The night before the Marine Corps Marathon, we celebrated our anniversary dinner with family and relatives at Satay Club, a cozy Malaysian restaurant tucked in the heart of Washington DC. I’m always on the lookout for authentic flavors — and this place truly impressed us with every bite. We started our feast with their signature Satay — both chicken and lamb. Perfectly grilled with smoky charred edges, the skewers were tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by the rich, nutty peanut sauce. It felt like a taste of Kuala Lumpur in DC! Next came the salted fish fried rice, aromatic and full of wok hei (that irresistible smoky aroma). The balance of savory salted fish, soft egg, and crisp vegetables made it comfort food at its best. The calamari dish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, served with colorful bell peppers and crunchy shallots — a delightful mix of texture and spice. We also loved the tofu and eggplant stir-fry, which came in a deliciously savory sauce — rich, hearty, and deeply satisfying. To end the evening, we indulged in ice chendol and fried banana, a sweet and refreshing finish that brought nostalgic memories of Southeast Asia. Satay Club is a gem — family-run, warm, and truly authentic. A perfect place for Malaysian food lovers and a wonderful way to celebrate before marathon day! 🇲🇾🍢🍚💛

Love the food of this place, they have a nice menú. All noodles in all the versions are good portions and very yummy. I will definitely come back.

Google
Would highly recommend coming here! The food is really great value and absolutely delicious. We’ve tried a few different dishes and haven’t been disappointed with any of them. The char kway teow is particularly good.

Google
We have been either driving by or walking by this location for years. But we decided to give this place a try few days ago. The menu is mixture of Asian food - Malaysian, Chinese and Japanese. We tried few dishes jncluding Malaysian and Chinese dishes. Overall, great Malaysian dishes. Chinese dishes were good but if I had a preference, I would stick with Malaysian menu items - I believe the owner/chef is Malaysian but not certain. We are glad we found and tried this place. This restaurant will be added to our list for local place to go/take out.

Google
best roti i’ve had in america. it pulls apart perfectly and the sauce just brings it to another level. the thai tea was also very authentic, strong and sweet. the prices are amazing considering the quality. definitely a must try if you’re looking for authenticity and value.

Google
Tasty foods and refreshing entrees! We ordered green curry with vegetables and tofu and that is lightly spiced. The seared salmon is very fun. The Chinese broccoli stir fry is very delicious! The delicious chicken skewers are grilled, not fried, served with very unique peanut sauce. We liked everything we ordered there. Service is great! Will definitely come back!

Google
We are the regular customers for the past 2 years in town. The standard of the food has always been consistently superb and authentic (especially for Malaysian & Singaporean tastebuds). Service is always warm and quick. We always leave the restaurant with full stomach and a warm heart. Shoutout to the owners and chef of the restaurant, thank you for making me feel at home. ❤️

Google
First time we had Horrible meals from here. The dipping sauce for viet nameses spring rolls was like water. The lemongrass grilled chicken had no taste especially lemongrass, the vegetable salad underneath and vermicelli were tasteless and soggy. Once again the fish sauce was unrecognizeable. Garlic spinach ok but hardly any garlic. The crispy orange chicken again tasteless as if no seasoning was used. Worst of all crab rangoon..dry with miniscule cream chesses and no crab like dehydrated. We were so disappointed as we really liked this place and gobsmacked at how bad everything was. Something happened with this place or the cook sunday November 23 2025.

Yelp
Incredible authentic Malaysian cuisine! The Khao Soi was amazing! I was able to get it with tofu (vegetarian) and I was so happy. This place doesn't get enough hype, this was by the far the best meal we had while in DC. 100% recommend!!

Yelp
This is our go to place for good Malaysian food! We have been coming here for many years now and the food and experience never disappoints us. The staff is friendly and service is quick! Our favorite dishes are: Chicken satay Beef satay Roti Canai Fried Calamari Green Curry with Chicken Char Kway Teow My kids also love the Lychee Blaster The ambiance is casual and welcoming and the food experience is worth coming back for

Yelp
Most delicious fresh food, fast service, and community atmosphere with many regulars who hug the owners and staff. Love this place. Will be back. The ginger cabbage salad was soooo good! So was the green shrimp curry and fried dumplings with noodles. Love love this place. True joy.

