The staff here are the triple threat: friendly, funny, and helpful – a beautiful combo in food service. Their flavor game is seriously impressive – take the blueberry lemon poppyseed donut, which could have easily been a one-dimensional sugar bomb but instead hit all the right notes like a tiny edible symphony. The taro is apparently their claim to fame (and I can see why), plus they let you stuff your own fillings into certain donuts, which feels dangerously close to playing god but in the best way. Visiting the area from out of town, and dropped in for a treat. The donuts are DELICIOUS!! So fresh, so flavorful. The apple fritter was spectacular and we got the "sunflower donut" to share- it a pull apart treat, like monkey bread. SO GOOD!! The young lady that served me was so friendly and kind, and gave top shelf service. I was 100% happy with my experience here.

Sarah Donuts in Decatur, GA is worth it. Everything from the food to the customer service will want you coming back for more and you’ll be addicted. They make everything fresh daily and work really hard to satisfy their customers. The prices are very affordable to also match the quality of their great tasty treats. Nice place for a donut and drink if you want a break from the usual chain stores. Donuts are made daily starting at 1 am in the morning, making them very fresh. Nice variety of donuts. We just stopped by and picked up a couple of donuts for the road, but next time I’ll get coffee. I had a cinnamon roll (bun?), and my wife a sour cream donut. Prices seem normal. Service was excellent and we had a nice surprise of a few donut holes when we opened the bag.

I brought these to a party, and a bunch of people asked me where I got them since they were so good. Since I got a box of them using the Too Good To Go app, I didn't get to choose the flavors, but they were all good. The texture of the was pillowy soft with the perfect amount of chew, and the flavor and sweetness was just right, too. The interior of the building was also very clean with seating along the walls, and it was interesting to see the donut filling machines in the back. The service was also fast and courteous.

The people at this donut shop do this out of love. A labor of love and they show the customers love. I didn't go to Krispy Kreme anymore to sweet and they stopped selling the cream filled white glazed donuts. The donuts selection here is plentiful. I honestly think that these are the best donuts in Decatur Ga. I been to the other place on Candler RD before and the other place in Decatur called RD they are not for me they don't taste good like these..Delicious donuts right here. I went before closing donuts are everywhere not like another place I go everything is about gone. Fresh and quality also price point and quantity. I got 2 dozen donuts to go.

Such a cute, family owned shop with super affordable pricing and donuts that are sooo soft and yummy. When I tell you this is one of my favs!! Every morning or every other morning I stop by this little peace of Heaven Parking is easy because it's located in a shopping center. When you walk in it smells like fresh pastries and donuts yummy!! You absolutely will fall for this donut shop if you love donuts like me. They bake fresh donuts every morning and their service is spectacular! They have this maple bacon donut omg!!! The red velvet donut is amazing as well... they have such a nice selection you're bound to find a your own fav!! You can also get coffee, tea, and other beverages. Maybe you're sick of those 5 dollar, cereal-encrusted hipster pastries? You know, the ones that resemble a donut only by the fact of being round? Maybe also you're sick of those donut recipes that are so sickening sweet, the richness will turn you queasy in the Georgia sun. Retrieve your sanity at Sarah Donuts, by far my favorite in the city. I'm not exaggerating either. They have a different philosophy on their main recipes, more similar to donuts I would eat in Texas when I lived there in a previous life. They should be light, fluffy, and the glaze should not be too sweet. The pastry should not linger in your mouth, and eating two of them should satisfy but not weigh you down at all. They opened a shop in Decatur sometime around 2018/2019 and have survived the pandemic alongside a constellation of locations outside the city on the north end. Look for the giant pink donut that's visible from the Clairmont/North Decatur intersection. The interior is friendly and colorful, with the product occupying a small glass case in the center. There are maybe 20 variations for sale, including jalapeno/cheese kolaches. That's a pig in a blanket for you Atlantans, and it's why I'm guessing the owners have also previously lived in Texas, too. I usually order a nice chocolate peanut, or a chocolate glazed sour cream. The dough is so light, it might as well be floating. The sour cream dough is just a little crispy, as God himself intended. Get some nice coffee to wash 'em down too; you know, treat yourself.

First time here It's family owned and cute inside. The donuts were fresh and tasted good. Some were better than others lol. Low key, ALOT of their flavor literally tasted the same, weird. The donuts were fluffy, and not dry! The guy that helped me was friendly and fast. I got in and out with no issues. I wouldn't say these are the "best donuts in Atlanta" but I would try them again. 3.5/5 only because some of the flavors I got wasn't really flavorful. They were kinda bland.

The service was super friendly and given that it was my first time there, I had a lot of questions. The lady answered them patiently and helped me with my selection. I've been looking for these sour cream donuts for ever, and they taste just as I hoped. The other donuts are fluffy and delicious too. In addition, the price is VERY fair. Would recommend!

