The Best Restaurants in Portland’s West Hills | Eater Portland

"Sasquatch Brewing’s location in Hillsdale sells the company’s lauded beers and ciders on a rotating tap list, or in cans to go, from a 1920s-era commercial building. The substantial food menu includes mac and cheese made with a hazy IPA sauce and a BLT on house-made focaccia." - Rebecca Roland

I've found that most breweries are focused (understandably) on their drink options while the food is treated as an afterthought. Sasquatch Brewing Co delightfully deviates from this pattern by providing tasty brews and quality food. We ordered the honey hot sandwich, the clucker, and an order of buffalo wings. The wings had a delightful smoky flavor and came as full sized chicken wings, the honey hot sandwich wasn't too sweet with just the right amount of spice, and the clucker was exactly what you want in a fried chicken sandwich. The pumpkin brew I ordered was light and tasty with notes of fall spices. Covered outdoor patios offer the joy of experiencing the fall outdoors without being soaked in the rain. There are no real complaints here. The only reason service gets 4/5 stars is that you order and pay by QR code, so there really isn't much service to critique. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and will probably go again.

I recently picked up lunch for the office from Sasquatch Brewing, and I was super impressed! The staff went above and beyond by double-checking our order before sealing up the boxes, ensuring that quality control was top of mind. The food was fantastic, and the hot spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing—definitely a standout! It really hit the spot for my team. I’m sure we’ll be back for lunch again soon. Highly recommend!

The Mouth Pillow IPA is very soft and very tasty. Also, the tofugazi sandwich is very tasty. Fantastic neighborhood brewery

Food was very good and the setting of the restaurant was comfortable. Music was nice and there was a nice window view out front. Our server Will was excellent and made sure our drinks remained full. The wait time was a little longer than hoped which was why it received 4 stars. We will definitely be coming back again and eating here in the future. Pleasant experience here with the family!

Google
Sasquatch is fantastic! A little nano brewery that is super cute nestled close to Multnomah village. My 8 year old loves the kids cheeseburger here. I got the Korean Mac and wow, soooo good. I think it might be a seasonal item so definitely get it when/if you can! Good inhouse brews and they also have a few guest taps! Also great service and friendly staff!

Really enjoyed this local watering hole. The food was really good. I had the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. It was crispy with a nice sweet & spicy sauce. I added fries, they were shoestring, would have liked some other type. The Capital Hwy location is long, lengthwise, with a couple of rooms with tables. Family friendly, they may even have toys for the kids? They seem to continue with the 'Covid' style service: scan the QR code for the menu and the order from it. You had to submit ur phone # to get the menu, kind of a hassle, wasn't really keen on sharing it and possible getting spammed later. I suppose after the first time it gets better Call me old school, I miss having a menu and talking with a server. (So do you tip if it's like a fast food place minus someone personally taking ur order and they only bring out the food and not even check on you?) All in all would go back for the food for sure.

Google
The food was okay, poutine was good! The wings maaaay have been undercooked; I will find out tomorrow 😐. The table service was confusing. We queued in the front only to be told to hurry and grab a table and order on the app because it's filling up. And it was filling up, with children. They only had 2 beers from their own company.

Google
Now featuring pub grub and a touchless ordering system using Toast, you can bypass being seated and choose your table, open a tab, order drinks, and peruse the menu, and order food when you are ready. Now that the Bertha Bridge is open it's an easy walk from anywhere in the neighborhood. Was open even during the snow storm when you just need to get out of the house. If you are old school, you can still swing by the bar at the entrance and say hello to the host, order a drink and food, and head to a table. There is a tent across the street where you can choose a table, use the QR code for your table, and order just like you would do on the deck or front -- all outside. The Big Salad may be the only one on the menu, but it is delicious, as is the vegan Impossible burger with lettuce, tomato, and avacado. It comes with delicious regular fries, but for $2 more the sweet potato fries are wonderful! Sasquatch is a brewery, and you can order a sampler test or enjoy your favorite Sasquatch brew. The Mouth Pillow Hazy IPA is a current favorite. Service is faster than most places because of the touchless ordering.

Yelp
The ambiance and service were great. They accommodated us for our large group on a Friday afternoon outdoors under a tent down the road on picnic benches We got the: - Brussels sprouts - jumbo soft pretzel - chicken wings - grilled cheese with a side of Mac and cheese - tofugazi sandwich - flight of ciders / beer We all ended up buying merch. They have really cute hats and comfy sweatshirts!