Yelp
A Malaysian colleague recommended this restaurant (supposedly the Singaporean and Malaysian embassy staff cater from here whenever there are events) and I ordered some food from delivery and loved it! Got the Nasi lemak and curry laksa (dishes I've seen on travel shows as national dishes) and very much enjoyed the food. Will definitely order more in the future.

Yelp
I was excited to get Malaysian food from here, but when I tried to order online for pickup, I noticed there weren't any options to adjust the spice level. I thus decided to get the pad thai as I was worried about getting a very spicy dish. I also noticed that I couldn't choose pork online, so I had to get the default chicken, even though there are other meats listed on the menu. The pad thai was a very ordinary dish, as to be expected. I liked how it came with both chicken and tofu. It was a large portion size, although I did finish it all. I found out later I was charged a $1 "support local" fee, which I did not notice when making the order. I'm sure their dine-in experience is different, but the online ordering system was not enjoyable to use, and I am confused what a "support local" fee is. Their food looks really good, and I would have liked to try a Malaysian dish if I could adjust the spice level.

Yelp
First time here! We liked it, and recommend it. Food was delicious, fresh and seasoned just right! Service was prompted. No funny smells and attitude.

Yelp
Satay Club is a diamond in the rough. The food there had some of the most interesting and complex flavors I have ever had. On the strength of that alone, I will probably be back. But the restaurant misses the mark in almost every category from overall food quality, presentation, service and atmosphere. First the diamond part (the good stuff). For starters, I had the pancakes and dipping sauce. The dipping sauce flavor was exciting and unique, rich and unusual. I saved the leftover sauce because I wanted to finish it all like soup. However, the pancakes were greasy, really greasy. To call them pancakes is incorrect; they were really deep-fried dough that had not been adequately drained or dried. And, overall, the presentation was messy. For our main courses, we had 2 dishes. The first was Nasi Lemak - a combo plate of shrimp, chicken skewers, fried egg and deep, deep, deeply fried chicken. The flavors were exotic and the combination of ingredients was interesting. I liked it but did not love it. In particular, the chicken, while delicious and juicy inside, was deep fried. It is something that I think should be "de-cholesterolized" in some way for American audiences. The second main course was Rendang Beef. This dish had a wonderful sauce that was exotic and deep, with lots of spices that I am not familiar with. The sauce was great. The meat, however, seemed too stringy and cheap - like they bought a low cost cut of beef to save money. The beef got caught in my teeth like a big dog and was unpleasant. But oh that sauce was divine! The service was good. The server really spent some time with us, trying to help us select our order. We both appreciated her willingness to spend time helping us. But she was not overly friendly. Also, her descriptions of the dishes left out things like "this dish is deep fried." It was hard to get utensils and, when we did, one set was complete while the other was missing a fork. And it took a long time to get them anyway. The same with our drinks which were never re-filled. I think the owners and the servers have to put themselves in the mindset of people who are NOT at all familiar with the food being served. The descriptions need to be more detailed. When describing the food, the servers should be careful to explain HOW a dish is prepared, not just provide a presentation of the ingredients. The atmosphere and dining room were probably adequate - but nothing more - for a neighborhood restaurant. It is not a fancy place and that is okay. I probably wouldn't even mention this if the food had been 100% perfect. Will I go back to Satay Club? Probably. But, if I return, it will be as a much more cautious and focused diner. I will ask LOTS of questions about the dishes I am considering. I will stay away from anything beef. I will stay away from anything deep fried. The exotic, luxurious and complex sauces will be what I set my sights on. If I can find them, that will change this review from mediocre to really good. With a very little effort on their parts, Satay Club could change from a "diamond in the rough" to a true diamond!!!

Yelp
Really great food if you get the right dishes. Ask the servers what they recommend. The Nasi Lemak is incredible. Service is super quick and it's a chill ambiance. Super friendly. Mango sticky rice is to die for.

Yelp
Okay spot, definitely hole in the wall but not impressive to me. No frills but not my favorite flavors.

Lay Peng T.

Yelp
This is my 'go-to' if I miss South East Asian food. I like everything I have tried so far: satay, kampung fried rice, nasi lemak, wonton noodle, mee goreng ....and definitely the signature chicken rice (need to order in advance). If I have a special occasion to celebrate, this is where I want to bring my VIP! Amy, Tony, Jane, Jyostna, Edmund, the team are amazing folks! - thank you for the warm hospitality, it is more than value for money when I eat here! Can't wait to return!

