The whole experience was fantastic! The place was packed, but we were seated right away. The hostess was friendly and welcoming. Karii was our server, and she did fabulous! She was very knowledgeable, well-spoken, and personable, helping us through the menu and keeping things light! Then the food was delicious! We will definitely be back for more!

Nick was our server tonight and was very prompt and attentive! The food was AMAZING. Every bite was filled with flavor. You leave here full but not feeling like it. The atmosphere is wonderful. This is our second time here in 3 weeks and we are already planning our next visit!

Look just stop reading reviews and go now! I can’t say enough good things about Sarrica’s! The pizza is unmatched in Lafayette! I went with a group of 4 friends and we got 4 different pizzas so we could try different ones! The were incredible!! We also had 2 appetizers and cannoli & tiramisu for dessert! Their menu is always changing but I love that! Can’t wait to go back and try something new! We did find it was a kinda dark and a bit loud inside with the music, just unexpected atmosphere but honestly who cares! The food is 1000/10!

The food was incredible (true Italian food made by the sweetest family) and our service matched! Orin was great and attentive. Loved it all but the pizza was the star of the show. I spent 6 weeks in Italy and absolutely love everything about their culture and food. This restaurant embodies everything that is true and good about Italy! All of their ingredients are natural and whole (and for my family full of allergies this is a HUGE plus and great for our health)! Italian culture typically has a more relaxed restaurant environment so, if you think your service is slower than a typical American restaurant, embrace the calm and enjoy your time there as Italians take 2-3 hours for a lunch or dinner meal. Alex was our server for multiple visits and he is so kind and attentive! There was a mix up with one of our entrees and he had it fixed quickly! You will never have Italian food as authentic as what this restaurant provides! If you never make it to Italy, this is the closest second you will find! My family could not recommend this restaurant enough!

Amazing! Highly recommend! We had wine, burrata, and pizzas and all were fantastic! So fresh. Clearly made with love! You can see it on the plate and when you walk past the kitchen! You won’t be sad with anything on the menu! Also we had Loric as our waiter and bar tender and he is great! You can tell he loves working there and is so easy to talk to, as all good bar tenders are!

Great italian food, produce and meats shipped fresh from Italy weekly or made in house. The place was kinda dark but the food was top tier. The lasagna and pizza were absolutely delicious. The tomatoes were so good here as well. I feel it was a tad salty but it seems like that is the common trend in Lafayette. Staff was great and very knowledgeable. Cannoli was okay though.

Everything we ordered was AMAZING! The house bread is fire & the chicken marsala was the best dish I've ever had in my life. My husband ordered the lamb & he loved every bite. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant. We brought out 4 & 7 year old with us & they loved it too. It's our new favorite local restaurant.

Sarricas Italian is by far the best Italian restaurant in Lafayette. They import everything directly from Italy, and the ingredients are so authentic--it's perfection. The pizza dough is incredible; their thin crust pizza is unlike anything else in town. I usually don't eat the crust, but here I ate every bite. You must order the Puffetta appetizer--it's melted mozzarella in their marinara sauce with puff dough, served fresh out of the oven, perfect for dipping. The pasta is another highlight--they hand make their own, and it's so good. The portion is just right, flavorful without feeling heavy. Serra's has quickly become our new favorite in town. Highly recommend.

My wife and I visited Sarrica's Little Italy last night. The atmosphere was very dark, we actually had to use a phone flashlight just to read the menu. Not ideal when you're trying to settle in for a relaxing dinner. They started us off with house bread, which was just okay. Nothing memorable. For an appetizer, we had a dish I can't remember the name of, but it was basically bread with a cheesy marinara sauce, this was the highlight of the meal. Flavorful and satisfying. We split the classic pepperoni pizza for our main dish. The pizza itself was good, but like most pepperoni pizzas, it was pretty greasy. Good flavor, solid crust, but you'll be reaching for napkins. All in all, it wasn't bad, but there's room for improvement, especially with the lighting and the bread. Worth trying once, but not sure if it's a repeat for us.

We scored a reservation last month right before they stopped taking them. We waited a bit with many apologies from the staff. That gave us time to see the space which has a whimsical air about it. Once seated, it took awhile for our server to make his way to us as the place was packed. He was also apologetic and got our drinks quickly once we ordered. The cocktail list was limited and they were working toward a full bar, but the available choices were great. We ordered arancini which was probably the best I've ever had. The rice retained some bite instead of being mushy and the flavors were perfect. The caponata was perfect, it reminded me of Bread and Circus. The pizza was amazing, such simple quality ingredients! Again, I was reminded of Bread and Circus. The Fra Diablo had great flavor, but my husband was off out by the shrimp legs from the unpeeled shrimp that were dispersed throughout the pasta, getting them in almost every bite. He mentioned it to the friendly, passionate owner who handled it graciously, explaining it's the authentic way. Regardless, it really impacted the enjoyment of the dish. The service was okay. It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed but they were all kind and gracious. We will definitely return because the quality and authenticity of the cuisine is there. We are hoping they can grown into the rest!