Yelp
Really enjoyed Sasquatch Brewery on a recent Friday afternoon. Super friendly service and staff, yummy food, and nice selection of beers, ciders, wine, cocktails and NA. I ordered the gimlet which was crisp and refreshing. The menu on Yelp is quite different from the one in the restaurant. Family friendly environment - very accommodating with our little one.

Yelp
Cool little place, with lots of beer on tap and a pub type menu of food. First off for calling itself a brewery they only had two beers on tap that they actually brewed. When I go to a brewery I want to try the beer that they brew; so this was more of a tap house. You either place your order at the counter or from your phone at the table and then they bring it to you (the hospitality industry is getting further and further away from actual service) There were five to six kids under the age of four running around and it kind of gave it a a Chuck E Cheese type atmosphere. We ordered a flight of beer and a side of fries. The two actual beers that were brewed by them were good (they were both ipas). The fries came out fast and Luke warm at best which tells me they were already cooked and sitting under a heat lamp. Service, not really. Food not so much. Beer was good.

Yelp
Solid brewery in Hillsdale. Beer is good! More ciders than the average brewery which is nice. They also have wine and cocktails available. I love their wings. Hands down. Some of the best I have had. Go on wing wedsnesday. Also have delicious apps, salads, sandwiches and kids menu. Staff is very friendly. QR codes for ordering!

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations. I did not know what to expect but the food was really good. The honey hot chicken sandwich was nice and crispy and packed with flavor. The fries were also tasty and delicious. I also got the pina colada IPA (not pictured). That was okay, it had no pina colada taste too it and just tasted like a straight IPA beer. We also tried the smoothie beer as a sample...that was horrible. It was very tart and tangy. Usually like sour things but it was unbearable how tart it tasted. I'm very grateful they allow you to sample beers before you purchase a whole one. I recommend you do that before going. Didn't think the drinks were good but the food was yummy.

Yelp
Ok, we got in. Got a table. Oh there is a QR code for the menu. Ahhh, you have to order on your phone. Taster, taster, where is.... Ask for some help and the person said, " oh it's their and pick what you want. " My Then I look over an a sign says, "please clear your table." I guess they'll want you to do the dishes and floor next. I didn't hang around to see if that is correct. We went next door to the Mexican restaurant and received wonderful service. And wonderfully delicious food and drinks. What is wrong with Portland establishments? The lack of service is appalling.

Yelp
We came into Sasquatch Brewery because of its incredible convenience (we live right by it) and had ourselves a really nice night. The rating doesn't reflect the quality of the food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere- this is a GREAT spot. Here are the highlights: 1. They have really unique cider flavors (the Strawberry mojito) stands out. 2. The Mac and Cheese is top tier - perfectly Al dente and guaranteed to hit the spot. 3. The brussel sprouts are great - well cooked and finished with a balsamic reduction and plenty of BACON. A classic done well 4. Homemade dipping sauces were nice (the ranch and honey mustard stood out in particular). All in all, this is a great neighborhood spot that I would recommend to anyone looking to hangout for a bit and enjoy some good drinks. Look forward to coming back and trying more cider & food!

Yelp
It was an ok experience. For the price I'd rather go somewhere else with better service. It's weird...I was here a few years ago and that experience was much better. Maybe this place has changed owners or management since then. Don't get me wrong. The beer and food are good. What wasn't great was the QR code ordering. If you want to ask your server for their opinion on any of the food or beer, you're out of luck, not that kind of experience. I'd like to mention that one of my favorite tap houses in my home town does the QR code service style but the servers are way more involved in the process and still make it feel like an enjoyable service experience. Also, many things on the menu were out of stock. Our food and beer was dropped off to us....that's fine and all but it just wasn't like having a nice and friendly server. If you want minimal human interaction, this is the place for you.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the beers and space. Very friendly staff and no frills sort of set up for flights. They did a little bit of everything that desperate and did it all pretty well! The fruited Cherry kolsch was a favorite. Also really appreciated the Wilco posters in the hallway leading to the bathroom. Feel so offered a lot of proceeding and the inside was pretty spacious as well. The winery next door was having some sort of event. Pretty hopping area despite it being very industrial and unfortunately lots of houselessness camps..