Tanvi D.

Yelp
Don't let the appearance fool you - this place has the best roti canai in the city!!! My heart is full the laksa was also delicious! Order a side of the crushed peanut with the laksa - you will not regret it. The service is absolutely amazing - very homely and warm. Definitely will be coming back!!

Eleni G.

Yelp
This might be the worst tasting Thai food I have ever had. Bland, oily, tasteless. I tried the red snapper which was deep fried in a tasteless sauce, the drunken noodles also very bland, and the chicken lettuce wrap was too salty and inedible.
google avatar

Alisa L.

Yelp
We were in the neighborhood and tried to find a place for dinner and turned to Yelp. This place has a lower rating than I expected, but if you actually read the reviews of the food, in particular the Malaysian food, they are pretty good (ie some of the bad reviews have nothing to do with the food or service or anything really). This place has many Asian cuisines but really come here for the Malaysian food. The laksa was amazing and I really regret not getting the roti canal because tables around us were getting it and it looked really good. One of the tables near us was Malaysian and I overheard them complementing the food. The place is very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. I don't particularly love Makan (it's very overpriced for decent food), so I'm glad I have a place to get Malaysian food now.
google avatar

Caroline P.

Yelp
Only have gotten takeout from here and they do a great job. Sometimes it's totally empty when I'm picking up food, others every single table is filled. Cse always get the general tso and it's a great portion with some broccoli. Honestly sometimes enough to split the meal with someone else. It comes with a small side of rice which I wish was slightly bigger. Have also had the stemmed pork dumplings which were good. And chicken lomein was okay. We order takeout at least monthly and this place is always consistently good and fast.
google avatar

William P.

Yelp
Family run place that is exquisitely run, priced and pro-portioned. I will add more precise details in further updates. So far tenderness of meats is excellent and zesty. Will be continuous repeat customer fo sho.

Yelp
I love everything I have tried here so far: satay (of course!), Nasi Lemak, chicken rice (3 times!), Kampung fried rice, Cantonese seafood Horfun. Within a period of 6-8 weeks, I have come here more times than going to the sandwich place where I live, in Fairfax. The food is authentic, so if like me, you are homesick and craved SE Asian food. The staff and owners are so friendly, and it is just a treat coming here. I recently had an event here, With more than 30 people, there is no fuss at all, Amy and her staff made things so easy for us and everyone had a great time! Thank you! This has become one of my favorite restaurants and certainly worth my journey here. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Anna W.

Yelp
My friends and I all loved the dishes that we ordered. I got the lamb satay and wonton mee. Both were amazing and I'm craving them again! We also got the lychee drink and mango sticky rice, which were also great.
google avatar

Amit M.

Yelp
A pan-Asian restaurant which specializes in Malaysian cuisine and also offers Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese and Thai dishes. The Curry Laksa is the standout, although it's hard to go wrong with any selections. And the prices are extraordinarily reasonable for this area and age.

Yelp
Our food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the roti canai pancakes and the Malaysian fried rice. The Peking duck was great. Friendly service.

Yelp
We got Satay Club delivered yesterday and were very disappointed, primarily with the lack of care that they gave while packaging our food to go. We ordered Malaysian curry, Thai fried rice, scallion pancakes, and two orders of vegetarian dumplings. The curry lid was not on securely and it leaked everywhere. The bag was dripping when I got it from the driver and dripped all over my floor and kitchen. It stained our hardwood floors. There wasn't much liquid left so the curry was basically marinated veggies and tofu. It also seeped into the fried rice, which made it difficult to enjoy as the spice level was an issue. The lid to the soy sauce container in one of the dumplings box looked like it had melted, so the soy sauce had entirely spilled out and soaked the bottom of the dumplings, making them inedible. Perhaps it was Uber Eats' app, but there were no descriptions for what kinds of things would be included in each dish, so there were some really surprising elements that one wouldn't expect of Thai fried rice or dumplings. There were veggies like zucchini, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts and peanuts in the fried rice, generally things that people with an intolerance or allergy might not think to warn against when ordering. The dumplings had quinoa in them, also not something expected. I do have issues with things like zucchini, and my face was flushed after eating what I could of the meal, and I don't usually have that kind of reaction to food (I avoided the zucchini as best I could). What we could eat was really disappointing. The fried rice had a weird flavor, the dumpling wrappers were thick and the texture of the filling with the quinoa was off-putting. The scallion pancakes were actual pancakes with some green onion in them, and were grease bombs. We were given a full refund from Uber Eats for this issue and we will not be returning. I am disappointed seeing all these really other positive reviews that we didn't get the same level of experience. Perhaps it's different for in-person dining than delivery, so I caution folks against doing delivery!

