but there was not a lot of cheese, hardly any cheese visible on the sub. I had to add ketchup and mayo to bring out a full flavor. The hots were evident and there was some lettuce & tomato. The fries that came with this were like a small order of fries I was expecting more. However the texture of the fries was nice. Lastly, a extra large drink cane with it. I'd rather swap out the ginormous drink with more fries. The second part of my order was a chicken cheesesteak. Plentiful on the meat but I don't think I'd buy it again. Just felt like it was missing something. There is a large assortment of desserts. They look delicious. I ordered around 3pm, wasn't busy. I made a phone-in order they said would take 20 min. I got there like 45 minutes later and they made my fries once I got there and my subs were waiting nice and warm. I know how crazy this place can get at night with very long wait times, so I'll stick to early ordering. A long time ago my husband had the blackened chicken pasta and that was good. Id go back. Some reviews mentioned the employees do not wear gloves, I'll have to keep an eye out next time because I did not notice.

It was late and we really needed to eat. We knew that this carry out was open however we were told that the service was poor. So we called our order in but when we got there it time over 40 minutes to get our order. We order a fish sub and cheesesteak fries and drinks. The subs were huge and very tasty. Overall the food was worth the wait. For a late night options the food was good!

This place has good food, but inconsistent service; - Missing order items - Canceled or reassigned orders w/o explanation - Delivery notifications are sent, but orders never arrive or are later canceled in transit. - Seemingly arbitrary service availability; don't know when they're opened/closed. - I never want to order on site or via pickup; the cliental...SMH, lacks etiquette and are unruly. This place is off my list until I see consistently high service levels.

Maaaan ... idk what the hell happened to this spot , must be under new management or something. Will be the last time I patronize Santa Maria's . I was so damn mad I took my food back and had them make it again. I was served old dried out wings and was charged $15 dollars for some Bullshit.

Absolutely done giving this place a chance every time I went the order would be wrong when I got home. They say third times a charm, well it sure was straight from hell! I place a order for pickup. I leave work and take at least 15-20 mins to get there and I arrive for them to tell me oh yea we gave that order away. I show them the tracker is still showing your store and I never added a delivering address? They told me to talk it up with the second party who orchestrated the ordering online process instead of just making the food again. Like honestly they need help. zero stars

The wings were good but could have been bigger. The menu showed a lot of tasty items but 1 person did get chicken and shrimp alfredo and said the crabmeat was nasty, not to get the crabmeat on anything. I do want to try the shrimp alfredo.

This is a absolutely a Bad choose- Mainly for people who actually enjoy Really good n clean food. The mentality of the staff is completely horrible. Depending who is working ..... they will close anytime they want. As a traveling campaign builder- i/I've travel most of the world...... and I personally wouldn't recommend this to any one. You'd be better off going through Uber eats etc-

Went to pick up some carryout Wednesday night and even my 10 y/o was disappointed! The wings was very small and wasnt seasoned well. The cheesesteak sub barley had cheese on it, my son said it taste plain. This spot really fell off. Only good for pizza now

I called in and ordered stuffed shrimp with salad (w/ dressing on the side) and French fries. My friend ordered a crab cake and French fries and we were told that we had to order the pizza when we got there. So, after 25 minutes, I arrive and I go inside...the woman the counter was not paying any mind to the customers inside the store. She was overwhelmed by the phone and the amount of orders being processed. She gives me my pizza, stuffed shrimp, the salad had dressing on it and I had no French fries. She proceeded to tell me to wait for the rest. So, I went to the car. Ten minutes later I come back in and she gives me the rest......without the two order of French fries. She proceeds to ask me my order (before checking the receipt she had in her hand) and then get the French fries. I loved the food. Great seasoning and texture. BUT the customer service here is a huge concern for me.

This is what 16" pepperoni pizza is not supposed to look like...Burnt crust all around and on the bottom... I traveled 20min for this crap.... Oh, I was told that I could travel back 20min to get another pizza...No Thanks..I guess they never heard of Uber Eats,GrubHub ect...