Great donuts with a very broad selection. Apple fritters were great and not too much glaze like other places. Eclairs have a choose your own filling option with strawberry, cherry, custard, or lemon. Also they were giving out donut hole samples with 2 donut holes to go for free. Open on Monday unlike some other places.

Have been enjoying Sarah's Donuts for several years. Can't ever pass them up when in neighborhood. Have to say their glazed donuts are the best I've had. Not usually a cake donut fan but their Red Velvet donuts to savor as a wonderful treat. Cinnamon twist are unique and mouth meltingly wonderful.

FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! My wife and I go here on occasion at 5:30am. This morning the woman who generally takes most of the orders, rudely began helping a woman who walked in 1/2 way through us ordering. Rude, rude, rude! Never tipping again! Rude! Attention Sarah Donuts! U don't stop serving the clients who were already in the middle of choosing donuts, to help a rude woman who said she "ordered the night before ". Who cares if she ordered the night before, u wait till you stop serving the first client, then u help the next. It's a simple business concept and you failed! Not a happy regular client!

Cute donuts and amazing decorations. I tried the caramel and sprinkle donuts. They are cooked just right. Chewy and sweet. I would love to come back try them fresh made ( I ate the 6hrs after they were made)

Delightful. Every bite was delicious. I'd seen someone post about this spot but didn't realize there were several locations. My first attempt to try was a bust as they were already sold out. So, I made sure to get there earlier on my 2nd visit. I got Strawberry Iced, Glazed and Lemon Filled. I think I had another flavor but can't remember. Is it bad that I ate 4/6 the same day? ‍ They weren't too sweet or too doughy. I enjoyed them. The last two, I ate for breakfast. I prob could've nuked them for a few seconds to re-soften them a bit but they were still good. If donuts pass the overnight test, that's a win in my book. I don't think they would survive 3 or more days out, but seriously...who takes that long to eat donuts right. I will definitely go again. I'll try to get only 2, but don't quote me on that.

I visited this location this morning. I ordered the cinnamon roll, a plain donut, and a Bavarian cream donut. I don't know what I expected, but they were wonderful. Soft, fresh, and tasty!!! I will be visiting again!! I wish I would have taken a picture, but they didn't stand a chance.

This neighborhood gem, famed for its remarkable affordability, had a surprise in store for me and my 3-year-old son one rainy Monday morning before school. Walking in, we were greeted by a display of donuts that, honestly, looked rather generic at first glance. But as they say, the proof of the pudding (or should I say donut?) is in the eating. We decided to dive in, and boy, are we glad we did! I had the pleasure of trying their apple fritter, chocolate frosted donut, and the delightfully bite-sized donut holes. Despite their humble appearance, these donuts packed a punch with their taste. The apple fritter had a satisfyingly crispy outside and a soft, apple/cinnamon interior. The chocolate frosted donut was a delicious blend of fluffy dough and rich chocolate frosting that didn't overwhelm with sweetness. Meanwhile, my son held onto his pink frosted (likely strawberry, but he wouldn't share, so I can't confirm) donut as if it was his prized possession. His look of pure bliss with each bite was worth the trip alone! So while Sarah Donuts may not look as fancy as sublime or duck donuts, they more than make up for it with their delectable flavors, affordable prices, and delightful service! Rating: 4.5/5

I've ordered thru Uber Eats twice now. I don't think I'll order online again. The first time, I ordered the $19 dozen mix. I had a requested a few specific donuts (a chocolate bar, a maple bar and a old fashion). For this I was UP charged to $40. Never in all my years of donuts (and coming from Cali I've had ALOT and we're not talking Dunkin') I never ever heard of these being SPECIALTY donuts. And then to add up to $40? Like c'mon. I called over and over to try and see what the charge was and got no answer until the driver left. Basically I paid either way. They were pretty good, soft, a little on the oily side and not as fluffy as I'm used to. FF to todays second order. Keeping the first experience in mind and being told to order FANCY if I want specific ones like my chocolate bar. I ordered the Fancy mix for $25. I don't like filled donuts or ones with strawberry. So once again (as a pregnant momma w/a craving atp) I asked for chocolate bar, maple bar, old fashion instead. How about I got 3 SPRINKLE STAR SHAPED DONUTS instead of the swap I asked for. I'm NOT HAPPY. Is it a big deal? No. But if I followed the menu like I said and y'all set the expectation to make a request why don't you honor that? You might as well say, WE CHOOSE FOR YOU - No special request. Anyhow, Ive given my two chances. It's much easier ordering from Ray's and I never get the hassle that I've gotten with Sara.