Nat Z.

Yelp
I am prepared to admit that I may have ordered not one, but two of the wrong things, but one should not necessarily have to worry about striking out after diversifying like that. I picked up takeout and we got an order of tofu basil and an order of drunken noodle. They were both kind of gross and soggy, lacking much in the way of either flavor, spice, depth, or what have you. I was especially impressed at how they were able to make the drunken noodle both soggy and oily. Add a seaweed salad and we were up at 50 bucks. I have regrets and I have questions. Please note that I leave one star reviews extremely sparingly because I can usually find something redeeming in a dining experience, even if the food was not amazing. Such was sadly not the case with this place.

Yelp
Visited Satay Club for the first time recently. Loved it!! Service was great and the food was yummy! The ambiance was fine but I originally had the misfortune of sitting next to 2 families with kids. But I requested to be moved and the staff graciously accommodated. At my new table, I made new friends who were sitting at the next table! Wonton noodles were my fave!! Will def recommend and return!

Yelp
I have been to this establishment numerous times and they have proven to be reliably delightful in both food and service. Satay Club has a small but very cute interior, which provides for a homey feel. Each time I have eaten at Satay Club, I have ordered different sushi rolls from their regular menu and the special house sushi menu. Their mango tango roll is an all time favorite and is truly a work of art. The mango awakens the taste buds, followed by the satisfaction of the savory sushi filling. The crunchy spicy tuna and crunchy spicy salmon rolls are a perfect balance of spicy and savory, with the crunchy flakes to top it off. I could go on and on but you get the idea... The staff has also been very respectful and efficient every time I have eaten here, and they are FAST. They have shown to be in tune with what customers need when they need something, while allowing for a private dining experience. I would also recommend their fried ice cream. It's different from most fried ice cream i've had in that the dough is thicker and the ice cream has hints of coconut- delicious! That being said, I will definitely be eating here again.
google avatar

Nicola M.

Yelp
We made a same day reservation for 6 which was accommodated, and our table was ready when we arrived. I started with the roti canai, which was served with a very light curry broth. The broth could have been a little thicker to stick to the pancake, but I loved the Indian pancakes! My companions enjoyed the summer roll and the hot and sour soup. Pad Thai, drunken noodles and pad see eew were all good, but the wide noodles and sauce on the drunken noodles were my favorite!

Calli T.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was also terrific. We had lunch specials of fried rice and drunken noodles. Everything was delicious! I'd go back again in a second.

Chan B.

Yelp
Third rated Malaysian Resturant for food from Malaysia ! Five star for being clean . The food - try the Nasi lemak - absolutely poor when compared to anywhere . The mee goring was terrible ! Service is okay . Think in the area people who are desperate for Malaysian food will go there / cook is from Indonesia !
google avatar

DC Dad M.

Yelp
Disappointing today as I haven't been here for more than a year. Ordered avocado rolls and one of the rolls had the avocado turning brown. Ordered the Kung Pao Vegetarian Chicken and the Tofu was soggy, not crispy. Very poor today but that's what you get when you serve disappointing food.
google avatar

Nila V.

Yelp
The prices are quite affordable for the portions you receive. The service is very friendly, especially if you go with kids they're very accommodating.
google avatar

Zayna Z.

Yelp
This restaurant has been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants for three years, every time i pass by there it's a definite thing to go inside. Everything there is just so perfect, service 10/10. Null was our server today and she explained the food really good. When you go there make sure to try the mango tango its really delicious!!!
google avatar

Charlie B.

Yelp
Ordered the beef rendang and the Singapore noodles. Very well flavored and service was great too! Was concerned the rendang would be spicy since it's marked as such, but the owner said that I would be fine. I was!

Hannah K.