I first discovered this carry out when I was making a GrubHub delivery. I've since been back 3 times and every time the food has been on point.the seafood alfredo is really good, give it a try.

This restaurant has terrible customer service. I ordered stuffed shrimp and salad. A staff member who was sweeping the floor, put her hands into the salad bar(NO GLOVES). I told them I didn't want the food. No refund. No food made over. I regret going there. I WILL Never go anywhere near that restaurant. Awful Customer Service

Staff hung up on me 4 times and are very rude, have no customer service skills. Waited 3 hours for my order and refused to check on the status. Don't order here if you're hungry or don't have time to wait 2 hours.

They forgot to put all the toppings on my cheeseburger so it came plain. The steak & cheese fries were amazing but the fries were not cooked all the way. My boyfriend got the cheesesteak which was okay. Good for late night ordering.

Manager has no customer service. Ordered food last night order was wrong. Called back today Manager attitude and response was oh well sorry. Please leave Baltimore area we deserve better than this. Now I have to wait 8 days to reverse the charges. thanks

Omg I love this place! I grew up on eating here. Well I ordered my normal stuffed shrimp and a crab cake platter and requested 2 strawberry cakes with white icing. I asked for the cake that way because they have a strawberry shortcake also. I was sooooo anxious to get my food. Food finally came. I look in the bag and bam! Yep... Instantly upset. There are 2 strawberry shortcakes. I'm like well I do eat them sometimes so don't get to upset. I went to take a bite and the cake was delicious but the strawberry sauce taste like medicine. I was back to upset. I pushed the 2 cakes aside that I wasn't going to eat and went for the stuffed shrimp. My friend and I get so excited to get them. We opened the platter and stuck the fork in and right away knew something was wrong. We bit into it and looked at each other the same time. It was like eating mushy stuffing with pieces of lump crab in it. It was horrible! They changed the recipe. Why would you do that. Saving money thought a total wreck. I picked through it for the crab meat from one of them and gave someone else the rest. I couldn't stomach it and didn't feel like messing up my stomach or picking through mushy breading. The crab cake platter was the same. I love their fries and salad so we ate that. A waste of $111.11! I'm too scared to order again after all these years. Who would even murder a crab that way? Y'all need to go back to the original way. I cleared the tray enough to show you the bread. A whole crab cake of bread! I rated then before with a pic. You can see the difference.

I will never order anything from them again. I ordered a chef salad and got a ham salad with 2 pieces of meat and all lettuce. NEVER AGAIN.

Food is great but customer service sucks you can order your food from across town get there and its not done. Online ordering without using grub hub is weird it's in LA location that'll take your payment but never gets to the actual restaurant owner claims something must be wrong with my phone and I need to change GPS. I don't feel valued as a customer at all and its said that I Am forced to eat from here cause it's close to home.

My fiance and I decided to go here because we did not feel like traveling beyond the neighborhood for some food. I lived in this neighborhood for twenty years and this was my 2nd time. I have issues that they prepare food without gloves. in fact, I am contacting the Health Department to inquire what the regulations are regarding public food preparations. The cooking area is not very clean, too me. AND OF COURSE, the order was incorrect. We were too tired and hungry to go back and we live 6 minutes away. So you know we had to be very hungry to settle for this place. This place has potential considering the location, not for customer service nor cleanliness. Unfortunately, when establishments like this are in certain areas, they tend treat the customers based on the environment AND THAT'S UNFORTUNATE. Based on what I've experienced (remember only my 2nd visit), I would give this place NO STARS. HOPEFULLY, THE OWNER IS READING THIS!!!