Yelp
This used to be one of my go-to's and then....the pandemic happened. The back area is still cozy and inviting (as is the covered patio) but the front bar area has been remodelled to discourage congregating ...i guess (understandable). And with that, all orders are now via QR code from your table. I don't blame these guys for the pivot - it's hard to find help these days - but I'm done with QR codes. I don't need Toast or any other third party to have my phone #, and part of the reason I go to restaurants is to interact with people. QR's are like ordering delivery. I still love Sasquatch's beer - it's easy to find at John's Market - but guess I won't be stopping by in person anytime soon. Shame.

Yelp
My husband and I came on a lazy Sunday afternoon around 2pm. There was just us and one other table in the whole place and we sat at their patio. It was nice and peaceful and the staff members were friendly. The food is very average. I ordered the chicken sandwich but the chicken to bread ratio was super off. Such a SMALL and thin piece of chicken - bummer. Overall, Sasquatch Brewery is a chill spot that we won't necessary actively seek out again but would return if we happened to be in the area.

Yelp
We used to go here quite often - Good atmosphere, Good Beer, and friendly service and Both vegan and meat options on the menu. Sadly - the menu has shrunk to a typical brew pub (burgers+fries) menu. They no longer offer many of the vegan options - but removed the 'bowls' from the menu. It was a great place to go with vegan friends - we could all have something good to eat . Sad, now it will become small and probably close.

Yelp
Meet up here with some friends and aside from the food and beer being good, we loved how they split the checks. Everything was via your phone. You ordered via your phone and were able to place the order as a table, but order yourself on separate checks. This may it easy to pay on separate checks too since it was all electronic. Now for the food, the burger was good but what made it stand apart was how good the bacon and house sauce was! I knew I liked Sasquatch beers but it's good to know their food is just as good!
google avatar

Craig H.

Yelp
Meat on burger was undercooked. Bottom bun was soggy. Fried chicken sandwich had no flavor. 2 stars is for good beer and cider.

Yelp
My husband has a sincere preoccupation with anything Bigfoot/Sasquatch related so this was a must-try place for us as we came through Portland. It's in a cute, quieter neighborhood area with plenty of street parking and a small lot across the street as well. This location seems very family-friendly, in fact, there were a lot of families there when we visited. They even have a good size bin of toys as you walk in available for little ones to play wit (lots of dinosaurs! :). As far as the food & drink fare goes, it was solid. Our meals came out surprisingly fast, which was great because we were starving! I ordered the Fish & Chips ($16) and hubby got The Gobbler ($13, basically, Thanksgiving dinner in sandwich form), which he raved about, though I find mashed potatoes on a sandwich a little funny... Fries were tasty, appear to be hand-cut, though they could have been a bit crispier for me. My battered fish was super flavorful and I could tell the Cod was super fresh. The coleslaw was lackluster and I left most of it behind. We also had one beer and one cider between us--again, solid but also not mind-blowing. The price-point vs. quality seems on par for most OR breweries we've visited.

Yelp
Last week we came into Sasquatch with a large party, three families and 12 people total so we had multiple tables. To order each family grabbed a QR code and placed orders. When the server came out with drinks she was immediately upset that we didn't use a single QR code and split the bill from our phone. We weren't intentionally being difficult and just thought we were doing it the easiest way. Had she explained politely that they'd prefer it we would have used one we would have happily revised our orders. Instead she layed into us and literally stormed away. None of us even got a word out to try and resolve the issue. It was the rudest experience with a server I have ever had. When delivering our food she was quiet and cold. The beer and food were both very good, everyone liked their choices. It was just so unfortunate that we felt uncomfortable there the entire time after our encounter.
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
Good bar-type food, informal atmosphere. Nice, casual setting for all ages. Beware of the QR code app, Toast--if you are ordering as a group, just have everyone order through the same phone. Otherwise, if you try to back out, it won't let you and your phone will freeze.

Su-jen Y.

Yelp
I liked that they have a flight of drinks with SIX drinks since I really like trying different flavors. I liked most of their ciders they actually are white distinct. My friends and I both liked true love and faith most. True love had quite a berry taste and faith has a hint of root beer haha. Nova lager is super light, almost taste like water but with a beer texture. Squeeze raspberry lemonade cider is a little sour but can taste the raspberry.