Service was wonderful the food was authentic and delicious. The atmosphere was what I expected in a popular restaurant a little on the loud side but to be expected with everyone enjoying their food. Only small complaint, change out the chairs not very comfortable.

We have been waiting for Sarrica to open, and finally got the chance to sit and have dinner. We were greeted and sat quickly, were treated to two garlicky toast points and water brought to the table. It was a little darker inside than normal which added to the cozy atmosphere. We shared a garden salad which had pepper and olive oil that was light and set the tone for our main course, we had a pizza that tasted very authentic, especially the dough, and the lemon chicken was very tasty, as the combination of the sauce with the capers brought it together,, the risotto was good and matched well. A little pricey and will need a specialty dish, but good meal.

The food was so wonderful. It reminded me of the few times I visited Italy. I couldn't imagine someone here recreating the same flavors but here it is I know they source almost everything from Italy and it is definitely revealed in the flavorful food they create here. Portion sizes are smaller so please if you don't have an open mind for flavor but want quantity skip this place and leave it for me. Those that find olive garden good stay away. This is so much better. The service is good but maybe could be a bit better. Out water glasses were empty and we had to ask for more. But I still forgive that. When I want lasagna I will now go here for authentic beautiful pasta.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to experience the food. Despite only being two other tables in the restaurant, we were forgotten about by staff and eventually got up to walk out before anyone would acknowledge us. We only waited 20 or so minutes but it was enough to observe that it wasn't a good day to be there. (Sat August 9 at around 3:30) They were apologetic as we neared the door , but we were too far too embarrassed. and just wanted to leave. Front of house needs some fundamentals retrained. . One waiter explained that he was not to blame, because he had not clocked in yet, even though he was in the dining room the entire time that we were there. The host was likewise there in the dining room the entire time as well. No hard feelings. Good luck.

The people are great. The atmosphere is nice. The food is out of this world. It doesn't matter which pizza you order, you'll be happy. We often have to order an extra to take home. Looking forward to trying many more dishes.

I absolutely recommend this place. I have come across something truly amazing here in little old Lafayette. I have had their delicious pizzas and they were excellent, I've also had pasta and it was so fresh and delicious. The thing that I find hard to put into word was their lasagna, I can't describe how amazing this lasagna was. I am a lifetime customer now.

First time eating there. Food was very authentic Italian style dishes. Hand made noodles. Great atmosphere. Service was excellent! We will definitely be back. I say 5 stars all the way!

I visited Sarrica's twice. The excellence and devotion to the right ingredients, prepared correctly is unsurpassed by anywhere I've visited between Jacksonville and Houston. I was only in town for a few days or I'd have tried more pizzas but the two I had were wonderful. The crust is addictive - Sarti does an amazing job and attends to each pizza as though it is a work of culinary art - which it is! Run, don't walk. Check out Sarrica's.

My wife has been checking out Sarrica's on Facebook for the past couple of weeks and we were finally able to try it tonight. First off, the owners were very friendly and gracious. I really wanted to give 4 or 5 stars for this place but for the price of the pizza, we had really high expectations. We ordered the Esmeralda which was really good. It was cooked well, the dough was nice and chewy, the ingredients fresh and the balsamic on top was really good. We also ordered the Italiana. It was not all that good. The crust was black on the bottom and overly salty. The pizza itself was very salty. For our 2 pizzas, it was a little over $50. At that price, I expect more than what we got. If both pizzas were prepared like the Esmeralda, it would be a different story. That being said, this is the closest to traditional Italian pizza you will find in Lafayette. It reminds me of Bread and Curcus and I think it will fill that void well. We plan on trying again and I hope to update my review/add stars at that time.

My husband and I were seated at the last available table quickly. We found the atmosphere dark, which made menu difficult to read, noisy and crowded as the tables were very close together. We got three bites of bread while the other tables got a much larger portion, like a small loaf. The food was authentic and tasted good, however, the portion size of entree's were small for the amount we paid. We were surprised that no vegetable was included with our entree's so we ended up ordering a side salad and split it. The waitstaff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed. One server almost bumped into my husband as we were leaving our table. Best of luck to the owners but we will not be returning.

The most amazing service, atmosphere and food! We had three appetizers that had red sauce and each sauce was different! It was delicious. The two year old loved the pizza type app, I had lasagna and it was so good, daughter had pizza with brashuto, hubby had the fish and sil had the florets. Everyone was happy and we left well satisfied.

