This morning, our group stopped by your restaurant to eat. While everyone around us was enjoying their pho and chatting happily -- along with the natural slurping sounds from nearby tables -- a server suddenly came to our table and asked us to lower our voices because someone had complained. When we asked who it was, she didn't answer.
We hope the restaurant can handle situations like this better in the future. It's not appropriate to approach our table like that just because of a few overly sensitive customers.
Maybe that customer thought they were dining at a five-star restaurant -- but even those places are often lively, with people talking, laughing, and enjoying their meals. And this is a weekend lunch, meant to be a joyful, social experience -- not something to be done in silence like in a library.
And honestly, if that customer was truly bothered, they should've had the courage -- be a man -- to come speak to us directly, instead of hiding behind the server and disappearing without showing their face.
