This was OK, I don't know that I'll go here again. It depends upon what the competition might be like. I wouldn't hate it, but it is VERY noisy. The restaurant is very crowded, not because of too many customers, but because they sqeeze the tables too close together. There was less than six inches between the tables.
You can tell from the first picture, that if there were people seated at the tables, and someone at the counter, it would be impossible for the serviing staff to get to the gate in the counter.
That might be one reason why the service was so slow. There were only four tables occupied when I walked in, but I had to wait a long time for the menu, and another long time to get my order taken. The kitchen is right there, in the room, which also contributes to the noise and confusion, in addition to the very bad, assaultive music they play on the loudspeaker.
The pad thai noodles and sauce were delicious, but the beef was so tough as to be almost inedible. In other restaurants, when they have to serve that kind of tough meat, they slice the meat very thin, almost transparent, so it's not so difficult to chew. The carrots were undercooked.
They don't serve straws with the ice water, but I was never able to catch the server's eye to ask for a straw. Ice hurts my teeth, so I had to eat my meal without water. It was very salty, so not being able to drink water after the meal was a problem.
The serving size was good - I appreciate that.
