Sarrica's Little Italy

Fantastic place for an early Valentines Day dinner! Our server Noah was wonderful. He described how the dishes were made and the decorations in the restaurant. The Caprese salad with the homemade mozzarella was so fresh and delicious. The Margarita pizza was so simple but it was bursting with flavor! Thank you for making our date night perfect!

The place was beautifully set up in Valentines Decor ,it was packed and buzzing with calm vibes and warm ambiance!! Our server was Kaylee and she was amazing! The food was great! Our first time there and it will not be our last... Sarricas was the best choice for our first Valentines day together ❤️ Thank you for bringing wonderful food to our community ❤️ 😊

I celebrated Valentine's Day with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. We had two salads and shared the lasagna. Noah was really attentive, but also gave us enough space to enjoy our own experience. The atmosphere is dimly lit and very romantic perfect for any occasion. Everything about this place is a 10 out of 10! Probably one of the things I enjoyed most of the fact that their menu changes every two weeks and they import everything in Italy and everything has made super Duper fresh.

The FIAMMA gourmet pizza was a flavor rush, excellent! The Lasagna was delicious. We lucked out and were able to get a small King Lime Cake from their signature king cake collection. Nice twist on a king cake…tasty and not all sugary! Special thanks to Kylee for the awesome food recommendations and for hooking us up with the king cake. Definitely a place you should frequent!

We decided to try it out during a Saturday afternoon. Our server Noah was great in understanding the menu to us. If you thought you've had italian food before, you haven't been here. I played it safe w the lasagna and that didn't disappoint. The menu changes often so I can't google what my wife got, but her pasta dish was just as good. Only reason I gave 4/5 stars on the Atmosphere is cuz we're not fans of dimly-lit restaurants, lol. But the decor and stuff is definitely a conversation starter.

It was so incredibly delicious that we forgot to photograph any of it! The food is always so fresh and delicious and tastes like it’s made fresh with genuine love and care. The kids had a great time and Kylee made our night so special by even playing along with our family table games. The margarita pizza, calamari pasta and lasagna were phenomenal and topped the night off with cannoli (of course) and their new item: panna cotta. Always on point! Pro tip: always start with the puffeto!!

Incredible dining from start to finish. Authentic Italian food with fresh made pasta all food products imported from Italy… Absolutely incredible will definitely be coming back to try every item on this menu ,which changes every two weeks. an awesome addition to our locally owned restaurants and food culture that Lafayette thrives on!

The food is always amazing, as is the service. We had Noah tonight. We had the Fra Diavola pasta and the pizza margherita. The lemoncello king cake was also fantastic.

Everything was fresh and delicious. Pepperoni pizza was great. We also had the hot homemade bread with cheese and marina dipping sauce, fabulous. Great Chianti Reserva wine from a long wine list. Service was on point our server Noah did an out standing job. The place is small, it was packed with a long waiting list. Don't miss this place for absolutely fantastic food- you will feel like you are in Italy.

Sarricas Italian is by far the best Italian restaurant in Lafayette. They import everything directly from Italy, and the ingredients are so authentic--it's perfection. The pizza dough is incredible; their thin crust pizza is unlike anything else in town. I usually don't eat the crust, but here I ate every bite. You must order the Puffetta appetizer--it's melted mozzarella in their marinara sauce with puff dough, served fresh out of the oven, perfect for dipping. The pasta is another highlight--they hand make their own, and it's so good. The portion is just right, flavorful without feeling heavy. Serra's has quickly become our new favorite in town. Highly recommend.

Service was wonderful the food was authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was what I expected in a popular restaurant a little on the loud side but to be expected with everyone enjoying their food. Only small complaint, change out the chairs not very comfortable.

My wife and I visited Sarrica's Little Italy last night. The atmosphere was very dark, we actually had to use a phone flashlight just to read the menu. Not ideal when you're trying to settle in for a relaxing dinner. They started us off with house bread, which was just okay. Nothing memorable. For an appetizer, we had a dish I can't remember the name of, but it was basically bread with a cheesy marinara sauce, this was the highlight of the meal. Flavorful and satisfying. We split the classic pepperoni pizza for our main dish. The pizza itself was good, but like most pepperoni pizzas, it was pretty greasy. Good flavor, solid crust, but you'll be reaching for napkins. All in all, it wasn't bad, but there's room for improvement, especially with the lighting and the bread. Worth trying once, but not sure if it's a repeat for us.