This is one of the most disgusting restaurants I've ever been to In My Life.... if I could give it negative Stars I would..Not 1 food handler wore a hairnet or wore gloves ... the overall cleanliness of the food preparation area was disgusting...I looked at the person preparing the food handle raw red meat,raw chicken and raw seafood not once did that washed his hands just went from one thing to next..He Pick up a dirty rag wipe counter and threw it back in the corner.I also witnessed the cashiers handling food as well..It was disgusting to see the way that these people handle food I will never go back here..

The food is AMAZEBALLLLLZ here!!!! I'm def a foodie and a mother lol so I can cook, & know how to work these taste buds!!! I've gotten the blackened chicken pasta, blackened chicken pita, chicken Alfredo, Philly cheese steak(which is HUGE) their fries are perfect & their club sandwich....the large half&half is cheap & strawberry shortcake & cookies&cream cake, is finger licking!! Lol .....GO TRY SOMETHING!!

I like the way how these people there working hard at this place! The food is really good specially the cheese steaks! You should try! The fries are great tooo and everything is made to order! It is located in bad location that you could find more drugs in that area rather than restaurant, however I will salute these people working hard and making good food at very reasonable price plus good and friendly service!

Food is great, but on occasion they might just get your order wrong, and blame you for it. It is best to call your order in unless you enjoy long waits.

This place is amazing! It's clean & everything on the menu that I have tried is delicious! The cheesesteak is delicious, the fries, the crab cakes, the pizza everything has been good!! Ohhh and their Half & Half is my FAV! My coworkers and I order from here all the time, the only suggestion I have is that if you are pressed for time call your order in about 20-30mins ahead! Love this place!

It's really cool to get a 12 inch sub this tasty for this price. Sometimes it can be a little hectic picking up your food because it seems to always be busy but I guess that's a good sign of a carry out restaurant.

Just got an office order. They charged extra for items that their menu said were included. Wraps are identical to Gyros. "Gyro or Chicken Gyro" means Chicken Gyro. Food was adequate, but I will not deal with these liars again.

I can't believe the reviews on this place. The food is plentiful but either bland or over salted. My friend got the wings and a group of young men advised he should get something else. I asked one of them why and he stated the only flavor the wings have is burnt! He went on to say that they must re-fry the wings all day long in unchanged grease to taste that way. Told us to go ahead and buy them and I guarantee you will wish you listened to me. He was right. I ordered the cheese steak with shrimp - talk about a salt bomb. When your order is ready they call out what you ordered - unfortunately someone else also ordered what I got and since she was there first I figured it was her order but it was mine. The cook appeared behind the glass partition and started yelling "somebody better come get this damn steak sub". I asked the cashier if it was mine he said no then a while later said he was sorry and it was my order. Crazy. This place is already in a bad neighborhood - enough to keep most people from even slowing down and they allow the cook to cuss at customers? I could see if the food was good and people were lined up around the block but it's not. I'm guessing it's convenient location and late night hours help. On a positive note though they have a beautiful showcase of fresh looking salads and desserts. The portions of these are HUGE. This place started as a carry out but it looks like they are working on putting a sit down restaurant on the side. Parking lot is dimly lit so watch your surroundings at night. We saw a girl get scared out of her wits when two men approached her from the alleyway as she got out of her car. Luckily it appeared that she knew the men and they came through the alley to scare her. It worked! They scared everyone out there.

I had deliver it was on time however my son order not messe up we called back they told us they would deliver another sub we waite9 for an hour and called back then they told we had to call the deliver line after they told us they was denying us a new order I love the restaurant been yo them before the new owners they need to get the deliver system together because it a mess

I love this restaurant. The food is always good. Now i do not have to get my son, when he comes in town,to take me way out in the county to get food that i like,verses me cooking. I am 68 years old, so you know that i do cook. Their food is so, so, so good.

The service is slow you have to place an order 3 hours in advance to have your food almost ready, when you come to pick up your food it's still not ready. Customer service sucks, like someone owes them something. Every time I order my food is always messed up and then they have an attitude when you tell them what's wrong.

there pizza is the closest i could get to nyc pizza! i have not tried any other dishes! but i will!