Better than Sublime and Duck Donuts! This place has the best variety of donuts I have seen in Atlanta. On top of that, the branding at this location was fantastic and it was a very cool space. We got a mixed dozen of normal, fancy, old fashioned, and filled donuts to take back to the family. They were pricey but it could have been worse considering the size of the menu. They also had a cold case with milk! This is a must for any donut place. Although we were there early (before 7AM), the shelves were stocked and customers were flowing in and out while we made up our minds. This should be your first donuts stop in North Atlanta!

Super clean and the decor is cute and inviting. Simple coffee options but the coffee is strong and flavorful. We bought a chocolate eclair that the clerk filled on the spot, as well as a Bavarian cream, Apple fritter, sunflower doughnut, sausage roll, and a red velvet cake doughnut. All were fresh tasting and delicious. Service was fast, efficient, and polite.

This was my AMAZING. They fill the cream filled donuts right in front of you, so it's fresh! Donuts are very affordable and delicious. The coffee is perfect. The service is amazing the guy that works at the register is the nicest man ever! The ambiance is calming but exciting. This place is amazing! Grabbed breakfast here this morning. My son had both the vanilla & chocolate frosted donuts w/ sprinkles. He liked both. I had a bacon, egg & cheese croissant. Very good; I'd order again. The apple fritter looked very tasty as did the sausage rolls. We'll return.

This was one of the best places I have ever gotten my donuts from. I have been recommended to go to this place and try it out, and the flavors were so unique! I LOVED the red velvet glazed donut and the cinnamon twist, and I would personally go back to get another one again. This place opens at 5 am, so the items are in high demand and run out quick. The donuts were also at a remarkably great price, please try this area out when you have the chance!

I personally didn't go there, a friend bought donuts from here. Im NOT a donut person at all! So with that said....i ate 3 donuts lol. There were only 6 in the box so i didnt want to eat it all. So so sooooo good!!

Oh man! This smells like a legit donut shop! Omg so much to choose from but all looked so pretty and fresh :) owner was really kind and welcoming despite the early hour lol but I got the cinnamon sunflower and it was so soft, sugary, and delicious this whole area is teaming with amazing foodie delights!

OMG Sarah!! These donuts are amazing. I was leaving my massage appointment and was heading home and I was pondering what to eat for breakfast and out the corner of my eye I spot this shop. I did a u-turn and went in. I order a half dozen donuts. 5 yeast and 1 cake. They yeast donuts literally melt in your mouth and they was fresh. You have earned a return customer and free marketing to anyone who will listen.

It's a great little doughnut shop with the classics. Get there early because this shop opens at 5:30am closes at 2:00pm. The prices are good too!

Took me forever to try because there lines are always so long in the morning but I did and it surpassed my expectations. They aren't one of those donut shops loaded up with toppings and an overwhelming amount of sugar, these are just basic well made donuts. The glaze beat any other glaze I have ever had. There is not a single donut I've tried that I don't like. Any time I bring them into work they disappear well before noon. I was even surprised to like the jelly filled donuts which I don't typically. They take glazed donuts and stuff them right in front of you with whichever flavor you choose. The strawberry and raspberry are both amazing! Sarah donuts is phenomenal!!

I've heard about them for some time. And I've seen a few of their shops pop up recently. They must do good business ‍. Yes they do! I was headed to the city for a long day and decided to stop. The staff is so sweet! There was so much to take in. The donuts looked sensational! I decided to try their sour cream. It was even better than it looked. Moist, flavorful and not too sugary. Sarah's Donuts is now on my list of places to stop in the AM! You should visit one of their locations soon. Why? Because ASH SAID IT! #ashsaidit

The donuts here are the best donuts I've ever had. My first experience with Sarah Donuts was after a coworker had brought half a dozen to work. I couldn't stop myself and ate 4 donuts in one sitting - I have no regrets. They are that addicting. Sarah Donuts is a Korean mom and pop donut shop. They have several locations including Suwanee, Duluth, Norcross, and Cumming. This location is in the North Decatur Plaza a few doors down from Suno's. It is a small shop - there are a few tables and chairs for seating but most people purchase their items to-go. It's not really a place to sit down and study/do some work. All of their donuts are reasonably priced. You can easily get a donut here for under a $1. The cake donuts are $.89, or $9 for a dozen. Their fancy donuts, pastries, sunflower donuts, and sausage rolls range from $1.29 - $2.50. They sell coffee here too for less than $2 and they have a fridge full of other beverages such as milk and juice. All the donuts here are good, but be sure to try any of their cake donuts! I was surprised to find that their cake donuts aren't dry like other donuts I've had in the past. They have that perfect cake moisture/consistency. Red Velvet Glazed - My favorite donut is their Red Velvet GLAZED Donut (not to be confused with their fancy red velvet donut, which is not glazed). I highly recommend this one. Sour Cream Donut - This donut is interesting, but in a good way. The best way I can describe it is that it tastes like a glazed donut, it is still sweet - but creamier and more rich. Apple Fritter - This thing is huge. I thought it would be incredibly but but it's not! It's delicious and fresh with good cinnamon flavor - honestly the best apple fritter I've ever had. Plain Cake Donut, Blueberry Cake Donut, Glazed Cake Donut, Cinnamon Cake Donut, and the Cinnamon Stick are all delicious as well. You really can't go wrong with any of the donuts here. Service is great! The store owner is very kind and sweet. I will most definitely keep coming back. Note: There is a $5 card minimum. Store hours are from 5:30AM - 2:00PM Monday - Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.