Yelp
If it was a review solely for the beer and cider selection this would easily be a 5 Star place. But as others have said the service is lacking. Bartenders wanted to talk to each other more than us and we had to interrupt them to get our orders in. Also, this place is not very easily accessible and took us on a decently long drive. A very pretty and lush drive, but still. Walked in and there was practically nobody in there. We sat ourselves at the bar area and kinda regretted it because again, the workers were talking among themselves and being loud. We actually did end up moving to a table because the two young girls behind the bar were very annoying and didn't seem to know what they were doing at all. Beers & Ciders here were awesome! The apple pie cider was mind blowing! And we are not big cider fans at all. Vanilla Bourbon ale from here was the best beer I had in Portland. We took their largest growler filled with this home. For snacks I ordered beet fritters with feta cheese which were pretty dense, but tasted good. Not usually a fan of beets but with the feta they were decent. These came on top of an arugula salad which had a great dressing. Kimchi fried pickles tasted like regular fried pickles to me, nothing too special. They need to work on their staffing choices here for sure, but definitely worth the drive. *Note: We visited at the end of October 2017. Since I've had two mysterious people concerned about the validity of this review ;)

Yelp
The Mac n cheese is to die for. Literally. And my fave beer was Tanjo Banjo but I really loved all of them 10 out 10, 2 thumbs up

Kathleen L.

Yelp
This place has really changed... I have lived in this area for over eight years and change is constant but if you change the service, don't up the food prices. I know the pandemic changed a lot of things but when service goes down, businesses should account for that. Yes, we have inflation but let's also be realistic. There is no more table service, a bar to drink at, or the best comfort food dishes like the crazymac or harissa mayo to accompany the fries. I loved the old bar and how you could just order food at the bar and have it be comfortable, fries were included with all burgers with no extra charge, and if you had an issue with your food, a server would inquire with you on how your food was. I ate burned bacon in my mac n cheese, it was crunchy instead of creamy. My friend got a burger and it also had over cooked bacon. Pretty disappointing, as this was the spot back in the day.

Yelp
The ciders are really good! My favorite were the true love cider and the orange shake cider I wish they had them in California, I'm gona need to go back to Portland Oregon to buy more!!
google avatar

Yelp
Interesting brewery in a more suburban part of Portland. (though it's still very much Portland and very much not Beaverton) They've got cozy ambiance and tiny outside "patio" seating. They've got a decent amount of beer on tap. The beer is above-average but it won't blow your face off. Staff are young and friendly. They also do food but...one of my favorite places to eat in all of Portland is right next door so...it's hard for me to recommend that you eat here!
google avatar

Lindsay D.

Yelp
Consistently good food/beer and vibe. Neighborhood staple! Really love their broccoli!

Yelp
Really liked the cider and BLAT. I enjoyed the style of ordering yourself online and they just bring your order to you. Was super easy to use.

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday with a few other guys for beers and lunch. Not too crowded when we got there (2PM), but packed with a wait by the time we left at 4PM. I had a flight of all the beers they were not out of. Pretty impressive, all well-balanced, no off-flavors, nice color and clarity. My favorites were the IPA and the nitro stout. For lunch I had a small fried chicken, perfect portion for lunch with 3 pieces of meat, fries and gravy. Kinda like a poutine. The chicken was really flavorful and perfectly fried. Others had the tacos (excellent) and Mac-n-cheese (it's just Mac-n-cheese). The menu is not huge, but what they have is well-executed. Nice to have the afternoon game on the TV and watch AZ beat UCLA!! Nice ambiance, great service. The waitress came around just often enough to make sure we had what we needed, but not intrusive. Parking lot across the street needs some serious work - the potholes can swallow a small vehicle if you are not careful Bottom line: great local little place - not a lot of indoor seating, so go at off-hours if the weather doesn't allow sitting outside.
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
What's not to like about this great little gastropub. Wide selection of beers (didn't have any, but others at the table really like their cider). Had an incredibly delicious pretzel and fish and chips which were exactly what we were looking for. Great location, easy parking and super friendly service.
google avatar

Marge F.

Yelp
We stopped by for a beer on our way through town. What a fun brewery theme! I had the Shapeshifter Farmhouse Saison and was very impressed with all the thematic beer names. We did not eat food here but it looked delicious! And the portions were gigantic!
google avatar

Yelp
Quaint location with a simple yet exquisite menu; pairing fabulously to their craft beers, ciders and cocktail offerings. The staff are very knowledgeable and provide outstanding service. Highly recommended and will return.

Paulina R.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to grab lunch or dinner. They are super dog friendly with nice outdoor area. They always have a rotating mac and cheese and fresh foods.Their ciders and beers are delicious. Staff has always been great. They offer taco Tuesdays and their tacos are $2.50 and delicious.
google avatar

Carolyn U.