Yelp
We took an out of state friend who was craving Malaysian food and we all loved it! Roti canai, char kway teow, laksa... All hit the spot. Especially appreciated the vegetarian options. The only thing we didn't care for was the inari sushi which had way too much vinegar but given that it wasn't a Japanese restaurant, they are more than forgiven given everything they advertised themselves as was superb.
google avatar

Jane M.

Yelp
Love the food here! My favorite is the Kampong Fried Rice with crispy anchovies. Sooo good! Roti canai is also to die for, folks. No shortage of authentic Malaysian options plus other yummy Asian options. Friendly service, family owned and operated. A hidden gem of Tenleytown!
google avatar

Suzie Z.

Yelp
4th time here (and counting)! Super authentic Malaysian/Singaporean food which hits the spot and reminds me of home (I'm Singaporean). We ordered three entrees and a dessert to share and needless to say, our tummies (and hearts) are full.
google avatar

Stephen Y.

Yelp
A pretty average experience overall. A friend and I got take-out and ordered the scallion pancakes, crab rangoons, eel-avocado roll, grilled honey-peanut chicken, and mee goreng to try and sample a little bit of everything from their huge menu. In terms of food, the crab rangoons were good, and the sushi was fine. I also really liked the peanut sauce with the honey-peanut chicken. I do wish the scallion pancakes were a more authentic rendition of an Asian scallion pancake, though, instead of breakfast pancakes with a sprinkle of green onion. For what we paid, I do think that the food could have been a bit better, in terms of quality and portion. I'd say the quality of the food is a cut above typical Chinese takeout, which I don't mind, but the price is notably higher. Overall, though, not a bad experience, and I do hope I can try some of the specialties on their gigantic menu next time that will change my mind about the value of the food.

Jocelyn C.

Yelp
Very mediocre. Not made to order, everything is reheated and limp. And way too sweet. Doesn't taste like Thai food. Try elsewhere!
google avatar

Tenzin R.

Yelp
Delicious and great value! I've been going here off and on for a few years, and the food is always amazing. It's pan asian, but their speciality is Malaysian cuisine. Favorites are the curry laksa, any of the curries, chicken satay, drunken noodles, and the roti canai. During lunch, they have a great $10 deal for a salad, chicken satay, and a lunch entree! Staff is friendly as well. Can't recommend enough. If you like hot sauce, be sure to ask for some sambal!

Jo P.

Yelp
Sushi is always great here. I found this place during 2020 when all we could do is carryout. 6 sushi rolls are enough for me and 1 other when we're super hungry :). I usually get the Rainbow, Rock n Roll, Eel w Avocado, spicy crunchy shrimp, shrimp tempura, and salmon rolls. I've tried their other spicy rolls and they're too spicy for me but the spicy tempura is mild.
google avatar

Lemon C.

Yelp
We ordered delivery from here and the food came really fast! I got the Kung Pao Tofu which was delicious! It comes with rice which wasn't clear from the Postmates menu. I liked the Lychee Tropical Drink and the Roti Canai. The Pad Thai had way too much chicken.
google avatar

Faye S.

Yelp
One day I will be able to find the words to express how much I love Satay Club. Until then, you have to trust me. Don't consider anything else. Stop debating where to eat and just go rn. One of my favorite places in DC, also accepts EagleBucks if you're an AU student which is a plus
google avatar

Romy G.

Yelp
I stopped by after getting sushi craving and driving by. I checked the reviews and I have to say I feel like this place deserves better reviews! I came in and sat at a table by myself. There were about three other groups seated. The menu has a lot of options! Lots of different rice and noodle entrees in addition to sushi. My waitress was quick. I ordered miso soup and the Osaka roll. Miso soup was standard, pretty tasty. My Osaka roll was really good! The rolls are a generous size. About 8-9 big rolls. The Osaka roll has bbq eel, tamago, tobiko, tuna, avocado, and scallions. The flavors came together really well. The fish was good quality, and it was cool that tamago egg came on the roll because i haven't seen too many rolls with that. Would visit again to try some other rolls and noodle dishes!