I love giving great reviews which I do about 95% of the time but not today! I was a little disappointed overall with the flavors & the service... still an ok experience! The place was packed with only about 3 waiters literally running back and forth so more help is needed. The ambiance is nice with fake candles ALL over! The benches are very cushy that you sink in which is a little challenging when eating but delightful when drinking! I personally thought the enormous calzone was just ok. I loved the crispy crust but didn't care for the meat inside nor did it have much seasoning. It also was served on a plate that had a big chip and crack (about 2-3" so hard to think the staff didn't see it). Then again, they were so busy that it may have just gotten overlooked ‍. The lasagna was soupy and not a favorite either. I'm sorry to say we will most likely not return unless it's to maybe order a pizza for the kids.

We scored a reservation last month right before they stopped taking them. We waited a bit with many apologies from the staff. That gave us time to see the space which has a whimsical air about it. Once seated, it took awhile for our server to make his way to us as the place was packed. He was also apologetic and got our drinks quickly once we ordered. The cocktail list was limited and they were working toward a full bar, but the available choices were great. We ordered arancini which was probably the best I've ever had. The rice retained some bite instead of being mushy and the flavors were perfect. The caponata was perfect, it reminded me of Bread and Circus. The pizza was amazing, such simple quality ingredients! Again, I was reminded of Bread and Circus. The Fra Diablo had great flavor, but my husband was off out by the shrimp legs from the unpeeled shrimp that were dispersed throughout the pasta, getting them in almost every bite. He mentioned it to the friendly, passionate owner who handled it graciously, explaining it's the authentic way. Regardless, it really impacted the enjoyment of the dish. The service was okay. It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed but they were all kind and gracious. We will definitely return because the quality and authenticity of the cuisine is there. We are hoping they can grown into the rest!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in town. Reminds me exactly how eating in Italy felt. And I just love the feel of a family owned restaurant! The owner started his business off at home/from a food truck, if I know the story right. The food is amazing. It's very fresh with ingredients shipped directly from Italy. The menu changes every few weeks which is a testament to the effort the owners have put into their business. If you don't know what to get, I think that the lasagna is typically a staple on the menu and is a good go to! Of note, I saw another review complaining about how dark it is in the restaurant, but I thought that this adds a lot to the ambience and wouldn't change it at all. I mean, it's simply because it's Italian! It's loud and busy and fun!

We have been waiting for Sarrica to open, and finally got the chance to sit and have dinner. We were greeted and sat quickly, were treated to two garlicky toast points and water brought to the table. It was a little darker inside than normal which added to the cozy atmosphere. We shared a garden salad which had pepper and olive oil that was light and set the tone for our main course, we had a pizza that tasted very authentic, especially the dough, and the lemon chicken was very tasty, as the combination of the sauce with the capers brought it together,, the risotto was good and matched well. A little pricey and will need a specialty dish, but good meal.

Very charming place! Probably the best realistic Italian you will get in Lafayette or even Louisiana. Everyone is so friendly. We got the mozzarella marinara dip with the bread to start, so good and very hot! The house bread is so so so yummy. For entrées, we got the lasagna and the lamb pasta. Both tasted so fresh and flavorful!

The food was so wonderful. It reminded me of the few times I visited Italy. I couldn't imagine someone here recreating the same flavors but here it is I know they source almost everything from Italy and it is definitely revealed in the flavorful food they create here. Portion sizes are smaller so please if you don't have an open mind for flavor but want quantity skip this place and leave it for me. Those that find olive garden good stay away. This is so much better. The service is good but maybe could be a bit better. Out water glasses were empty and we had to ask for more. But I still forgive that. When I want lasagna I will now go here for authentic beautiful pasta.

My wife and I met here for our lunch break and I was blown away by the food quality. Everything was fresh and authentic . The decor was unimpressive but the food and service were top notch!

Was busy Friday for lunch. Speedy service and a very cute 4 or so year old assisting her Dad. The lasagna was deconstructed but delicious. Will definitely return.

Went to try Sarrica's for my birthday dinner. I have heard so much good things about this place that my wife and had to give it a try. We were delighted with everything. The service was fantastic the moment we walked in the door. The ambience of the restaurant was very relaxing and welcome and it was not loud. Everything we heard about the food was spot on. It is amazing. Presentation and flavors were outstanding.

Best Italian food in town by far. As authentic as it gets without actually being in Italy. The ingredients, the freshness, the quality...it makes the food shine!!!

I visited Sarrica's twice. The excellence and devotion to the right ingredients, prepared correctly is unsurpassed by anywhere I've visited between Jacksonville and Houston. I was only in town for a few days or I'd have tried more pizzas but the two I had were wonderful. The crust is addictive - Sarti does an amazing job and attends to each pizza as though it is a work of culinary art - which it is! Run, don't walk. Check out Sarrica's.