Sarrica's has fabulous food and great service! Alex, our server, was attentive and informative. We started with a caprese salad and then tried a pizza with artichokes, porchetta, pesto, and various cheeses. It was prepared to perfection and presented beautifully with a thin crispy crust and well-placed toppings. Cannoli and tiramisu for dessert capped our meal, and both were first rate. Fresh ingredients and authentic Sicilian recipes really make a difference. Lafayette is fortunate to have such a fine Italian restaurant.

OK OK OK, please give this place some attention!! So we had Sarrica's when they were pickup only and it was anhhhh okayyyy..... Let me first say, I lived about 20 min from where the food truck was and by the time I got home, you know the rest of the story...Soggy and greasy! My wife and I went out for a date nite and decided to try their physical location. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by "The real boss", about a 2-3 year old pistol!! Mom close by, we were seated by the nicest, most cutest host ever!!! Alex was our waiter and his recommendations were ON POINT!!! If you go here, pizza is a must and the gnocchi is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! We will definitely be back and this is arguably the best, most authentic Italian restaurant in Lafayette!!!

So, we didn't make a rsvp and at 7:09pm on a Friday night, we were not allowed to wait for a table... Honestly unheard of, LOL.. Because, we told the hostesses we don't mind waiting and he refused to let us wait. This is like lil Lafayette and we would have been the only ones waiting. No worries here..........lol

Restaurants should provide good food, good service, and good atmosphere. This restaurant failed on all points. Food preparation was poor. very limited choices and menus did not explain dishes well. Not enough menus for all guests but that didn't matter bc it was too dark to see. lunch from arrival to paying took 3 hours. Waiter was so overwhelmed that he missed multiple request, much less having time to check on customers.

The food and hospitality are beyond superb 5/5 stars! Authentic Italian food and ingredients straight from Sicily best Italian restaurant in Lafayette! The Sarricas are one of a kind!

Pizza is truly Sicilian style. Great crust and prosciutto pie.salads fresh, and cannolis excellent. Fair pricing.Ambience and staff attitude outstanding with a super waiter, Alex. Place was full ona Thursday night. Should bea big success. Very good family dining experience . Thx

The food at Sarrica's is absolutely delicious--authentic Italian dishes made with real ingredients. They mentioned the menu changes every two weeks, so I'll definitely be coming back soon! The decorations are beautiful; I'm especially in love with the large painting on the main wall. My kids even learned a bit of geography while we ate! Our waiter, Israel, and host, Gabby, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly. A wonderful dining experience all around!

Absolutely amazing food! We started out with the Arancini Palermitana which was delicious. So fresh. Then I had the cappellacci di zucca which has got to be one of the best dishes I have ever had. My husband had the Saltimbocca alla Romana and he said it was amazing. We finished off our meal with a chocolate chip cannoli and tiramisu. We will be back. The service was excellent! The restaurant was packed when we got there at 5:45 but had no wait. We chose this as our 15 year anniversary dinner because we love Italy and it was amazing to eat such fresh, Italian ingredients to remind us of our honeymoon. Thank you for an amazing night and cannot wait to return

Absolutely delicious. Great service, they're very popular so they do get busy so you may have to wait , but that's what happens when you bring a good product and make it affordable and accessible to everyone. The owner is a great guy as well. I go back every 2 weeks as they change the menu.

The food was delicious, but the service was incredibly slow!! We ordered a pizza and it took over an hour before it arrived at our table. I also ordered a drink and after 20 minutes I had to remind the waiter.

Our new favorite place. We had the pepperoni pizza, the Capricciosa pizza and the cannoli. Everything taste fresh and authentically Italian. The owner came out and introduced himself which confirmed everything was authentically Italian. Because the menu changes every two weeks we will have to go back pretty often to try everything. Best pizza in Lafayette!

Last night we went to dinner with friends at Sarrica's Italian Pizza ! Our entire experience was nothing less than AMAZING ! Their food was phenomenal and truly Authentic ! I am of Sicilian descent and his food brought back childhood memories of our family dinners on Sunday after mass ! I have traveled to Italy on several occasions and extremely excited to finally have a truly and the only authentic Sicilian cuisine here in Lafayette. The owner spoke with us and shared he and his wife's journey ! He also had his precious bambino on his hip which exemplifies our Italian culture ....La Familia ! Absolutely everything we ate from the Sicilian Arancini , pizza, Sicilian Lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, the wine and of course, we couldn't resist the cannoli and tiramisu was pure PERFECTION !!!! Our waitress was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. We love the ambience of his restaurant and his handmade table tops! God bless this precious family with much success and thank you for bringing Authentic Sicily to our community! Sarrica's is a MUST to experience authentic Sicilian cuisine !!!

I've been living here for 3 years now and by far the best pizza I've had in Lafayette! Service was great and owners were so friendly! 10/10!!