Yelp
Fast delivery, friendly customer service, good prices & delicious tasting Sushi for a working lunch. Me: BBQ Eel with Avocado Roll w/ Brown Rice, which I gave to my Co-Worker. Not many spots offer Brown Rice, especially during lunchtime. I ordered Spring Rolls, yet the Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Roll arrived, so that too went to my Co-Worker. Co-Worker: Smoked Salmon Roll & Cream Cheese, Spicy Scallop Roll & her dessert was the Honey Fried Bananas. I was going to taste one, yet the batter looked to delicious not to be washed with egg. If the old school way of phoning in your order doesn't fit with your schedule, order online. From the time I placed the order to when the Delivery Man arrived, just 26 minutes. Cheap lunch prices with the portion fitting the price & we both enjoyed. Extra kudos to the oh so kind Delivery Guy Renaldo, who delivered us again the next day...Co-Worker ordered the same thing but in 2's.

Yelp
This is one of favorite restaurants in Tenleytown. The food is amazing and delicious. The atmosphere and the service is so great.

Frank W.

Yelp
Never again! Satay used to be our favorite place for sushi and Asian in the area. Apparently, no more. We got take out today and had to call to tell them how unbelievably disappointed we were in the quality of our food. Mixed up our order yet again, virtually no meat in my wife's chicken lemongrass soup, and virtually no fish or crab stick in our sushi (check out photos)!!! Not even going to go into the spring roll fiasco...paid $7 for literally one mouthful of something deep fried we didn't order, can't eat, and that looked like it came directly from the super market freezer. My reason for posting this is the service though. I cannot even fathom how I was treated as a (long time) customer... I sent the attached photo and do you know what they said? "That's only one piece and you didn't let us see the other side..." WTF??? Dude, there's just about no fish in there or in anything I ordered. Do you think I'm making this up? Absolutely pathetic. I was once a believer and a happy customer. Things have REALLY changed. Please take your business elsewhere.
google avatar

Milena L.

Yelp
Consistently good. I come here to enjoy the food I love in a setting that gives me the peace and zen I need. During the summer if feels like a cool place to relax before my next move. As a consultant I move through out the area and find gold gems that I love to come back to while in that area.

Yelp
Best asian we've found in DC so far. Our go to take-out location, and good every time. Highly recommended!

Yelp
The food here was decent, I would've loved to try the original Taiwan restaurant, too bad it closed. Since it is an "all-in-one" restaurant, it's got many different types of cuisine packed into one menu. That said, this place defines "Jack of all trades, master of none." I ordered "Drunken Noodles", picture is uploaded. From their site, "flat rice noodles with stir fried minced chicken, basil leaves, onions, and bell pepper, 8.95." This dish was so salty that I asked for a bowl of white rice ($2) to eat with the flat noodles. It's called drunken noodles because the chicken is supposed to be cooked with rice wine, however this dish was made from a sober chicken that could easily pass for the awkward non-drinker at a frat party. I must say however, this is a very classy restaurant for for an Asian establishment; dim ambient lighting, a bar table, black tables, black chairs, and an A health inspection rating. As they say: A = American, B = Better, C = Chinese. If you want to take your white-washed Asian date to a "classy" dinner, Satay Club is your best bet, with a semi-pricey menu and ethnic titles such as "Malaysian Nasi Goreng," you'll have your date swooning over your exquisite taste in fine dining.
google avatar

Jacob H.

Yelp
Satay Club is the spot‼ I Love the nasi goreng is really good and all entres come with a free soup. If you come a lot they will get to know you and everyone there is really nice and accommodating . Highly recommend 10/10 always planning on coming again.
google avatar

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! excellent service and even better food. could not recommend the drunken noodles enough they are soooo delicious. they have an excellent lunch deal where you can get a free side of soup with your entree. if you come in regularly, they'll remember you :) genuinely very kind staff. love love love.

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends a few months ago and I was thoroughly impressed. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is great. I absolutely loved their Curry Laksa and Vegetarian Green Curry, and the Roti Canai was a lovely appetizer. My friends tried the Lamb and Beef Satays, Spicy Mango Chicken, Crispy Beef, and Nasi Lemak, and had great things to say about all of the dishes. I have never tried their sushi, but it seemed to be generally run-of-the-mill. The service was phenomenal; the food came out quickly and our drinks were always filled, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The exterior is admittedly a little bit run-down, but don't be fooled by the somewhat sketchy outside appearance. The interior ambiance is lovely and the Satay Club is definitely a solid choice for a reasonably priced Asian meal.
