"Sapling is an intimate and relaxed spot in Dalston. Drinking a glass of natural wine and grazing on a selection of cured meats at the central counter isn’t going to be as fun here as it is at somewhere like P. Franco, but it’s still a nice spot for an early in the game date. Amazing food and gorgeous decor. There's an island table for groups, but designed mostly for couples. The tapas are all a decent size, with lots of variety across fish, meet, and vegetarian options. The wine list is great, with everything also available by the glass. The service was a bit slow and we had to re-ask for one of the plates they forgot, but overall a good experience.

Absolutely superb! This is my new local - great choice of bio-dynamic wines and top quality small plates. I am now absolutely hooked on the gougères, which are sublime. Staff are very knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. This place feels comfortable and welcoming and is a great choice for date night or a catch-up with friends.

Friendly staff, beautiful setting and lovely food. The wine menue is amazing and good value. Loved the fact that they have a handwritten “wine by the bottle book” next to the regular wine menue, feels very personal, great selection. Food is high quality and executed to perfection with distinct tastes, sending your taste buds and visuals on a rather pleasant trip.

Really amazing place. It’s the perfect size, intimate & cozy, whilst feeling airy. Delicious exciting food and wines - interesting and new whilst being relaxed. Perfect for a date or a small group of friends. Fast becoming a favourite of mine. I even went once in my own for an early dinner. Always gets it just right.

Lovely new restaurant. Extremely friendly staff who where happy to help and v knowledgeable on the food and drinks menu. The food was amazing. Really top quality dishes and delicious ingredients. Strongly recommend visiting this establishment.
