Santo Mare

An exceptional dining experience and without doubt one of the best Mediterranean fish restaurants I have ever visited. The quality of the seafood is outstanding—fresh fish flown in directly from Italy and Spain, which truly makes a remarkable difference. The flavours, presentation, and authenticity are simply superb. A special mention to Mike, the manager, whose warm, attentive, and professional service made the evening even more memorable. We felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our visit. We absolutely loved it and will most certainly be returning.

Exceptional fish restaurant in central London. The service was impeccable (with a particular note to Mike who served us), friendly and very professional. The food was amazing, I thoguht the lobster pasta was the stand-out dish, but the gnocci with red shrimp was the overall favorite at the table. The fresh fish was amazing, simply served with potatoes, tomatores and olives, beautifully cooked and an impressive centrepience. It's worth going just to see how the fish display at the back of the restarant.

Probably the best food I’ve had in a while. The portion was huge and the food was delicious. I had a great time catching up with a friend while enjoying the wonderful seafood and pasta.

A friend of mine has suggested this restaurant and I decided to celebrate a special birthday there. From the call in the morning with Damiano to organise the dinner, to the late night that we left, everything went absolutely perfect. Damiano has an exceptional service, and his team as well… the quality of food it’s next level! Nothing to say… this is the place where I’ll go for my special occasion!! ❤️ Thanks Santo Mare, thanks Damiano, to have made this day more special! ❤️

We have been looking forward to trying famous Ice cream at Santo Mare for a while now, and was so glad that we did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too! This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The warm lighting, rustic decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for a relaxed meal. Paulina should get at least 5 stars for her helpful service and good attitude She greeted us with genuine smile and went en extra mile to accommodate us with our seating preferences! Great meal! Great service! Planning our next visit soon again!

We had a fantastic dinner last night—everything was perfect! The fish was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and beautifully prepared. The service truly stood out, with Alessandro and Mike going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. A truly memorable evening—we’ll definitely be back!

Incredible seafood and elegant atmosphere! We had a fantastic dinner at Santo Mare, the grilled calamari and lobster tagliatelle were outstanding, and the tiramisu was the perfect finish. Good portions. Fresh ingredients, attentive service, and a beautifully designed space. A real gem near Marylebone!

Tried to walk in at 7pm on a Saturday night. Asked if we had a reservation - we did not. Said they were full. There was one table seated outside and one table seated inside. Good luck, Santo Mare.

Hate to do a negative review after being away from Yelp for this long. Food here is quite good, and expensive as many reviewers have noted. But having spent the money required, including the mandatory service charge, we really felt unwelcome at this establishment. Not sure why, as we've been here before, and respect the staff and cuisine. Maybe the food is so good that customers are willing to return in spite of the discourteous treatment.

Great Italian restaurant featuring fresh seafood in Marylebone. Looking for a new place to eat between Christmas and New Year (2019), and we found this gem: elegant, intimate, lively, and the food was oh-so-delicious. The calamari was fresh, crunchy but didn't feel oily, probably the best I've ever had. We also shared two pasta (clam and lobster) among 3 people and the portion was huge! There's also a seafood counter in a very prominent position in the restaurant so everyone can marvel at those super fresh looking seafood (apparently shipped directly from coast of Italy). Would highly recommend! Also want to try their sister restaurant Osteria Napoletana at Notting Hill.

Insanely expensive. Average food. Mediocre service. I'm pretty sure this is a money laundering operation. That said - the tiramisu is to DIE for. I may or may not have gone there a few times just for that!!