The people are great. The atmosphere is nice. The food is out of this world. It doesn't matter which pizza you order, you'll be happy. We often have to order an extra to take home. Looking forward to trying many more dishes.

I absolutely recommend this place. I have come across something truly amazing here in little old Lafayette. I have had their delicious pizzas and they were excellent, I've also had pasta and it was so fresh and delicious. The thing that I find hard to put into word was their lasagna, I can't describe how amazing this lasagna was. I am a lifetime customer now.

I frequently travel to Chicago, Connecticut, and New York (all known for their pizza) for work, and I've been to several countries in Europe. So I know good pizza. This is--by far--the best pizza in Louisiana, and that's only one of the amazing things about this family-owned business. Take a look at the attached picture. These are their amazingly delicious cannolis. I nearly cried taking a bite into these because it took me back to Mozzicatto's in Connecticut and Mike's Pastries in Massachusetts--two authentic Italian bakeries. And that's not all! They even have authentic Sicilian pasta! Just wow it was so good. On top of all that, they are just genuinely kind people putting their heart into a wonderful business. I loved it all & can't wait to keep going back.

Busy Saturday night, they don't take reservations, family restaurant, needs a little work on the bar area and drink menu, the food and service were fantastic we chatted we both tables around us and they change their menu biweekly. The pizza, pasta, and Lamb shank were great. Will defiantly go back and recommend to friends to try.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to experience the food. Despite only being two other tables in the restaurant, we were forgotten about by staff and eventually got up to walk out before anyone would acknowledge us. We only waited 20 or so minutes but it was enough to observe that it wasn't a good day to be there. (Sat August 9 at around 3:30) They were apologetic as we neared the door , but we were too far too embarrassed. and just wanted to leave. Front of house needs some fundamentals retrained. . One waiter explained that he was not to blame, because he had not clocked in yet, even though he was in the dining room the entire time that we were there. The host was likewise there in the dining room the entire time as well. No hard feelings. Good luck.

Food is always excellent. Servers are helpful with recommendations. I find myself panicking if I haven't tried the new menu before it ends. Haha! Four stars due to limited hours and no option to call-in orders for pickup.

First time eating there. Food was very authentic Italian style dishes. Hand made noodles. Great atmosphere. Service was excellent! We will definitely be back. I say 5 stars all the way!

If you are looking for a date night with your loved one this is the place. My wife and I wanted to give this place a try because it was somewhere different. Let me you, you will not be disappointed with it. The food was amazing. The best part is majority of the food and ingredients are flown in from Italy. The service was awesome. The server continued to check on us. The server also spent time getting to know us. The server also gave us the background of the owner and the food that is severed. I would say if you haven't tried this place you really need to because it may be one of the best places you ate at.

My husband and I were seated at the last available table quickly. We found the atmosphere dark, which made menu difficult to read, noisy and crowded as the tables were very close together. We got three bites of bread while the other tables got a much larger portion, like a small loaf. The food was authentic and tasted good, however, the portion size of entree's were small for the amount we paid. We were surprised that no vegetable was included with our entree's so we ended up ordering a side salad and split it. The waitstaff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed. One server almost bumped into my husband as we were leaving our table. Best of luck to the owners but we will not be returning.

OK OK OK, please give this place some attention!! So we had Sarrica's when they were pickup only and it was anhhhh okayyyy..... Let me first say, I lived about 20 min from where the food truck was and by the time I got home, you know the rest of the story...Soggy and greasy! My wife and I went out for a date nite and decided to try their physical location. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by "The real boss", about a 2-3 year old pistol!! Mom close by, we were seated by the nicest, most cutest host ever!!! Alex was our waiter and his recommendations were ON POINT!!! If you go here, pizza is a must and the gnocchi is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! We will definitely be back and this is arguably the best, most authentic Italian restaurant in Lafayette!!!

The most amazing service, atmosphere and food! We had three appetizers that had red sauce and each sauce was different! It was delicious. The two year old loved the pizza type app, I had lasagna and it was so good, daughter had pizza with brashuto, hubby had the fish and sil had the florets. Everyone was happy and we left well satisfied.

First time to try the restaurant I found the food mediocre and expensive. The service was good and the restaurant was clean.

Sarrica's has fabulous food and great service! Alex, our server, was attentive and informative. We started with a caprese salad and then tried a pizza with artichokes, porchetta, pesto, and various cheeses. It was prepared to perfection and presented beautifully with a thin crispy crust and well-placed toppings. Cannoli and tiramisu for dessert capped our meal, and both were first rate. Fresh ingredients and authentic Sicilian recipes really make a difference. Lafayette is fortunate to have such a fine Italian restaurant.