Yelp
Wow! This place used to be so much better. The buns on hamburgers are not as good. The hamburger patty is frozen, commercial. They used to be handformed. The fries are still good. The beer is still good. There used to be a seasonal menu, but didn't see that. We've been coming here for about 8 years but not sure if we will be back. Pretty sad.
google avatar

Nathan W.

Yelp
Loved this place. Don't go here expecting you know what a gastro pub is. They have other great selections than just burgers and pizza. They also have some fine cocktails here that was unexpected and quite good.
google avatar

Rick W.

Yelp
The tofugazi burger was absolutely amazing! Would definitely come here again just for it

Yelp
Sasquatch is what Multnomah Village needs. A low key place to drink, a family restaurant, a hangout spot for you and your tribe, and a fabulous eatery. Grab growlers for less than $20, experience local ciders and brews for a great price. You won't get a bunch of trendy IPAs shoved in your face here. Lots of belgians, ales, and a few great porters - this place isn't presumptuous, it's just damned good. I highly recommend the fried chicken and mashed potatoes. You'll get a gently laid almost gravy-like bed of mashed potatoes with a few fingerling potatoes, some pieces of cilantro, and a few pieces of buttermilk soaked fried chicken that will make you close your eyes in rapture. Seriously. I've been here over 10 times, and it's one of the only things I order. I'd say don't bother with anything else, but their salads are also killer. That chicken is just better than even my grandma's back home in Kentucky (Sorry, G-Maw). They've got heated outdoor seating for you and your pup, and you can watch the friendly folk of Multnomah Village strolling by while you enjoy your tasty noms. This place is a treasure. Make it a stop!

Dylan J.

Yelp
Love this place. Have taken all our visitors here and they've liked it too. They have QR codes for ordering and I thought it was very convenient and went smoothly.

Kathy Z.

Yelp
We live nearby and like to go out and support local eateries. Last time we came to Sasquatch the menu had been reduced, ordering was all online at the table, and most beverages came in a can! We ordered and the food was so so. Today we came in to give it another try. This time, hot sandwich & mac & cheese served cold, frisée salad was pathetic, service was nil. Not to mention the beverages were blah. Last time we'll walk into Sasquatch. Sad.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
As Homer Simpson would say "Mmmmmmmm beer." And a good beer it was. I don't travel down to the deeper southwest very often. So I knew of Sasquatch but didn't know of its location and with all the brew pubs around town, I didn't think I'd run into the place. I was in the area for a meeting and had 45 minutes to kill. Amazing, the bus service was on time and I didn't want to wander aimlessly. There's not a whole lot to see in this immediate area and while looking at my Google Maps, it showed that Sasquatch was right along the way, one stop before my destination. Oh yes I was stopping. They have a great beer selection and I was not short on options. I tested out a copper ale and an IRA and went with the former. It was one of their newer beers and the bartender mentioned his newest favorite. Being that it was beautiful out, I sat down outside and cracked open a book to read as I enjoyed my pint of hops and water. The copper ale was very clean tasting with no bitter aftertaste like most IPAs tend to have and I really enjoyed it. I tend to lean towards darker beers as it is and this beer was a good choice. It was after lunchtime and the place was quiet but I liked the layout of the bar and the server was attentive, even though I wasn't ordering any food. I guess I need excuses to find my way down here again. Enjoy.

Yelp
My Son and I stopped in at Sasquatch for an early Dinner last Saturday. It was an easy walk over from where we were at Hillsdale, and from the outside looked like an attractive place to try out. We were seated in the back "Sports Bar" section and enjoyed watching the high-scoring Oregon-USC game on the big screen. Go Ducks! It was also Happy Hour, of which I took full advantage with a Burger and a Beer (what else?). The Kid was hungrier and opted for a full order of Fish and Chips. It was all good. It was also great to great to spend some quality time with my Son in such a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Joel R.

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot. Good burgers and chicken, good atmosphere, and very decent tap list. Heated patio and quick service.