I should be ashamed of myself (but I'm not)! I came here right after working out to celebrate national donut day. I was so happy to hear that they recently opened a location in Decatur because their other locations are pretty far from my house. Parking is plentiful and free. The shop is small, bright, clean and has a few tables for customers. They offer complimentary coffee, but I don't drink it so I didn't partake. The two ladies at the register greeted me promptly and were friendly. Everything looked good, but I opted for a red velvet, glazed and a sour cream doughnut. My first bite was the glazed and I was in total shock. It was so good! The red velvet was rich and delicious. The sour cream was fantastic as well. These were by far some the best doughnuts I've ever tasted. They were all soft and fresh. Thank God they close at 2 because this would be a real problem for me knowing they're around the corner from the gym I frequent. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I was blown away by how good the doughnuts were. I cannot wait to return and try more delicious doughnuts.

Cute spot in a big plaza and busy intersection. Very quiet. When you walk in there's cute chairs and decor. Tv screens to display prices and options. Came in on an early Tuesday not many people around. Ordered a half dozen assorted and a few extra cinnamon rolls. Now when I say these cinnamon rolls were so soft and not overly sweet they were sooo good. She might have been the owner but she was very nice. Super nice selection of donuts. Will definitely be back if in the area. Place was clean plenty of parking.

So delicious!!! If you've never been to a Sarah Donuts you need to go right now (if they're closed wait until they open). I finally got a chance to go to this location and it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend getting sausage rolls and of course donuts. Their donuts are always fluffy, soft, and oh so tasty!!!

Hey there! So I was feeling really good this morning and decided to be the cheer bringer this morning. Someone always rotates the donut schedule at work and I was looking for something no one has bought. I came across Sarah donuts and what do you know! They were fantastic. Fresh soft awesomeness wrapped in a cute little box. The chocolate sauce dropped off a few Boston Creme's making it a Delight for the rest. I personally haven't eaten one in the daytime because I've been fasting but from what others have mentioned - they are something spectacular and I will try mine this evening. Will definitely stop by if I'm in the area again.

The glazed options are a little too saccharine for me, but the cake choices are more my speed. Try the red velvet and blueberry. Basic donuts will run less than a buck, and some of the fancier options are around $1.29. Go early to ensure you get what you want. Also, look for free samples on the counter. Service is exceptional. Once pre-caffeine me spaced out and left my small coffee ($1.59) at the shop. One of the employees chased me down to bring me my abandoned cup. I was totally impressed and super grateful. This local chain is open 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM daily except Sundays. There is a credit card minimum. Find Sarah in the North Decatur Plaza betwixt Finders Keepers and Bullgogi.

I have stopped by Sarah's a couple times. The first time, it was close to closing so there was not much selection left. I had more luck on the second visit and was able to pick up a variety of donuts. They included Glazed Glazed Twist Blueberry Cake Cinnamon Roll Apple Fritter Sunflower I did ask what the different was between cinnamon roll and sunflower was as they seemed so similar. The response was that the sunflower was more cinnamon-y. Glazed donuts, blueberry, and cinnamon roll were pretty good. The sunflower was AMAZING. I will be getting that everytime I go now. My mom had the apple fritter and really enjoyed it. I wish you could select your donuts for delivery. They do assorted mixes. I mean, I get it. But I won't be able to purchase as there are only specific donuts that I am interested in.

This is EXACTLY the type of donut shop I have been looking for in the atlanta metro area. I have been to all the 'top' shops around the city and for me personally, the donuts here fit what I am looking for. I don't need the fancy, unique, over-the-top toppings and sugar that some of the other places use. The donuts here are standard cake donuts, but with AWESOME quality and taste. For cake donuts, they have a great variety of the standard options you are accustomed to, with some seasonal flavors and some unique elements as well. They are made fresh daily, and the store opens really early. The coffee also is pretty good quality and reasonably priced. They do have a good variety of glazed and jelly/cream-filled donut options as well. I am not a big fan of those donuts so I can't speak personally to their taste, but the people who I have gotten them for really like them as well! Sometimes there is something to be said for doing something simple, and doing it really, really, well. The donuts might look 'simple', but their flavor and quality is amazing!