My husband and I went for lunch. I ordered the penne pasta dish; excellent. My husband ordered the lasagna, which I sampled, and it is outstanding. I will definitely order that when we go back. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. Judging by their logo, it is a husband and wife team. Their adorable little girl was there but not at all disruptive. We tried it on our son's recommendation and he was right; great food, great atmosphere and great wait staff.

My wife has been checking out Sarrica's on Facebook for the past couple of weeks and we were finally able to try it tonight. First off, the owners were very friendly and gracious. I really wanted to give 4 or 5 stars for this place but for the price of the pizza, we had really high expectations. We ordered the Esmeralda which was really good. It was cooked well, the dough was nice and chewy, the ingredients fresh and the balsamic on top was really good. We also ordered the Italiana. It was not all that good. The crust was black on the bottom and overly salty. The pizza itself was very salty. For our 2 pizzas, it was a little over $50. At that price, I expect more than what we got. If both pizzas were prepared like the Esmeralda, it would be a different story. That being said, this is the closest to traditional Italian pizza you will find in Lafayette. It reminds me of Bread and Curcus and I think it will fill that void well. We plan on trying again and I hope to update my review/add stars at that time.

So, we didn't make a rsvp and at 7:09pm on a Friday night, we were not allowed to wait for a table... Honestly unheard of, LOL.. Because, we told the hostesses we don't mind waiting and he refused to let us wait. This is like lil Lafayette and we would have been the only ones waiting. No worries here..........lol

Absolutely delicious. Great service, they're very popular so they do get busy so you may have to wait , but that's what happens when you bring a good product and make it affordable and accessible to everyone. The owner is a great guy as well. I go back every 2 weeks as they change the menu.

The food was delicious, but the service was incredibly slow!! We ordered a pizza and it took over an hour before it arrived at our table. I also ordered a drink and after 20 minutes I had to remind the waiter.

Restaurants should provide good food, good service, and good atmosphere. This restaurant failed on all points. Food preparation was poor. very limited choices and menus did not explain dishes well. Not enough menus for all guests but that didn't matter bc it was too dark to see. lunch from arrival to paying took 3 hours. Waiter was so overwhelmed that he missed multiple request, much less having time to check on customers.

The food at Sarrica's is absolutely delicious--authentic Italian dishes made with real ingredients. They mentioned the menu changes every two weeks, so I'll definitely be coming back soon! The decorations are beautiful; I'm especially in love with the large painting on the main wall. My kids even learned a bit of geography while we ate! Our waiter, Israel, and host, Gabby, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly. A wonderful dining experience all around!

Absolutely amazing food! We started out with the Arancini Palermitana which was delicious. So fresh. Then I had the cappellacci di zucca which has got to be one of the best dishes I have ever had. My husband had the Saltimbocca alla Romana and he said it was amazing. We finished off our meal with a chocolate chip cannoli and tiramisu. We will be back. The service was excellent! The restaurant was packed when we got there at 5:45 but had no wait. We chose this as our 15 year anniversary dinner because we love Italy and it was amazing to eat such fresh, Italian ingredients to remind us of our honeymoon. Our new favorite place. We had the pepperoni pizza, the Capricciosa pizza and the cannoli. Everything taste fresh and authentically Italian. The owner came out and introduced himself which confirmed everything was authentically Italian. Because the menu changes every two weeks we will have to go back pretty often to try everything. Last night we went to dinner with friends at Sarrica's Italian Pizza ! Our entire experience was nothing less than AMAZING ! Their food was phenomenal and truly Authentic ! I am of Sicilian descent and his food brought back childhood memories of our family dinners on Sunday after mass ! I have traveled to Italy on several occasions and extremely excited to finally have a truly and the only authentic Sicilian cuisine here in Lafayette. The owner spoke with us and shared he and his wife's journey ! He also had his precious bambino on his hip which exemplifies our Italian culture ....La Familia ! Absolutely everything we ate from the Sicilian Arancini , pizza, Sicilian Lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, the wine and of course, we couldn't resist the cannoli and tiramisu was pure PERFECTION !!!! Our waitress was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. We love the ambience of his restaurant and his handmade table tops! God bless this precious family with much success and thank you for bringing Authentic Sicily to our community! Sarrica's is a MUST to experience authentic Sicilian cuisine !!!

Too over priced for the taste. We are disappointed with the place. They should price down; there is nothing so special about their pizza.
