I was craving sushi and it place was recommended to me. I wandered here on a Wednesday night. I had reservation at the sushi bar. If you want to sit at the sushi bar, I would definitely suggest making reservation. The sushi bar was relatively full when I got there even for a Wednesday night. If you forget to make reservation, no problem as there were plenty of empty tables.
I definitely knew I wanted omakase and there are several variety of options of omakase. I forgot which one I had, but I decided to go for the one that did not have mussels and I am not a big fan. The sushi chef was very nice explaining each dish. The fish itself was super fresh and tasty. My favorite was the uni and eel. (That surprised me as I am not normally an eel fan, but it was pretty good). After the omakase, I was still hungry, so I ordered a few items a la carte that I enjoyed, like the uni.
Overall, I thought it was pretty good omakase. However, I thought that the price was a little too expensive. I understand that I was in Beverly Hills, but for the price I paid, I thought it was a little steep. But, still good and would come back here. There is a small lot for this location. But, it got packed really quickly, so I parked on the street on Olympic.