Yelp
Das quash is good stuff. I'm actually surprised it doesn't make the four-star club. Not really sure what the problem is there. We've always had pleasant service and good food. This spot is broken up into two areas, the bar right up front where you enter and the restaurant area past the kitchen. There's even some outside seating that's covered and heated in the winter. Like I mentioned above the food is good. They clearly mark their vegetarian and vegan options, yay! And they have a good variety of vegan options to boot. They recently hopped on the impossible burger train, but happily they've kept their beer burger on the menu. The cauliflower wrap is also good. For vegetarians, I recommend the Charlie Mac. My husband gets that a lot. I guess the beers might be what end up giving this place 3 stars. I do really like their vanilla bourbon beer; their IPAs are also good, but the rest that I've had aren't much to write home about. But that's also just my personal palette talking. To each their own in that department. Overall, I think this place is solid. We've come here a decent number of times. It's great to get a brewery vibe and meal without having to go into PDX.

Bre G.

Yelp
Oh man, so sad about what has happened to this place. It used to be really cool and hopefully it will return. However, I just had possibly the worst experience at a restaurant I can remember. Many restaurants have moved to using QR codes during the pandemic, but now at Sasquatch, you have to order your entire dinner on an app - never really seeing anybody at all until you get your food. When I walked in - nobody even greeted me - there is just a sign that tells you to seat yourself. Then, once they bring you your food, we got some frustration from the waitress about even getting sauces to go with it. I was there with a group of friends, and we joked that they would probably just bring us the groceries and we would have to cook the food ourselves and then wash all our dishes. Apparently, customer service here is no longer... :(

Yelp
The staff is super nice but overwhelmed. Get the fried chicken sandwich and fried cheese curds! Oh em gee people!! Even if you hate chicken this sandwich is to die for! Sweet potato fries are on point and the beer is sooo good! I love craft beer. I consider myself a beer snob and these Hazy IPA's are soooo good! I love the atmosphere and that their beer flights are served on a giant foot... hello Sasquatch! What a fun place. The only downside is that it's so small. On sunny days it would be fine because of the outside area but otherwise it's a tad crowded. I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Food is pretty solid and beer is even better. Nice environment inside and patio is great as well. Perfect place to chill out and take in a good meal or have a drink with friends and family. Cheers!

Yelp
Disappointing. Went in for HH and were advised the menu online was not correct and the small cardboard pop-up on the table was all that was available. Update the website!! Server & bartenders were chatting more than interested in checking in with the customer. I love their cider and our previous food experiences there; however, the experience was not ideal
google avatar

Tomodachi B.

Yelp
Good beer, kind staff, terrible music (not all of us want to listen to Stacey's Mom UGH), and a sloppy side of veggies. In every chef's defense, It's hard to cook veggies sometimes, they can come out really soggy. I give the kind staff 5 stars! The food + ambiance 1 star.

Heather H.

Yelp
Food was good but hard to think about how good it is when you have to watch your party member eat their food for 20+ minutes before you gets yours, and you ordered first. It's unbelievable to think of how my party member could've possibly gotten their food so much earlier than me. I think I've waited 45 min without a shred of food yet. I work in food service and this makes no sense

Yelp
The onion rings were fu#@ing delish! All the beers I tired were good and the burger was solid but those onion rings were perfect!

Yelp
I did a tasting flight of 12 beers with my bff and had a lot of fun. Since I don't have a refined palette, it was really nice being able to taste so many beers back to back. I was able to compare and contrast them and really see which ones I liked. Her favorite was the Vanilla Bourbon Cream Ale and I favored the Woodboy IPA. The Skookum was interesting because it had notes of banana, which I don't care much for, but tasted really interesting in a beer! I also enjoyed the Hairy Knuckle Stout and I don't normally like stouts. I'd love to come back and try their ciders. All of the staff were chill and the atmosphere was friendly.

Yelp
This place might be a little hard to see from the road, and parking can take a few extra minutes, but the effort is rewarded! Great selection of beer, cider and wine, featuring 6 ciders on the latest drink menu. The food continues the trend, perfectly cooked fries, spectacular sandwiches and burgers - absolutely no complaints! Wait staff are friendly and highly attentive. Seating is by choice and both patio and outdoor options are available as well as inside bars stool, booth, picnic benches, and chairs. We love this place for a nice lunch or an easy dinner, and will definitely be back!

Yelp
If I could, I would give this place 20 stars. The beer is seriously awesome. Sister Skookum, Cherry Springer, Session Ale, and this new Mr Powell... Every one, and I mean every single one of their beers are on point and the bartenders are legit too. Extremely knowledgable guys that are prompt and serious about what they do. I haven't tried much food except for the fried chicken, it was so good I'm not trying anything else either. I don't care if I gain 20 pounds hanging out here and filling growlers. I will have a giant smile on my big fat face without a care in the world! Beer me!
